Jamie and I had a very eventful, fun day. We first munched on some lunch at IHOP. And by lunch, I mean breakfast because it's the freaking international house of pancakes. It was close to 2 o'clock and I was craving a corn dog, so we headed to sonic IMMEDIATELY following IHOP. We literally both ordered the same order so it cost the same for both of us, but we were paying separately so we had to place two orders. We chilled there for about an hour, then made our way over to Rue 21 in search of finding some snazzy, new earrings. Well, we found that and then some. Jamie got this cool earring for her piercing halfway up the ear above the usual piercing (I don't know the name for it), this ring she is completely fascinated by, and a pair of snazzy, funky fresh sandals. I found this cool leaf design ear cuff and a cute flowery cloth headband for only one dollar! It was pretty cool. I also found this skirt that was made to make the flower design on it look 3-D. It was way cool, but they didn't have my size and I didn't want to squeeze into one or pin the sides in order to wear it so I had to pass on this one. Next, we visited Mickey D's and got a dr. Pepper. we took a drive and ended up at the animal shelter. The kittens and cats were cute, but of course the dogs scared and bothered me. I just can't take it. Jamie is so good with animals. She wasn't scared at all and gave attention to every single animal. I wish I could do that. Next, we headed to Hastings' Hardback Cafe, not for the free wifi at all. Wifi ended up being sucky and thankfully we were saved with a mission given by Jamie's grandma. She texted saying she wanted a roast beef sandwich with cheese and a side of curly fries. So, we took a drive to Arby's. Once we pulled up to the drive thru menu, the employee offered a special which Jamie politely declined. Then he said 'order when you're ready'. We looked over the menu for a 'roast beef sandwich cheese' but didn't see anything so Jamie just asked for a roast beef sandwich with cheese and a side of curly fries. No answer. Silence for the next 3 minutes. We just sat there waiting for him to reply. Finally, he answered but didn't hear Jamie's order in the first place so she had to repeat the whole thing over again. It was pretty funny. I didn't see him when we pulled up to the window, but she said he was cute enough to be pardoned. Off we went, to drop off grandmother's food. We drove around for a while longer just listening to music and talking. As we were passing pizza mill, Jamie mentioned she wanted to go there for lunch but forgot all about it so we decided we could go for dinner in about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, we went to fill up her gas tank. Next stop, pizza mill. It is a laid back, chill place that makes some of the best waffle fries ever. As we were about to leave, Jamie said she had to use the restroom but didn't want to use Pizza Mill's. Albertson's is across the street so I suggested that, also because I wanted to go see what it's like. So we headed over there. The restrooms are weirdly placed. The entry is between two refrigerated areas. It's such an awkward setup but the toilets were nice and new. We left and headed to Tulie. This was just a quick overview of the places we went and some details to each destination. I didn't mentioned the entirety of the jokes and laughs we shared. It's always a good time with Jamie! Some reminders of this day: Cops at IHOP AND Pizza Mill InstaDAM "James Dames" Pee 'n' flee I ain't got no type!... Excuse me... Witnessing a small child get his hand slapped because he merely touched Jamie's parked car. Deciding between a super cute kimono scarf and a pair of shoes. Nostalgia about last year's spring break trip to Vegas. What's the limit of corn dogs we can order? Can I get a mini shake in all the flavors? Jamie vigorously looking for a bobby pin... "Here's a tip: give up" Jamie needing a bobby pin and a spoon for her shake... I casually look in my purse for a bobby pin and happen to have one, plus a spoon from Wendy's. Almost getting ID'ed before entering an animal shelter. Enjoying the smell of gasoline. "Well look here son" *seat falls back* Driving up to a stop sign and there's a man parking literally 3 feet away from it. "I go to cole ledge" Bonding over Luke Hemmings. Literally reaching for the wifi signal *ringtone goes off* *thinks it's someone else's phone ringing* waits a couple of seconds* *is really your phone* that's when you know you don't get many phone calls, you don't even know the sound of your own ringtone.
