my first attempt at making a minecraft skin :)
#i actually think it looks good so in the agora it goes!#i'm sure it can be improved. maybe future me will. most likely i'll forget lol#this was a real case of 'i cant find what i want so i'll make it myself'#so the concept was a bit demanding i think. i wanted androgyny and started by getting some proportions in the face#because minecraft skins definitely have accepted gendered appearances. if you have the low placed tall eyes you're probably a girl#which i love. so funny that minecrafters developped gender in big pixels#ok and then i wanted some dark-ish and adventurous swag. like someone's problematic fave.#i think i've landed in the realm of 'space leather pirate' and that can't be too far off.#ah and of course: it had to look good!#i'm genuinely so delighted that it worked out :)#minecraft#minecraft skin#pixel art#it was very fun to discover how it all worked. so many semi-hidden spaces that you def have to fill out#and of course the over layer! i had no idea it was a thing.
