Freminet: Battle Style + Special Move
As stated in the above post I've designed Spiral Byxis to be a primarily attack type bey, with some stamina and defensive utility. This is to mirror Freminet's on-field DPS play style. I try to keep as true to his kit as possible when designing, and that continues here.
In game, Freminet is a claymore character that does a mixture of cryo and physical damage. His damage increases with consecutive hits, and he finishes off with one large smash attack. I wanted his beyblading style to reflect that. Details below the cut
Essentially how Freminet works in game is that the skill activates what's known as the Pers timer, which increasingly buffs his normal attack damage with each strike.
Initially, he is at level 0, and it goes up one level with each hit. When the timer is full at level 4, it causes his fifth hit to be a highly buffed physical damage strike. However, in levels 1-4, he does both cryo and physical damage, with cryo decreasing and physical increasing in return (you can see the multipliers below. Talent level 10)
To translate this to his battles I think his typical style would be the following
One hard smash as an initial attack (to mirror the Level 0 damage)
Several consecutive attacks, dealing damage using both the spiral fusion wheel and the wing spin track (to mirror the dual type of damage he does. typically Freminet is built either for cryo or physical damage and not both, and because his kit is more focused on physical, in my opinion the wings are the "bonus" cryo damage he deals)
One final heavy hitting smash attack using the spiral fusion wheel (which was selected because it specializes in this sort of attack, and I think it pays homage to the hard hitting power that claymores have)
After knocking back the opponent I personally think he'd take a few seconds to recover, probably by circling the stadium before going in for the next attacks.
His special move would function the way his burst does. I think this is a fairly logical way for a Genshin character to translate into Beyblade, and honestly the names are cooler than anything I could personally come up with.
That being said, here's what his special move Shadowhunter's Ambush would do.
In game this functions in 2 pretty basic ways
buffs Freminet's attacks
decreases the cooldown of the Pers timer while accelerating its buildup
This would essentially translate to a sort of hyper/frenzy state in his bey. Instead of needing 4 attacks to build up to the final smash attack, it'd only be 2; furthermore he wouldn't need to waste time circling to regain power and could go straight into his next attacks.
Freminet and Byxis would also get increased resistance to interruption during this period, which again overall increases his damage output
Drawbacks that I can personally think of would be the following
Very high stamina consumption. If he is using this, he would probably be betting on it to end the battle
If he does manage to get interrupted, it would end his buffed state. This is to mimic the buff disappearing when Freminet switches off field
Other things of note:
I think because of Freminet's canon hobby of tinkering with devices and mechas, he'd be keen on switching out parts of his bey to suit a particular battle. This "formula" if you will is probably just what he goes with the majority of the time, and has found to be effective in most instances
This would probably extend to helping his siblings optimize their beys as well. While I haven't designed ones for Lyney or Lynette yet, whatever enhancements are on there when I do can probably be assumed to be Freminet's doing
However, when I do design them, I won't particularly consider team synergy with him. This is in part because of the twins, only Lynette is a support and in part because Freminet's canon personality is one who prefers to spend a lot of time alone, especially when stressed or overwhelmed
The owner of Byxis in MM, Zeo's, special move plays off the magnetic functions of the compass. I could make something up to reference that but quite frankly I chose it for the aesthetic of the mariner's compass matching Freminet's in both being a 'machine' and being used at sea

i've given my favorite son Spiral Byxis W105MF
Rationale below cut
I've only seen metal fight beyblade, and only remember metal fusion and masters. Most info is from the wiki's hybrid wheel system section
Goals for Freminet's bey were as follows
Mechanical +/- Nautical theme
Attack type, in reference to his on field DPS playstyle
Favor stamina over defense as secondary stat, as his personality is to hide away and evade when overwhelmed rather than face conflict head on
Face bolt + Energy Ring: Byxis There are not a lot of good pics of this energy ring on the wiki, so here's the pic of Flame Byxis, as well as a replacement version from Ebay
Reasoning: Pyxis (the constellation from which Byxis is based) is the constellation for the mariner's compass. I found this to be the happy middle between the themes I'd picked for him. Other energy rings in consideration were Gil, Cetus, and Tempo; the former two were ruled out as they focused more on the sea theme and Tempo was ruled out because I just gave Bennett Tempo, and I liked the spikes on Byxis for more relation to attacking.

Fusion Wheel: Spiral Reasoning: Pretty good attack fusion wheel, that is useful for smash attacks, which felt good for Freminet's claymore and physical damage playstyle. The wave patterns on the fusion wheel also kinda remind me of the sea. Because the compass is an invention, I tried to have other parts compensate the nautical theme a little more, as being a diver is pretty essential to Freminet's personality.
The other wheel for consideration was Forbidden, as I thought it linked nicely to his Fatui background in addition to having good attack and stamina. However, it suffers high recoil damage which didn't work well with the performance tip I have selected.

Spin Track: Wing 105
Reasoning: Low set spin track with some attack and some defense via its weight. The wings resemble fins, which I thought was a nice nod to Pers. I didn't want a particularly tall spin track so he could make better use of Byxis's spikes and attempt to smash attack from lower down. This is low enough that it does that without worrying about dragging on the ground.

Performance Tip: Metal Flat
Reasoning: Very attack heavy performance tip, more weight and less friction while maintaining traction due to metal design, which gives it pretty good stamina as well. Chose the spin track based on the tip's shortcomings, which was it's complete lack of defense.
