Hints
Mind Your Money
Earning money to pay the UAA’snext ranking fee can be a pain, but it’s best toget it out of the way quickly, as you can use therest of your cash to buy upgrades or otheramenities, and/or spend some time making moremoney before you fight.
Train Early And Often
With that extra money youhave, the first things you should spend it on aretraining sessions at the Thunder Ryu Building. Bydoing the Bench Press and Squats (at least those, since they’re the cheapest), you can extend yourmaximum amount of health and overall strength
Training
Training before your next Ranking fight isincredibly helpful, as a lot of strength and a lotof health can help you get through the enemyhordes before facing the boss.
Get The Dash Move Asap
Once you gain access toLovikov’s bar, Gold Town, you can start collectingLovikov Balls and redeem seven of them for newtechniques. First on your list should be “Memoryof Child,” a dash move on the ground activated bythe B button. The dash can help you get aroundtown quicker if you’re away from the bike, like, say, when you’re collecting a bunch ofclose-together Lovikov Balls.
Find Lovikov Balls Easily
Once Naomi’s Lab opensup, you can purchase the Accelerator, a permanentadd-on to the Beam Katanas indicating thelocations of every Lovikov Ball on the map (aswell as spots where you can dig up hidden money). The Accelerator costs LB$29,800.
Want Cards? Look Everywhere
Trading Cards are inevery Ranking battle area in the game, hidden intreasure chests. Some are easy to spot; others mayrequire you to go off the beaten path slightly.
Super Strike
After performing a finishing strike(when the directional arrow appears), immediatelyshake the Remote a couple of times. A mess oftriangles should appear over the enemy, and thepower of Travis’ strike will double. With a singleenemy, this isn’t very helpful, but if you can geta cluster of enemies around the one you’re aboutto finish, you have a chance of killing multipleenemies at once.
Bike Hop
When riding on the motorcycle, flick theRemote up to perform a big leap! It’s not entirelyuseful, but it’s kinda fun.
Emergency Drift
When riding the bike, hit thebrake at the same time and twist the Remote leftor right to slide in place. Good for making tightcorners if you miss a turn!
No More Heroes Walkthrough
Once you’ve selected the difficulty level, you’llfind yourself outside your motel room, or yourhome base. Run along the catwalk to the stairs andyou’ll automatically enter the game’s introductorycutscene. Enjoy, as you’re in for a unique newadventure. You’ll arrive inside Townsend Mansion. Hit “A”, asprompted, the agree to play through the tutorial,as you’ll need it to learn how to fight throughthis game. In the tutorial you’ll be expected topull off specific moves to move on to the nextone. These moves are explained to you below.Beam Katana – Not so much a move as it is yourweapon. Simply hit “A” to swing it as the enemyapproaches. Continue hitting the enemy until youare presented with a large arrow on your screen, which means you’ve entered Death Blow Mode. Whenin this mode, point your Wiimote in the directionof the indicated arrow to finish off the enemy. When the enemy has taken his final blow the slotsat the bottom of the screen will spin. More oftenthan not this will mean nothing to you. However,on occasion, the slots will match up and you’llenter Dark Side Mode, which is a whole new ball ofwax. Look for the “Dark Side Mode” heading in theintroduction for a complete description.Recharge – Watch the gauge on the right side ofthe screen, as it indicates the amount of batterypower left in your Katana. To recharge it, hit “1”on the Wiimote to enter “charge” mode, then swingyour Wiimote from left to right, as indicated onscreen. Fill it up to move on.Locking On and Blocking – If you have anyintention of making it through this game, you’regoing to have to block, block, block. Luckily, this is easy, as all you must do to block is belocked onto the enemy. Do this by holding the “Z”button.Note, when playing on “Sweet” difficulty, you willautomatically block if you do not move.Emergency Evade – Lock onto an enemy, then hit theControl Pad in any direction to roll in thatdirection and avoid attack.Weapon Clash – On occasion, your Katana will meetup directly with that of the enemy, thus forcing a”Weapons Clash”. When this happens, you will enterDeath Blow Mode again. Like before, watch theon-screen indicator to see which way you need tomove your Wiimote. In a Weapons Clash you’ll beasked to spin it in one direction.Win a Weapon Clash and you’ll be sent back toDeath Blow Mode to finish off the enemy.Down Attack – When an enemy is on the ground, approah him and you’ll be prompted to hit your “A”button. Do so to perform a Down Attack.Slicing High and Low – Note the High/Low indicatorat the top right corner of your screen. It letsyou know whether you are holding your Katana highor low. Keep your Katana high, then slice, to takeout those who are blocking low. Keep your Katanalow, then slice, to take out those who areblocking high. For the sake of the tutorial, take out the firstgroup of men with repeated high slices, and thesecond group with repeated low slices.Beat Attacks – Beat attacks are used to stunenemies. To perform one, simply use the “B” buttoninstead of the “A” button.Beats can also be performed High or Low.When an enemy is stunned (you’ll see a blue neonglow and stars them), they are defenseless. Youcan either take advantage of this by striking themwith your katana, or you can Throw them. Thetutorial will first ask you to strike.Throws – As mentioned, to Throw and enemy, youmust first perform a Beat Attack with “B”. Oncethey are stunned, hit “B” again to grab hold ofthe enemy. Once you have him in your hands, you’llbe shown two arrows. The left arrow indicates thedirection you must move the Nunchuk, the rightarrow indicates the direction you must move theWiimote. Do this in one simultaneous movement tothow the enemy.Note, I found that I often play with both myNunchuk and Wiimote in the “High” position, orpointing nearly straight up. If you are guilty ofthis, too, it’s important that you reset yourhands so they are both pointing straight forwardbefore moving them in the indicated direction.Perform a Throw to move onto the next task.Charged Beat Attack – To perform a Charged BeatAttack, hold “B” as you approach your enemies. Thelonger you hold, the stronger the attack. Whenready, unleash by releasing “B”.Note, there is a maximum level to which you cancharge. If you reach it, you’ll automaticallyunleash your attack.Charged Slash – Just like the Charged Beat, theCharged Slashed is performed by holding down thebutton until you’re satisfied with the charge, then unleashing it by releasing the button. Thebutton in question here is, of course, the “A” button. The Charged Slash is a great move to use when youfind yourself surrounded by many enemies. HOWEVER,it also does a number on your battery level. Onelarge charge can run you dry, so, be prepared torefill once you’ve performed your Charged move.Note, you can perform high or low Charged Slashes.High Charged Slashes are best used against thosein front of you, while low Charged Slashes arebest used against those to the side of you. Youcannot move while charging a high Charge Attack –you can while charging a low Charge Attack.Like the Beat Attack, the Charge Attack willautomatically unleash if you reach the maximumcharge level.Death MetalUpon completing the tutorial you’ll be tossed intothe game. Using your new skills, eliminate thosewho come at you from the stairs, then move up thestairs and pass through the door. Before entering the room ahead, move down the hallto the right and note the chest. Slash it for manycoins. Backtrack and enter the room. You’ll be dealing with several enemies at onetime.but not so many that you won’t be able tohandle it. Be sure to use your “Lock On” button toautomatically block, and pop the enemies as theycome with your Katana. If you find yourself running low on health whilein battle, break open the purple glowing crate andstep into the glow to refuel. Once all enemieshave been eliminated, the door will open up.Exit and move down the hall to the right. Followit to the end and head up the stairs. At the end of the next hall is an open doorway (tothe left) and a blue glowing crate. Inside blueglowing crates you’ll discover battery refills. Goahead and collect it, then move through the doorway. To the left of the doorway is another opendoorway. Ignore it for now and smash the chestdirectly in front of you to reveal Trading CardNo. 001. Return to the open doorway and movethrough it.In this room you’ll encounter many enemies. Again,I must remind you to block, block, block, simplyby remaining locked on as often as you can (hold”Z”). With that being said, the easiest way topick this gang of thugs off is to enter the room, move toward them, and pull of a High or LowCharged Slash. This should take out the firstwave. This should also take out your battery pack,so, run to an area free of enemies and recharge.Once ready, begin picking off the remaining menone by one.Note, there is a Health Crate in the room, andthere is a chest with Trading Card No. 002 in theroom.Backtrack all of the way back to the entryway withthe large staircase, killing as you go.Upon reaching the entryway the doors beneath thestairs will open. Fight your way to the far end ofthe hall and collect from the Chests. Once allenemies have been eliminated (including theslightly tougher to defeat man with the TripleKatana at the end) the star at the end will glowred and a “!” will appear above it. Step onto theglow and hit “A”.Checkpoint.Next you’ll find yourself in a large room withmany enemies. Focus on taking out a couple at atime, as they tend to move in pairs. Since theroom is so large, it’s not that hard of a battleas you won’t be attacked until you get close tothe sprawled enemies. Because of this, this is agood room to practice some of your skills, asyou’ll be needing them shortly.Again, remember to block, and use the surroundingCrates for Health, Batteries, Coins and TradingCard No. 003.Once all have been eliminated, the iron door willopen. Take out the Triple Katana guard blockingit, then exit.Immediately go into “Lock on” mode, as there willbe men to your right shooting at you. Beforedealing with them, head left for Trading Card No.004, then fight your way though the gun wieldingpsychopaths to the red star at the end. Step intoit and hit “A”.Run down the hall and your phone will ring. Waitfor Travis to pick it up, then put your Wii-moteto you ear to listen to the words ofencouragement. When the conversation comes to andend, run to the far end of the next hall (note thechest along the right side, as it’s hiding TradingCard No. 005.Collect from both the Health and Battery Crates(repeat until both meters are full), as your bigbattle is moments away. Next, step into the starto the left to collect the mask on the floor andlearn the Front Neck Chancery Drop. Before heading into the “!” to the right, stepinto the “S” to Save your game. Once this iscomplete, walk into the “!” to the right.Welcome to your first assassination, Death Metal. While this battle is the toughest you’veencountered thus far, it’s not difficult as longas you a) remain locked on to Death Metal, so youcan easily evade and block his attacks, and b)remain patient.Death Metal will come at you with a massive blade. If you face him head on as he comes, you can, mostoften, avoid damage if you remain still and inyour locked on position. However, if you want tobe proactive in this battle, it will serve youbest to roll left or right to evade the attackcompletely. More often than not, Death Metal willcontinue his wild swinging, and end in a downwardlunge, where he will remain still momentarily. He’s very easy to damage when in this position, ashis back is unprotected. Slice a few times, oreven stun him with a Beat Attack, then do more damage. You can also charge him, although you do risktaking more damage this way. If you take thisroute, it’s best to mix up the height of yourSlices. I usually performed two low Slicesfollowed by two high Slices, then rolled out ofthe way before taking any damage. As mentioned before, Beat Attacks work well tostun the big guy. Repeat with another Beat to getthe opportunity to slam him into the ground, whichcan cause a lot of damage. However, if you’re notcomfortable with this move yet, you might want tostay away from it, as missing the slam will almostalways result in your taking damage.Once Death Metal’s health meter falls below thehalfway mark, he’ll split into three. Two of thethree Death Metals have a health bar that’s easyto pick off. Focus on them first (preferrably oneat a time), then refocus on the main Metal and histougher meter. Finally, don’t miss the Health and Battery Cratesin the area, as you’ll most certainly need them (Iran out of battery juice around Metal’s halfway mark).Upon defeating Death Metal, smash open the CoinChest, then walk into the “!”.Preparing for Dr. PeaceNext Entry Fee: $150,000With your first assassination behind you, you’llfind yourself back at the Motel. In your bedroomyou can check the Closet for clothes and theDrawer for weapons, although, at this point, therewon’t be much there for you. You can also give theMap a look, or check the Telephone for messages.Check out the Living Room to Save your game at theToilet, watch videos on the TV, get something toeat from the Fridge, play with Jeane (your cat),or check on your Card Collection. Once you’ve doneall you want to do, Exit.Head downstairs. If you want to hop onto yourSchpeltiger and practice your motorcycle skills atthis time, feel free, as it’s parked at the bottomof the stairs. However, since you’ll have plentyof play time soon, I suggest running past it tothe “!” outside the limo. Walk into it for yournext assignment. You’ll be told the name of your next hit, Dr.Peace. You’ll also be told that, in order to takeon this next mission, you must deposit $150,000LB. Since you do not have $150,000, you have somework to do.You’ll be dropped off outside K-Entertainment(indicated on your map as a Skull). Go ahead andenter and speak to the receptionist. You’ll learnyou don’t have enough money to partake in theactivities, so, exit and you’ll be notified theJob Center (flashing pink icon on your map) is nowopen. Just what you need!Hit “1” to call your Schpeltiger, and ride it tothe flashing pink dot (remember, hit “B” to stop, then press down on the Control Pad to dismount).Once there, enter the Job Center. Speak to the manbehind the counter, then check the bulletin boardfor a job. There’s one posted, “CoconutCollector”. Take the job, then check the JobCenter section of the guide for details on how tocomplete this mission.Upon completing “Coconut Collector”, you’llreceive an introductory ticket to K-Entertainment.You’ll automatically be taken there. Enter, speakto the receptionist, who will offer you two jobs,”Pizza Butt” and “Snake Hail”. Select “PizzaButt”, and complete it for the money. For detailson K-Entertainment missions, check theK-Entertainment section of the guide. The completion of Pizza Butt should earn youenough cash to face Dr. Peace. If not, ride to thenext “M” and complete that task. Otherwise, rideto the motel (blue icon with the house on it),walk across the street to the ATM ($ on your map),and deposit your cash. Return to the motel andenter you room to automatically listen to youranswering machine. You are now ready to take on Peace.Dr. PeaceRide to the flashing yellow “IX” icon, which isoutside a large arena (find the driveway to makeyour way to the start point).Fight your way through the line of enemies toleft, to the triple Katana man. Defeat him, thencollect from the Health and Battery Crates. Don’tmiss the Trading Card No. 006 while there. Hereyou’ll find yourself at a dead end. Backtrack andeliminate those in your path as you head right.Grab the Health Crate at the end, then head up theramp and through the newly opened gate.Smash the Coin Crate to your right, then headleft. Pop each enemy as you come to him, theneliminate the triple Katana enemy. Step into the”!” to pass through the gate. Here you’ll be expected to play a little Katanaball. The thugs will toss baseballs your way. Holdup the Wiimote to prepare, then, when the ballapproaches, swing the Wiimote like you would abat. The faster you swing, the faster the ballwill fly at your opponents. Take as many as youcan out with three balls. Eliminate any stragglerswith your Katana, and collect from the many crates.Move through the raised gate, grab Trading CardNo. 007, and continue on your killing spree.Collect from the Battery Crate, then head up theramp and step into the “!”.Checkpoint.Clear out the enemies, step into the star, swingyour bat to eliminate the next round. Like before, eliminate the remaining men and collect from theCrates lining the hall (don’t miss Trading CardNo. 008).Clear the next hall, grab Trading Card No. 009,then step into the “!”.Checkpoint.Fight your way down this last enemy lined hall.Since it’s the last one, it is tougher than therest, but it’s alo nothing you can’t manage. Asyou approach the end, three triple Katana enemieswill pop out from the right. Focus on eliminatingone at a time for best results. Grab from thecrates (don’t miss Trading Card No. 10 at theend), and move through the open door.Run down the open hall, answer your phone, thenfill up on Battery Juice and Health at theappropriate crates. Learn the Reverse Armsault viathe mask at the Red Star, then Save at the “S”.Once this is all complete, step into the “!” toface the good doctor.er, detective. The same rules apply in taking down Peace as didwith Death Metal: Remain locked on so you’realways blocking, and remain patient.Peace will remain on the mount, so it’s your jobto make your way to him. He’ll shoot in spurts, which you can block, but are best to avoid. He’llalso shoot the occasional super shot, which isdamaging and will set you back on your path tohim. When Peace goes for the super shot, you’ll beable to see him charge up. As soon as you seethis, roll right or left to evade the damagingattack, as your block won’t protect you. Keeprolling until you see Peace glow yellow andrelease his shot. Once successfully evaded, continue your trek toward him.Upon reaching Dr. Peace, wait for an opening andslice away. I suggest getting three to four shotsin at a time, the rolling to evade any counterattack. This is slow, but effective. If you canget a Beat Attack in, go for it, as the ReverseArmsault wrestling move you just learned will dosome fairly decent damage.Unless you let Peace get a shot in and you’re sentflying back, you should be able to complete thisbattle by rolling circles around the big guy, andstriking whenever you get a chance.Take advange of the Health and Battery Crates inthe area, and avoid running out of battery juicetoo often by evading, instead of blocking. If youneed to charge your battery, the best time to doso is either immediately after Peace lets off asuper shot, or after you’ve successfully executedyour wrestling move.Coninue to pick off Peace’s meter. He’ll getfiestier at the end, but nothing you can’t handle. When he has a sliver of life yet, he’ll shoot youacross the arena, doing damage. Pick yourself up,then make your way to him one final time. As youapproach you’ll be prompted to hit a random buttonto pull off your finishing move. Hit the rightbutton and Peace will go down.Open the treasure chest and walk into the red star.ShinobuNext Entry Fee: $200,000Upon exiting the motel you’ll be notified thatNaomi’s Lab (weapons, indicated by light blue iconwith sword) is now open, as is the Thunder RyuBuilding (strength training, indicated by flashingyellow icon), and Area 51 (clothing store, indicated by T-shirt icon). You’ll also find a newpart-time job is available. How you decide to make(or spend) money is now up to you. I went toNaomi’s Lab and purchased both the Tsubaki and theAccelerator and I went to Thunder Ryu for somebody work (dumbbell, bench press, and squat). Icompleted Mission 02 at the Job Center (twice),and redid Mission 01. I also completed Gigs 02,03, and 04 at K-Entertainment, one Free FightMission (blue “M”s) for the required money.Once you have the entry fee, ride to the ATM nearthe motel and pay up. Check the answering machinein your motel room, then ride to the school(flashing yellow “VII” icon). Step into the redstar to begin the school yard battle.Clear the yard of those in front of you, thenthose to the left. Next, recharge your katana, then eliminate those waiting for you on the rightside of the school. Collect Trading Card No. 011from the chest, then return to the front and stepinto the “!”.Checkpoint.Fight your way down the hall. Head right forTrading Card No. 012, then work your way left. Atthe end of the hall a man with a fiery club willemerge. Take him out as you normally would. If youhappen to find yourself on fire after the battle, locate the fire extinguisher in the corner and putyourself out.Fight your way forward, through the halls of theschool. Eventually you’ll reach a Health Chest anda “!”. Collect what you need, then move throughthe door.Upon arriving in the new area, one of yourfire-loving friends will trigger the sprinklersystem, rendering your Katana useless. Your goalis to make it through the winding halls, whileavoiding the attackers, to the open utility roomat the end. Once there, step into the “!” todeactivate the sprinklers. Phew. Recharge yourKatana, then backtrack through the hall, takingout those you just ran past. At the end you’ll runinto four slightly tougher grunts. Eliminate them, recharge your battery, then move into the “!”.In the gym you’ll discover several enemies readyto rumble. They’re tough, but nothing you can’thandle. An initial charges slice can dodamage.just be sure to run for the Battery Crateimmediately afterward. Eventually those attackingwill fall, and you’ll spot two enemies waiting foryou at the far end. Charge your battery, and movetoward them. Look out for their charged shot, rollto evade it, then pick off their health bars, oneat a time. When they succumb the gym doors willopen. Exit out.Head left for Trading Card No. 014, then head downthe hall to the stairs. Before going up them, slipbehind them and destroy the hidden chest forTrading Card No. 015 (tricky, no?). Move up thestairs and answer your phone.Work your way through the halls to Trading CardNo. 015, the wrestling map with a new wrestlingmove, the Save, the Health Chest, and, finally, the “!”.Fighting ShinobuShinobu can be tough a tough battle, as she candeal a lot of damage. With that being said, itdoesn’t have to be a tough battle, if you know howto fight it.The key to defeating Shinobu is two-fold. First, avoid her attacks at all costs. Second, use yourwrestling moves to take her out.Per usual, keep this boss in a constant state ofbeing locked on. When she comes at you, evade androll out of her way (do your best to roll to herside). More often than not, successful evasionwill lead to an opening to strike the lady frombehind. Do so with “A”, but only hit her once. Ifyou make contact, Shinobu will stumble back. Fromhere, she’ll either escape (this happens rarely),or, she’ll put up a high block with her katana(most often). The second she strikes this pose, hit her with a Beat attack (“B”) to stun her. Onceshe’s in her starry daze, hit her again with “B”,then pull off the prompted wrestling move. Repeatthree more times.Of course, the battle will get a bit harder as itmoves forward. For example, on the third or fourthhit, Shinobu may remain in her starry daze foronly a split second, making it hard to wrestle. Todeal with this, get in the habit of double tapping”B” when initially going for the Beat. You should also be aware that the lady has acouple of nasty, nasty attacks that will come outafter you’ve successfully wrestled her two orthree times. Both of them come after a charge. Thefirst is a projectile attack, where she’ll toss 6or 7 knives your way. Once launched, it’s nearlyimpossible to avoid, so, the best thing you can dois to make sure you’re never in front of her whenshe charges. Do this by always sticking close toher, and rolling to one of her sides any time shecharges. Her second nasty attack is a super katana slicer. As mentioned before, it, too, comes after acharge. Instead of tossing projectiles, she’lllunge with her katana. If she makes contact withyou, she’ll rip into you with a series of slicesthat will, almost certainly, kill you. The bestthing you can do is roll far out of her way(preferrably to the side) when you see her charge. So, to repeat, the best way to avoid the megaattacks is to roll to one of her sides when yousee her charge.Use these evasion techniques, along with the calmwrestling technique (no button mashing, a simple”A”, “B” + “B” will do), and you’ll defeat this”tough” boss with relative ease.Once the lady has been defeated, collect yourmoney and walk into the red star.DestroymanNext Entry Fee: $250,000Upon leaving your room you’ll learn that “GoldTown” (bar, indicated by the yellow icon with thebeer on it) is now open, as is “Beef Head” (videostore, indicated by the yellow icon behind themotel). There will also be a new job available foryou at the Job Center.Upgrade and gather the money as you wish.Personally, I visited the Thunder Ryu Building toimprove my strength and purchased Power Up-1 formy Tsubaki to improve my weapon. I earned money bycompleting Job Misson 03, Gig 05 and Gig 06.Once you have the $250,000, deposit it at the ATM,return to your room, and save. Exit, then ride tothe flashing yellow “VII” icon.Upon entering the subway, head left to collectTrading Card No. 016 from the chest, then stepinto the “!”.Head downstairs, grab Trading Card No. 017, thenstep into the next “!”.Work your way down the train, fighting enemies asyou go. Walk into the “!” at the end.Grab Trading Card No. 018, then move up the stairsat the end. Move around the corner for TradingCard No. 019, then step into the next “!”. Runforward to the next one, and you’ll find yourselfback outside.Checkpoint.Run forward and enter Bear Hug studios to yourleft. Grab Health, then enter the building. Dukeit out with the grunts inside. Begin with those onthe catwalk above, otherwise they’ll shoot down atyou, then pick off those below. Per usual, thelast ones you’ll deal with are a bit tougher, butnothing you can’t handle. Exit out the open door. Before entering the next building, head left andcollect Trading Card No. 020. Take out the meninside, just as you did before. You may care topractice your wrestling moves on them, as doing soseems to do them in faster. Exit out, grab fromthe Health Crate, then enter the next building. Here will be your toughest fight. You’ll beagainst guns and triple katanas, galore. Take outthose with guns first, then focus on the katanaenemies. Roll to evade the katana boys, and useyour wrestling moves to get rid of them as fast aspossible. Once clear, your phone will ring. Answerit, then exit for your Crates, your new wrestlingmove, your save, and your entrance to the battle.Fighting DestroymanThere isn’t a trick to taking out Destroyman asthere was with Shinobu. No, with Destroyman it’s amatter of evading his many, many attacks, thenmoving in when you get the opportunity.Destroyman will have several charge attacks. Asafe rule to abide by is to roll anytime hecharges.and keep rolling until he unleashes. Hemay shoot a blue ball your way. Roll to evade. Hemay send a yellow beam (or two) your way. As longas you’re blocking, you’ll automatically deflectit. He may send an electric charge your way. It’sshort, and easy to avoid. He may pound the ground. As long as you a rolling, and aren’t standing nextto Destroyman, you won’t be effected. Both Destroyman’s electric and pound attacks willprovide you with a solid opportunity to move inand take a shot. While he’s projecting hiselectricity forward, roll around to one of hissides and begin slashing. When he’s recoveringfrom his ground pound, move in and start whacking.Get as many hits as you can in until Destroymanbegins to block, at which point you should rollaway, then begin the process again. If you canbring forth a starry daze, wrestle him for a goodamount of damage. With that being said, Beatattacks didn’t work for me, and I was only able tostun him a couple of times with the traditionalslice attacks. When Destroyman’s meter is down about 1/3 of theway, he’ll hover above you and shoot blue ballsyour way. When this happens, stop blocking and runfor one of the yellow flashing lights. Destroy itand an item will fall from above. Hopefully thatitem will be Destroyman. If it’s not, try the nextyellow light. (Note, the one to the right of theBattery Crate gave me the most success).Once the big guy is back on the ground, he’ll havea new and dangerous charge move: The blue beam. When Destroyman emits the blue beam, your onlycourse of action needs to be to roll either rightor left, and keep rolling until the beam isretracted. If the beam hits you, you’re going tobe hurting.Other than that, Destroyman’s attacks remain thesame as before, providing you the opportunity toattack him as before.Overall, this can be a long battle, as you do needto be patient. However, if you can maintain thatpatience and not get too trigger happy, you shouldbe able to eliminate Destroyman with relative ease.Once Destroyman falls, collect the treasure, thenwalk into the red star.Holly SummersNext Entry Fee: $300,000Upon leaving your room you’ll learn that a new jobavailable for you at the Job Center.Upgrade and gather the money as you wish.Personally, I visited the Thunder Ryu Building toimprove my strength. Ride to the flashing yellow “VI”icon, then step into the red star to begin.Clear out the first section of the beach. Perusual, keep your block on, as many will have guns.Grab Trading Card No. 021, then, once all havebeen eliminated, slash open the barb wire fence.Clear out the next area, grab Trading Card No. 22from the chest next to the lifeguard stand, thenbust through the fence.Again, in the third area, eliminate all enemiesand grab Trading Card No. 23. Do be aware thatblocking fire from the machine guns takes a tollon your katana’s battery, so use the batterychests as necessary. Bust through the fence.Immediately head left and walk in the water toreach the coin chest. If you do not take thisroute, you’ll take damage from a few mines. Slipinto the next area, eliminate the grunt, the popthe three who follow. Collect Trading Card No. 24from the chest across from the fence, then movethrough the fence.Answer your phone, then wind your way through thebarriers and move up the stairs (stay right tomove past the obstacle). At the top, collectTrading Card No. 25, which is just past the “Save”point, then to the left. Refill Health andBattery, learn a new wrestling move, save, thenwalk into the “!” to begin the rumble.Fighting Holly SummersHolly Summers is here to prove again that theladies may be the toughest of your foes. From the beginning of this battle you’ll run intotrouble.a sandpit. You’ll encounter thesethroughout the battle. If you fall into a sandpit, then follow the onscreen prompt to quickly pullyourself out before taking damage. It isn’t hardto avoid taking damage, but the pits areobnoxious, so it’s best to avoid them. The easiestway to do this is to run along the water whenapproaching the lady from afar, as she won’t makepits in the water. The other thing you should do(and what you should be doing most often) is toalways remain fairly close to her.not too close,as you’ll take damage if you’re too close, but acouple of rolls or steps away will best serve yourpurposes.Holly’s second attack is a triple projectile toss.Your katana will sometimes protect you from it,other times, you won’t be so lucky. Truthfully, itdoesn’t do much damage, but, when every hitcounts, do your best to avoid it by rolling rightor left anytime you see the charge. Note, Ms.Summers is most vulnerable after this attack, so,once she unleashes, quickly move in and starthacking away.Holly’s third attack his her nastiest, and that’sher missile attack. You’ll be able to see itcoming as it is prefaced with a charge (as is thetriple projectile) and an upper body twist. Thebest way to evade the missle attack is to rollright or left two to three times immediately afteryou see it launch. The missile attack, by the way,is the primary reason why you don’t want to crowdHolly. If you see a charge, back up and give herroom. If the missile attack launches while you’reon top of her, you’ll be hurting. So, you know how to best avoid damage.but how doyou best inflict damage? Again, the key is toremain close to Holly, but not too close. Neverapproach her while she’s charging, as you won’t beable to land a hit. However, the second that youevade her attack, move in and slash her with allyou have. Per usual, it’s hard to get a BeatAttack in, but, eventually regular hits will makeher dizzy. Take advantage of that moment andwrestle her to the ground for a decent amount ofdamage (I got two wrestles in). When Holly runs, do your best to stay close andrun after her. When she stops, she’ll bevulnerable. Get a few hits in. Watch as sheapproaches a hole. If she sticks her shovel in theground, she’s going to cover the hole, again, leaving her vulnerable. Get as many hits in as youpossibly can.The battle with Holly is a tedious and oldfashioned one. Avoid attacks, keep your distance, remain patient, and strike when you get an opening. Finally, a little trick to getting double healthin this level has to do with that first pit youfall into. If you collect from the Health Chestbefore falling into that first pit, you’ll find itback in place upon returning to high ground. Thismeans, if you can avoid falling into a pit for abit and do some battling with Holly, you cancollect from the Health Chest once, then, once youfall into the pit, collect from it again. This israther tricky, as avoiding the sandpits is hard. Isuggest going after Holly initially via the waterline. Once you reach her, fight her as you wouldnormally, but don’t follow her if she runs far.Once she does run far, make your way to the chest(again, via the water line), and recover anydamage taken. From here, fight her as you normallywould and grab Health again when needed.Once the battle is over, you’ll find yourselfcarrying Holly’s body. Just go about your businessas you normally would, grab your money, collectthe item next to the chest for the “US MilitarySecret”, then walk into the red star. Answer the phone, then run up those stairs. Grab Trading Card No.034, Trading Card No. 035, the wrestling mask, andany Health you need. Save, then walk into the “!”.Fighting Harvey Moiseiwitsch VolodarskiiWhile the battle against Harvey can be a long one,it’s one of the easier battles you’ll encounter. The reason is because there’s no real trickery toit.it’s just a matter of getting a strike inwhen you can.Harvey has two main attacks. First, he can shootdoves in your direction. When this happens, youshould be able to spot the birds before they are athreat to you, and easily roll out of their path.Do watch out for the occasional stray bird Harveymay send your way moments after the initial flockis sent your way.Harvey’s second attack, his katana spin, is harderto avoid.and does a good amount of damage. Whenyou see Harvey break into this outstretched fullbody spin, the best thing you can do is unlockfrom him and run. Run in the direction where youcan travel the farthest, as the attack covers alot of distance.Otherwise, Harvey’s attacks are pretty normal. He’ll do so sword slashing. Since he’s a magicianhe’ll disappear and reappear. Nothing you can’thandle. The best time to hit Harvey is after one of histriple sword slashes. He’ll remain in a lungedposition, giving you the perfect opportunity tostrike from behind. Get as many hits as you canin, and watch for the stars, as wrestling moves dothe most damage. There will be other times when Harvey holds upboth of his swords, where you can go in for aquick jab, or hit him from behind. The key to thisbattle is patience. He’s not hard to defeat aslong as you only go after him when you have anopening. If you go for a hit and he blocks you, roll away, or expect damage.Note, when you whittle his bar down to abouthalfway Harvey will start randomly flipping theroom on you. I suggest staying away from him inthis confused state, as it will flip back withinseconds. When his bar is down to about a quarter,he’ll start performing magic tricks. Follow theprompts (shake the Wiimote, shake the nunchuk, ortap “A”), or face certain death.Once Harvey is out of commission, collect yourreward and walk into the glowing star.Speed BusterNext Entry Fee: $450,000Upon leaving your room you’ll learn that a new jobavailable for you at the Job Center.Upgrade and gather the money as you wish. Instead, whatyou must do, is travel up the road ahead, whileavoiding the red ray that comes charging down atyou. This is done by ducking into the open areasand along the sides. Sometimes these open areaswill be small alcoves, where you’re just using thewall in front of your for cover, sometimes they’llbe buildings, and sometimes they’ll be, well, openareas. The key to successfully making it down the streetis to make use of your map. You will see on themap of the street small boxes off to the right andleft. These are your doorways/protected areas.Speaking of doorways, the ones that can be bustedopen are marked on your map with a small dot.Knowing this will also help you make your way downthe street. Do note, however, sometimes the dotsrepresent enemies. Eliminate them as you come tothem (if they push you out onto the street, doeverything you can to roll behind a barrier beforebeing slammed). If you are slammed, quickly tap “A” to bereleased. Duck behind the nearest barrier, refillyour Battery, and try, try again.Note, Trading Card No. 040 is in an open areaalong the left side, near the end. To get to ityou’ll have to bust open the door just past it,then work your way back to it.As you approach the end of the road you’ll seethere are no more open area to duck into. The lastone on the right is a back alley of sorts whereyou’ll have to fight 5-6 grunts. The last openarea on the left (across from the open area to theright), is also an alley of sorts. This one hasonly two enemies and a Health Crate. Also note, this last open area on the left has a telephonepole to which you can do damage. There are many, so keep an eyeon your battery life.particularly when you getto the grunts with guns. If necessary, run fromtheir bullets to fill up your battery. Also, besure to roll out of their line of fire, even whenyou’re successfully blocking the bullets. If youdon’t do this, they’ll run you out of katana juiceand you’ll be left helpless.I worked my way around the stadium clockwise andcollected Trading Card No. 041, Trading Card No.043, and Trading Card No. 042 from the wall.Upon defeating all of the enemies the “!” willappear. Save, then walk into the “!” tobegin your battle.Fighting Bad GirlBad Girl should be one of the easiest fights youhave. It may be among the longest, as there are noreal tricks to it and you have to knock her healthdown the old fashioned way, but it’s not hard toavoid taking much damage.Bad Girl uses a bat as her weapon. All you must dois remain out of it’s way when it’s swinging atyou. Per usual, she’ll usually swing, or do aseries of swings, then lunge. She’ll pause afterthe lunge, giving you the opportunity to move inbehind her and get a couple of hits in.Occasionally you’ll get lucky and stun her (expectit only 2-3 times per battle), at which point youshould take advantage of your new wrestling move.Besides Bad Girl’s swings (and, even, chargedswings), she has two more attacks you must evade.First, there’s the conveyer belt. Watch as BadGirl will run to the belt and swing one of thefalling victims your way. Evade, as the personwill do damage if they hit you, then destroy them.Usually she’ll send 2-3 your way.Bad Girl’s second big attack is particularlynasty, as it will kill you if you get caught init.even if you have full health. Luckily, it’seasy to avoid. Occasionally Big Girl will opt tofall to the ground. She’ll sit there slumped overlooking completely helpless. Don’t fall for it.When you see this happen, run far, far away fromher. If you happen to find yourself within bat’slength while she’s in this position, she’ll tripyou and beat you to death. Lovely. When the lady gets down to about 1/4 health she’lllight her bat on fire. Once this happens yournumber one priority must be avoiding contact withthat bat. Obviously your katana can hit it, but,if it makes contact with your body, you’ll findyourself burning, and your health will disappearrapidly. Luckily, it’s not hard to avoid being hit.Upon defeating Bad Girl collect your treasure, your vitality increase, and walk into the glowingstar.???Next Entry Fee: $550,000Upon leaving your room you’ll learn that a new jobavailable for you at the Job Center.Upgrade and gather the money as you wish.
