The thing is that I often refuse to say or accept things even as a joke bc I perceive the ideological implications. Any take that isn’t true will have bad ideological implications by definition. Which is also why something being the truth is also always important to recognize simply by virtue of it being the truth. It only “doesn’t matter” when you (or I btw I’m included in this generic-you, it’s not like I’m omniscient) don’t see how it matters but it always does down the line bc anything that is not true will at some point be incoherent with reality

#everything is connected do you get it #it’s like a sudoku.#you can put a random number in a case and for a while keep going and it works #the incoherence isn’t immediately perceptible #but eventually it won’t. there is only 1 possibility with no incoherence and that’s reality #moralgayness #i say this and then love fiction (incoherent with reality by definition) but idk I’m talking about takes not just anything #takes as in opinions #could I give examples? ok fine #the ‘i hate men’ joke sentiment #just saw the ‘potterheads grab your wands’ post and one addition was like ‘this is why all fandoms belong in the trash’#even if it was said in a joking manner #i Perceive the ideological implication and am strongly against them #when ppl see someone’s immutable identity as either a moral take or irrelevant #it doesn’t MEAN anything in itself but it is meaningful and important bc it exists connected to everything else and is the truth #when ppl make simplifications to dismiss someone’s opinion #simplifications that are logically fallacious ofc. like [x] doesn’t necessarily mean [y]#and like obviously it’s literally impossible to add all the nuance in everything you say #not every problem is someone’s fault #but yeah
