The one way to figure out whether or not Selma sees someone as an established friend, or a potential friend and ally is to pay attention to just how much time is invested by the other. While at times coming off as harsh, in the broader sense she's warm and that warmth is given to all, especially those the witch considers near and dear to her. Beyond that, of course there is a general sense of politeness that she can't, and very much refuses to shake. To Selma friends are simply extended family, those that she has chosen to dedicate her time, effort, attention and love to and is willing to protect, no matter what. Come hell or high water.

To my Golden Star

First and foremost, I want to inform you that this letter need your time to read because my dear fella it is way too long to express my thoughts. If you want to continue reading then I'd appreciate it so much and THANK YOU. I'd just like to share my words of wisdom (LOL) and my gratitude towards our birthday boy. I'd like to share my thoughts through this letter coming from the bottom of my heart. September 1, 1997 A golden boy was born to make a girl heart's burst, he who has a beautiful muscular body yet has a catchy smiling eye and a melting gaze was known to be one and only Jeon Jung-kook and a native satoori of Busan and now living in the busy city of Hannam-dong, Seoul. Though he may not pursue his dream of becoming a great badminton player, but he was given a wisdom to create and build an artistry image through his talent of arts which he build up in the Seoul's School of Performing Arts and graduated as an arts high schooler. But then again his career may have a lot of corners to end it. When the year 2011 came, our beloved creature gave Jungkook another path to take, He then auditioned for the South Korean talent show 'Superstar K', though he was not selected, he recieved offers from seven entertainment companies but our golden boy chose Big Hit Entertainment after seeing our very own leader RM. Before we even saw our golden boy dances gracefully with his BTS family, he appeared one of Jo Kwon MV which is I'm Da One. He also happen to be one of the back up dancer of the group Glam.

Finally 2013 came, June 13, 2013 became a legendary date for him it is because that day was his momentum together with his BTS family, they finally debuted as an rising star idol with the single 2 Cool 4 Skool.

Well, Jungkook took a lot of steps to enter such an trilling yet memorable experience in his life. He took a chance to share his path with us through his musics. He then released his first solo 'Begin' which talks about how he ended up being an Idol and to be with his members. He also took a chance to share his interest in a chill yet bassful music with his second solo track which is 'Euphoria'.

Through his years in the industry which gave him a wheel to turn ups and down, he did not change his mind set but he continued on producing his thoughts through melody, he showed how deep his passion in working through his graceful dances, he also gave his heart warming message through listen to their music.

He turned hundred of pages of his journey with his six supportive members. He may be the youngest but mind us fellas, he is the great golden maknae of the squad which gave happiness over loniless, shared lively stages over dull cameras, he even put his shoes over hectic schedules, he shed lot of tearful momentus, he filled out our galleries with lot of memes and heart busting photos.

Calculating doesn't even fit in his dictoniary despite of how much or how many calendars of hectic activities he had just to give us the meaning of 'A Moment To Remember'. Sometimes he feel tired, feel lonely, he even feel like passing out, he also experienced dosing out his energy and tried to hide his tears but despite of all those challenges, he had still showed to us how passionate he was given us.

Me myself can't even say how thankful I am to be part of this family called ARMY. I am not a Jungkook bais but I have no doubt I still love him as who he was right now. Once a song said 'You showed me I have reason I should love myself...' and thats greatly impact to my life and Jungkook took a part of it. He/they inspired me to do more, thay motivate me to dig dipper, they thought me not jump of that cliff when everything goes wrong.

I know this is not enough to say thank you but atleast I want to share/show how greatful I am to witness and being a part of this huge squad, family rather.

To the Golden Star of our Family,

Yes, I'm just an ordinary young girl called fan, but I'll give my assurance that I'm part of this family called Adorable Representative MC of the Youth, in short, ARMY.

I am also 100% sure that you don't even know that I exist in this world but I'll give you my word that I'm always be with this squad.

And we both know that colliding each parallel world will never happen even in a single mathematical equation, maybe it will have the same path but never in my wildest dream that it will cross each path.

Maybe once we've met, we hold each other hand, we deeply hug each other, we shared smiles but the sadest part is that it took me an hour to meet you and in a minute I realized it happened between the walls of reality. In short, Its just a dream. Well I'm happy to dreamt that kind of fantasy.

Whenever I listen to your melody I always realized how such a wonderful artists are the bts. Your music help me a lot, I mean listen to it whenever I feel so down and it keeps me motivated, It makes my night relaxing, it also makes my surrounding lively when I feel so lonely... and your music had been part of my everyday routine.

I am very thankful that you've been part of this family, and I think if you weren't there, if you weren't a member of BTS, I think it will not be called BANGTAN SEONYONDAN. You guys, everyone of you completed a puzzle.

I also want to get the opportunity to say this to you my dear golden star...,

I wish that you won't get tired on giving us such wonderful melody in our life, I also wish that you will stay healthy and a good looking Jungkook yet manly cookie of our squad. May you have a bountiful blessing, and I also wish that you can still make a lot of beautiful and memorable moments with BANGTAN and also with us, the ARMY. May the heavenly father give you strength and light in every journey you take.

🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?

Apart from the alchemy tome and the picture of her and her closest friends there is only one thing Selma considers a treasure from her childhood. A doll, given to her on Christmas before they moved to England. Even though the witch barely remembers much of the area they lived in, she does recall the few things in the fondest light. Losing either of those things would be devastating as they are a reminder of where she came from, who she is and far she's come. The only time Selma could see herself without the photograph of her and her friends would be if said friendship would be as lost as the image itself and that's something she's not going to let happen, ever.

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

While Selma isn't much of a person dealing with the irrational sort of fear she does fear things that seem almost all too natural to the witch. For one, there is nothing she fears more than those she cares for getting hurt without a chance to help or do anything about it. The loss of family and friends seems almost too heavy to deal with and yet is becoming something more and more real with the progression of a war just outside the doorsteps of nearly every home. As for the fear some may consider irrational, varying with just who one may ask, Selma Avery fears the discovery of the secret her parents, and by extension her, are keeping regarding the blood status and purity of her. Ever since her parents opened up to her about the fact that her entire existence is a lie and, to them either way, a fact no one should ever know about, it's become a thing the blonde does not dare ever even think about, knowing fully well that within the circles they walk it would destroy their reputation.

❇️ SPARKLE - what is their most prized possession? what do they value?

Selma's most prized possession is an old tome on alchemy and its powers of transformation. She found the book within the Avery manor library, tucked away between stacks upon stacks of books and although she understood nothing written within its pages back then, she fell in love with the shapes and forms and diagrams as well as the other images within it. It wouldn't be until years later that she'd actually slowly start to understand the words on the pages and with each page becoming clearer to her, her love for alchemy and transfiguration grew. The Ravenclaw very much links both together, seeing the benefit in it as a whole. Tucked away between its pages is a photograph of Selma, Pandora and Regulus, taken were children shortly after she'd arrived in England. While the witch isn't entirely of a material-loving nature, the treasure items that have come and gone along the path certainly have added to who she eventually became as a person. Through both the book and her friendship her sheer amount of creativity was boosted, allowing her the confidence to venture forward an explore territories she may not have ventured into prior to it. All in all, those things have cemented her wish to venture down the path of an alchemist or healer; wishing to create, shape and mend.

🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?

If there was something Selma could tell herself it would be to prepare herself. To hold everything she loves dear and to enjoy herself as much as possible before life gets serious and takes a turn for the worse. To treasure each moment spend without worrying about the future. At the end of the day she yearns for the days she spent without the feeling of a gilded cage and wishes she would have figured out who she truly is much, much earlier.

🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?

However sad it may be, Selma has become incredibly good at lying. Due to the burden she carries, the witch has become rather adept both at keeping secrets as well as figuring out the tells of another all so that she can have a slightly easier time holding onto her own secrets even in those dark moments when they threaten to spill. On bad days, perhaps one could tell that they is something hidden underneath but even then, to the untrained eye it simply appears to be the stress of her attempt to be the image of perfection and control.

🎭 MASKS

🎭 MASKS - do they act differently around certain people? what's different between the way they act around friends, family, strangers, etc.?

While Selma very much knows who she is, her behavior is adjusted based on whomever she is dealing with that day. Friends such as Pandora and Regulus get to see the real Selma, without much chipped away or hidden behind a mask. Apart from that one big secret the witch is determined to wear to the ends of the earth, they both know her as the exact witch she is and always has been. Around her parents she behaves like the daughter they need; the one to live up to expectations, ever attempting to be something she is not and never will be. Ever since the secret had been made clear to her, she's walked through life with a burden that she is determined to carry by herself. While her parents may shoulder some of it, it still pushes her to wear a mask at times even around them. Around other purebloods of the sacred 28 Selma behaves like the typical pureblood daughter, raised properly and with manners and skills that will make her a suitable match. The mask is always on around people like the Regulus' family as well as most of the stricter sacred 28.

hc + 🐈 for a pet/animal-themed headcanon

All her life Selma's only had one pet and that was her beloved Eurasian eagle owl named Achilles. While that is plenty to keep her occupied, though, an owl is never a pet one can have around for most of the day. With most the days spent in the owlery, Achilles is a far shot away from being the most hug-able pet. If Selma had the choice, she'd be getting a cat to accompany her during her adventures. Ever since she was little the witch's been hoping for a cat, feeling much more connected to that idea than just having an owl. Now, she adores her owl but a cat and an owl cannot be compared beyond their nature as creatures that like to hunt.

🥞 PANCAKE - what is their comfort breakfast?

Selma doesn't often go for something like comfort food or breakfast but if she had to pick something that she could go for any day of the week, and that in return brings some comfort, it would have to be french toast. As classic and cliche as it may be for for someone, it does bring out her sweet tooth just a little bit. Other than that, one could probably find her sipping a hot chocolate during breakfast as she prefers that to accompany the coffee she consumes to make it through the day. Lacking comfort food to instead replace it all with food that is comfortable.
