It's probably gradually coming to my home country anyways but browsing grocery stores in the UK and seeing the abundance and availability of summer fruit in the middle of winter is really. Interesting.
#the availability of everything and the convenience. and noting how so much of the produce in the supermarkets comes from abroad.#it's just interesting to see#when i was in ireland they had basil imported from kenya#in morocco we usually wait until it's the season for certain fruit/vegetables. strawberries are barely on the market in summer.#mangoes are off as well in winter#spring onions ? only in spring if youre lucky#clementines and mandarines#only in autumn almost#if we want to reduce carbon emissions everyone will have to accept that everything cannot be available all the time
