Thanks for the ask fam! It took a little while, but here we are ^-^ and as usual, minimal straight answers from me ^-^'

5 - Favorite whump fic you've ever read?

Oh shit, this is a hard one... I personally find it extremely hard to choose a general favourite because I love many things a similar amount for different reasons ^-^

Like apples and oranges, I love them both equally but for their different flavours :3 It must be another manifestation of my indecision lmaooo so I'll list a few that have really stuck in my usually forgetful little brainmeats:

Symbiosis by my lovely friend @whump-cravings (I love a lot of thons stuff though, it was so hard to choose but I just love me a wet littol creechur uwu)

Your Kane and Jim! (Again, I'm in love with wet littol creechurs, but the flavour of torture you inflict on Kane, Kane and Jim's relationship to each other and the way it develops, and the way Jim deals with his trauma is absolutely wonderful and I always get excited when you tag me in a new chapter ^-^)

Magnanimous Moonrise and Savage Sunset by @not-a-space-alien (...We're seeing a pattern here ^-^' I also absolutely adore the crossovers between the two, including the current one <3<3 Beware the content warnings)

Everything was White by @lexosaurus (God I love their writing, especially of this fanfic, it is excellent, it's detailed, in-depth, and it's so engaging to read, I just have to get around to figuring out how to use Ao3 properly ^-^' Rest assured I adore it and it crosses my mind multiple times a week, beware the content warnings. I'll link this when I can, I have potential shoulder readers lmao)

12 - Favorite general whump trope?

Ok this one is slightly easier lmao

I love secret angst!

I use it as an umbrella for all the associated angst and whump that goes along with the whumpee having a secret, trying to keep it, and the dire, life-threatening consequences of it getting found out :)

This usually pairs best with a whumpee trying to hide their nonhuman characteristics as best they can, to their detriment, lest their human peers betray them and hunt them down to capture, torture, and kill them :)

This lends itself to a lot of dehumanisation, vampire whumpees, my own little belunae and demon creations, and also the Danny Phantom fandom (the phandom is absolutely merciless to the boi, but also super nice, just like us!)
