endlessly compelled by the concept of Maeve realizing she needs Annie more than Annie needs her.

hear me out. she will be running around thinking she's doing Annie all the favors in the world, everything is ultimately up to her and she's being dragged into some vigilante nonsense against her will because without her the girl (and others) would die, except wait Annie has allies (some might even say friends), family, a somewhat functioning support system, raw chutzpah, and she can fucking fly. meanwhile Maeve is surrounded by bootlickers and backstabbers at best and doesn't really have any sort of plan for anything farther than 5 days from now--
