the fun thing about TMNT being my latest fixation is that my 7 year old brother is totally down to talk about and draw ninja turtles with me
#i get the youngest two off the school bus a few days a week bc my mom has to pick up my other brother from high school at the same time#and the 11 year old goes straight to her room#but the 7 year old likes to hang out downstairs and needs supervision bc he knows where we keep the nesquik.........#we both love mlnecraft so we talk about that a lot#but he ALSO thinks the concept of ninja turtles is really fun and silly so hes down to talk about it#he also likes my random turtle facts#(he gives me geography facts in exchange. little nerd)#we have a collaborative tmnt oc named 'piss turtle'#but we call it 'the yellow one' in front of adults#(this is fine bc he is hilariously anti-cussing otherwise. hes only okay with saying 'piss' when no one is around to hear him but me lmao)#(he goes 'HEY. STOP' whenever someone cusses in front of him otherwise)#we came up with a lot of silly lore for this character though#when we originally came up with the concept he drew a picture depicting piss turtle#and i miiiight be working on drawing the character. just bc it seemed funny + i think my brother will enjoy it lol#but yeah being into a franchise like tmnt is great bc it appeals to my youngest sibling#meaning it's like super easy to keep him entertained just by explaining ninja turtle lore to him and showing him screenshots#teetles
