Needs A Title...
The sound of chewing snapped me out of this incredible dream I was having about a redhead in a convertible, a glossy red Ferrari with camel leather interior and custom chrome wheels with the high performance, low-profile tires. I just wanted to drive it around the block four or five times and see what it could do, maybe hit the open road and really open it up. In my dream, I was just about to ask the redhead to scooch on over and then sit in the driver’s seat when I heard the loud gnashing sound. I could feel tingling and moisture on my arm, sharp teeth were tearing into my hand. Surprisingly, I couldn’t feel pain – I guess that’s the first stage of shock. I believe shock is appropriate when being chewed on by a very upset chipmunk. It serves me right for falling dead asleep in that old sagging oak tree in the middle of nowhere. The most important question I had at that time was not: what was a pissed off rodent doing snacking on my arm, but where were my pants?
Pants are strangely important when lost in the middle of nowhere. My keys, wallet, and a fancy pistol that I took from an exotic dancer named Mercedes were also missing. I’m hoping they were together, waiting for me, maybe huddled together. After kindly removing my bloody appendage from the chipmunk’s mouth, and scolding the little rat for taking advantage of a passed out traveler, I sat up and looked around. The tree was the same, but last time I checked Earth had a blue sky, not green, and we only had one moon not five. I think this situation might bump the pants down to priority two. The air smelled like rotten garbage mixed with old motor oil. The green sky was surprisingly clear and the five moons shone bright, lighting up the vast emptiness surrounding me. I’ve got an oak tree, a chipmunk, and no pants – what was in that last cocktail? This is either an incredibly vivid trip or the most elaborate hoax I’ve ever seen. I guess a distant third choice was that I wound up on some alien planet after having the most insane night ever. I think I’m going to have a flashback here…
Things had started normal enough: dinner at Jimmy’s Fine Italian dining with my buddy Sal, then out to Bubble’s club on the west side – where there was this amazing act involving a…chipmunk! I knew I had seen that little guy before – he does good work! From there I was just a passenger in Ms. Cheeky LaPoosh’s limo. Cheeky kept plying me with social lubricant to get me to talk about what I do for a living, but why would Cheeky be interested in a trauma monkey like me. I told her I worked the late shift at the Emergency Center on the south side, the one in the neighborhood where gunshot wounds were passed out like popsicles on a summer day at kid’s camp. My job as a surgeon was a lot like an Asian kid in a Nike sweatshop – keep on sewing and keep the stitching tight. I suppose I was getting good at it – made employee of the month in June. But that was all she was getting out of me, at least at that moment.
The limo stopped at a place called Flush and we all stumbled out. The bouncer recognized Cheeky and hurried us to a private booth in the back. And that’s when thing got interesting: a bottle of some unrecognizable liquid and 3-4 bags filled with an assorted rainbow of pills. I wasn’t the type to participate – I usually just watched and waited for someone to pass out, knowing first aid would be needed. I’m not sure if something fell into my drink or if it was deliberate, but I think I swallowed a green and a red, and maybe a blue. I do know that the room was spinning and I was either on the floor or the ceiling. I finally woke up in the back of the limo with Cheeky and Sal and 4-5 other people I didn’t recognize. A deep conversation about some pop psychology drivel was forming, something about hand washing and moral purity. The theory presented by the pleather couch brigade was that people who wash their hands frequently were more likely to be upstanding humans. Based on the amount of pills and alcohol consumed, this brood had certainly never washed their hands in their lives. But honestly, I couldn’t hear details over the roar of the freight train running through my head. Someone handed me a bottle of something and I drained it – thankfully it was only water. I leaned my head back against the window and closed my eyes.
I was startled awake by a gunshot and a scream, the smell of gunpowder was close so “we” must’ve done the shooting. Of course, the sound of the scream was also close, so “we” must’ve been shot! One of the girls with us, a delightful stripper stereotypically named after a luxury automobile, Mercedes had shot Sal in the leg for having inappropriate body boundaries, which is normally appropriate, but there may or may not have been a transaction or barter. Can’t say I blame her either way. But eight years as a trauma surgery in the nastiest hospital in the metro-area had prepared me for this moment. I doused the wound with a half-bottle of Vodka then used the ice cube grabber to dig into the wound to remove the bullet. My tie made a decent tourniquet and then my Armani shirt became a compress. Did you know that Armani uses a specific type of wool found only in one particular area of Italy known for its high-absorbance properties – in fact after a rain, the sheep usually can’t move because of the amount of rain they soaked up. Crisis averted, I took away the gun from Mercedes and stuffed it in my suit coat pocket – why did she need a .40 S&W pistol with custom grips, easy-pull trigger, and 16-round high-capacity magazine? I suppose there are those out there that would question why I wouldn’t need one. Although, the thought occurred to me that we do live in a rather violent time in a violent city with creepy guys like Sal around.
Sal was a little worn out at this point, wanting to go home. We dropped Sal off at his place, it was a dump – walking in you would think that the place was tossed by thieves looking for something, but no, Sal was just a slob. I made sure he was tucked in bed with some pain killers and the roaches. I figure I would check up on him tomorrow on the way to work. I glanced at the clock on the microwave while walking out the door, it screamed 3 A.M., plenty of night left.
I decided to hitch a ride back to my car with Cheeky. I had parked in a dimly light space on the second floor of the hospital parking garage. Cheeky invited me back to her place for a night cap. I figured it would be prudent to turn it down at this point and head home – plus after witnessing the shooting of my best friend, and the strange mixture of whatever I had taken earlier, I figured that would be the safest place for me.
Unlocking the door of my midnight black Mercedes-Benz AMG coupe, I sat in the plush leather sport seat for a moment to catch my breath. I had expected a simple dinner and maybe a few drinks, instead I wound up hanging out with a stripper queen named Cheeky, a gun wielding psycho, and had one hell of a headache. Time to go home, take some Tylenol, (yes, Doctors really recommend it) and go to bed!
I backed out of my space carefully. Despite my foibles, I was a fairly cautious driver, mostly. I cruised down the spiral to the garage exit. The road was empty, so I gave it a blast with my right foot. The twin turbo V-8 engine with excessive horses roared to life and left a decent strip of tire and smoke in my wake. The ridiculous zero-to-sixty time passed smoothly and the speedometer told me I hit 100 mph in around 6 seconds.
Yellow lines blurred into a paste smeared behind me as I cruised on the highway. I decided to take the long winding road, the path I rarely travelled. I had the speedo pegged at about 110 mph when a deer bound out into the middle of the road. Hitting anything at that speed is like running full speed into a brick wall – it’s going to hurt and something will break.
Blood splattered the windshield. I went off the road straight into a tree. I heard the bang, slam, and smelled the acrid smoke pouring out of the engine compartment. Hollywood would lead us to believe that the car would burst into flames at this point and then explode into a three-story fireball. Fortunately, fireballs don’t happen most of the time. The Mercedes was a crumpled mess. I survived, thank God for air bags, and opened the door – good engineering required that the door still be able to open in a catastrophic accident. The deer was in the middle of the road, writhing in pain.
I never shot anything before, but the poor bastard didn’t deserve to go out like this – suffering from grievous wounds. The .40 S&W was a powerful, highly accurate round – the bullet caught the deer just below the eye socket, leaving a small entry wound but the back of its skull was blown out onto the asphalt. I figure that was the most decent thing I’ve ever done in my life.
This is the point where I get a little fuzzy. I was standing there shaking from the crash and from putting the deer down and I remember a bright light. I heard a ringing in my ears and a loud sound like a bomb exploding – and no, it wasn’t the Mercedes exploding into a Bay-esque fireball, I checked.
And that’s when I woke up to being a chipmunk snack.
The green sky and the smell of the air had a disconcerting effect on my fragile mind. I had one weird night, but this was over the top. Where were my pants? I don’t swear much, but I feel that this circumstance warrants it. So I looked at the beautiful five moon sky and let out a stream of obscenities that would make a trucker blush.
Bearings. I needed to get my bearings. I was standing in a field next to an oak tree. The chipmunk was a sleep – maybe he was dead – I could only hope! I stretched my legs, after a nasty car crash you would think that I would start to feel sore or cramp up. I surprisingly felt…alive, like I could run, jump, or wrestle an angry chipmunk.
Scanning the horizon, I saw a glimmering object about 30 feet away, hoping it was my pants, I walked towards it. It wasn’t my pants, but the gun. I worked the action and checked the magazine like I’ve seen in the movies; I knew I had at least 2 bullets. I would imagine that having a loaded weapon in a strange world would have a calming effect, but I felt scared. Where was I? What would I face? How do I get home?
I decided to keep walking in the direction I found the gun, maybe my pants were close as well. In front of me was a dense forest of blue pine trees – not blue spruce, but actual blue pines. Was I in a Dr. Suess book? The important thing to note is that they smelled like pine trees, that sweet sappy smell that I love. I closed my eyes and breathed and it was as if I was at home in my backyard. I lived on 20 acres in the woods – I might be a highly-skilled medical doctor, but I was a country boy at heart. Pine has a calming effect on my spirit.
Venturing into the woods further, I crossed a creek that ran with green water. Flowing over rocks and around sand bars, I figured it was safe to drink, even if it seemed to have a high algae content, at least that’s what I figured it was. The banks of the creek were lined with broad leafed plants that formed natural cups. I plucked off the nearest leaf and dipped it into the cool, flowing water. I had to test it, so I dipped my pinky into the water – it didn’t burn or melt my finger off. Test one, successful. I dipped my finger in again and put a drop in my mouth. It was the best tasting water I have ever had in my life. Although it was cold, I felt warmth in my stomach. I took a long pull from the leaf and immediately felt refreshed. I drank until I was satisfied – about half of a leaf full of the amazing water.
I decided to keep moving, those pants weren’t going to find themselves.  After walking for what seemed like an hour, the forest started to thin out. I stopped at the edge of a clearing and there ahead of me was the most amazing sight I had ever seen in my life. A wall. This was a special wall, it was 100 feet tall – I guess. And it looked like it was made out of solid gold! But in my mind, all that mattered was that a wall meant civilization, that meant people, and that meant…pants.
The wall was a journey in itself. It took three hours of hiking around the circumference to find an entrance. The break in the wall was a wooden door, about 20 feet tall. There were cobwebs on the door and rust on the hinges – this obviously wasn’t the main gate. I tried the knob on the door, figuring it was locked. Surprisingly it was not and it opened rather easily. The door opened into the pitch black, but better there than in the woods – I was one step closer to pants.
I figured the room I stepped into was filled with books. There was that musty smell of old paper and leather, aged with time into a crisp mildewed odor mixing with the sweet mahogany of the bookshelves. I felt along the wall of the room for a switch, and was shocked to actually find one. I flipped the switch and a single light bulb flickered and began to give off a faint hum and then warmed into a steady dim glow. Sure enough, I was in a library or archive of some sorts, but from all the dust and spider webs I figure it hadn’t seen visitors in years.
The room wasn’t particularly large, about as big as a bedroom in a suburban house – one of those planned community things – little boxes as the song says. Shelves covered every wall floor to ceiling – and dust covered that. There were a few tables in the room, covered in books as well – stacks 10-12 books high in places, others were open and laying on top of the piles. The floor was just as dusty as the rest of the room and I didn’t see any footprints or signs of life – other than mine.
I had found civilization, but it sure seemed abandoned. I decided to look at the books that were open on the table to see if I could recognize anything about them. Imagine my surprise when I was able to read the writing! I picked up the book and sat in the only place in the room, a huge high backed wooden chair covered with intricate carvings in a foreign script. The seat was padded and covered in a rich red leather – and dust. I began reading the tome and found that it was a treatise on patience and I immediately wanted to skip that book to the next, but I decided to read a few paragraphs and found myself becoming calmer. As I read it seemed as though time stopped and I forgot I was in an alien environment. I finished the book and was amazed at the clarity and reasoning, I felt a measure of new confidence and security – was that book magic?
I picked another book from the pile; it had a wooden cover with the same intricate carvings as the chair, totally unrecognizable symbols. The book was heavy, much heavier than its size would let on, and after reading the first paragraph I figured out why it had so much weight – the subject matter was very deep.
A ship from a safe port had set out to sea, unsure of its destination. It began moving through the ocean in one direction and ran into a terrible storm. The waves pounded the ship and damaged the rudder. The poor ship was throw like a baseball from one wave to another, the sails were torn, and the crew was terrified.
When the storm had passed, the crew made a few repairs to the sails and started moving again, further into the ocean rather than back to the safety of the harbor. Another storm struck the vessel and tore at the mast and ripped at the crew, many lives were lost and the ship took on much water. But then calm came again and the remaining crew set about repairing what damage they could – a tattered sail with patches was the best they could muster. They continued on towards the open waters, hoping to find a new port for repairs. Eventually they came to a port, but it was filled with pirates and thieves, the crew barely escaped in their damaged ship.
Again they sailed out into the open ocean and finally, they ran into a hurricane. The waves ran higher than they had ever seen. The fierce wind hit like a sledgehammer. The ship, already damaged, was destroyed and the crew drowned in the horrible blackness.
The end of the book had a single note:
Think of your life as the ship and the storms as the trials you face. Do you continue aimlessly or do you return to your port of safety?
I sat for a moment after reading and wept. I realize that I had always lived my life going from crisis to crisis, my crazy night was a prime example. What did I need to learn from this?
That’s when I saw something that caught my eye on the table. A tall yellowed piece of parchment with bold lettering across the top: WANTED. The image was a familiar face – button nose, cruel eyes, buck teeth, and whiskers. Apparently his name was Charmine the Chipmunk. He was wanted for horrible, horrible crimes that I won’t mention here. Dead or Alive – I immediately felt for the gun tucked into my tattered underwear. How I wish I had pants!

Superstars And Cars (Fanfiction)
NOTE: This was started before that heartbreaking Shesaro heel turn against the Hardys. If I had started writing this afterwards, certain reactions from certain people about certain other people would be different. And thank you for the prompt, Mrs Cesaro aka @helluvawriter . Played this one by ear so hope it’s ok. Tagging time: @allgirlswrestlingclub @laochbaineann @moxtiel @gelinas22 @heyitstatianita @hardcorewwetrash @happiness-in-reznor  -- "So after he nearly fell into the Lake of Reincarnation, Matt then--" "Abby, I don't give a damn, man. He's a heathen and I keep telling you not to associate with him." It wasn't unusual for the Superstars to immediately head on over to the next city or town once a show had finished. It wasn't unusual for them to car share. It certainly wasn't unusual for Abby and Bray Wyatt to be in the same car. And it was becoming less and less unusual for the former to run into an admirable chatter about a certain Hardy. "Bray Wyatt, I am your sister. Your older twin sister. By two hours. You'd better listen to me. Matt and Jeff have been helping me a lot. More than you have recently, anyway." "How dare you, man! I have a right mind to...oh. That doesn't look good." A faint yet visible grey smoke had begun to emerge from underneath the bonnet of the car, causing a silent panic between the two Wyatts. It had been smooth sailing from the very second they left their last venue so why was this happening to their car now? "We'd better stop," Bray said, gently steering to the side of the road and slowing to a stop. “I don't like the look of that. Here, I'll help you get out, man.” Getting out of the lightly-smoking car, he carefully helped his sister get out of the vehicle; quickly checking her over before turning his attention to the car's trunk. Upon the trunk being opened, the smoke thickened but it wasn't said smoke wafting into his face that was causing Bray to scowl. “Can't believe this is happening. Any idea how to fix this, Abby?” "Seducer, accuser, destroyer," she listed, counting on her fingers before looking at her hands in a perplexed way. "Nothing about being a mechanic so nope, no idea." "Great," he then said, sighing. "And I heard Mr Kurt is a stickler for lateness. If someone doesn't come soon, we are going to be in trouble, man." "Hey, that car's slowing down," Abby replied, noticing headlights approaching from the distance. “I think that's Sheamus' but I'm not one hundred per cent sure.” Naturally Bray's response was to step infront of her as if acting as a human shield, causing her to sigh. She understood that he wanted to keep her safe but it all seemed a little overprotective. Of course, he needn't have worried. As the car stopped just a few feet short of theirs, the window rolled down to reveal Sheamus and Cesaro's surprised faces. "Salut!" Abby greeted, seeming happy to see friendly faces. "Ah salut," Cesaro replied, flashing a smile through his now concerned expression. "Quel est le problème?" "Oui, je suis du pan." Cesaro chuckled at that moment, causing Bray to darkly stare at him. "This isn't funny, man!" "It is a bit," he replied, with a warm smile on his face. "Your sister just said she is bread. Je suis en panne is I have a breakdown." "I think they'd appreciate help with the car rather than with their French, 'saro," Sheamus said, getting out of the car. "Jeysus, that's some smoke. What happened?" "We were just driving and it started spewing smoke like it was his lantern," Abby said, opening the hood and getting a faceful of said smoke. She soon found herself being gently but firmly dragged away by her brother. "Careful," he said, in hushed tones for their ears only. "You know he thrives on smoke and the like, man." "No talking about you know who infront of Sheamus and Cesaro," Abby retorted, looking a little embarrassed. "Especially not Cesaro. He might tell Megs and then she might get worried and I don't want that, man. "I don't think the car's going to explode, fella," Sheamus then said, having wafted most of the smoke away. "I don't think we can fix it either, though. You should probably grab your cases and whatever else is in there." "I've only had that car for a year, man," Bray protested, sounding irritated as he then approached the Irishman. "You're just not looking properly. I bet if this was beer as opposed to a car, you'd be all over it.” “My punches will be all over you in a minute if you don't shut your feckin' mouth!” As their observations forever risked turning into fights, Cesaro offered his hand to Abby; smiling when she gently took hold, he helped her towards their car. "I doubt you will be getting to the next hotel in that car, whether it can be fixed or not. I'm sure Sheamus will be fine with having you and your brother along the ride." A few moments later and Abby was no longer the only Wyatt in the car; having declared the car unfixable by their hands, Sheamus had secured the broken-down car to theirs via a tow cable that Bray kept in the trunk. As they drove down the highway, the Swissman tried to make conversation with his fellow backseat passenger. “That was a good spot you did tonight,” he said, smiling. “Are you ok after that bump though? A few of us backstage were panicking a little given the angle of your leg.” “I'm ok,” she replied, then rubbing the back of her neck in a slightly pained way. “A bit sore but it will pass.” "Are you going to the get-together that Kurt arranged tomorrow night? Everyone on the RAW chat is talking about it." "I don't check the RAW chat," Abby said, looking a little disheartened. "People probably talk shit about me on there, man. Never checked the Smackdown chat for the same reason. Team Blue probably celebrated the fact I went over to the red side with him." As she spoke, she appeared to be fiddling with her phone; not out of rudeness towards Cesaro but as a form of coping with the small wave of anxiety that had hit her. Then catching sight of a text notification on her screen, she opened it up to reveal that Matt Hardy had been the one to contact her. 22:08 : Abigail! It was a great show tonight but I must be raising an issue. There has been no word from you yet about the Kurt of Angle's little gathering. Please tell me your presence will not be obsolete. "Jesus Christ, he even texts that way," Abby said, signing but in good faith. "Is that who I think it is?" The male asked, but the Wyatt was soon distracted by her response. 22:09 : Matt, you know I don't check the RAW chat. People wouldn't want me there anyway. Ok, correction. Like FOUR people would want me there. "Six, actually," Cesaro said, smiling as he put up the same amount of fingers." "Are you reading my texts, man!" "No, you mutter as you type," he then replied, shaking his head and chuckling. "And I figured the four were your brothers and the Hardys. Well add Sheamus and myself to that list." "Would you keep it on one station, fella?!" "You have bad taste in music, man!" Having caught wind of their argument, it was Abby's turn to shake her head and chuckle as she then turned her attention back to her phone. 22:10 : What? Who has told you these things? They are doing the asking for you. Especially the Alexa of Bliss. 22:10 : Oh now there's a lie right there, man. Alexa's still being a fucking bitch. 22:11 : Abigail! Do not be doing the using of the F word! 22:11 : She seriously is though! And if she's asking for me, I'm definitely not going. At that point she turned off her phone, sighing as she did so. However she was soon distracted from an oncoming bad mood when Sheamus suddenly started singing very loudly and somewhat badly. "Sheamus, could you not?" Cesaro asked, pulling a bit of a face. "I have a headache." "Am I the only fun one in this car?" The Irishman questioned in response, jokingly disheartened. "Abby, you'll sing with me, won't you?" “Do I have to?” She questioned in response, but a chuckle escaped her as she spoke. But as she properly began to hear the music playing from the radio, she indeed began to sing along; her voice sweet yet powerful, she didn't immediately notice that she was the only one making any noise as her unexpected voice had silenced the men of the car. Only when the song ended did she realise just what had happened; her cheeks turning scarlet as if embarrassed by what she had just done. “Sorry, man.” "When did you get a voice like that, man?" Bray asked, sounding pleasantly surprised. "No one else in our family can sing." "It's nothing special," she replied, shuffling uncomfortably in her seat. "It's almost as good as mine," Sheamus joked, grinning. Having been cheered up a little by the brief moment of silliness, Abby turned her phone back on and had begun to type another message when incoming text appeared on her screen. 22:16 : Abby, it's Alexa. We need to talk. FYI, I got your number from Matt. 22:17 : We have nothing to talk about. Don't ever contact this number again. She switched off her phone again, sighing in an irritated manner. "What's up, Abby?" Sheamus asked, having heard the noise. "Lose all your lives on Candy Crush or something?" "Would rather not talk about it," she replied, though she soon had a calm smile on her face. "But you know what might cheer me up? Hearing you sing along to the next song that comes on the radio, Sheamus.” "Oh dear gawd no, man...."

ATV Accident Lawyer Bluffdale Utah
The City of Bluffdale was established in 1848 and incorporated at the City of Bluffdale on October 13, 1978. The creation of the Utah Territory was the result of the petition sent by the Mormon pioneers who had settled in the valley of the Great Salt Lake starting in 1847. Bluffdale is a crossroads for transportation and utilities between Salt Lake and Utah Counties. It is home to open spaces, views of the Wasatch Range and a significant stretch of the Jordan River. Life Connected is the motto for the City of Bluffdale connecting the 15,000 residents, two counties and active lifestyles. The history of Bluffdale began with a larger area than it is today.
youtube
It encompassed parts of Riverton, Draper and Herriman. It went as far north as 13800 South, as far east as I-15 in Draper, South to Lehi and West to 5400 W in Herriman City. A favorable business climate has led to the development of a wide range of industries, from traditional manufactured goods to a growing base of new economy products. The growth has attracted migrants from other places west seeking less crowding, lower living cost, and employment opportunities in a pleasant climate. Proximity to outstanding outdoor recreation, including skiing, rafting, and hiking in the Wasatch Mountains, is almost without comparison among large metropolitan areas. By contrast, the desert areas to the west offer little recreation or economic interest. Downtown Salt Lake is beautiful, with boulevards originally designed by Mormons to be wide enough for wagons to make a U-turn. The city itself preserves a clean, dignified character enhanced by the capitol and government buildings and the various landmarks and sites of the Mormon Church. Extensive commercial and industrial areas spread south and west of I-15. Aside from Ogden to the north, most of the area’s growth has spread south along a 40-mile stretch of relatively flat valley ending at Provo.
A string of attractive family-oriented suburbs starts about 5 miles south of downtown and east of I-15 against the mountains; Sandy and Draper are the largest. Because of limited geography and high growth, the city is experiencing some crowding, traffic congestion, smog, and a rise in the cost of living. But the economy is strong, there is plenty to do, the climate is generally pleasant, the population is educated, and good housing values can be found. The Mormon community maintains a strong influence on state government; conservative policies on alcohol and other matters are uncomfortable for some. Salt Lake City is located in a dramatic valley surrounded by high mountains on three sides and the Great Salt Lake to the northwest. The city center is flat but the Wasatch Mountains to the east have peaks to 12,000 feet. The dry Oquirrh Mountains to the southwest of the city have peaks to above 10,000 feet. Heavily influenced by the mountains and the Great Salt Lake, the climate is semiarid continental with four distinct seasons. Summers have hot, dry weather, but high temperatures are generally tolerable because of low humidity and cool nights. Winters are cold but usually not severe. Mountains to the north block some cold air and the salt lake moderates cold from the northwest. Average annual snowfall is under 60 inches at the airport but much higher in the mountains. Heavy fog can develop under temperature inversions in the winter and persist for several days. In summer, the mountain ranges help to develop thunderstorms, which drift over the valley, particularly the eastern portion.
youtube
The lake and mountains together create summer breezes and more precipitation than would otherwise occur in this high-desert environment. Heavy precipitation comes from Pacific storms in spring. The largest park in Bluffdale is Wardle Fields Regional Park, part of the Salt Lake County Parks system. At 40 acres, the park caters to the recreational needs of the region by providing a splash pad, a 25-foot tall watchtower, pickle ball and basketball courts, bouldering wall, zip lines, and other amenities. Bluffdale has a system of 13 parks. Some of the most notable are:
• Bluffdale City Main Park (22.37 acres) is the city’s largest park and features 2 pavilions, 16 picnic tables, a trail, and sports fields. • Vintage Park (6.37 acres) is one of the city’s newest parks and features pavilions and picnic tables, pickle ball and tennis courts, and a splash pad. • Independence Park (5.73 acres) features a splash pad, pavilion, and a variety of play equipment. • Parry Farms Park (5.63 acres) • Phillip Gates Memorial Park (4.54 acres) • Mount Jordan Park (3.69 acres) • Close proximity to freeway: Most everywhere you go in Bluffdale you can get to the I-15 freeway or Bangeter Highway within minutes. • New homes close to popular established areas: It is becoming hard to build a new home to best fit your needs in the Salt Lake Valley that is an affordable price and close to familiar and established areas. Bluffdale offers just that. In Bluffdale, Utah you can build a new home in a darling neighborhood and save the headache of the huge project and cost of remodeling. In Bluffdale you are next door to popular areas like Lehi, Draper, Riverton and South Jordan that have all of the conveniences and the latest and greatest shopping (like the Traverse Mountain Outlets), restaurants, museums and entertainment.
• Central location: Bluffdale is roughly 20 minutes to downtown Salt Lake City and 20 minutes to Provo. It is a great place to be if you work north or south.
• Fun community feel: In Bluffdale, Utah you can still be a part of a small town experience and enjoy activities such a Bluffdale Old West Days where there are carnivals, rodeos and parades helping it feel like a tight knit community. With a smaller city it is not as busy and can feel simpler, which can be hard to find in the Salt Lake area.
• Great options for schools: Award-winning charter school Summit Academy elementary, middle school and high school, good public schools such as Riverton High School and nearby private schools such as Juan Diego are just a few of the options for schools. There is also a new elementary and middle school that are planned to be built in Bluffdale in the next couple of years. • New communities dispersed throughout Bluffdale: New communities are all throughout Bluffdale. New communities bring new and updated parks, splash pads, walking trials, sport courts, and lively neighborhoods with beautiful well-kept homes that are all over Bluffdale.
youtube
• Lots of outdoor activities: In Bluffdale you can enjoy the great Utah outdoors being so close by American Fork canyon, Draper trailheads, Jordan River Parkway and minutes from Utah Lake.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, more than 135,000 people are injured every year because of an accident involving a recreational all-terrain vehicle (ATV). What’s more is that over 700 are involved in a fatal crash; one-third of such fatal accidents occur to children who are under 16 years of age. This is nothing to take lightly. If you have been injured in such an accident, no matter whether it was recreational or if it was while on the job, you could have grounds to file a personal injury claim to recover full and fair compensation. The leading causes of ATV accidents include the following:
• Operator Behavior: Often, ATVs are being used is in rural land. Should the operator not know the way to handle the vehicle, it can cause them to be ejected, for the car to roll over, or for them to lose control. • Incorrect Number of Passengers: Another common cause is when an operator puts a passenger on an ATV when it is designated as one person only. ATVs may have the room to fit another body, but they commonly not built to safely hold more than one. Not just because of weight limits, but also because a passenger can’t maneuver with the vehicle. When operating a smaller ATV, the driver will have to shift their weight to stay balanced; a passenger won’t be able to shift with the vehicle intuitively and will be vulnerable to falling off or throwing off the entire vehicle’s balance. • Defective ATV: Should the throttle stick, steering lockup, suspension be faulty, or tires blowout, it can lead to an accident. In these cases, the vehicle operator will not be at fault, but rather the designer or manufacturer.
When it comes to ATV accidents, studies have shown victims frequently suffer spine injuries. The people who are most commonly hurt are women and older children. Recent research showed that between 1997 and 2006, there was a 240% increase in the amount of child-related ATV injuries. Between those same years, there was a 436% increase in the number of spine injuries resulting from ATV accidents. Children who sustained a spine injury in an ATV accident are at an increased risk of associated injuries in the future. Not only are they at risk of suffering again, but there is a concern that the injury may not be adequately treated the first time around if the condition is not noticed during the first X-ray. Regardless of whether an injury is not fully-treated or if a later injury aggravates the condition, such spinal injuries can cause lifelong pain for the victim. In addition to spinal injuries, riders can also suffer from the following: • Abdominal injuries • Closed head injuries • Spinal fractures • Appendicular skeletal fractures • Neurological injuries Pros of Living in Bluffdale • Nearby recreation • Economy • Attractive downtown Cons of Living in Bluffale • Nightlife • Long commutes • Growth and sprawl
The unemployment rate in Bluffdale is 3.0% (U.S. avg. is 3.9%). Recent job growth is Positive. Bluffdale jobs have increased by 1.5%. Cost Of Living

Reasons to Make Your ATV Street Legal
• It’s Convenient: You can go anywhere a car can go and a lot further. It’s a nice day out, and you don’t feel like loading your ATV into the truck just to get to your favorite riding spot. With a street legal ATV, you don’t have to! You can ride to the farm, the beach, the trails, the Taco Bell, or the local meeting place where all the car guys hang out. • It’s Fun: Street legal ATVs can be customized just like cars and motorcycles, but they can go places those others can’t. Jumps, wheelies, skids, donuts, and off-road exploration are just a few of the things you should only do when it’s legal to do so • It’s Easy: There aren’t many parts involved in making a quad bike street legal.

Parts Needed to Make an ATV Street Legal
Each state has different laws regarding motor vehicles, and other countries do too. This generic information should help you meet the minimum legal requirements across most of the United States. Always check your local laws before operating a street legal ATV on public roads. Some states don’t allow street legal quads even if they don’t explicitly say so, because their laws say something crafty like all four-wheel vehicles newer than 19xx must have seatbelts or all four-wheel vehicles must have fenders that cover most of the tire. There are a few other things you’ll need to make your quad street legal • Horn: You need this so other motorists will know they’re taking too long in the Taco Bell drive thru. • License plate holder and light: • Blinkers: Traffic needs to know which way you’re turning. That also means you need hand controls to turn the blinkers on and off. I know what you’re thinking. • Mirrors: These are critical for seeing the look on your friend’s face when you pull on his Civic with your ATV. Another thing to consider is getting street tires for your street legal ATV. You’ll spend a lot of money on them, but here’s why they’re worth it: • Extra grip means better cornering and pulls • Extra grip means extra safety (and better braking) • You won’t wear through knobbies on a regular basis How to Title an ATV for Street Use The most important things you need are a title, license plate, and registration. These are the hardest parts to get on your own.

• Lots of outdoor activities: In Bluffdale you can enjoy the great Utah outdoors being so close by American Fork canyon, Draper trailheads, Jordan River Parkway and minutes from Utah Lake.

• Great options for schools: Award-winning charter school Summit Academy elementary, middle school and high school, good public schools such as Riverton High School and nearby private schools such as Juan Diego are just a few of the options for schools. New communities bring new and updated parks, splash pads, walking trials, sport courts, and lively neighborhoods with beautiful well-kept homes that are all over Bluffdale.

Compared to the rest of the country, Bluffdale’s cost of living is 44.3% higher than the U.S. average.

The lake and mountains together create summer breezes and more precipitation than would otherwise occur in this high-desert environment. Heavy precipitation comes from Pacific storms in spring. Bluffale ATV Accident Attorneys
Compared to the rest of the country, Bluffdale’s cost of living is 44.3% higher than the U.S. average.

Compared to the rest of the country, Bluffdale’s cost of living is 44.3% higher than the U.S. average.

There are 18.90 miles from Salt Lake City to Bluffdale in south direction and 23 miles (37.01 kilometers) by car, following the I-15 S and I-80 route. Pulse List brings you the eight most notorious criminals, armed robbers and killers that Nigerians can never forget in a hurry owing to their exploits that has become legendary.
In the history of Nigeria, there has been a history of crime and criminals who have become folk heroes and legends in themselves.
Some of them have had their names entrenched in the history of the country as bandits who almost debilitated the nation but whatever way you look at them, they deserve the roll call of heroes and villains are made.
Here are the most notorious criminals Nigerians can never forget.
1. Lawrence Nomanyagbon Anini aka The Law
For those who grew in the 80s, the name Lawrence Nomanyagbon Anini can never be forgotten as one of Nigeria's most notorious armed robbers who reigned supreme in the old Bendel State, now Edo and Delta.
ALSO READ : "Laying Bare: Profiling Nigeria's Notorious Armed Robbers: (Lawrence Anini)"
Anini also known as The Law, reigned supreme in the 80s and was so bloody that his matter was even discussed at the State Security Council meeting in the General Ibrahim Babangida's regime.
Born in 1960 in a village about 20 miles from Benin City in present day Edo State, Anini migrated to Benin at an early age, learned to drive and became a skilled taxi driver, before he took to crime and quickly became  a much-feared gang leader whose approach got people trembling.
His gang members included Monday Osunbor, later known to be a dreaded killer without mercy, Friday Ofege, Henry Ekponwan, Phillip Iwebelue, Prince Kingsley Eweka, and others.
Starting out as car snatchers, bus robbers and bank thieves predominantly in Benin, Anini, and his gang extended his criminal acts to other towns and cities in other states in the country.
Anini was also able to penetrate the police echelon and had some top officers as his gun suppliers and informants, the biggest of them being Inspector George Iyamu who benefited immensely from the gang.
In an operation in August of 1986, the Anini team struck at First Bank, Sabongida-Ora, where they carted away N2, 000.
But although the amount stolen was seen as chicken feed, they left the scene with a trail of blood as many persons were killed.
On September 6, same year, the Anini gang snatched a Peugeot 504 car from Albert Otoe, the driver of an Assistant Inspector General of Police, Christopher Omeben. In snatching the car, they killed the driver and went to hide his corpse somewhere.
It was not until three months later that the skeleton of the driver was spotted 16 kilometers away from Benin, along the Benin-Agbor highway. A day after this attack, Anini, operating in a Passat car believed to have been stolen, also effected the snatching of another Peugeot 504 car near the former FEDECO office, in Benin.
Two days after, the Anini men killed two policemen in Orhiowon Local Government Area of the state. Still, in that month, three different robbery attacks, all pointing to Anini’s involvement, took place.
A day after the operation, Anini, The Law, turned to a ‘Father Christmas’ as he threw wads of Naira notes on the ground for free pick by market men and women at a village near Benin.
Anini thus spear-headed a four-month reign of terror between August and December 1986. Anini also reportedly wrote numerous letters to media houses using political tones of Robin Hood-like words, to describe his criminal acts.
Even the Military Head of State, Gen. Babangida got worried over the activities of Anini and asked the then Inspector General of Police, Etim Inyang where the bandit was and gave him the mandate to get him dead or alive.
Such was his prowess and myth.
Anini was finally arrested in a major operation led by Superintendent of Police Kayode Uanreroro, who brought his reign of terror to an end.
He was nabbed  on December 3, 1986, at No. 26, Oyemwosa Street, opposite Iguodala Primary School, Benin City, in company of six women, following a tip-off by residents of the area.
Anini who was confined to a wheelchair throughout his trial following the amputation of one of his legs was sentenced to death by Justice James Omo-Agege of the Benin High Court  and was executed on March 29, 1987.
2. 'Doctor' Ishola Oyenusi
Naturally, 'Doctor' Ishola Oyenusi should have taken the top spot on this list going by the fact that he was the first known armed robber in the country.
But Anini's exploits in the underworld took the shine off Oyenusi.
In the history of crime in Nigeria, Oyenusi, was a cold-blooded armed robber who held sway in the early 70s, stands on a very special threshold that none can ever dream of attaining.
He took the nation by storm shortly after the Civil War ended and before he was executed on Wednesday, September 8, 1971, at the famous Bar Beach show in front of 30,000 watching Nigerians, no one believed that 'The Doctor' would be captured, as he was famed for 'disappearing' or his body not penetrable by bullets.
In fact, he must have had so much faith in his charms that he smiled all the way to the stake and even as soldiers aimed their rifles at him and his co-criminals, Oyenusi still radiated an aura of invincibility.
The phenomenal armed robber rose from the ashes of the Nigerian-Biafran Civil War that spanned three years, from 1967-1970.
Oyenusi was a charismatic, cocksure gangster whose lordly disdain for the law cast the terrifying portent of social breakdown, and had come to be celebrated as the quintessential bandit of his time.
During his reign of terror, 'Doctor' Oyenusi carved a name for himself as the most brutal terror the country had ever known and lived up to another of his nickname of 'Dr. Rob and Kill', because he was known to kill with impunity and his myth was legendary.
He unleashed boundless terror on many Nigerians and would kill even for a stick of cigarette. Oyenusi was no doubt, the uncrowned emperor of Nigerian robbers and he was described as the ‘first celebrated armed robber in Nigeria’, regarded by some as the pioneer of conventional armed robbery in Nigeria.
When Oyenusi reigned at the height of his regal confidence, he declared: ‘The bullet has no power over me.‘
Legend has it that Oyenusi got into active robbery back in 1959, but he committed his first major robbery when he snatched a car along Herbert Macaulay Road in Yaba, Lagos, and killing its owner in the process, just because his girlfriend was broke and needed money to buy her make-up.
He eventually sold the car for £400 (Nigeria's currency then) and handed the money to the lady. He actually snatched the first car he saw on the road. Such was the ferocious nature of his audacity.
By the end of the Civil War, Oyenusi had metamorphosed into a cold-hearted robber who took delight in causing pains to his victims.
Oyenusi’s arrogance was also legendary. In 1970, he was arrested and handcuffed by a police officer. As the policeman was ordering him around, Oyenusi blasted him and thundered: ‘People like you don’t talk to me like that when I am armed. I gun them down.’
The last robbery that did him in was when he and his gang attacked the WAHUM factory in Ikeja in March 1971, where they stole the princely sum of £28,000, which was unprecedented in those days. A police officer was also killed in the process.
'Doctor' Ishola Oyenusi's execution was celebrated by relieved Nigerians who trooped out en-masse to the Bar Beach in Lagos to witness the end of a man who had held the country to ransom.
As the crowd thronged the Beach, jeering and booing Oyenusi and his band of six convicted robbers, the man of the moment kept smiling and waving at them but shortly before his body was riddled with hot-leaded bullets from stern-faced soldiers of the Nigerian Army, he finally screamed: ‘I am dying for the offense I have committed.‘
3. Abiodun Egunjobi aka Godogodo
Abiodun Egunjobi, alias Godogodo, was the modern day version of Lawrence Anini. The one-eyed monster was one of the deadliest armed robbers Nigeria ever had.
The 36-years-old Godogodo rose from being a slum boy to the leader of a gang that defied all reasons, struck with precision, killed without mercy and terrorized Lagos and the south-west with reckless abandon.
Before his arrest on August 1, 2013, Godogodo gave the Lagos State Police Command so much headache for 14 years, so much so that on the day he was arrested, the command erupted in joy: at least its men would be safe from his guns.
Originally from Ogun State, Egunjobi was on the wanted list of the police for over 10 years and the way he managed to evade the police is still legendary.
In fact, he was at a time, on the top of the Most Wanted list of the Command with several Police Commissioners assigning the toughest of cops on his trail.
At that time, any robbery in Lagos had the imprint of Godogodo, with him leading or one of his boys being responsible. He was famed for leading many robbery operations, especially on banks, with the infamous reputation of killing over 100 policemen in Lagos State.
Godogodo allegedly went for operations with a bag containing 10 fully loaded AK 47 rifles with 30 rounds of ammunition each and as such, he was fully prepared in terms of weapons on his back.
It was gathered that Godogodo used to tell his gang members that he would never be arrested alive and had vowed to go down with as many policemen as possible on the day he is unable to escape arrest.
This vow was later found to be real, as anti-robbery detectives recovered several loaded AK47s, each with 60 rounds of live ammunition, from different parts of his residence, including the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, sitting room on the day of his arrest.
He was so good at disguising his criminal activities that even his wife and family members never knew what he was into. He had six houses in different locations including Lagos, Ogun and Ondo States, and never stayed in a particular location for more than a month.
Godogodo began his voyage into the deadly world of crime after spending seven years in prison for what he considered a minor offence.
As a scrap dealer in the slum of Gatankowa, Abule-Egba, he was involved in a fight and the police arrested him. With no one to bail him out, Godogodo was sent to jail and in his mind, he believed his going to prison was an injustice and blamed the police for it.
While in prison, he became acquainted with more deadly armed robbers and formed an alliance with them and took the time to understudy them. When he finally left prison, he decided that he was going to deal with the police for sending him to prison for seven years.
During his interrogation, Godogodo told the police that he took only raw cash during his operations and would only attack a place he knew there would be enough cash to cart away. He also said he doesn’t have any bank account as he invested all his money in the property immediately after each operation.
Abbey Godogodo visited many Lagosians with sorrow, tears, and blood. Many would not forget Sunday, September 9, 2012, when he and his gang terrorized the state and left indelible marks in the minds of many families after he led a coordinated attack in the city where many innocent people including policemen lost their lives.
He revealed how he coordinated the bloody  operation and gave chilling details of how he led members of his gang to cart away millions of Dollars from bureau de change operators in Agege and Gbagada areas of Lagos.
The Lagos State Police Command led by the then Commissioner, Umar Manko, mandated the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), led by  Superintendent of Police, Abba Kyari, to bring an end to the reign of Abbey Godogodo and that began intensive investigations which led to the capitulation of his empire.
Manko was given direct orders by the then Inspector General of Police to make sure the Godogodo phenomenon was quashed at all cost.
After the gang attacked the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, where two police inspectors and more than five people were killed and over N100 million stolen, the police decided to focus on profiling the suspect, because, up to that point, no one knew anything about him or what he looked like. The police also began looking at the possibility of preempting his subsequent operations.
4. Okwudili Ndiwe aka Derico
Okwudili Ndiwe, alias Derico Nwamama, was also one of the deadliest armed robbers to have come out of the Nigeria.
In the early 2000s, the 22-year-old Derico Nwamama was probably the King of the Underworld in the Eastern parts of the country; a clear replication of the likes of Lawrence Anini and Ishola Oyenusi.
Derico had risen from a street urchin and pick pocket to a dreaded crime king and the mere mention of his name sent shivers down the spines of traders and residents of Onitsha, the commercial capital of Anambra State, and other parts of the east.
The traders could not display their wares with peace while many slept with one eye open. Derico sacked commercial banks in Onitsha, carting away millions of Naira. Travelers who had to pass through the state held their breaths, expecting the hoodlum to strike at any time.
The then Governor of the state, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, became an old man over night with worries on how to handle the menace of Derico.
He was described as the personification of terror. From Nnewi to Nkpor, from the villages in Umuleri to towns in Ihiala, the old and young were terrified at the mere whisper of Derico Nwamama.
At that time, he was said to be invisible and could not be arrested. The dreaded Bakassi Boys went on a manhunt for the man known to kill without batting an eyelid.
According to legend, Derico Nwamama had killed over 100 people including 25 police officers whose lives he mercilessly wasted. He was a master of countless bus robberies and will not blink twice before pumping his hot lead bullets into the beating hearts of hapless victims.
And after his successful raids, he would boast and declare himself invincible. Derico seemed to have placed a lot of faith and confidence in the charms prepared for him by the traditional witch-doctors.
With the police and other security forces unable to bring Derico Nwamama and his terror regime to a close, the onus fell on the Bakassi Boys, the militant wing of the Anambra Vigilante Services (AVS), a local vigilante group set up to curb crime and criminality in the South East.
The group were then at the forefront of the hunt and capture of Derico Nwamama and on Tuesday, July 3, 2001, the hitherto invisible criminal was nabbed on his way to Onitsha from Agbor, ostensibly on one of his crime spree.
On July 9, 2001, six days after Derico was captured at the Niger Bridge, the Bakassi Boys did to him what many had earlier predicted. Chanting war songs, they drove in their convoy around the town and ended at the Ochanja Market Junction along the popular Upper Iweka Road in Onitsha.
Derico was dragged out from the bus, looking gaunt and severely beaten, a trademark of the vigilante group. His body bore cuts and gashes, a testament to what he must have gone through in their hands. He must also have known that the day of reckoning has come.
He was in obvious pains but no one seemed to care. Still chanting war songs and egged on by the enchanted crowd, one of the commanders of the Bakassi Boys named Okpompi, addressed the crowd, telling them they were in the state not for politics but to fight crime.
He handed over the microphone to the now trembling Derico who, like a cornered fox, began begging for his life to be spared. He made feeble attempts at declaring his innocence:
“My name is Oddy, alias Derico, alias Nwa Mama. I appeal to you the people of Anambra State, please don’t kill me, I don’t like evil. It was when I killed Chiejina that people thought I am a strong guy, you know.
I trust Bakassi Boys. They are strong. Please, mercy for me. Nobody can identify me as having robbed him. People just believe that I am a strong guy.”
What was to follow remains one of the most macabre displays of public executions in Nigeria. With the speed of a guillotine, a cutlass handled in the strong arm of one of the Bakassi Boys flew and came down with an unforgiving thud, landing on Derico’s slim neck. In a flash, Derico was beheaded.
His severed head rolled on the floor before the crowd while his convulsing body collapsed on the ground, with bright-red blood gushing from his carotid arteries. .
5. Kayode Williams
Before he became a man of God and the Director-General of Prison Rehabilitation Mission International (PREMI), and the Presiding Bishop of Christ Vessel of Grace Church, Bishop Kayode Williams was one of Nigeria most notorious armed robbers.
He was a member of the Ishola Oyenusi gang who stood out when his boss was captured.  He was known to be a dreaded robber who wasted no time in killing his victims. During a confession years ago, Bishop Willams narrated how he pounded little babies and used them for spiritual fortification.
He was converted to Christianity while serving a 10-year jail term and since then, he has not looked back in preaching to prisoners and trying all he can to rehabilitate them.
6. Monday Osunbor
Legend has it that Monday Osunbor was the main man behind the dreaded Lawrence Anini gang. He was known as the executioner and sharp shooter.
Though not much was known of him during the Anini trial as his leader took the shine off him, it was gathered that he was a short-tempered stammerer who did not hesitate in killing their victims.
He was executed alongside Anini in 1987.
7. Shina Rambo
The name Shina Rambo has refused to go away from the consciousness of Nigerians who either witnessed his crime spree or were unfortunate to live in that era.
The Abeokuta, Ogun State-born Rambo was a terror in the 90s and the brain behind many crimes in the Western parts of the country where he robbed and killed with impunity.
He was so feared even by the police that many thought he was invisible as he was thought to disappear anytime the police closed in on him.
It is believed that the policemen who killed him did not even know that it was Shina Rambo.
He was said to be on his way to Lanrewaju Motors to buy a Pathfinder SUV when he was apprehended by the police on the Ojota New Garage Long Bridge.
Rambo was not the one driving when the police stopped him and his gang, they discovered a lot of money in a cartoon in the trunk of the Datsun car.
When they started questioning him on the possession of such huge an amount, an argument ensued and he attempted to disarm one of the policemen.
It was one of the policemen at the other side of the road who shot Rambo down. It was said that it was easy to shoot him because he was not with his charms since he was not going for an operation.
However, another account has it that the person killed was not the real Shina Rambo as another ex-bandit who claimed to be the real Rambo, is now a man of God by the name Mathew Oluwanifemi.
In his confession a few years ago, pastor Oluwanifemi described himself as a hardened criminal, a terror, and killer.
He narrated how he specialized in robbing exotic cars on highways and banks and that nothing could stop him, not even security operatives as he was totally invincible.
8. Isiaka Busari aka Mighty Joe
Shortly after the notorious kingpin of armed robbery in Nigeria, Ishola Oyenusi was executed, his second in command, Isiaka Busari, better known as Mighty Joe, took over the scene and became the defacto king of the underground.
Nigeria was still coming out of the pangs of the civil war and with the death of Oyenusi, they thought the era of violent crimes had been nipped in the bud but little did they know that another hoodlum would spring up and become deadlier.
In Mighty Joe's gang were ex-soldiers who were demobilized and with their know how in the handling of guns and other deadly weapons, they held the nation, particularly the South West, to ransom, robbing and killing with reckless abandon.
Mighty Joe was even deadlier than Oyenusi and was known to operate at anytime he felt like and taking a human's life was nothing to him.
For many years, he constituted himself a big terror to the people of Lagos, the then Federal Capital, especially around Mushin where he lived and practiced his trade.
He strode the hemisphere like a colossus from 1971 when his boss was killed, till 1973 when he was nabbed after robbing a hotel bar attendant, Michael Osayunana, of the sum of  ₦10.
Also Read: "Laying Bare: Profiling Nigeria's Notorious Armed Robbers: ('Doctor' Ishola Oyenusi)"
The arrest of Mighty Joe, according to legend, was as dramatic as his reign of terror. The self-styled ‘Strongman of Idi Oro’ was caught when someone he had earlier robbed, recognized him and fingered him to the police and he was nabbed without any fight, as against his various boasts that no man born of a woman can arrest him due to his strong belief in his spiritual powers.
He was said to pay some herbalists huge amounts to prepare charms for him so that he would remain invincible.
While he was in prison awaiting his day at the Bar Beach, Mighty Joe converted to Islam and even offered prayers that the execution is reverted. That was never to be.
After he was tied to the stakes, he was asked to say his last words and he blurted:
"May God bless everybody, both my friends and enemies. Tell my wife, my mother and my in-law to keep fit."

""Solo accident, going to file sr-1, repair estimate $2200. should i tell insurance? (2nd accident in 5 months)?""
first of all, yes, i am a bad driver and i'm really going to drive slow from now on. this is my 2nd car accident in 5 months. the first one was deemed 70% my fault(my car and another one involved, we went through insurance). in this most recent one, it was just my car and a wall initial repair estimate is about $2200. i'm going to file an sr-1. so it looks like i have several options: option1) file the SR1, don't even call the insurance company, pay out of pocket option2) file the SR1, tell insurance, get them to pay for some of the repairs, and i pay for the rest option3) file the SR1, tell insurance, have them pay for all of the repairs how would my future insurance premiums be affected in each situation? how would it affect my DMV record and points against my driving record? i'm guessing the insurance company will find out even if i don't call them directly because of the SR-1 i'm going to file. but if i don't make the insurance company pay, will they not hike up my premiums as much? any suggestions or knowledge about sr-1 and insurance? thanks!!""

Can health insurance companies request medical records from other health insurance companies?
When I was in college I was in a relationship that made me really depressed, and the psychologist on campus referred me to an outside therapist with a diagnosis of major depression --the outside therapist corrected it and said she believed i had circumstantially-related depression, but she told me she coded the claim with the referring guy's major depression label so the insurance company wouldn't hassle me about the paying the claim. I worked with her for a 6 months --no medication, just got out the relationship--and am happy and healthy :) Now I'm reading all kinds of scary stuff about MIB, retroactive declining of coverage, etc and I currently have new individual (underwritten) coverage--I can ask her to correct the claim with my old company, but it seems like any action might rock the boat and I'm scared--if they didn't notice it, should i leave it be? or is there a chance that if i (god forbid) get something serious down the road that my current insurer will dig up my records from my old insurer to look for a reason to not pay? she was trying to do something to make my life easier but this whole thing has turned into such a mess!""

Hello !! Michael, I am interested in a term life insurance policy for myself and my wife. We are 50 and 51 years of age and in overall good health. We are both overweight according to Farmers insurance guidelines. Everything was fine with regards to our health except for their restrictions about the weight issue. My question: What are we supposed to do in order to be insured with a reputable company ? We would be willing to pay a higher premium if necessary. Could you Please recommend some insurance companys that provide flexibility with regard to weight. Your help is appreciated !!!!""

Auto insurance question?
My car was hit while it was parked in my own driveway 4 days ago (in NY state). The police came and filed a report. I asked them for the other drivers insurance info, but they said I would have to wait for the police report and it would include that information. They advised it would be available after 5 business days at a cost of $5.00. I think the information should have been made available immediately so I could have filed a claim with the other person's insurance company. I don't suspect they will get rich by charging $5.00, so I don't know why I have to wait for the info. I am concerned that the other person's insurance will question the delay in filing the claim. Is this normal? I would really like to get my car fixed as soon as possible and am frustrated that I have to wait to get information that I think should have been immediately available. The driver that hit my car admitted to being on heavy duty prescription drugs at the time of the accident, but said that wasn't the cause of the accident. They said they had a seizure and had a documented history of seizures (which makes me think they shouldn't have a valid license anymore). The police seemed suspicious, but said they wouldn't issue any tickets as long as the person agreed to go to the hospital for treatment of seizures. There were no injuries, but there was significant damage to several parked vehicles, and minor damage to several homes and other property that was hit . Thank you to all that answer.""

What are the ins and outs of buying/owning a classic car?
I have been considering purchasing an older car for about a year. I've done a little research during that time and narrowed down what I want. Last week, I found a car that I really like, a '62 Lincoln. However, I have some concerns about having a car like this and wanting to get some feedback from someone with the knowledge/experience/wisdom in this area. Firstly, I am not rich and getting this car would mean borrowing money. My intent was to sell my current car once I have this car to cover most of the cost of the classic. Would that be a mistake? My current car is paid off, so money-wise it would be a question of insurance costs and taxes/tags every year (if I were to keep my current car). Second, the car I'm looking at is pretty authentic, meaning it has almost all its original parts and accessories. Would it be a mistake to modify it? I mean, repainting it (down the road), having the upholstery redone, installing a current radio and speakers, putting on modern-style tires, etc. Will this change its value negatively? I do like the car as it is, but I'd really like to put modern-style tires on it and put in a modern stereo, at least. Repainting and such would be probably 5+ years down the road, if I decided to do this. Probably, I'd want to reupholster the seats before painting it. And, since I am not rich nor a moneyed individual, I don't have a storage place to park it at my place. I mean, I have a garage, but my house is old, the garage is narrow, and I use it as my workshop. If I were to park the car in it, that would be I'd have to pack up my workshop and remove the shelves to make it fit. Do I need to keep it in a garage? Would that be smart? Does it matter since it's intended to be my primary vehicle? I can't think of anything else to ask at the moment, so if you have any other advice or insights, I'd certainly appreciate them!""

People who don't qualify for medicaid has to have regular insurance . A lot of those who don't qualify for medicaid can be determined by just a few dollars as they have a cut off limit. As an owner-operator, working for the big taxi company, what kind of insurance do I need on the cab?
"As an owner-operator, working for the big taxi company, what kind of insurance do I need on the cab?
I'm in California. I'm working as a cabbie for that big taxi company with the brightly colored cabs. You know, the one everybody thinks of first. I just bought my own taxi car and it's being converted into a taxi which I will drive for the company. The boss has given me an insurance card, and he says this is the only insurance I need. But I'm worried about it, because the taxi car will also be used a little as my private vehicle, you know, like to drop off my kid at school, or pick up groceries, etc. If anyone knowledgeable can shed some light on this for me, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

Car insurance cost in UK... seems too expensive?
I was planning to buy a car in UK. Initially I was planning to buy a high end car but a friend of mine suggested to get a small engine car to get cheap insurance. Big or Small? My top concern is cost of insurance.
How much can I expect my car insurance to raise per year because of a speeding ticket?
I am 19 years old (so I know the car insurance companies are kinda screwing me to begin with). This is the first time I have been ticketed for anything. I'm assuming I'm around 14 maybe 15 weeks pregnant & I haven't had any prenatal care nor do I have health insurance. With my first pregnancy I qualified for Medicaid & left the HHS that day with it! This time they have been dragging me around since March, losing things, accidentally deleting files, denying me & then asking me to reapply. Naturally though, I can't receive insurance through his job until we are officially married. We attempted to make an appointment & self pay, but during that one visit they demanded $600 up front, which we weren't prepared for. I refuse to go to a clinic simply because my last pregnancy was high risk & ended in an emergency C-Section & there were complications & I'm sure this one will be the same, since I ended up getting pregnant before the desired waiting time for a previous c-section. Im 18 and Ive just passed my driving test and im looking for a good car for around 2500. The cars with cheap insurance are more expensive and the cheap cars have a relatively high insurance cost. The budget for the insurance is not set but I don't want to pay a ridiculous price. Any suggestions on a perfect car which is in my budget but with a low insurance cost? P.S. I understand because im young the insurance will be expensive but if anyone has any advice on how to get cheaper insurance please let me know.

As an owner-operator, working for the big taxi company, what kind of insurance do I need on the cab?
I'm in California. I'm working as a cabbie for that big taxi company with the brightly colored cabs. You know, the one everybody thinks of first. I just bought my own taxi car and it's being converted into a taxi which I will drive for the company. The boss has given me an insurance card, and he says this is the only insurance I need. But I'm worried about it, because the taxi car will also be used a little as my private vehicle, you know, like to drop off my kid at school, or pick up groceries, etc. If anyone knowledgeable can shed some light on this for me, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

Questions about car insurance?
I understand that I will need car insurance and when I do get my first car my insurance will be high (I'm 17). My parents don't drive, so I can't rely upon them. Tell me if I'm wrong and help me out... 1. So the big picture of car insurance is that if I get into an accident, the money I put for my car will be paid for with the money I put in? 2. Will car insurance cover anything I do with the car? (Such as swapping parts, oil change, etc.) 3. Why does insurance quotes matter? Doesn't the more you pay the better coverage you have? Why do you need to save money? Are they trying to make you pay less so you if your accident can't be paid fully, you will pay with some other type? 4. How much will insurance supposedly cost? My first part-time job will only pay approx. 30k a year, I don't know how much I'll lose. 5. Does the type of car affect how much I will pay? (Hopefully, but I will be getting a Scion FR-S automatic) 6. Which car insurance company is mostly recommended for teenagers? Thanks for your help!""
Can I force insurance to pay for rental car if they take too long to make a decision after assessment?
First off I am in CA and the other liable insurance is Farmers or 21st century. For some reason Farmers is handling the claim. Ok, so I was in an accident in which the other party was at fault. As such their insurance has accepted liability. I have already taken my car get an assessment by one of their representatives at a repair place. But do to their stupidity in a few instances, its taking a long time for them to make a decision as to repair my car or call it a total loss. So because of that, in the mean time I am forced to drive my car which I do not feel comfortable driving in. The passanger seat belt doesn't work so I can't commute to school like I usually do. Bottom line is a have been patient when they did their investigation and everything, but its been a while now and my car is still not even in a shop to get fixed. In order to maybe speed up the process and make me feel safer, can I just get a rental car already force the other insurance to pay? After all they are completely liable since it was their driver that was at fault. Why do I have to wait day after day, driving a ruined car, while they take their sweet time making their BS decisions? I know that they legally have to pay for a rental while my car gets repaired, but again they are taking time simply deciding if its a loss or not. So because of them, its not in a shop just yet...., but can I still get a rental car early and have them pay anyway? Maybe that will make em hurry up.""

Nationwide car insurance....?
So yea it was a snowy day in mississippi..... something that don't usually happen... I slided on ice and hit the guard rail... it was only 1 or maybe 2 bump... the car wasn't messed up that bad.... I mean there was a dent from the inital bump but what do you expect? The officer said when I asked them could they fix it he said probably... its not really bad at all.... and that the same thing I said... so I find out days later after they inspected it, they was gonna jump it and not fix it... so my question is why do we pay all these hundreds of dollars every month that when it comes to the company to their job, they don't do it? I think I was paying 240 every month for my 98 ford explorer... also do they suppose to pay me for the value of my car since they not fixing it? The reality of it that if I known this would have happen could I just save that money I was paying them these years and put the money in my pocket so when I crash I could take that money and buy me my own car instead of being carless when I was giving the money to the insurance company? I mean wuts the point of even paying them honestly?""

Does anyone understand how rental cars work? Insurance/fuel fees... Think I got taken to school on this.?
I just had to bring my car to the shop for a repair. They ended up needing to keep it. Now a rental was covered under the warranty. So at least the rental was covered. But the guy had me signing off on insurance and what not. I guess the insurance on my car would cover the rental if I had an accident. But they would take from my cars deductible. So I basically signed off on a Collision Damage Waiver and also personal accident insurance. I did decline supplemental liability insurance though. Should the warranty be covering these fees or was this an extra that I got talked into? Because if the warranty covers the rental they aren't making anything. My understanding is it could be better because I am covered under their insurance if I have an accident and it wouldn't come off my own cars deductible? Kind of new to this and probably wouldn't have been worth trying to argue it after the fact that I signed off on stuff. So if I use this car for like 3 days I'm in it for like $60 in insurance. Also does anyone know how this buying the tank of gas works? I understood it as if I use so much then I pay there price of $5.60 a gallon. But I got told it was best to just buy the whole tank at $3.30 per gallon(best option seeing as gas is so much these days) And then to return it as close to empty as possible to get my moneys worth. If anyone can help me out so I know for next time if I can decline stuff or did I take the right steps and take there insurance so mine wouldn't be charged? After the fact I see I could have declined these.
""If I reported someone for a hit-and-run, can my insurance company raise my rates?""
My Dad takes care of our family car insurance policy with Mercury. Recently, they have asked about an incident which matches the date of a hit-and-run which I reported to police. Someone backed up into my car while I was not-in-motion, waiting to turn left at a four way intersection. They refused to pull over or get out of their car, and sped off soon after, so I reported it to the police. Now, Mercury wants to talk to me about it. The problem is that my Dad is convinced they will use this against me to get more money from us, because I was the only party who reported the incident. I did not file a claim with my insurance company because the only damage was minimal. How should I best handle this? It seems absurd that doing the right thing-- reporting an irresponsible driver-- could result in a penalty for me, doesn't it?""

State farm car insurance people?

Basically my renewal is up on 7/19-however, I wanted to switch to Geico. I have been with State Farm for 12 years and I am amazed at the service-or lack thereof-and their turn around time requirements. They are charging me $668.00 for the same exact coverage as Geico would for six months however, I've added towing/rental reimbursement with Geico and it's only $303/6 months. I have several policies with them, and should be getting a larger discount IMO. I've heard Geico is awesome with claims and have friends that have used them. Health insurance in Michigan for low income person?
Health insurance in Michigan for low income person I live in Chicago, but my mom lives in Northern Michigan. I am reaching out to the Yahoo Answers community for help. My mom is 55 and my dad is 65. My dad gets some health benefits because he is on Social Security, but my mom has nothing. My mom runs a foster care home for abused and mentally handicap kids. I dont know for sure what their income is, but I have to believe it would be in the high 20s to low 30s (nothing). I say foster home, but she really adopted these kids. Because she adopted them, I guess she is technically not employed by the State of Michigan and therefore gets no insurance. My mom is really sick and has no health insurance. She refuses to visit the hospital or a doctor because of the bills. My brother and I have offered time and again to pay for this, but she feels like she is being a burden. This time she finally agreed because she is really really hurting. Does anything here know of low cost assistance she would qualify for? I doubt any traditional health insurance would pick her up because of her age, and general bill of health. Even if they did, I bet the premiums would be too much, and the co-pays would be outrageous. Any direction you can point me in will be helpful for a starting point.""

Since I live outside the country, I don't have my own personal car insurance, as the country I live in doesn't require any. I have a PA driver's license, so I'm fine in that department. I just want to know - since the rental car companies don't explain anything - whether or not I need to have a my own insurance to take the car off the lot...OR, since the rental car companies are required by law to have liability coverage, which is the PA state minimum, am I able to just drive the car off the lot without ever giving proof of insurance. As far as I've been told, the last part is generally the standard - with the caveat that if I were to get into an accident, I would be responsible to all damage done to the vehicle itself, as well as myself. But I just want to make sure with anyone who's in the know.""

Riverdance..
Yesterday was my husband's birthday and keeping with the spirit of it being HIS DAY...I allowed him to choose our activities for the day.
We walked the dog...showered and dressed and drove to the 400 market where we walked around and he looked at NOTHING as usual...we stopped in to see Doris and discovered she is out of country as I suspected with an unknown date of return...so no luck with selling stuff...anyway...he kept asking me if I wanted things...I didn’t...we went outside.  He offered me fries...I asked for fresh fruit salad in a cup from the fruit and veggie stand outside...I had fresh fruit salad...mmmmm...we left.
Since I had my product in the trunk...I suggested we swing through cookstown and drop it off...if it’s in a store it at least has a chance of being sold...it’s not going to sell sitting in a box in my bedroom...so I dropped the box load of stuff off to Bernice...she was thrilled to have a pile of new stuff to set around...however...there is a crap tonne of stuff of mine there already...and well...it makes me just not want to make anything else...lol
SO...after visiting with her for about an hour...and helping sell a druzy pendant...lol...by fawning all over it...a customer had to have it...and her hubby just had to buy it for her...lol..seems that me wanting it...made him want to buy it for her...how silly!  but whatever..a sale is a sale...lol...and motivation is motivation...
She and I discussed my next combo project with her...I have something to work on...cool...makes me happy...to have an idea in mind...for something NEW and DIFFERENT...
We headed home so that I could shower and get ready to go to RIVERDANCE...
To be honest...I was super anxious about going...I don’t like NEW...and this was a new experience...stress kicked in big time and I was not in the best of moods...quite frankly didn’t want to go!
It being his day...and his choice to do so...we went...
The drive was long...and my back was already sore...from being stuck in the car and walking with him all morning around the market...I don’t like the highway...travel isn’t my best friend...but we got there...too early...so we had to kill time in the casino...he was happy to do so of course.  He offered me 20 0f his birthday money...I declined..I was not interested...I watched him waste 20 dollars then put another 50 in the machine...shaking my head...I just said...it’s your birthday money...whatever.  He played...and lost it all...almost...and on the last spin...he won!  51.50  He looked at me and then hit the cash out button...(maybe he learned something from me after all....!!!)
He took his 50 bucks and put it back in his wallet!  wow...improvement!
So...now...we still have 40 minutes till the doors even open...ugh...so we waited in the lobby with all the old people who came to see this show too!  The doors finally opened at 7...at which point we were seated...for an HOUR of wait time...and to torture me...I get to listen to celtic music (which by the way I fucking HATE WITH A PASSION)  Which just sets the mood...I know already I am not going to like the show...because the wait music is making my ears bleed and my head is starting to pound!  People slowly trickle in and it becomes a crowded sardine can of bodies...the seats are cheap and uncomfortable and my back is killing me...I just want to go home...and it’s 0nly 7:05....sigh....
we sit in an awkward silence...for the full hour...as I grow more and more anxious of the over crowded venue...I realize...we are in K 23...seat 15 and 16...nearly the middle of the room...and I feel like it’s closing in on me...and everything got really loud!  The show began and quite frankly did not improve for me at all.  I did not like the music and my headache was worse...the light effects that they were doing only served to make things worse forcing me to shut my eyes through much of it...and at times I had to hold my hands over my ears...It was loud and offensive to my brain...again...not making it a happy experience for me...I sat through it...hoping time would go faster and it would be over...but it dragged on till 9:30...when we finally got to shuffle out like cattle in a long slow moving line of gray hairs...mostly...
Finally escaped and we drove home...
He enjoyed the show...at least one of us did.
I don’t know why anyone would think I would like RIVERDANCE...knowing I hate celtic music?  (I make him turn enya off because I can’t stand it...um...anyway...it wasn’t supposed to be about me...or what I like or want...it was his birthday...we went FOR HIM...because HE WANTED TO....and I DID IT...even though I did not want to!)  I just don’t understand why he is confused about why I didn’t like it....why would I?
I don’t watch tv...or movies...I especially dont like  things like DANCE or CELTIC MUSIC!
so...going to a live celtic music dance show...probably not on my list of “let’s do that on purpose for fun”!  NOPE...not even close!
