(babylove) sometimes when we're sleeping aus wakes up in the middle of the night while big and he's like "i want a bottle" he almost says baba but he corrected himself in the last second and we're like "well, go and make yourself one" and aus is like "nope, im sleepy" so we sigh and go make him one bc we can tell that soon enough he's going to slip, sometimes when big he drinks a bottle before going into his headspace. we always make him a large bottle

when we get back with aus bottle he takes it and starts drinking it and he's kinda messy bc sometimes he takes the bottle out of his mouth and some milk gets on him. but he sucks so greedily the milk and is doing lots of hungry grunts while cuddling against us and we just rub his tummy and at the end aus is like "honey milk" and he's such a messy boy, it's clear that he's feeling fuzzy bc he's clumsier and is asking for his honey milk

We always wake up with him, just to make sure he's okay and we also wake up just in case he wakes up little and needs us. He also is very spoiled like "I could do this but no, I want you to do it for me because I'm sleepy" We know that he's showing signs of slipping so we give up and just make him a bottle so that he doesn't get clumsy and fall while making it.

He does drip the bottle around his mouth and neck and a little on his chest and thank good we have a burp cloth in our nightstand and we put it on him and he's like "what the heck, i don't need this, I'm big!" and whines at us and we're like "idc you're getting messy!"

He gives up and just cuddles against us while we give him bum pats or tummy rubs and his cute little hungry grunts? we love to hear it every time. And we know he'll be fully slipped once he wakes up again and we're excited to see which headspace he'll go into

Robbie essentially acts like a little kid when he’s tired: mumbly, whiny, and clingy. He’s also a lot less coordinated than usual, and even clumsier with himself, which usually results in him bumping into furniture a lot, and sometimes even walls. He’ll look sleepier than he usually does, and he’ll rub his eyes and yawn a lot. He also give zero fucks about staying upright and talking correctly, and he will lean against anyone and anything he’s sitting on/next to, that usually being either Anti or Marvin, and he’ll respond to people with whines and grunts and general noises instead of words. He’s also much more cuddly than usual and will cling to anyone within arm’s reach when he’s super sleepy, so prepare for him to cling to you like a koala when he’s sleepy. Robbie also gets more pouty and demanding when he’s sleepy, and the other egos think it’s the cutest damn thing and can never deny any of Robbie’s requests when he’s like this (I mean they usually can’t in general bc Robbie’s just that cute, but they definitely can’t when it comes to Sleepy Robbie). He also has the habit of falling asleep standing up if he’s not lying down, which is pretty amusing in of itself.

Anti isn’t quite as cute when he’s sleepy, and he’s mostly just grumpy and incoherent. He does act more childish when he’s super sleepy, but not as much as Robbie. He’ll be too sleepy to walk and instead will just glitch everywhere, even if that somewhere is five feet away. He is more open to physical affection when he’s sleepy, though, and he won’t mind if someone pets his head or scratches behind his ears when he’s sleepy. If you’re lucky enough, you might even get to hear the rare and elusive Anti Happy Purr, which is very rough and rumbly, but not super deep.

Marvin, when super sleepy, is essentially dead to the world. He’ll switch between a bunch of languages while mumbling and he’s basically incoherent. He also gains Resting Bitch Face when he’s sleepy enough, and Jackie’s the only one that finds it super cute whereas everyone else finds it funny. He’s also more likely to mess up his magic when he’s sleepy, so he tries to not use it when he’s sleepy. He’s also that person who would accidentally pour orange juice instead of milk in his cereal when he’s super sleepy. He’s actually done this once or twice, and it’s definitely one way to get him to wake up in a flash.

It’s actually pretty rare to find Jackie in a super sleepy state due to his seemingly endless energy, but when he is, it’s like someone put him in slow motion. He’s still pretty chipper and coherent, but his reflexes are essentially garbage and he takes longer to process what people are saying to him. He doesn’t really like being that sleepy, since justice has no sleep schedule and he wants to be as prepared as possible in case someone needs to be saved, so he depends on coffee to help wake him up when he’s that sleepy.

Schneep is always tired to some degree due to his job and due to being a father, but it’s not as common to actually find him sleepy. You can tell how sleepy he is by how much he mixes up his German and English, and he’ll eventually get to the point where English flies out the window and he goes full German. It’s a disadvantage for everyone except Marvin, aka the only ego that knows fluent German besides Schneep. This is also why Marvin is the one who handles Schneep when he gets to this sleepy of a state, since he can actually hold a conversation with the doctor in his mother tongue. Schneep will also give no shits about his appearance, and his normally coiffed and styled hair will be an mess of soft minty fluff. Coffee usually helps perk him up right away, but on the rare occasion it doesn’t, he’ll either pass out on the couch or at his desk.

Chase, being a father of two, is very familiar with the feelings of sleepy and tired. When sleepy, though, he gets very stubborn and doesn’t wanna move from his spot, and will try and shoo away anyone that tries to move him. He also gets a lot sassier when he’s sleepy and can come up with some pretty creative insults (”I will turn your fingers into ammo for my nerf gun if you shake me again, you dense sack of Satan’s left ass cheek.”), which everyone finds fucking hilarious. Marvin will use his magic to levitate Chase into bed if he doesn’t give in, or they’ll have Bing carry him to bed if he happens to be around, since Bing seems to be the only person Chase is least likely to fight against.

You’ll be able to tell when Jameson is sleepy if he starts nodding off and his eyes are all droopy along with silent yawns and eye rubbing. Since he’s already super quiet, people don’t usually notice he’s sleepy until they seem him passed out where he’s sitting with his hat sitting lopsided on his head and his monocle askew on his face. He’s even silent when he’s asleep, but if he did make noise, he’d snore very lightly and softly.

Angus will try and fight off the sleepiness as much as he can before he succumbs to it. When he’s sleepy, he’s very mumbly and clumsy and has a horrible case of the Dropsies, which is bad if you’re trying to put away your knives while you’re super sleepy. Never trust this man with anything sharp and/or fragile when he’s sleepy, because he will most definitely drop it at some point. His accent also gets thicker and it’s hard to understand what he’s saying sometimes because of the Increased Aussie in his voice. He will try and deny that he’s sleepy until he tries shoving a spoon in one of his knife sheaths, and that’s when he’ll be like “A’ight, okay, I should…probably sleep or somethin’…”
