honestly anything related to paint. Spray paint, watercolour, oils, acrylic, all of those just seem so complicated to me, so I tend to avoid it. BUT the artworks people create with painty stuff always looks so amazing and it’s often the only medium you can use on certain surfaces like wood or brick (at least from what I’ve seen) so if you wanted to decorate a wall with a neat picture, good luck doing it without using paint at some point

also CARVED STATUES. How do you even. Like, my guy, you’re telling me that was a ROCK at some point??? UM NO IT WASN’T THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE, NO ONE COULD TURN A ROCK INTO A HUMAN BEING WITH A PRETTY FACE AND THE ILLUSION OF FLEXIBLE CLOTH, RIGHT???? RIGHT???????

#people who can carve rocks and wood into actual little dudes are all insane like how the FUCK #at least with painting there’s a way to fix mistakes #even if it is incredibly annoying and makes you regret being alive #when you’re carving a statue wtf are you gonna do summon an extra piece of marble outta the cracks??#tbh any medium outside of pencil seems like a nightmare to me probably because I exclusively use pencil #with digital art you gotta remember how the program works and get used to drawing on a screen #with clay you gotta mush stuff around and if it’s not the right consistency you won’t be able to bully the clay into the right shape #so complicated #artists are incredible #also thank you for the ask 🥚!!!
