Prepared all the vegetables separately as sides I've grown amazing at making that people pile their plates high with individually. Best damn cottage pie I've ever had. All five other ones I've made are just awful in comparison. I've really carved out my own Tex-Mex Chinese Fusion niche and I'm very proud of that. It means a lot when your very culinarily talented almost MIL and her husband greedily shovel your food down their gullets, not to mention your own beloved. He used to hate vegetables until I started preparing them for him. I just can't stop beaming about that. And he barely used to let me cook because I was so experienced I've come so far I'm better than him now how bout that sucker! student became the sensei :) I teach him things now and it is lovely because he loves to cook as well oh i love him so much
