#maybe if i accept that i don't love the club as much as i love their rich history contribution to football -> Honestly, it's probably for the best. When I started watching more Barca games in 2007, my friend who was a longtime Culer warned me that the nature of the club was cultish and neurotic, and that really helped temper expectations going forward. Of the fanbase, I would add "histrionic and delusional". Nowadays, I refer to that place as "the Catalan snakepit" in banter.

you have no idea how comforting your words are to me— been feeling like a glory hunter for a while now as i keep finding myself going back to pep's era of barça while nothing afterwards moves me much, but you put into words why certain aspects of the club and the culture surrounding it, especially after cruyff's departure, simply don't appeal to me
