It was a normal Friday night at the bar, people were streaming in and out, some stayed some didn't. It was usual at this time to be busy, but all you could really do was think of going home. Walking back, dragging my feet on the pavements of Newcastle, thinking of him.

You hated going to work when Johnny was home, wanting to savour every second of your time together. It seemed as if time was never on your side, making their tours drag on and their time at home fleeting.

But you couldn't dwell, realising that you'd been cleaning the same tankard for about twenty minutes you decided it was time for a fag break. You quickly headed for the back door where you could safely prop yourself against at a wall and smoke the thoughts away. It was funny actually because this was where you'd met him. He'd tried to escape his friends for a quick smoke and you'd hit it off. Thank the lord you didn't quit when you said you would!

Unfortunately you couldn't stay out there all night, so you picked yourself up from your melancholy state and made your way to the bar. "Y/n! Las go home I can see you pining for him, your not gonna get any work done" Steve chuckled nudging my side releasing me.

With that a tired smile emerged onto my face and I made as quick work as I could of my apron and hauled my coat on. The coat he forced me to wear, because it was 'too cold'.

The walk home seemed to quicker than usual and when you passed the Tyne bridge you smiled to yourself knowing you where nearly home.

When you unlocked the door, a deep sigh slipped out of your mouth, feeling comfort in your home. You walked up the stairs to your bedroom to Johnny as lazy as you like sprawled across the bed with his vinyl collection. He had drifted of at some point thinking I'd be home in hours.

Not wanting to disturb his slumber I softly changed out of my work clothes and into an old t-shirt of his. Clearing away the records off the bed and turning the lights off I slipped beneath the sheets covering him too.

I had left him in his tracked and baggie jumper so he was cozy and soft against my skin as I wriggled into him, feeling comfort I never had with anyone before. I took a deep breath filling my senses with him and snuggled my head in his neck.

"hey my angel" I heard him coo in my hair as his arms wrapped tightly around my body. Filling me with a sense of belonging and safety

"Hiya! Steve let me go early" I whispered wanting to maintain the softness of the atmosphere.

"I'm glad" he smiled into me, kissing my forehead quickly before we both drifted back to sleep in each others arms.

I took one look at it and thought, “Oh, Seb’s being interviewed. But what kind of interview could make him smile like that?” Then it hit me.

Not for the first time, actually more like for the millionth time, Sebastian Moran wondered exactly what the hell he was doing as he rode the lift to the offices of Lonelyhearts Inc. After countless first dates that went nowhere, his best friend had recommended a professional matchmaker.

It’s only because I trust Molly’s judgment so much that I’m even doing this, Seb thought. Thoughts of the pathologist made him smile for the first time that day. He was still grinning when he entered the office of the company’s owner, Ms. Valerie N. Tyne.

She stood, smiling, as he entered and offered him her hand, which he shook. “Aren’t you a handsome one? Your photo didn’t do you justice, Mr. Moran.”

“Thank you. And Sebastian, please.”

“Then call me Valerie. Please, have a seat.” When they were both seated, she brought up his file on her laptop then turned to him. “Tell me about your ideal woman.”

“Petite, brunette, brown eyes, maybe a few years younger than me,” he said without hesitation, unable to help the widening smile on his face. Seb winced when he realized that his preference described Molly to a T. So she’s my type, that doesn’t mean anything. “I also like women who are cheerful, to the point of bubbly, but fiercely loyal and strong.” God, still Molly. I’m not in love with my best friend. I’m not.

Valerie smiled at him sympathetically. “You don’t ask for much, do you? No wonder you’re having a hard time finding the right one. I have a few candidates lined up, but I think I’ll go with the most likely one first. Come back here tomorrow at noon, I’ll introduce you. If you like her, I’ve made reservations at her favorite restaurant for lunch.”

“Sounds fair.” He left the office feeling hopeful about his love life for the first time in ages.

“What are you going to wear?” Molly asked before putting a spoonful of Phish Food in her mouth. They were sitting on the sofa in her sitting room, watching telly. It had become their Wednesday night ritual – take-away, telly, and ice cream.

Seb shrugged. “Whatever’s clean and not too wrinkled.” He ate a spoonful of his Cherry Garcia.

Molly rolled her eyes. “You are trying to impress this woman, right? Wear something blue, it’ll bring out your eyes. Your best jeans show off your arse, wear them.”

He raised an eyebrow, smirking. “Since when do you check out my arse?”

She waved her spoon in dismissal. “We’re not discussing me, we’re discussing you. You have to look your best. Oh, and don’t forget that cologne I gave you for your birthday.”

“Spicebomb,” he said, smiling a bit. The citrus, spices, and leather scent came in a bottle shaped like a grenade. Seb had seen it as Molly accepting enough of his violent past (and present, if I’m honest) to laugh with him over such a gift. And he had to admit that it did smell good on him.

She nodded. “Have a good time and even if it doesn’t work out, at least you tried.”

“Right.”

He heard the familiar giggle before he even saw her face. Molly?

She looked up when he came into Valerie’s office, her face showing all the surprise he was feeling. “Seb?”

Valerie grinned at both of them. “You already know each other? Then why aren’t you dating?”

“We’re … um …” Molly started.

“We’re best friends,” Seb said, feeling sheepish. “We never talked about doing anything else.”

“Well, it’s obvious that you should.” She gave them each a gentle shove towards the door. “Go. Lunch is waiting.”

They were in the cab on the way to Angelo’s when he decided to break the awkward silence. “I thought you said you stopped going to Lonelyhearts Inc.”

She laughed quietly. “No, um, Valerie told me she’d let me know when she found the right bloke. That was six months ago. You’re the first man she’s told me about.”

He raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “How did you describe your perfect man?”

“Tall, built, ginger, blue eyes, heart of gold under a grumpy exterior, protective to a fault.” She grinned. “In short, you. I, um, take it you described me as your perfect woman?”

“In every detail,” he confirmed, grinning back. “Valerie deserves a bonus for taking the initiative.” He moved closer, raising one hand to her chin to tilt her head up just enough for him to kiss her softly.

For the record, Valerie considered the wedding invite she received three months later to be the perfect bonus.

So I just wanted to know a little about the pay brackets with motorcycle. Im not talking specific numbers cause I know to just get a quota for that. My friends got an 02 Acura RSX 5 speed and he pays like $600/month and the car has some engine mods. We are both 17 except he has a couple tickets. I called 3 different insurance companies and they all quoted me around $750 a month. the car in question was a 76 Chevrolet Camaro with an automatic trans and 350ci v8 (though the vin would probably indicate a 267ci v8) why is the newer car cheaper to insure? with a manual trans? kids these days dont appreciate the old cars like I do and stick with Honda and Acuras and those are the ones I actually see getting wrecked. I wouldn't get full coverage on the old car because if it were to wreck i'd just get another as they aren't worth fixing and are a dime a dozen it's not really a rare classic car. I understand that engine size might be a factor. The rsx is lighter and has a smaller engine but the Camaro is much heavier with a bigger engine. Would a z28 cost more? (already upgraded to 350 and upgraded suspension from factory) I didn't ask the insurance on that. What about the Pontiac Firebird of the same years? (70's to '81) it shares a similar setup. When I ask the insurance people how they calculate their rates they say its the area and experience of the driver but me and my friend live in the same area, he's had his license longer but has tickets. They said water was in the motor, fuse boxes, everything was ruined supposedly. I said to hell with it, and had to come up with 2,600 to pay off the remaining part of the loan, and then go buy another car. Last year, I seen my car in the next town over. Same vin number, same paint chipped bumper, same fist mark behind the passenger door. I was mad, but blew it off. Then, I seen it on a buy sell trade site and decided to inquire about the details. The guy bought it for $800 and didn't have to fix anything on it except for what I needed to fix before the flood (window regulator, wheel baring, and new tires). He told me he thought I had committed insurance fraud to get a pay out from them. So, I called my old insurance company, and the lady took all my information down and gave me the adjustor's number, the adjustor's supervisor's number, and the fraud department's number. I called the adjustor, left a message, and then filed a claim with the fraud department. They said to expect a call from them next week. What exactly happens in a case like this?? I don't expect a hefty payout or anything, but still, I've never known anyone who had this happen to them, but I do know people who committed insurance fraud. Now, I know my car insurance rates are high because I'm young and a guy, but here's the problem. I see people who are about my same age who have been driving for the same amount of time as and have no accidents, violations, or tickets like me. My car insurance rates are ridiculously high, I mean insanely high, even compared to others my age. My younger brother even, he's had his license for a year, he's 19, and had 3 speeding tickets and still pays less than me. On average for my car insurance rates, getting quotes online range from about $1500 all the way up to $2500 for 6 months! I used old vehicles, new vehicles, safe vehicles, unsafe vehicles, every kind of car/truck you could imagine and my projected rates are still through the roof. For example, for full coverage with the minimum amounts and highest deductibles, my insurance on a 2010 Mazda 3 would be about $1800-$2300 for 6 months. However, I also got a quote for a 1997 Ford Escort and the same exact coverage is still $1200-$1300. I don't get why my rates are so much higher. A coworker of mine is 21 years old, not married, no tickets, and has had his license since 18 like me, and he has a 2007 Mazda 6 and he only pays about $170 a month, which translates to about ~$1050 for 6 months. I put in my information including SSN on the same company's web site that he uses (Geico) and my insurance rates are about $1700 for 6 months. So my question is why are my insurance rates so high? I was in an accident last month in my brand new Volvo (not even a month old!). I was rear-ended, while I was at a stop sign. My daughter received a DUI a while back, as she put the car in 'Drive' (instead of 'Reverse') and drove through the side of a restaurant. Hi I have accidently damaged another car parked in private car park. I have been touch with the owner who has very kindly agreed to get her car repaired and not to go through insurance but she is insisting to get it repaired from garage of her choice who are charging double the amount of original cost. My first question is do I still need to inform my insurance company even though I have not given her any of my details yet. I am happy to get it repaired rather then loosing 10 year no claim bonus.
