The late 90s and early 2000s was an Era of whimsy that just doesn't happen as often in cartoons/animation today. They were allowed to animate and depict nonsensical situations and actions that you simply cannot do in the real world. It was a time of animation experimentation and chaos, that I believe makes it so fun to watch even in the modern age. Ah, to have a touch of whimsy in animation again, that's the dream.
