He’s fairly decent at picking up on it, especially if someone is actually making moves. I’d say he finds it hard to miss. Raum isn’t the kind of person to let others close to him in certain ways without approval, and how he views interactions is quite compartmentalized — he usually won’t mistake a flirty touch for something friendly, or vice versa, because there are clear boundaries for those in his mind.

I’d say the exception to this comes when dealing with someone who is unsure or timid about what they want. If someone gives him washy-washy signals, he will keep them at a certain distance until things become clear to him, regardless of how they might feel.

If someone is too shy to show or admit their attraction, then he will likely a) not notice their problem at all, or b) if it’s a bit more obvious, pretend not to notice and keep them at distance, like the wishy washy signal giver, torture them a bit until they can either give up (weak!) or pluck up their courage (fun!).
