#which even Dir and the GazettE aren't necessarily exempt from

I think it really says a lot when band members stick together.
Take Dir and the GazettE for instance, the former maintaining the same lineup for 20+ years and the latter close to that as well.
For sure they've argued, they've fought, but they always know what's best for the band as a whole, and in that sense, are quite considerate of their fans.
I've observed that unlike them, a lot of their Western counterparts switch up members a lot.
And this is because, in my view, they aren't as selfish and individualistic. In most Asian cultures, collectivism is the norm, which is essentially emphasis on the group instead of the self.
They don't ask for "special treatment", or complain often how they're not being paid enough. Not to say there aren't exceptions, but much less so.
There's that stereotype with Asians being doormats and let me tell you that's true to some extent xD, but that's a whole other topic.
Obviously, neither collectivism nor individualism is absolutely good nor bad, I think the best is to strike a balance between the two. Don't be so individualistic that it comes at the expense of others, and don't always put the group's needs first at the expense of your own. Easier said than done, but something we should strive for.
Being Asian myself, I naturally gravitate more towards bands like them. I appreciate and value people who know how to take care of those in their circle, and are willing to sacrifice for others, be it their family, friends, etc. People like those deserve my respect and admiration.
