"A Love in Code"
Tumblr media
Pairing: Spencer Reid x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 3.5k
Warnings: mutual pining, kinda slow-burn, kissing
Summary: On Valentine’s Day a secret admirer starts leaving you coded messages, book quotes, and thoughtful gifts.
a/n: it's really similar to my other Spencer Valentine’s fic, but I just loved the idea sooo much. I had to write another one! Enjoy! Happy Valentine’s Day my loves 🌷💝
February 14th – 8:12 AM
You weren’t expecting much for Valentine’s Day.
Sure, the BAU was like a family, and someone (probably Penelope) would bring in heart-shaped cookies. But you hadn’t planned anything special for yourself.
That changed the moment you arrived at your desk.
Sitting on your keyboard was a small, folded note with your name on it.
You frowned, glancing around. Everyone was going about their morning routine—JJ sipping coffee, Derek chatting with Emily, Spencer flipping through a book. No one seemed to be watching you.
Curious, you opened the note.
“When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.” – Arrigo Boito
Your breath caught.
A love quote? From who?
“Whatcha got there?” JJ appeared beside you, peeking over your shoulder.
You quickly folded the note. “Nothing! Just… something from a friend.”
JJ raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. “A special friend?”
You rolled your eyes, but your heart raced.
A secret admirer? Could it really be possible?
And if so… who?
10:45 AM
The second surprise came just before the team’s briefing.
You returned from the breakroom to find a small book sitting on your chair. Pride and Prejudice.
Your heart pounded as you picked it up. Tucked inside the front cover was another note.
“You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.” – Mr. Darcy
Your face burned.
Okay. This was real.
“Wow,” Emily said, appearing beside you. “Whoever this is, they know their romance novels.”
You forced a laugh, scanning the room. Spencer was flipping through his own book, not paying you any mind. Derek was smirking like he knew something.
Your mind raced.
Could it be… Spencer?
No. That was ridiculous.
Right?
2:30 PM
You spent most of the afternoon trying (and failing) to focus on work. Every time you thought about the notes, your heart fluttered.
Then, just as you returned from lunch, another surprise appeared on your desk.
A small box of chocolates.
Your hands shook as you picked up the attached note.
“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.” – Charles M. Schulz
Your stomach flipped.
“Alright,” Penelope declared, marching over. “I need to know who’s making you blush like that.”
You groaned. “I don’t know!”
She narrowed her eyes. “Oh, you definitely have a guess.”
You bit your lip.
Spencer.
It had to be him. The literary quotes, the thoughtful gifts—it all screamed Spencer.
But why would he keep it a secret?
Unless…
He was scared.
Just like you.
5:00 PM
You were packing up to leave when Spencer appeared at your desk.
“Hey,” he said, his voice slightly hesitant.
You smiled, trying to act normal. “Hey, Spence. What’s up?”
He shifted on his feet. “I, uh… I was wondering if you wanted to get coffee?”
Your heart pounded. “Coffee?”
He nodded. “I mean, if you don’t have plans, of course. I just thought… we could talk.”
Your pulse thrummed in your ears.
This was it.
You swallowed hard, then smiled. “I’d love to.”
6:15 PM – The Coffee Shop
The café was quiet, bathed in the soft hum of conversation and the gentle clinking of cups against saucers. The scent of roasted coffee lingered in the air, but you barely noticed it.
Spencer sat across from you, fingers tapping restlessly against his cup. The nervous energy rolling off him was something you weren’t used to—he was always so composed, even when discussing the most horrific cases.
But now, he looked… hesitant. Uncertain.
You took a deep breath, steadying yourself before pulling out the small stack of notes from your bag and placing them on the table between you.
“Spencer,” you said softly. “Was it you?”
His gaze dropped to the familiar handwriting on the notes.
He stilled.
For a moment, he didn’t speak. His lips parted slightly, his fingers tightening around the ceramic of his coffee cup. His mind was working through a million thoughts, you could tell—trying to calculate the best response, the least damaging outcome.
But there was only one truth.
His shoulders rose with a deep inhale, and then, finally, he met your eyes.
“I wanted to tell you,” he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. “But I didn’t know how.”
Your breath hitched.
“Spencer…” you prompted, leaning forward. “Why didn’t you just say something?”
He let out a soft, humorless chuckle, shaking his head. “Because I was scared. I’m not—” He paused, licking his lips. “I’m not good at things like this. I’ve spent my whole life being better with numbers and facts than with people. And you… you’re the exception to every rule I’ve ever known.”
Your heart squeezed.
“The exception?” you echoed.
He exhaled, rubbing the back of his neck, his nerves unraveling before your eyes. “I thought if I told you, it would ruin everything. You’re my best friend. And I was terrified of losing that, of making things complicated. But I also—” He let out a shaky breath. “I couldn’t not tell you.”
Your fingers trembled against the notes as you absorbed his words.
He had felt the same fear you had.
The same hesitation, the same nervous energy that had been plaguing you for months.
He had been scared of losing you.
The weight of it all crashed over you like a tidal wave, and suddenly, every glance, every stolen moment, every lingering touch between you over the years took on a new meaning.
Spencer Reid—the man who saw the world through logic and numbers, who feared unpredictability and chaos—had been in love with you all along.
Your throat tightened. “Spence…”
He swallowed hard, his hazel eyes filled with a quiet vulnerability. “I love you,” he confessed, the words escaping like an exhale he’d been holding in for far too long. “I think I’ve loved you for longer than I even realized. I just—” He shook his head. “I didn’t know how to say it until now.”
Your breath caught.
A warmth spread through your chest, replacing every doubt, every fear, every moment of uncertainty you had carried for so long.
Because you knew.
You knew that this—this man sitting in front of you, the one who had left you quotes from classic literature and chocolates and poetry—he was it.
He was everything.
You didn’t hesitate.
Reaching across the table, you laced your fingers with his. His hand was warm, slightly trembling, but he didn’t pull away.
“I love you too,” you whispered, the words spilling from your lips as naturally as breathing. “I have for so long, but I—” You shook your head, laughing softly at yourself. “I guess we’re both kind of idiots, huh?”
A slow, brilliant smile spread across his face, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “Yeah,” he murmured. “I guess we are.”
The warmth of his hand against yours sent electricity up your spine, and suddenly, sitting across from him wasn’t enough.
You stood, heart racing, and Spencer followed suit without hesitation. There was no awkwardness, no hesitation—just an unspoken understanding as you met him halfway, closing the space between you.
Your hands moved to his face, fingers brushing along his sharp jawline. His own hands settled at your waist, hesitant but firm.
And then, you kissed him.
It was soft at first—a gentle meeting of lips, like the first note of a song waiting to be played. But then he responded, tilting his head, deepening the kiss just enough to make your heart stutter.
His fingers curled into your waist, pulling you just a little closer, and for the first time in forever, you weren’t overthinking a single thing.
You just let yourself feel.
When you finally pulled away, breathless and lightheaded, Spencer rested his forehead against yours, a small, incredulous laugh escaping him.
“I can’t believe it took me this long,” he murmured.
You grinned, brushing your thumb along his cheek. “Better late than never, Dr. Reid.”
He huffed a laugh. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” he whispered, his breath ghosting against your lips.
You smiled.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Spence.”
And as you stood there in the dimly lit café, hands still tangled together, you knew—this was the start of something extraordinary.
Something that had been written in the stars all along.

hiii, I hope you’re doing great, could i request aJoe x fem reader where reader has pots and its a bad day for her and Joe just got back from a bad day at training, and she doesn’t want to add more preoccupations to he’s plate, so she doesn’t tell him that she’s been struggling all day with dizziness and all of that until it gets serious and he’s all worried. Love you stories btw🩷🩷
Hi of course!! Thank you🩷
……………………………………………………………………….
Today was the worst. You felt dizzy and even nauseous. You didn’t sleep well last night which didn’t help at all.
You kept having to stop in the middle of the work day to sit down. Whether that be on the floor or in your office chair. You couldn’t focus. You almost spilled your coffee on your white pants this morning from the shaking of your hands.
You couldn’t wait to go home.
Joe also didn’t have the best day. He just got back from the Panthers game after the win on Sunday. He obviously was happy about the win but his hand kept bothering him from how many times he fell on it. The meetings he had were long. His physical therapy wasn’t the greatest thing today and all he wanted was you.
You got home before Joe. Dropped you things down and headed upstairs then the dizziness hit again. You sat on the bed and tried to breathe. You couldn’t take it anymore. You felt your heart start to beat faster. Then the anxiety kicked in.
“Babe?” - joe called from downstairs
No answer.
Joe saw your car so he knew you were home.
He headed into the bedroom.
“Y/n-”- Joe
He ran over to you.
“Hey, hey look at me.”- Joe squatted down to be at eye level
“Y/n, I’m right here. Breathe in and out with me.”- joe
Joe guided you. In and out. In and out.
“Good.”- Joe
You had tears running down your face. Your heart rate was going back to normal. You still felt shaky and a little dizzy.
“I’m..I’m ok.”- you
“You’re not, y/n. You still look a little bit nauseous and your hands are still shaking.”- Joe
“I said I’m fine.”- you got up
Joe quickly bolted up.
“You’re not, y/n! Please sit back down.I want to get you some water.”- Joe
“You don’t need to Joe, I’m…I’m ok. You’ve dealt with enough today.”- you
“Y/n, just let me help you, please!”- Joe
You stood there
“Ok, let’s get you something to eat and drink. Stay here.”- Joe
He lead you back to the bed.
“I’ll be back.”- Joe
He left.
After a couple minutes he came back. He was holding a plate of fruits and some water.
“Here, take this.”- joe
You were sitting on the edge of the bed. Knees tucked to your chest.
“Thank you.”- you
Joe sat next to you as you took the plate.
You took some bites from the strawberry’s and bananas.
Joe pulled a strand of hair away from your face.
“You don’t have to be afraid to let me in. I’m your boyfriend. Let me help you. I want to help you even on a really shitty day or on an amazing day. You don’t need to go through this alone.”- Joe
You looked at him.
You nod.
“Thank you. Truly.”- you gave a small smile
“I had the worst day today.”- you say picking up a grape
“I was so dizzy and tired. I couldn’t even focus. I just wanted to come home. I..I just hate this. I hate it.”- You
“I’m so sorry. I know it sucks. But we will figure out a plan. A plan to help. Ok?”- Joe
You nod.
Joe gives you a kiss on the head
“I love you.”- Joe
“I love you too.”- You
Joe then steals a strawberry.
“Hey!”- you
Joe laughs
“I just wanted to come home to you. I didn’t have a great day either.”- Joe
“Oh, I’m sorry. What happened?”- You
Joe goes on to tell you about his day. These are the moments you cherish. Even when he is telling you about how bad his day was and you feel horrible that he had such a day, but you feel grateful that you get to have these moments. The moments when you aren’t worried about getting dizzy or fatigued. The only thing that matters is being able to have these laughs with someone who you love more than anything. More than life itself. You’re grateful to have someone like him. Someone who gets you. Who sees you. Joe also loves you then anything or anyone in this universe. You feel like home to him. He hates seeing you like this. Hates it. He knows it sucks but he also knows that you are strong and brave to get through anything. He loves you and you love him.
…………………….
After a couple weeks Joe starts to get more worried. You start to have more bad days and sleepless nights.
You were on the couch taking a nap.
Joe was getting dinner ready for the both of you in the kitchen when his phone rang.
“Hey, mom.”- Joe whispered
“Hey, honey! Everything ok?”- Robin
Joe didn’t say anything for a second. Then a tear came down his cheek.
“I..hate seeing her like this. She’s not sleeping and is getting dizzy and fatigued. I just wish there were more ways I could help.”- Joe
“Aw, Joey. Having you by her side is all she needs. She is strong. Just keep an eye on her and see if you can check her heart rate on your phone through an app.”- Robin
“Yeah, that’s a good idea mom. Thank you.”- Joe
“Of course. I love you.”- Robin
“Love you too.”- Joe
He hangs up.
He brings over the plate of food to you.
He runs his hands through your hair to wake you up.
“Here baby. Have something to eat.”- Joe
You sat up.
“Thank you.”- You
“You’re welcome.”- Joe
Joe sits next to you
“Just eat up and then we can cuddle.”- Joe
You dig into your food while watching the office.
As the weeks go on you start to get into a routine. Managing your heart rate and what you eat. Joe gets to check your heart rate on his phone now. Which means getting a text every 20 minutes.
You ok?
How do you feel?
Drink some water.
Please go sit down baby
You liked the gesture. Knowing he’s taking care of you.
You know everything will be ok if you have Joe by your side.

MASTERLIST
pairing: XO, Kitty's Min Ho x Female Reader
genre: Fluff, angst, exes-to-lovers, slow burn, coming-of-age.
word count: 5.3k (not proofread yet!)
warnings: cussing, jealousy, heist (aka don't do that kids).
summary: despite you and min ho growing closer once again, he still sends you mixed signals about what he wants. and you don't know how long you can handle this back and forth. especially when you know you'll be spending seollal with him... and stella.
note: Bold - Korean, Italic - Over the phone
(let me know by filling the form in my bio if you want to be added to the taglist!)
Tumblr media
As soon as you saw Stella, you pushed Min Ho away from you. She was beyond mad, she was hurt. Before you could say anything, she shook her head in disappointment and left as she disappeared into the school building. You looked at Min Ho, who was avoiding your eyes.
"You didn't tell her you weren't interested, did you?"
With a sigh, he shook his head no. "I didn't get to speak to her, let's say."
"A text, Min Ho, no?" you said in disbelief.
"The one I was really trying to text was not responding."
"Yeah, and you should have taken it as a sign maybe."
His Adam's apple bopped. "Then why did you kiss me?"
You pointed at him. "You're the one who kissed me."
"What? Why would I want to kiss you?"
It felt like a knife went through your heart. You were baffled that, only seconds ago, you were letting yourself fall in love with him again. Although he was noticeably frustrated with you, it wasn't hard to see he regretted what he said right after the words left his mouth.
"Sorry, it just-"
"Whatever, Min Ho..."
Crossing your arms, you held them close to your body. To this, he took his jacket off and wrapped it around you. Your face still showed anger but you did nothing to stop him.
"I'll talk to Stella," he assured.
"Yeah, and I will too. I'll say this was in the spur of the moment."
He scoffed. "So, it meant nothing?"
Your shoulders dropped. "What do you want me to say?"
His mouth opened to say something but nothing came out. Visibly, he was as confused as you were. And while you didn't hate it, you were afraid you only hurt yourself.
"Sure," he finally spoke. "It was in the spur of the moment."
The corner of your mouth lifted the slightest, a sign of gratitude. "Thanks. We're good?"
"We're good."
You shared a hug that you could describe as the most awkward physical interaction you'd had in life, and you went your separate ways, not forgetting to give back his jacket beforehand. By then, hunger had died down and the softness of your mattress was all you could think of. You dreaded the discussion you'd have to share with Stella, but you couldn't just stop yourself from going home.
When you walked in, she was on her laptop and sat on the couch. At the sound of you entering the place, she glared at you before focusing on the screen again. You slowly approached her.
"Hey, can we talk?"
She frowned. "About how you promised nothing was going on with Min Ho before giving me his number, only to kiss him right in front of me?"
Ouch. As much as you hated hearing that, you couldn't deny that she was pretty spot on.
"It's not what it looks like-"
She suddenly shut the laptop before looking at you right in the eyes. "Did you do it to humiliate me or something?"
"What? Of course not!"
"Then explain to me what is going on," she breathed out, her voice softening.
You allowed yourself to take a seat next to her. "Min Ho and I, we have a complicated relationship. I am trying my best to become his friend again, no feelings involved. What you saw earlier was nothing but a moment of weakness where we both fell back into old feelings. I swear, it was nothing."
She cocked her head to the side. "It seemed pretty passionate to me."
"I promise, it meant nothing. Have him all you want, I won't overstep again."
Even if you were more trying to convince yourself than her, she ended up accepting your explanation, thanking you for being honest with her. But were you?
Tumblr media
You hurried to join Dae and Kitty as soon as you saw them in the crowd. Q had been showering the whole gang with messages about how the track meet was important to him, meaning he wanted everyone to be there for him. Your only surprise was to not see his face among the team, who was already settled for the track to start. Out of breath, you joined your two friends who seemed as lost as you were.
"This is crazy. Where is Q?" Dae spoke what everyone was thinking.
"I have no idea, but that is the guy he was all over last night at the club," Kitty pointed to one of the track members.
Dae scoffed. "Q ditched me for Jin? But he's Q's rival, and he's a big jerk."
"Yeah, well, looks like Q might have gotten played," you sighed before turning to take a look around in hopes to spot Q.
That when you saw Min Ho and Stella, seated in a very cozy manner on the bleachers. While Stella waved at you kindly, Min Ho stared at the floor, visibly ashamed you 'caught' him hanging out with the person he was supposedly not interested in — also considering he kissed you the day prior. You were not going to let it affect you. Like you had both established, it meant nothing.
Alex coming out to announce start of the race was enough to make you forget about that weird feeling in your stomach. "Runners, please take your marks for the 100-meter dash qualifying. The winner will represent KISS-"
"We have to do something!" Kitty exclaimed.
You nodded. "I have an idea."
Before either could question you, you ran to the track. You purposefully dropped your bracelet, one that belonged to your mother, and began to act distressed as you looked around the ground. You didn't hesitate to let out grunts of frustration and comments on your foolishness for losing your jewelry.
The crowd began to chatter amongst themselves, wondering why you were interrupting the race. Kitty and Dae were trying to tell you with hand movements to stop, but you couldn't let Alex start the run when Q wasn't here.
"Y/N, get off the track!" Alex called out.
Out of panic — well mostly because you ran out of ideas — you dropped on the ground, faking to have fainted. Frankly, the ground was quite comfortable as you closed your eyes, only feeling the wind grazing against your skin... and fingers?
"Y/N!" Min Ho yelled, worried. "Y/N, you all right?"
As he rubbed your shoulder, shaking it slightly to see if you were fine, you opened an eye to glare at him. "I'm trying to cause a diversion, dummy!"
His shoulders relaxed, but he couldn't help but roll his eyes. He held his hand out for you to grab, and by hearing Q finally arriving, you took it. Helping you up, he could only chuckle.
"What?"
"That's the last thing I'd have expected you to do. I mean, since when do you like being the center of attention."
It was your turn to roll your eyes. "I don't. But I care about Q, who should be both our focus right now."
You didn't let him reply as you joined your friends — and Stella, to cheer on Q. As soon as the race started, your eyes were fixated on him. He started out great, being the first up. However, it didn't take long for Jin to surpass him.
"Come on, Q," you muttered to yourself.
"Let's go!" Kitty encouraged.
Unfortunately, the cheers you heard were all for Jin who made it first. You still all clapped, although you were visibly disappointed.
Tumblr media
"Have I been mean to Juliana?"
You groaned, throwing your book at the end of your bed. All you wanted was one morning without Kitty complaining about ruining Yuri and Juliana living together by letting it slip out in front of Principal Lee. So far, so good since you were the one to take Yuri's bed in their room. That worked out for you since you wanted to avoid Stella. Yeah, because Min Ho clearly did not turn her down and they continued to be 'a thing'.
"What did you do, now?"
"Nothing!" she almost yelled, making you jump. "She was eating her cereal, then I tried to confide to her about Praveena, but she just left. She said she had stuff to do but I think she's making up excuses. Did I say something?"
"Beside the fact you were the cause for Yuri to move out?"
She deadpanned at you. "Yes, beside that."
You shrugged. "She might actually have something to do."
She whined. "You're not helping."
"Forget about them," you said, getting off your bed and grabbing your school bag. "We have to get to the assembly anyway."
Min Ho: Y/N?
"Uh..." you stopped on your tracks.
"Everything alright?" Kitry questioned, trying to catch a glimpse of your phone screen.
"Yeah, you go ahead. I'll join you at the assembly."
She seemed unsure but nodded nonetheless before leaving you alone. You looked in her room to see if Stella was still home, and when you noticed no signs of her, you dialed Min Ho's number.
He picked up right away. "I thought you'd ignore me!"
"What do you want?" you cut right to the chase.
"I was just grabbing coffee before class. Since we don't live in the same dorm anymore, I just wanted to know if you wanted one."
You scoffed. "What about your girlfriend? What is she going to say when she learns you're getting your ex coffee?"
"Hey, we're still friends, no? And Stella's not my girlfriend."
You hesitated. But, coffee is coffee after all. "Alright. You know how I like it?"
"How can I forget?"
You could hear the smile from his voice and, ultimately, it made you smile too. "I'll join you in a bit, then?"
"Just hurry before it gets cold."
And so, you took off, not forgetting to grab your umbrella in the process since it was raining lightly. It took you less than five minutes from your dorm to the coffee trailer. Min Ho, in all of his glory, stood patiently next to it with two cups in hands and his hair slightly damped since he put his umbrella away until you arrived. He was rocking his body back and forth, visibly waiting.
"You could have gotten me a large," you commented, grabbing his attention.
He chuckled. "For you, m'lady," he held the coffee to you.
You grabbed it, glad to see it was still warm. "Thanks."
He opened his umbrella again and you walked side by side towards the school building. Taking a sip, you were more than happy to get warmed up. Plus, it was just how you liked it.
"The ones you make are still better," you pointed out.
"I know," he cocked an eyebrow. "I hate to say this but it is different without you at the dorms."
"Don't get all nostalgic, it doesn't suit you."
He sipped his coffee before shrugging. "It's a fact, though. I have nobody to bicker with."
Your eyes grew, offended, and just when you were about to give him a slight slap on the arm, you were quickly interrupted by his father.
"So, how's my favourite student doing?" Mr. Moon asked, only for Min Ho to react disgusted.
"A bit early for blatant nepotism, dad."
"I was talking to your girlfriend, the shark," he pointed towards you and you body stiffened.
"Sorry about that... again. And we're not-"
He cut you off. "It's okay, I loved it," he complimented before turning to his son. "So, have you decided about the cabin for the long weekend?" Noticing Min Ho only seemed confused, he continued. "Just you and me, one-on-one on the slopes? You used to love when I took you skiing as a kid."
"That was Joon Ho. Not me. Anyways, Stella and I have plans this weekend."
"Oh I thought-" Mr. Moon started, glancing at you for a second. "Nevermind. Well, it would be a shame to let this house go to waste, again," he said before leaving the two of you be.
"Y/N-" Min Ho started, obviously wanting to explain the Stella thing.
But you ignored it. "Your dad's not doing a Seollal get-together with the whole family?"
He sighed, upset by your avoidance but he still answered. "All my siblings are spending the holidays with their moms. Joon Ho is on tour, meaning I'm his last resort."
"I mean, he is still putting in the effort of asking you. Who knows, maybe it's a chance for you to-"
"Torture myself?" he interrupted you. "Forget it. We have an assembly to go to before class."
The assembly in itself was not so interesting, as per usual. Stella joined Min Ho, to begin with, which did not please you much. Especially seeing her hold Min Ho's arm the way you used to. Otherwise, Alex was trying his best to catch the students' interest, which was pretty sad to watch. Madison was being the Korean obsessed girl that she is. And Mr. Moon had to steal the show. He announced a student talent showcase at the end of the semester where the winner would receive a cash prize. At the mention of it, you immediately looked at Dae.
And by the end of the assembly, your friends seemed to have the same thought as they encouraged Dae to sign up for it, while Kitty and Stella followed behind the four of you, having a conversation of their own.
"You have to enter the contest," Q said excitedly. "You have the voice of an angel."
Dae nodded. "My family could use the money. But singing is just, like, my hobby."
"I got you, bro. I'll coach you. Manager-performer dream team, baby," Min Ho offered. "And, I won't even take commission."
Dae chuckled, remaining doubtful. "But do you think I could actually win?"
"Yeah," you and Q affirmed.
That visibly encouraged him. "Okay, then. Let's do it."
Tumblr media
Arriving at the dance studio, you came to fetch Dae after he texted you. Apparently, Min Ho and Eunice were making his first rehearsal hell and knowing you, he hoped you could get him out of it. As you walked in, you were less than surprised to see Stella tagging along as she observed Dae dancing messily. You chuckled to yourself, leaning on the door frame to not disturb them. You wanted to see Dae suffer a bit, it was kind of funny.
"This isn't going to work," he let out, discouraged.
Eunice scoffed. "It is not my fault that you can't handle a little constructive criticism."
Stella sighed. "Okay, why don't you tell them your brilliant idea?" she asked Min Ho, not forgetting to touch his arm in the process.
You swallowed whatever feeling you were having as Min Ho spoke. "Well, I thought of the cherry on top for your performance. When the song ends, you spin around, bend her back, and lay one on her."
Dae frowned. "What do you mean, 'lay one on her'?"
"What I mean is..."
You wanted a show, you got a show. Spinning Stella around, Min Ho swiftly held her before bending her back, just like he had described. And he laid one on her. Their lips met briefly but the small gesture was enough to make your eyes water. What hurt even more was Stella's satisfied grin, like she had won something. Maybe she did.
"My boy's right."
You jumped at the voice while Mr. Moon walked in the room past you. Finally, Min Ho spotted you. You couldn't tell what his face was saying, but it was nothing good. It was a mix of shame, fear, guilt... And to be honest, you couldn't care less about how he was feeling.
"Your instinct is so spot on, son," he continued and Min Ho nodded, thankful. "All right, I won't distract you. I just wanted to say Baek Jong Won said he'll be happy to cook a dinner at the cabin this weekend. I know how much you love his ramyun."
"The famous chef?" Stella asked, stars in her eyes almost.
"Yeah, he's just a family friend. Think about it." He turned around to leave and smiled at you in acknowledgement as he went past you again. "Miss Park, always a pleasure."
"Your dad's really trying," Stella said, but was ignored.
"Where were we?" Min Ho went back to Eunice and Dae.
"I was just about to leave," Dae said, looking at you. "Sorry, I can't do this."
He joined you while the others called for him. Min Ho frowned, looking back and forth at the both of you but you just took Dae's wrist and rushed to get him out of there — get you both out of there. Deciding you both deserved food for each of your problems, you went to the convenience store to get some instant noodles together. You insisted that it was on you, and even if Dae tried to pay for himself, he ended up letting you take care of it.
Finally seated, you both slurped in silence, enjoying the flavours rather than speak about your issues. That was something the both of you needed terribly. But you couldn't avoid it for too long.
"I think I won't do the talent showcase," Dae stated.
You moved your eyes from your food to him. "One bad rehearsal does not mean you have to give up."
"Did you see me there, Y/N? I was a mess."
You shook your head. "You were definitely out of your comfort zone, but you weren't a mess. You had three people working with you, that's something. They know you've got what it takes."
He sighed. "I don't know... Ah, and sorry about Min Ho. I didn't know they would kiss in front of you or..."
You smiled. "Thank you for worrying, but I'm fine. You know just like me that it's hard, but you have to accept it won't be the same anymore."
He nodded in agreement. "You and me are pretty much on the same boat, yeah."
"Besides, I'm just glad he at least found someone nice and not some random fangirl."
You both shared some laughter. It felt amazing to spend time with him like this. You reminded yourself once more that he was a true friend you could rely on.
The moment was short as you phone began to ring. Both of you looked at the contact. Speaking of your exes, Kitty was the one calling you.
"What's up?" you answered.
"You know how quiet and subtle you are?"
You raised an eyebrow, unsure as to what she was saying. "I guess."
"I'm planning a small heist with Praveena, but we need help..." she said, trying to not sound too crazy.
"Kitty!"
"I need my mom's time capsule and the only way I can get it is by stealing it."
You shut your eyes, discouraged. "How did you come up with that idea?"
"It was Praveena's, actually. Please, Y/N, I really could use some help."
You breathed out. "You can sneak in without me."
"You know how to walk in a room without being noticed. I could use you as a guide!"
"Ugh... Fine, I'll come."
"Oh my God, you're an angel."
"I am aware," you chuckled.
"I do need one last favor from you, though. Please?"
You paused. "What is it?"
Tumblr media
Dressed in dark clothes, you followed Kitty to the archives to join Praveena. For a date, this was... something for sure. You spotted the girl soon enough and she waved at you all.
"Oh, great. You brought the mouse and the muscle."
"I'm the muscle?" Min Ho asked and you lightly kicked his side with your elbow.
"Don't get too excited. Like I said, we just need someone tall enough to reach the high stuff," you snorted. "And Dae and Q were busy, so..."
"Hmm, are you sure it's not because you wanted to see me tonight?"
You glared at him. "After having to disinfect my eyes after you and missy's kiss, no thanks."
"Okay," Praveena stopped your bicker. "Huddle up, here's the plan."
You all formed a circle, huddled up, and it was hard to ignore Min Ho's hand placed around your waist. Of fucking course he was still sending you mixed signals while clearly being happy with Stella.
Praveena went on explaining the plan. You immediately got into action and she walked in, acting as a distraction. She exchanged with the old lady at the front desk before signaling for you three to get in. You discreetly crouched down and you rushed in, making as little noise as possible. Kitty and Min Ho followed your lead and you finally got in. You allowed yourself to stand up and turn on your flashlights.
"Why are we going through all this?" Min Ho complained.
"Because I have a whole other side of my family that my mom came here to find. So if this time capsule has a clue on how I can track them down, I have to have it," Kitty whisper-yelled.
"How touching," he said with no emotion whatsoever, causing you to bump the side of his body again. "Hey, will you stop?"
"Show a bit of empathy, here," you rolled your eyes.
"Well, personally, I'd love to erase the existence of half of my family."
Kitty let out a chuckle before going on about looking through the files. Meanwhile, you and Min Ho looked around aimlessly as you keep discussing.
"Correct me if I'm wrong but did your dad fund an entire arts program to spend time with you?"
"That's his move. Big, shallow gesture to make up for not being there. Like inviting me to a ski cabin for Seollal."
"I mean, do you want to fix things with him? I remember you telling me you do miss him," you pointed out, recalling one of your dates.
"I guess so," he admitted. "But... one-on-one time with him is always stressful. It'd be different if there were a bunch of family members around, like there's supposed to be on Seollal. Or even just very annoying and unpleasant people like yourself. As a buffer."
You hummed, faking a smile. "How kind of you," you said before joining Kitty, starting to get annoyed yourself.
He followed you and placed a hand on your shoulder to stop you. "What if we did that?"
You scoffed. "Use me as your buffer?"
"Well, you and the guys. And might as well ask Covey."
Kitty turned to you at the mention of her name. "Oh! I mean, it'd be more fun than hanging out here for the holiday."
You, for once, agreed. "Yeah, I guess. And we'll have your back if your dad's being difficult."
"Still looking out for me, how sweet," he joked.
"Like you said, I'm still your friend."
He was about to say something but noise coming from the front door made you all hide behind shelves.
"Professor Lee, I can assure you I know aisle 12!" Praveena yelled for you to hear.
"Wait, this is aisle 12!" Kitty whispered making you all change you hiding spot. While Kitty took the left, you and Min Ho too the right.
"Why are you shouting?" Mr. Lee asked Praveena. "I am perfectly capable of hearing you as well. I'm not as old as you think."
"I don't think you're old!"
You tried to peek but Min Ho grabbed you a which inevitably brought you back down. "Are you trying to get us caught?"
"I was just-"
He immediately placed his hand over your mouth to hush you. Meanwhile, his eyes glimmered with the little light there was. You began to breathe heavily and you thought he was doing so too. You did feel his hand getting sweaty and a blush a appeared on both of your faces.
"Y/N, about earlier-"
You stopped him, removing his hand from your face. "I'm happy for you."
He frowned. "No, I'm not-"
"I am, really. Stella seems to care about you."
"Don't fake being happy when I'm hurting you."
Kitty joining you lot made you push him away from you as you both stood on your feet. You hadn't even noticed Praveena and Lee were gone by then.
"Praveena just saved our asses. I mean, it's only our second date," she smiled but you and Minho exchanged a look.
"Date?" you scoffed.
"Kitty, she's sweet-talking an old lady whilst you're third-wheeling who used to be the hottest couple in school."
You buried your face in your hands, getting reminded of his cocky ass. "He just meant that it's not much of a date."
"Why don't you bring her skiing?"
Kitty shrugged. "That's kind of a big step." You and Min Ho sighed but Kitty's eyes then lit up. "Oh my God, I think that's it."
Following whete she was pointing at, you finally located the time capsule. Min Ho was quick to get to work, grabbing it for Kitty. Once you've acquired it, you lost no time in getting the hell out of there to join Praveena who was patiently waiting outside. Kitty ran to her for a hug.
"I cannot believe that actually worked. Oh, I wish I had a way to thank you."
"Oh, please," she brushed it off.
Again, you and Min Ho exchanged a look, knowing damn well that you were thinking the exact same thing. And of course, you hated that you still had this type of dynamic.
"Praveena, do you ski?" he asked.
"No, but I snowboard."
Kitty jumped in. "Any chance you want to come with us this weekend to Min Ho's dad's ski cabin?"
"You're inviting me to the Kris Jenner of Korea's vacation home? Hell yeah I wanna come."
"Cool," Kitty giggled. "I can't wait!"
They both began to walk away. As you were about to do the same, Min Ho stopped you by grabbing your hand. You immediately broke away from his hold.
"What?"
He cocked his head to the side. "Don't make this face with me."
"What do you want?"
Seeing you were going to keep the attitude, he spoke. "I know you wanted to cause a diversion the other day, but you forgot your bracelet on the ground."
He took it out of his pocket, presenting it to you. It was still as pretty as shiny as it always has been, maybe even more.
"Min Ho," you breathed out, taking it from him.
"I got it cleaned and I wanted to give it to you when we got coffee. But my dad kind of ruined the moment, so..."
You held it to your chest. "Whatever, I'm just glad I have it back. I forgot that's when I removed it. Thank you."
He nodded. "My pleasure."
He started to walk away, but you were the one to stop him now. "I... My aunt gave me a letter from my father. I haven't opened it yet and I thought we could open it together? I mean, it would definitely help me to read it and maybe it could help you with everything going on with your dad."
He couldn't keep his smile to himself. "I would love to."
Tumblr media
The Seollal festival was something everyone had been looking forward to, but especially Juliana. Being the one who she shared her room with now, you listened to her nervousness about exposing her art more than enough. So when it finally came, you were ecstatic to not have to hear about it. And you were also happy for her, obviously.
"Thanks for helping me with setting up the booth."
"No worries," you smiled. "I do want to get food before it runs out..."
She laughed. "Go! Anyway, Yuri should be here any minute."
You ran to get any food you could lay your hands on. It went from Korean delicacies to traditional sweets. And man those sweets were good. From afar, you caught a glimpse of Dae. He seemed to have seen you at the same time since he was already signing for you to come join him. You made your way through the crowd and finally reached him. When you spotted Bora, his little sister, you saw she was eating the same one you had just gotten for yourself.
"Bora, look! We like the same things."
Her eyes grew. "Dae keeps saying it's too sugary, but I think he has bad taste."
You crouched to whisper in her ear. "Between you and me, I think you're right."
She laughed and Dae could only sigh. "Bora, that's your last sweet," he warned and she nodded.
As you sat down, you finally noticed the happy couple who was sat just next to Bora. While you gave Stella a warm smile, you bluntly ignored Min Ho. When you were alone, you were more than happy to be friendly. In front of his new girlfriend, however, it was better to not interact to avoid any argument — that included between you and him, them, or you and her. She was your roommate, you had to have her back somehow.
"Since when do you like children?" he asked.
"You don't know everything about me. That, or you don't pay attention when I talk."
You stared at him with mischievous eyes and he quickly caught on you were simply teasing him. Two could play this game.
"Try me."
Stella put her hand on his arm. "Min Ho," she said in a warning tone.
"What? I like a challenge."
You raised an eyebrow. "Rain check on that, your girlfriend's right. Save your knowledge for trivia night at your dad's cabin."
She seemed to agree with you. "That sounds fun, we should do that instead."
He huffed. "Fine, but we'll see who knows the other better."
The rest of the event went on smoothly surprisingly. Min Ho and you did bicker a lot but Stella joined in instead of being bothered about it. In fact, she and you kind of bonded over some quirks you could not stand about Min Ho. In a way, it felt bittersweet to know she was now the one to enjoy Min Ho's chivalry. On another part, bonding with Stella allowed you to see this as a new chapter. Yes, maybe there will always be a weird tension between Min Ho and you, but you knew you could go past it.
And now, it was time for ski.
"Have you packed?" Stella asked after knocking at your door.
"I just need a few more things and I'll join you."
"I'll be waiting at the cars outside."
You exchanged a smile and you continued to pack. Min Ho did mention there would be a hot tub. And Q did encourage you to buy that one swimsuit when you went shopping. That can never hurt, right? The only thing missing now was the letter. And for the life of you, you could not find it. You were convinced you left it in the bottom drawer of your desk but it was like it vanished into thin air. To say you were frustrated would be an understatement. You were on full panic mode. This was one of the last things your dad left before dying, and your aunt entrusted you with it. How could you lose it?
Seeing that time was passing, you concluded you'd have to look for it when you'd be back. Maybe ask Kitty or Min Ho to help you. Closing your suitcase, you grabbed your coat and headed out.
Only... when you opened the door... you were at loss for words. Not even that, you completely froze at the sight in front of you.
"Covey, cars are here. Let's go!" Min Ho yelled out as he bursted in your dorm.
When his eyes landed on Kitty and Yuri kissing, his reaction was identical to yours. Joining him, you were then noticed by the pair who showed nothing but shame.

MORE ENHYPEN JEALOUS MOMENTS
Tumblr media
Enhypen x 8thmember!oc
synopsis : Times where the Enhypen members were jealous over Roza.
wc : 2.7k
Tumblr media
Heeseung : “Where are you going?” Heeseung asked, popping his head into Roza’s room. “It's Ryujin’s birthday, she's invited some of us out for dinner.” “oh that will be nice.” And Roza blushed as she continued to get ready and Heeseung watched her. “You look pretty.” He whispered. “Okay, that's enough.” “Sorry, sorry.” He smiled making his way back to his room. Now sitting at his desk about to get on his game Jungwon walks in. “Did you see Roza, she's heading out now.” “yeah i just saw her.” Heeseung watched as Jungwon stood at the door like he wanted to say something. “What?” “did you know Keeho’s gonna be there.” Jungwon smirked as Heeseung snapped his head back to Jungwon. “What… Keeho’s going to Ryujin's birthday dinner?” “Yeah, Sooyoung just told me. Thought i should let you know.” Jungwon left knowing the chaos he caused in Heeseung’s head.
Should he call her or was that being too much. Heeseung sat in his chair, his mind going through all things that could happen. What if Keeho and Roza sit together, what if they talk and get closer. He needed to distract his mind with some games. A couple hours had passed and Roza still wasn't home, so Heeseung decided to make some ramen to pass more time. He served it up and sat eating while his thoughts overtook his mind. He hated how he felt when Roza was around Keeho. Yes they broke up but they ended things on good terms and are still friends. He shouldn't be jealous right? Heeseung didn't have anything against Keeho, he just didn't want him anywhere near Roza.
He finished eating and right before he went back to his room he heard the door open. And suddenly all that jealousy came right back. “How was the dinner…” Roza noticed the slight rage in his tone. “Good… what's up with you?” her voice slowed as she looked at him. “I don't know, why don't you ask Keeho.” Heeseung mumbles. “Keeho? Why would I ask him?” “I mean wasn't he there. Talking to you, bet he didn't leave you alone all night.” Roza left confused as Heeseung got more annoyed.
“Keeho wasn't there, it was just us girls. No need to get jealous.” Heeseung stood still as he processed what she just said. “But Jungwon said he was gonna be there…” “what? That makes no sense. Why would Jungwon know that?” “I don't know…” Roza laughed as Heeseung’s eyebrows furrowed. “You need to calm it with the Keeho hate. You're making it a bit obvious.” “I don't hate him…” Roza eyed him. “Yeah, sure Hee.” Now he stood in the doorway dumbfounded. Jungwon got him good.
Jay : Jay loved spending alone time with Roza, especially after a long week. So when Jay and Roza were relaxing in her room after a busy week of schedule, the last thing he needed was Niki coming in to disrupt them. “Noona can I join you guys?” “Yes Niki, you can.” Roza said joyfully, opening her arms to invite him for a hug. Which Niki accepted. Jay was pissed. That should be him, it felt silly. Him, jealous over Niki.
He knew Niki could tell, he was doing it on purpose to piss him off. And he hated that it was working. “Noona I missed you…” Niki smirked at Jay. “awe Niki, i missed you too.” Roza none the wiser played perfectly into Niki’s plan. “We should do something tomorrow. Maybe bowling?” “Funny you say that Jay and I are gonna go shopping tomorrow, you should come.” Jay sat up and stared at Roza. “umm, no he's not.” “why not?” “It was gonna be some alone time for us. Can do that if you have a giant baby hanging on your arms.” Roza laughed as Jay ranted.
“Woah, calm down Jay. Niki doesn't have to come, it was just a suggestion.” Niki giggled as Jay rolled his eyes. “Sorry hyung, i just wanted to spend time with my Noona.” “yeah whatever, I know what you were up to.” “And you still fell for it… I'm gonna go now.” Niki smirked once before he left the duo alone. “You missed me too, huh?” “yeah, yeah… come here.” Jay pulled Roza into a bear hug.
Jake : Jake has been playing League of Legends recently and Roza has also been wanting to play. Jake was more than happy to teach her. He and Roza had spent many nights up playing and Jake loved it. There's nothing more he loves than personal time. So when Jake came home from a schedule to find Roza and Sunghoon playing League of Legends, he felt something in his gut twist.
“What are you doing?” Jake asked as he stood behind Roza, watching her play. “Oh, I'm playing League of Legends with Sunghoon. He's really good, you know.” Jake's smile dropped. “I'm better than him though. Aren't i?” His eyes looked over her face as she stayed quiet. “Come on, you don't think Sunghoon is better than me?” “He's ranked higher than you. The facts don't lie, Jakey.” Jake rolled his eyes, annoyed but knowing he can't ignore the truth. “Fine. play with Sunghoon. I don't care…” Roza watched as Jake dragged his feet back to his room.
Roza quickly shut down her game and found her way to Jake's room. “Hey.” “What do you want?” Jake turned his back to Roza. “I wanna spend some time with you, is that a crime?” “Go spend time with Sunghoon.” Roza sighed as Jake still sat back facing her. She sat down and put her head against his back. “I'm sorry Yunnie, I was bored and Sunghoon offered to play.” Jake tried to hold back his smile. “God, you're hard to resist.” Roza laughed as Jake engulfed her in a hug. “Trust Me I know.”
Sunghoon : “For the next game you need to pair up with another member.” a staff member announced as they members looked at one another. Sunghoon’s eyes looked over at Roza and watched as she turned to look at Jay. “Jay, you and me?” Jay nodded and Roza joined his side. “Hyung us two?” Sunghoon’s head snapped around to Niki. “yeah…” Niki watched as his eyes continuously drifted back to Roza and Jay.
“This is the piggyback game. One of you has to piggyback the other while trying to complete certain tasks.” “oh this is gonna be easy!” Jay said excitedly. “That's not fair, me and Niki are tall.” Sunghoon complained, now more annoyed. “Sucks to suck.” Roza said, winking at him, reading his jealousy like a book. “Yeah, whatever.” He sighed.
The game continued with Roza and Jay as well as Heeseung and Sooyoung doing the best. “I'm telling you it's not fair. Of course the pair with the girls is gonna do better.” Niki whined. “Okay final game!” the members laughed as the staff members ignored Niki. “Roza, Jay and Heeseung, Sooyoung will stand on a piece of newspaper and everytime you will fold it and keep going till one team wins.” Sunghoon stood to the side watching as Jay held Roza on his back and Roza’s arms wrapped around his shoulders.
He could practically feel the jealousy all throughout his body. Sunghoon knows he is a jealous person, he knows that very well. But he just can't help it when he sees Roza with other members, whether it's friendly or not. In the end Heeseung and Sooyoung won the game. “We were so close, we'll win next time!” Jay said, hugging Roza. “Indeed Jay, we will.”
The members had finished filming and were heading to the cars to head back to the dorms. Roza saw Sunghoon sitting in the back seat and sat down next to him. She tried to lace her fingers with his but Sunghoon pulled away and turned to look out the window. “Okay grumpy.” She smiled, knowing in time he will open up again. Roza watched as Sunghoon’s hand moved to hold hers. “Knew it.” She smirked. “Shut up..” embarrassment reddening his cheeks.
Sunoo : Roza, Sunoo and Sooyoung were going shopping for some new clothes as Winter was coming to an end and summer was not long away. “Ooh, let's go in here.” Sooyoung pointed as she dragged the other two into a store. “Omg all the clothes are so pretty.” Sunoo noticed that all the clothes were tailored towards women. Dresses, skirts and women's lingerie. “Unnie let's try these on.” Sooyoung pulled out two matching dresses. “I'll just wait out here…” Sunoo said, taking a seat outside the dressing rooms.
This is not how he planned his day to go. It was originally supposed to be just him and Roza but both got busy and had to put off their plans till another day. That being today. He loved having Sooyoung around but it wasn't wrong for him to want some alone time with each of his members. “What do you think?” Sunoo looked up to see Roza standing in front of him. “Wow, that suits you so well! You definitely have to get it.” Roza smiled and Sooyoung joined her side, matching dress adorned. “You too, Soongie.”
Time passed as the trio furthered their look for clothes. Sunoo’s jealousy was starting to get the best of him, he was starting to get snappy with both girls. “We should go in here!” “ugh, really? It's all female clothes, nothing for me..” Sunoo deadpanned at Sooyoung. “Well we're girls, where else are we supposed to shop.” Sooyoung eyed him back as she went in anyways. “Aren't you going in?” “nah, I think i'll stay out here with you.” Roza smiled at him but Sunoo’s expression stayed blank.
“You okay?” ‘yeah…” Roza watched as Sunoo stared blankly into space. “Sorry, I know we were meant to have our own time together.” “it's okay… things come up. We'll just have to plan another day soon.” Roza nodded and linked her arms with Sunoo. “I like the sound of that.” Sunoo now smiled, happy for plans to be back on track.
Sooyoung : The two girls were getting the makeup done for the award show that Enhypen was attending that night. Roza sat in the chair next to Sooyoung, she was on her phone messaging someone. “Who are you talking to?” Sooyoung questioned. “Oh, it's Wonyoung! We're gonna go get some dinner together after the shows done.” “oh nice…” Sooyoung looked away. Roza noticed it, she knew something was up. “You good?” Sooyoung looked confused. “I'm fine..”
Later the members were sitting watching the other groups perform when IVE members came to sit down. Sooyoung watched as Roza and Wonyoung chatted back and forth. She didn't know why she got this feeling in her stomach but it didn't make her feel good. “Hey, you don't look good.” Heeseung questioned as Sooyoung tried to focus on the performance. “Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired I think?” Heeseung nodded, brushing it off.
The award show came to an end and the members were now getting ready to head back to the dorms. Sooyoung settled into her seat ready to fall asleep for the drive back, when someone yanked her headphones out of her ears. “Going to sleep so soon?” Sooyoung sat shocked as Roza sat down next to her. “What are you doing?” “going to the dorm.” “What about your dinner?” Roza put the earbud she pulled out into her own ear. “Decided not to go, tired.” she snuggled next to her resting her own head on Sooyoung's shoulder. “You don't mind do you?” Sooyoung's smile stretched across her face. “Fine with me.” she whispered resting her head on Roza’s.
Jungwon : Tensions were high. It was award show season and the members schedules were packed, with very few days off. Roza was usually Jungwon’s right hand woman when it came to leading the members. She helped him wangle the members when they weren't listening. And he very rarely got mad at her. This time was different. Jungwon was on thin ice with everyone, no matter what they did Jungwon was bound to find something to get annoyed about. One reason came when Roza and Jake were playing around and not listening to Jungwon. At first he watched as they played around and slowly felt this bubbling jealousy in his chest. “Yah! Are you actually gonna listen?" The room went silent as Jake and Roza apologized and the members went back to practicing.
As time went on the members were almost done practicing and were taking a quick water break. “Okay let's go over everything once more.” the choreographer said as they got ready to continue. Jungwon looked over and noticed Roza and Sunghoon still talking, taking their sweet time. He wasn't sure why but it annoyed him. “Hurry up you two!” His eyes dug into Roza specifically. “Jeez, we're coming.” Roza said, rolling her eyes, now annoyed herself as Jungwon continued to seemingly single her out. The other members also noticing the tension.
“Stop messing up will you…” Jungwon grumbled to Roza as she kept messing up. “The more you mess up, the longer we have to stay here.” He said as the room went quiet. “I'm sorry…” Roza whispered. “Won ease up-” Heeseung tried to say before Jungwon glared at him, shushing him. “You haven't been paying attention this whole practice. Now would be a good time to start.”
Practice came to an end shortly after and it was time to leave. Jungwon was first to the cars as the other members came one after another. Jungwon noticed Roza wasn't in the car as Sunghoon came in last, shutting the door. “Where's Roza?” “She's staying late to go over the dance a couple more times.” Jungwon had already realized he let his jealousy get ahead of him. “Let me get out.” He quickly ran up to the practice room to find Roza sitting in the corner half asleep.
The noise of Jungwon arriving woke Roza and she quickly stood. “I was just about to practice. I promise I'll be better by tomorrow." This broke Jungwon’s heart. “No it's okay. I… I came to apologize.” “No, it's fine. It's my fault, I should have been paying attention.” Jungwon walked closer and grabbed Roza pulling her into a hug. “Please don't be sorry. It's my fault, I Lashed out at you. I was stressed and a little… jealous” he mumbled the last part. “What?” “huh?” Jungwon tried to play it off. “Jealous… why?” “Uhh, I don't know. We don't need to dwell on it. Let's go home.” “You love me too much don't you.” “maybe..” Jungwon smiled as the pair finally headed home.
Niki : Roza was set to do a dance collab with Yeonjun of TXT for an upcoming award show. Niki was curious about what dance they were gonna do, so decided to tag along and watch them. The duo arrived to find Yeonjun already warming up. “Hey guys!” “Hey Yeonjun!” Niki watched from the side as they began learning their dance.
If he were honest, he was a little annoyed that he wasn't picked to do a dance with Roza. Him and Roza made a great pair. He would have made a better pair than her and Yeonjun. Coming out of his thoughts he watched as both complemented each other, clearly enjoying working together. “I need air..” Niki muttered to himself as he went to get some water. Standing in the hallway not ready to endure another hour of jealousy, Niki decided to wander around the HYBE building.
An hour and a half passed before Niki heard his name being called. “Niki, what are you doing over here?” He turned around to find Roza standing at the end of the hallway. “Oh Noona. I was just getting some water…” “for the past hour? Are you okay?” She questioned as she slowly made her way towards him. Niki could feel his ears getting hot as she eyed him. “Yeah…” “are you sure, you can tell me anything you know.” Niki now felt bad. Roza clearly was worried about him. “I got a little jealous…” he whispered. “What? Say that again?” “I got a little jealous that you were dancing with Yeonjun.” He watched as her lips formed a little smile. “Don't laugh!” “I'm not! I promise, I'm not…” Roza held back her giggle as Niki pouted his duck lips in embarrassment. “Noona…” “I'm sorry. It's cute, okay.” “yeah whatever.” Niki rolled his eyes running away from her. “Wait Niki. Come back!”

I keep thinking about the simplicity and kindness with which Severance treats grief, and death. That you can express your pain in a million different ways but ultimately, what it always amounts to is: This person was alive, and I loved them, and now they aren't, and I still love them. Love is the only thing pulling us forward, even as it forces us to look back.
There's a few quotes from the show under the cut. There's not much else to this post, just like there isn't much else to someone you love dying. It hurts, and you miss them. It will always hurt a little bit, and that's okay. That's what remembering does.
Ms. Casey about Mark Scout:
Your outie can parallel park in less than 20 seconds. Your outie can roller-skate with grace. Your outie pays all of his gas and electric bills within three business days. Your outie listens to music while shaving, but not while showering. Your outie prefers two scoops of ice cream in a serving, but they must be the same flavor. Your outie once captured a butterfly.
Mark Scout about Gemma:
My wife was extraordinary. My wife was allergic to nutmeg. And when she sneezed, she always sneezed twice. My wife liked other people's dogs. My wife thought cardigans looked ridiculous. I loved all these things about her... Equally.
Dylan and Irving about Burt:
Irving: The last time I was happy was when all I knew was MDR. When I was good at my job and not trying to be happy. I'm going to leave, Dylan. Dylan: It is not leaving. So stop fucking calling it that. I know, you want... I know... Just fucking try. Irving: You're a good friend, Dylan. (...) I wanted you to know before I left. Dylan: Okay. Well, you're not. You... No. Stop it. Stop it. Listen to me. Look, I'm sorry that outie Burt has a hot husband or whatever. But he is not the point. Innie Burt is the guy you fell for, and I know because I encouraged the courtship. Irving: I... I want it to be over. I want the pain to be over. If he's gone and I'm gone... Dylan: Stop saying that. Irving: ...then somehow, we'll be together. Dylan: He wouldn't want that. Irving: How do you know? Dylan: Because I don't want that. Because I would be sad, and I would be less productive, and I'm really good at what I do here, whatever it is. And you're part of what makes me good at it. So please, do not go. Irving: Dylan... I'm your favorite perk. Dylan: Don't bring them into this. All I'm saying is, if Burt was still here, he would be telling you to stick around and figure out what the fuck this is.
Felicia and Irving about Burt:
Irving: I can't... My God, he was... he was fearless! Felicia: I worked with Burt for six years. And I only ever saw him scared of one thing: He spent two hours on his hair the first time he went to visit you. Irving: Really? I should... I should show you something. I'd draw [one portrait of him] every day I couldn't see him. My numbers went down, but I didn't even care.
Dylan about Irving:
It's hard to pinpoint a favorite Irving story. For the least fun guy in the world, he was really fun. He put the "dick" in contradiction. One time, he was pissed at me for watering down the toner, so he put toner in my water cup. He stopped me before I drank it, though. He just wanted to make a point, not harm me physically. But I did accidentally take a sip of it later, 'cause I forgot he said that. He asked me for help with something near the end, and I didn't listen. And in his final moments, he would have been totally justified in telling me to suck my own fuck. But he didn't. He was awesome, and I miss him.

Parings → Nathan Drake x Reader
Warnings → guns
Summary → Y/n gets shot in a firefight, and Nate tends to her wound with care.
Tumblr media
The heat of the firefight had your nerves on edge, but you could tell that Nate was, as usual, having the time of his life. He dodged behind cover, firing off a few rounds, grinning like a kid in a candy store.
“Gotta admit, they’re really throwing everything at us this time!” He shouted over the gunfire, his voice carrying that unshakable excitement.
You pressed yourself against a stone pillar, reloading your gun with hands that were shaking more than you cared to admit. “You’re enjoying this way too much, Nate!” You snapped, peeking out just long enough to take a shot at one of the mercenaries charging your way.
“Come on! It’s all part of the fun!” He called back, ducking behind a crumbling statue. Another spray of bullets ricocheted off the stone near his head, and he laughed, like he was playing some kind of game. Typical.
Just as you stepped out to return fire, pain shot through your side—sharp, burning pain that knocked the wind out of you. You stumbled, one hand flying to your abdomen where the bullet had struck, warm blood seeping through your fingers. For a moment, the world blurred, the noise fading into a distant hum.
"Shit," you gasped, collapsing against the pillar for support.
Nate, still firing away at the remaining mercenaries, was oblivious to what had just happened. “You good over there, babe?” He shouted, still sounding like he was having the time of his life.
You tried to shout back, but your voice came out in a pained wheeze. Your vision swam as you sank down, back against the cold stone.
It wasn’t until the last of the mercenaries fell that Nate finally glanced your way. “Hey, we got ‘em!” He called, walking toward you with a smug grin. “See? That wasn’t so—”
His grin faltered when he saw you slumped against the pillar, clutching your side.
“Y/n?” His voice dropped, the teasing gone, replaced with sudden concern.
You let out a shaky breath, biting down on your lip to keep from crying out in pain. “Took you long enough to notice,” you muttered, wincing as the pain flared again.
In an instant, Nate was at your side, his hands on you, frantic as he inspected the wound. “Shit, why didn’t you say anything?”
“I don’t know, Nate, maybe because I was busy getting shot? ” You snapped, though your voice was weaker than you wanted it to be.
“Hold still,” he muttered, tearing at the hem of his shirt to press against the wound, trying to stop the bleeding. His face had gone pale, his earlier carefree attitude evaporating as the gravity of the situation set in. “You’re gonna be okay. I’ve got you.”
You gritted your teeth against the pain, glaring up at him. “This—” you sucked in a breath, “—is exactly why I told you to stop messing around!”
“I wasn’t messing around,” he insisted, his voice tight with worry, though his eyes darted to the side like he was recalling all his jokes from the last ten minutes.
“Right, because laughing in the middle of a shootout is totally serious business,” you shot back, clutching at his arm for support as he tied the fabric around your side to slow the bleeding. "God, you're such an idiot sometimes."
His hands worked quickly, but his focus never left your face. “I’ll take that,” he muttered, “as long as you’re okay.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t hold back the wince as he tightened the makeshift bandage. “You’re lucky I love you, Drake,” you mumbled, your anger already fading now that he was focused on taking care of you.
He leaned in, brushing his lips lightly against your forehead. “Yeah, I know. I’m sorry. Next time I’ll keep the jokes to a minimum.” He looked at you again, and this time there was no smirk, no lighthearted banter—just raw concern. “I should’ve been paying more attention.”
You huffed, resting your head back against the stone, the pain starting to dull. “I’m still cursing at you for this later.”
He smiled softly, his hand gently squeezing yours. “I’d expect nothing less.”
For a few moments, the two of you stayed there in silence, the adrenaline wearing off and leaving only the warmth of his hand in yours. He sat beside you, his usual reckless energy replaced with a rare tenderness.
“You’re gonna be okay, baby,” he whispered, pressing another kiss to your temple. “I promise.”
You sighed, leaning into his touch, finally allowing yourself to relax. “I know. Just… don’t scare me like that again, alright?”
Nate chuckled softly, the tension easing just a little. “Deal. But you’re the one who got shot.”
“And you’re the one who wasn’t paying attention,” you shot back, though the bite in your tone had softened.
His hand moved to your cheek, his thumb brushing your skin with a gentleness that made your heart ache. “I’ll make it up to you. I’ll take you somewhere nice once we’re done here—someplace with no bullets or bad guys, I promise.”
You gave him a tired smile, squeezing his hand. “You better.”
For a moment, everything else—the danger, the ruins, the treasure—faded into the background. All that mattered was the warmth of Nate’s hand in yours and the way he was looking at you like nothing else in the world could possibly matter. And for now, that was enough.

Princess Zelda was raised in a large castle in the country of Hyrule. Her favorite pastimes were investigating ancient ruins and tormenting the knight sent with her by her father to guard her. His name was Link, but she never called him that.
Nothing gave Zelda as much pleasure as ordering Link around--except perhaps trying to evade his protection.
“Champion,” she said one day as they rode through the countryside, “stop following me. Despite what my father has ordered you to do, I do not require your protection.”
“As you wish,” Link replied quietly.
“As you wish” was all he ever said to her. And he always obeyed her every command--but when Zelda looked over her shoulder, she scowled as she saw that he had only slowed his horse so he followed at a few feet further behind. He would not defy his princess; but neither would he defy his king.
One morning, in the early hours of the dawn, Zelda rode out to investigate an ancient shrine she had discovered on the plains, but no sooner had she begun to try to puzzle out how to enter than Link arrived on his horse behind her.
“Champion,” she said angrily, “I have no need of an escort. Return to the castle and tell my father so.”
“As you wish,” Link answered. But he stood by his horse resolutely, waiting for her to mount her own, with a silence that seemed to say, not without you. She found herself unable to do anything but follow him home.
No matter where Zelda went, no matter how far she traveled to try to elude him, Link was always just behind. She could ride out in the earliest hours of dawn, explore the furthest ruins in the other regions of Hyrule, but scarcely would she be there fifteen minutes than she heard the distant clop-clop of his horse on the wind. This frustrated Zelda greatly. Was he her nursemaid, that he should be glued to her so?
But there soon came a day when she became more appreciative of his constant presence. One moment they were traveling along the road, the next, a dozen attackers sprung from seemingly nowhere and surrounded them. A blade came down towards the princess’s face, but before the blow could land, Link’s sword blocked it and flicked it away. Zelda caught the expression of single-minded determination on her knight’s face, and watched as he fought off every assailant within minutes.
“Link,” she said, treating his wounds with an anxiety she had not anticipated, “you are too reckless. Honestly, you must be more careful. I cannot have my--” she cut herself off. “My father’s knight dying in battle so carelessly.”
“As you wish,” her knight said, gazing upon her with that same steady look as always.
Zelda blushed suddenly, and looked away, for that day, she was amazed to discover that when he was saying, "As you wish," what he meant was, "I love you."
And even more amazing was the day she realized she truly loved him back.
The circumstances, however, were cruel.
It seemed like the end of days. The war was lost--despite all of their efforts, the princess’s tireless research, the preparation of her allies, the Demon King had returned, plunging the world into darkness and killing thousands. The princess and her knight, battered and bloodied, fled their overrun stronghold, running through the woods in a hopeless attempt at escape.
They came to a stop when she collapsed and could run no longer.
“Link,” she sobbed, collapsing into his arms, “I failed. I could not save them. They’re all…they’re all…and it’s all my fault…I left them all to die!”
Her stalwart knight said nothing, but only held her, despite his many wounds able to stay upright.
Then, another mechanical monster pounced upon them. And another. And another. They only seemed to keep on coming, as if they were emerging from the ground itself.
Without a thought to his own safety, with only his princess in mind, Link threw himself into the fray, felling monster after monster. But it did not come without a cost. Though their foes littered the ground, Link only grew more and more worse for wear, barely able to keep his feet, however strong his determination, and there was no end to the approaching monsters. No sooner had he slayed one than another rose up to take its place. However determined he was to protect his princess, his breath came in ragged gasps, and the blood from his wounds soaked his tunic.
Her knight collapsed to one knee, spent, but so many monsters remained standing--enormous and furious, blue laser eyes trained on them, crawling along the ground like giant insects. Zelda cried out for her knight, begged him to run and save himself, but he would not. As yet another beast descended upon them, Link stumbled to his feet once more to shield her, barely able to remain standing.
But as the monster trained its death-filled gaze upon him, Zelda cried out and pushed him aside, stepping into the monster’s sights herself. She thought she surely was about to perish, but then something happened that neither she, nor her knight, nor the forces of darkness anticipated--a power awoke within her, one to match the might of any creature that the Demon King might summon or corrupt, and it erupted from her outstretched hand in the form of a great beam of light, razing every monster in sight in its brightness and its heat. Every last one of them immediately collapsed under the weight of her power--a power that was only awoken by the great love she bore for her knight.
For in that instant, yes, Zelda finally knew that she loved him--and in the next, at the sight of his motionless, broken body, she knew she would never love again.
The princess’ grief was terrible and all-consuming, and she wept long at the side of her knight, faithful to the last. When her tears finally ran dry, she was left with nothing but emptiness--but in that great weight of silence, her gaze coming to rest on her knight’s sword, she became aware of the smallest flicker of hope. In haste, she summoned her swiftest soldiers to her side, and ordered that they bear him to a shrine she had discovered in her travels--one said to have the power to raise the dead. And so they obeyed, carrying him deep into the mountains, and laying him to rest deep in the shrine where none would find him.
It was a distant, frail sort of hope, to think that an ancient ruin could have that sort of power, but nevertheless, Zelda carried it like a banner into battle as she drew herself up and strode through the gates of a castle that had once been her own. There for one hundred years she neither slept nor ate, but held the Demon King’s power at bay with her newly awoken power, granting her kingdom an era of peace through her great sacrifice. Though the years she spent there were nothing but suffering and anguish for the princess, her faith that her knight would one day return sustained her.
After one hundred years, her knight awoke in his watery grave. Indeed, his body had been restored, but the long years had worn heavy upon his mind--he knew not his name, nor his purpose, nor where he was, nor how he had come to be there.
But at the sound of her voice, none of that mattered. “Link,” her voice came, as if it were a soft whisper from very far away, “please, wake up. I cannot hold him back much longer.”
The words were on his lips before he knew what they meant. “As you wish.”

Dad!Sukuna
honestly i am obsessed with dad!sukuna fics so i wrote some head canons
hope you like it
ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE
pt.2
—————————————————————————————————————
dad!sukuna that knew that so much unprotected sex would eventually lead to you being pregnant. not that he was complaining. he was absolutely trilled about you carrying his child. at first sukuna was pretty calm about you being pregnant but the moment your belly started showing he was done for. did every little thing for you, even carrying you around (i mean he literally has four arms might as well use them)
dad!sukuna that we all knew was hoping for a boy. i mean he wanted an heir. so you were kinda scared to tell him when you found out that you were having a girl, not knowing what he would think. when you told him, at first he didn’t react like at all, but that viscous smile of his showed up. he was so happy about the little girl, even if she wasn’t exactly what he wanted, he would still love her. after all she was his and your’s baby.
dad!sukuna that was worried about you during birth. he hated seeing you cry, even more seeing you in pain. but the moment he saw the little girl in your arms he forgot all about that. he fell in love.
dad!sukuna who was the happiest curse? alive ever when his little girl opened her first set of eyes, them being the exact same as his. she was the carbon copy of him. god she even had his pink hair and she just got born.
dad!sukuna that was confused at first about how and what he was supposed to do with a baby. he thought he could hold her how ever he wanted, thank god you taught him how to. he quickly learned that you need to be very gentle with babies or else they will cry (he sure as hell didn’t want that).
dad!sukuna that didn’t know how to play with his 5 month daughter so he was showing her his four arms and eyes hoping that she will also open her second set of eyes. instead tho she was laughing her baby ass off thinking that her father was the funniest creature ever.
dad!sukuna that didn’t know how to react when his daughter, peacefully laying on his stomach, turned to him while making random noises. he was confused as hell cuz she was full on dead stare looking at him (he was scared from the resemblance between the two). he saw the lashes on her lower set of eyes flutter and then suddenly she opened them. his face was one of pure surprise and as if she didn’t shock him enough already, she even said her first word “da-da”.
let’s just say that dad!sukuna was flabbergasted

the time actress!reader mentioned obx in her interview
𝜗𝜚 ࣪˖ ִ𐙚 ────୨ৎ──── while the obx cast were together in drew’s hotel room madelyn in her ever obsession of game of thrones brought up that you had mentioned how much you love obx in an interview. causing them to watch the interview together.
𝜗𝜚 pairing: actress!reader x drew starkey
author’s note: this takes place in 2023 during the filming of obx 4 and 3 weeks after the first time they watched the show together. at this point of my timeline the cast have watched the entire first season of game of thrones.
Tumblr media
drew was scrolling through his phone, you had followed him back on instagram a week ago and he was on the moon. though he hadn’t messaged you yet. unsure on what to say to you. drew prided himself on being a confident man yet, your ability to make him nervous through a screen was unprecedented.
while stalking your profile for the umpteenth time he found himself wondering about you yet again. your limited amount of posts made you even more intriguing to him. he wondered what kind of person you are. what things made you tick, whether you would stare up at him with those siren eyes, whether you moaned or whimpered during sex, whether your face scrunched up and your mouth hung open as your chest heaved like it did in your sex scene that hasn’t left his brain since the moment he watched it.
just as he fell into a spiral of thoughts about you madelyn spoke up from her seat across the room, drawing the attention of everyone else, and drew was suddenly reminded that he wasn’t alone in his room. “oh my fucking god! i forgot to tell you guys!” she was staring down at her phone. but drew was having trouble focusing on her, still consumed in his thoughts of you.
the others, however, had no problem driving their attention to her, so drew remained in his bubble staring at the most recent post on your profile, a vogue magazine cover from three months ago, of you, seated, legs spread on the iron throne with the sword dark sister held in your hands standing between your legs, the crown of aegon the conquerer tilted on your head, the lace thigh high socks with garters disappearing under the skirt of your tight mini dress and the bold red coating your lips enticing him further.
it wasn’t till he heard your name slip from madelyn’s lips, was his attention torn from the captivating sight on his screen. “wait, what you just say?” madelyn smirked “of course, only when i say y/n’s name, do you listen.” drew blushed lightly. but didn’t make the move to defend himself, after all they would be right, he had been distracted from the moment he saw you in all your glory stealing the screen.
“what i was saying that y/n mentioned obx in an interview, just pass me the remote, i’ll show you.” drew’s heart rate spiked, the thought of you having seen him in his element, doing his job, made him self conscious in a way that he wasn’t ready to admit. once madelyn had the video loaded on the screen, drew was once again struck by how effortlessly beautiful you are. dressed in simple black pants and an off-shoulder cream long sleeve top, brown boots disappearing under your pants and simple gold hoop earrings, your brunette hair loose and following in natural waves. drew looked at your empty neck and thought how good you would look if there was a necklace with his initial hanging there, branding you as his.
madelyn skipped through the video until the moment you were talking. the interviewer asked you and your cast-mate what shows you watch during your down time when filming, your voice rang through the silent room and drew was struck once again by how attractive your accent sounded, your british accent deep and sultry but more casual than the tone you use when playing visenya. “oh, well mimi and i love outer banks a lot, to the point where we quote it on set quite often. i think we’ve annoyed everyone.” you laughed and drew thought about how he wanted to hear that sound for the rest of his life.
your cast mate and best friend, mimi who plays arianne martell laughed and agreed and the interviewer who was surprised by your answer said that obx was one of her favourite shows too. your face immediately brightened as you watched her intently as she spoke about the show. what drew would give to have you look at him like that.
madelyn paused the video and drew knew that once everyone had left his room he was going to watch the entire video. “that’s so cool!” jd gasped. “i know right? that’s so crazy that she’s seen our show.” madison replied. but drew couldn’t bring himself to speak, he wondered what you thought of him after watching his performance. he wondered if you had the same all consuming thoughts he had about you, about him.
“i followed her when i first watched the show and she followed me back, but after seeing that clip a week ago i messaged her and we’ve been talking back and forth ever since, she’s so fucking cool, it’s insane. i think we’re friends now!” madelyn raved. “you’re friends with her?!.” drew was baffled, how was madelyn just bringing this up, she has known about his developing crush for weeks. “ah, now you want to chime in drew?” “yes, we’re friends and she’s gonna be in la when we get back so i told her she should come hang out with us, what you guys think?”
drew’s heart felt like it was going a mile a minute, he was gonna meet you. what the fuck.
Tumblr media
thank you for all the love on the first part i’m so grateful. and for everyone who wants to be added to the tag list i’m figuring out how to do that so please be patient with me. also please send me asks about this au i would love to do like a drew starkey x actress!reader thoughts thing, but let me know what you thought of this part!

“No.”
There was no room for argument in Nesta’s tone, no room for anything other than agreement or else she’d reign the Hells on all of them. Her mate be damned, she would not leave the mortal lands without you. Not again.
“If we take her,” Cassian gritted his teeth, “I am inviting her husband to wage war on our kind if he so chooses.”
Nesta bared her teeth. “Rafe is nothing but a coward and a sorry excuse of a man. What kind of war could he wage? If she stays, then so do I.”
Cassian blanched at his mate, his teeth grinding. They were only supposed to have stopped through for no more than a week, to ensure things in the mortal lands were restoring to somewhat of the normalcy they once had before the war.
He blinked at Nesta, noting the way she bore her feet into the solid ground, as if planting herself there like a tree weaving its roots into the soil. He knew the love she had for her cousin, her only friend, as she’d once told him. The guilt she’d felt when she first left the village, left you, hadn’t eased in the slightest.
Perhaps this was the reason she insisted on joining Cassian on this third-grade mission. He cast a quick glance over her shoulder to the small stone house you were occupying, and closed his eyes to ground his breathing.
“We can’t just bring her back without consulting Rhys first.”
Nesta rolled her eyes. “Screw Rhys. I’ll deal with him myself if I have to. She is my family, Cassian. My friend. Every night, he beats her and abuses her and takes from her what she will not willingly give. She is coming back with us.”
Cassian took another grounding breath, the iron will in Nesta’s eyes granting not even a fraction of negotiation. There was too much going on right now, too much to sift through to rebuild their city and legions.
But Nesta was right, and despite not knowing you, he couldn’t stomach the idea of leaving a vulnerable soul with a monster who took and abused like Rafe did. Especially not when he saw the pain on his mate's eyes for her cousin.
“Ten minutes. Tell her to pack necessities only. We will need to leave within the hour if we wish to be gone before her husband returns.”
Nesta didn’t cast him a second glance as she turned and sprinted into your home. You scrambled back from the window, heat painting your cheeks that you’d been caught watching them, straining your ears for a sliver of their conversation, to no avail.
She said nothing of your snooping, only grabbed your hand and dragged you to your sleeping chambers. “Pack only what you need. You’re coming back with us.”
You blinked, lungs seizing the air you tried to breathe. Leaving? For the Fae lands?
“Ness,” you tried, but she held up a slender hand to cut you off.
“Don’t. I made the mistake of leaving you behind before. I won’t do it again.” She couldn’t look at you. Not at the bruises marring your skin, or the split lip you’d earned yourself two nights ago for leaving an unwashed pot in the sink.
So you didn’t think twice about the consequences of being caught fleeing. You didn’t think twice at all as you stuffed minimal clothing into a satchel along with a photo of your beloved mother and the worn journal you kept hidden beneath the mattress.
Nesta allowed you a moment to compose yourself as she returned to her mate just outside your home. Home. As if you could ever have truly referred to it as that. This was not a home. You hadn’t had a home since your mother passed ten years ago. Since you married Rafe and your whole world fell apart.
You had prayed. Prayed to whatever out there that would listen. Hoped and hoped that one day your salvation would arrive, that you’d be finally spared from the misery you’d been subjected to for so long. From the pain and terror and loneliness.
You hadn’t realised you were absentmindedly twisting the iron band on your ring finger until the small stone in the centre scratched at your skin. That Gods damned ring that bound you to the monster you called your husband. That iron cage that kept you as his possession instead of his love.
Yet the fear… the fear at the idea of removing it sat far too heavy in your chest. The fear of him finding you, punishing you. But he wouldn’t find you, you knew that. Rafe would never dream of crossing that veil into the Fae lands. And even if he did, you were sure he’d be eaten alive within the first breath he took in that world.
When you met Nesta and Cassian outside, they both had a satchel of their own on their shoulders; stuffed to the brim of bread and cheese and skins of water they’d raided from the kitchen.
The General nodded at you once as you approached. You wondered if you’d done anything to offend him, or perhaps he found this—you—to be an unnecessary burden to him and his day.
“Thank you,” you managed to utter, and both he and Nesta felt the pure relief and gratitude in your voice.
Cassian’s resolve softened, a sympathetic gleam in his eye and he hated himself for a moment for even considering leaving you here alone.
“It’ll take us half a day to reach the wall,” Nesta began, unmoving from Cassian’s side. “When we pass, Azriel will meet us at the border in Spring. Cassian cannot fly the both of us.”
You couldn’t help the apology that slithered up your throat. “I don’t mean to be a burden—“
But it was Cassian who growled in response, “You are not. You are family, and we don’t leave family behind.”
You walked for hours, legs sore and tired and throbbing from the stamina you lacked. But you didn’t want to stop, to ask for a break. They were kind enough to have brought you, you needn’t add any more time onto their already long journey.
So you kept your mouth shut and willed your legs to move, one in front of the other. Hours passed and you could feel that familiar panic rise in your stomach. Nightfall was approaching, which meant Rafe would surely be home by now…
You didn’t want to allow yourself to think of that. Of what he was doing after finding the home empty with nothing but your wedding band on the dresser, the only proof you ever even existed in that house.
It was Cassian who made the call to stop for a break, as though only now remembering how weak a mortal body was compared to a Fae’s—or in his case, an Illyrian.
Nesta had told you many things about her family in Prythian; the members of the Inner Circle, the beautiful city of Velaris and all the wonders it had to offer. Despite the relief you felt for leaving, the anxiety of entering the Fae lands was unmatched to anything you’d felt before.
You rested for only thirty minutes, the three of you eating your way through an entire satchel of food and two skins of water. Perhaps Nesta and Cassian were as tired as you were, though you figured not.
And by the time you reached the wall, night had surrounded you in complete darkness, nothing but a ripple in the air to suggest you had met the end of your homelands.
It was opaque for the most part, but the air seemed to glimmer and fold, as if you were looking magic dead in its face. You allowed your fingers to reach shakily for it, a fearful thought stopping you from making contact.
You turned to your cousin. “Will it hurt?”
She took your hand. “No, though when we pass through you’ll need to stay as close to Cassian and I as possible. Your scent—it’ll be a beacon to all sorts of creatures that roam freely within the Spring.”
Nesta shrugged off her jacket and handed it to you. “It’ll somewhat mask your scent. Just long enough until we meet with Azriel.”
You shoved your arms in the jacket as you put it on over your own and took Nesta’s hand again. Her eyes met yours, something akin to relief and sorrow flickering in her gaze. You didn’t want her pity. And it cleaved your heart into two knowing that you could never do anything to repay her for this, to express just how far your gratitude stretched.
Cassian and Nesta took three steps forward and as you followed, the air rippled around you…you breathed in the new life and second chance you’d been given.
But nothing could have prepared you for what awaited on the other side of the veil.
The first and only thing you saw were a set of sharp, gleaming white teeth before you were shoved to the ground with a hard thud, your head hitting against soft grass with a thump.
Snarls and grunts and shrieks surrounded you, and in the time it took to regain your bearings, Cassian and Nesta were sheathing their daggers once more as the…thing that had attacked lay dead on a field of daisies.
With eerie calmness, you assessed the creature. It was huge, twice the size of Cassian and about four times the size of you. Dark black fur covered its body and ruby red eyes that lifelessly stared into your very soul.
For some strange, obscene reason, you couldn’t bring yourself to look away. Not as you breathed in the fresh soil beneath your feet. It felt as though your world had been turned on his axis, as if only now could you see clearly.
Then you heard it, a distant swooshing in the wind. You angled your neck toward the noise, eyes not needing to squint in the darkness as the stars illuminated the sky so beautifully.
Your brows furrowed, but you did not look away. “Something is coming.”
Both Nesta and Cassian followed your gaze then, stepping closer to your still body. The figure came closer, your initial thoughts of it being a large bird being dismissed as a pair of wings much like Cassian’s, only larger, flipped through the midnight air.
You smelt him before catching his face. Pine and wood and parchment. Mint. There was a hint of mint and something sweet like cinnamon as the glorious Illyrian landed swiftly onto the grass.
Azriel.
You remembered him, the Shadowsinger. Silver streaks of the moon casted across his brown skin as he approached swiftly, those dark and languid shadows moving across his form and snaking the earth until they halted at your feet—assessing.
“So glad you finally joined the party.” Cassian said in greeting, though Azriel paid no mind to the tone his brother offered.
Those shadows wrapped around your ankles softly, slinking your skin as they felt you out. You felt something then, a tug in the air that seemed to pull the shadows back to Azriel’s towering form.
That was when you looked at him, breath stolen from your lungs. He was beautiful. A warrior, that you could tell. Solid muscle covered every inch of him, dark black hair that sat messily on his head and swept down his forehead and brows. Hazel eyes met yours, his lips parting—no doubt at the state of your bruised face.
He was beautiful when you’d seen him previously on his brief visit to speak with Lucien… but now, it was as though you were seeing him truly–with so much clarity in your gaze it almost blinded you. Everything about this land did.
“There are more coming, so unless you want a fight, I suggest we leave.”
His tone held no room for argument, yet he spoke in an unrushed drawl, as if these creatures were the least of his concern. He was as large as Cassian, daggers strapped to his leathers, so you supposed they likely posed little to no threat to him and his skills.
“Can you winnow?” Nesta asked.
It wasn’t lost on you how overlooked you were, despite being the reason for his presence. But like most of your life, it came as no surprise to be somewhat invisible. Cast aside. Unnoticed.
Azriel shook his head. “We’ll need to fly to the border between Autumn and Winter, from there I can winnow us back to Velaris.”
Cassian nodded, reaching for Nesta. “We’ll go first, make sure the area is safe. Follow us in five minutes.”
Nesta looked at you, a silent conversation between you both.
You’ll be okay?
I’ll be fine. If you trust Azriel then so do I.
No other words were exchanged when Cassian hauled Nesta into his arms, spread his magnificent wings and shot to the skies. You watched until they were a mere dot beside the stars before returning your attention to the Shadowsinger who was already offering you his.
“It’s nice to see you again, Y/N.” He said politely.
You wondered if he’d remembered your name from your first and last encounter almost a year ago, or if when Cassian sent word for aid he’d reminded him of it.
Either way, you offered a timid smile. “You too, Azriel. I apologise for troubling you with this. All of you.”
He shook your apology off. “It’s no bother. Are you hurt anywhere?”
You knew he wasn’t referring to bruises and cuts you already adorned. It seemed as though stepping through that veil gave you more clarity, more understanding of silent thoughts and everything else around you.
You shook your head. “No.”
“Good.” He nodded, and those shadows threatened to reach for your ankles again.
Azriel didn’t pull them back this time, only took a tentative step closer. “I apologise, they’re no threat. Not to you.”
You nodded, gaze upon them as they slinked further up your body and wrapped softly around your arms. Azriel almost bristled at the way you remained so calm. He wondered how much about him and his family you knew. He supposed Nesta had told you much through letters and such.
You didn’t reply, couldn’t bring yourself. You knew how deadly the Inner Circle could be to their enemies. And yet these shadows touched you with more softness than your husband ever did. You didn’t let that thought show on your face.
“Everything feels different on this side of the wall,” you admitted, a little breathless.
Azriel remained looking at you. “Everything feels…clearer.”
You waved the shadows off your body gently, silently shooing them back to their master.
“I’ll need to fly you like Cassian did to Nesta,” he began. “Are you afraid of heights?”
You didn’t know the answer to that. But the thought of being held by him the same way Nesta was by Cassian… that thought scared you. And not because it was Azriel, but because of the sheer closeness and intimacy that was needed for it.
You swallowed it down. “No… I don’t think so.”
He nodded, taking another step closer with an outstretched hand. “You can close your eyes if you wish, and I’ll fly slowly, I swear.”
You heard it then, the pattering of paws on the grass, of claws digging into the soil and snarls of breath into the night. You looked to Azriel, eyes a little wilder than before. He nodded, as if he already knew what you were about to say.
He held out his hand further for you to take, and you took a hold of his marred skin, calloused under your softer palm but you didn’t balk, didn’t pull away as you got a clearer view of the scars that adorned him.
Azriel hoisted you into his arms, cradling you to his chest. “The take off will be harsh, make sure you hold on tight to me.”
And he wasn’t lying. Azriel bent his knees and shoved his full weight into the earth before you both shot into the starlit skies. You didn’t close your eyes, you wanted to see everything this world had to offer. A world that was always at your fingertips but never accessible until now.
The wind seemed to whisper to you, gently caressing your bruised skin and promising a better life. A new life. As though the elements welcomed you home.
It was only moments of uphill force until Azriel evened out and began a steady speed through the clouds. His scent enveloped you, almost overbearing as it encompassed all of your senses.
You worried for a moment then. If his scent surrounded you this way, you wondered how badly yours did to him with such heightened senses. You tried to hold your breath for longer than usual, tried to steady your heartbeat, afraid he’d hear it.
“Are you okay?” He murmured against the shell of your ear. Because even though you tried to mask it, he could sense your every feeling, your every tremor and sigh and sob.
Tears streamed down your face as he flew you both north toward the border between Autumn and Winter.
“Thank you, Azriel.” And you thanked him and thanked him and thanked him. Until your voice grew hoarse from the sobs and you let yourself realise that you were finally free.
Finally safe.
Tumblr media
In the transitioning week of being escorted to the Night Court, you had hardly spoken to a soul. For the first two days, you appreciated the silence, the safety–basked in it, even. Nesta had shown you to your room in the House of Wind, an incredible home built into the walls of a large mountain that overlooked the city of Velaris.
“Should you need anything,” Nesta had said softly, “ask the House, it listens.”
And she had been right. The first night, you thought of a hot bubble bath and a gentle breeze had sifted through your sheer curtains, guiding you to your personal bathing chambers where a hot bath had been drawn, scents of calming lavender and jasmine coating you.
You only saw Nesta twice after that, once when she brought you some of her favourite romance books and again, two days later when she told you Feyre and Elain sent their love and well wishes.
She’d had the family's healer, Majda, check you over for any untreated injuries, and when she came up short she offered you a few tonics for the discomfort and encouraged you to rest before sending you back on your way.
You shouldn’t have expected more, shouldn’t have longed for more. You supposed Nesta had done her part enough–saving you from Rafe and bringing you here. And yet, despite the House tending to your needs and the souls of the romance novels…you felt just as alone as you had in the mortal lands.
You hadn’t seen Azriel since either, nor Cassian. You didn’t have much right to ask after them, to thank them again. They had their own lives and roles to fill, you knew your rescue had been nothing more than another third-grade mission to them.
By the fifth day, the realisation had begun to sink in. That you’d been moved from one lonely home into another. Perhaps that was the course your life was fated to take–alone, unnoticed, nothing more than a ghost in the wind, nothing worth acknowledging.
You wrote your thoughts into your leather-bound journal, the only form of release you had for these dark emotions. Yet every time the pen lifted from the parchment, you felt heavier than you had before.
You were yet to leave your bedroom, often sitting at the window seat that overlooked the lights of the city, wondering what life awaited down there. Wondered if you’d ever get the opportunity to explore it. Nesta had mentioned that the House was warded from winnowing, the only way out was to fly or descend the ten thousand stairs.
But you couldn’t fly, and you wouldn’t make the steps down either. You weren’t a prisoner, you knew that. But Nesta had done her part, saving you, bringing you to her and Cassian’s home. You were not her responsibility, not anyones.
Yet, you couldn’t help but feel trapped, restricted. Moved from one stone building and into another. Perhaps that was what finally made you venture out of your room, barefeet padding across the cool floors.
You followed the winding staircase to a lower level, noting the ornate furniture that decorated the large space. A crackling hearth caught your attention, so inviting and warm in front of a plush couch. The House seemed to beckon you to it, a gentle breeze against the backs of your bare legs and it made your short nightgown sway.
Following it, you sat on the couch and a thick blanket materialised and draped itself over your legs at the same time a steaming mug of tea and a new romance novel appeared on the table beside you.
You smiled softly, warmth spreading in your chest as you thanked the House.
An hour or so had passed, not that you were for certain, but the House remained silent. Nothing but sips of your tea and flipping of pages could be heard along with the crackling of the hearth.
For a moment, you felt at peace in your own company. Completely content for this time to sit and read and know you wouldn’t receive a beating or worse for it. You stretched out your back, stifling a yawn as a pair of soft footsteps greeted your ears.
Your eyes widened, an unnecessary apology already on the tip of your tongue, though for what you weren’t sure. That had become the norm for you, apologising for your every breath.
But it was not Rafe that stepped out of the shadows, of course not. It was Azriel, in all his glory, wings tucked neatly behind his back and you counted the seven blue siphons that adorned his leathers.
“Azriel,” you breathed, a sheepish smile on your face.
Finally, some company. Someone to acknowledge your presence and to perhaps converse with. You shuffled on the couch, making to put your book down but all Azriel did was give you a terse nod in greeting and a thin smile before walking down the hall and out of your sight.
It shouldn’t have hurt as much as it did. You should be used to this by now. You were used to it. But you couldn’t control that tiny thread of hope in your chest that things could be different. That you could be accepted and wanted and noticed.
For the eighth night in a row, you were left in the dark with nothing but the crippling loneliness and aching of your soul to keep you company.

Fern x Reader PT3(Final)
part 1
part 2
a/n: this is the final part of Fern’s main story, but not the end! You can still make Fern requests and I may rewrite this mini series in the future when I have time.
Fern had been depressed lately. He was a fairy, a dainty little thing, and you were now pregnant. He watched as you waddled around, struggling to do things.
If he were just bigger, he could ensure you never had to lift a finger.
All he could do was use magic to help when he could. Vines sprouted to grab things out of your reach or play with your pussy when you were feeling needy.
Fern wanted you so badly, to properly fuck into you and stretch out your fat cunt like he had before.
At night his wings fluttered softly as he rubbed your pregnant belly, kissing it. When his child was born, would he even be big enough to hold them? It made his heart ache to even think of such a thing. How could he protect his family when he was the size of a small doll?
That’s why he made a tough decision. Fern backed a bag, kissed your forehead and promised he would be back.
There were tales of a witch that lived in the center of the forest. She’d grant a single wish for anyone that came to her… but for a price.
He knocked once on the dirty window, noticing it was cracked and the wooden frame was chipped. Did anyone even live there?
The door creaked open, an old crone beckoning him in. “Hurry, I don’t have all day. Go on and tell me what you want.”
Fern sat on an upside down teacup, watching as the witch bustled about the dusty old cabin looking through books and half empty potion bottles.
“Uh… I wanted to know if you can make me… the size of a human.”
The witch paused, glancing at him. “I can, for a price. What are you willing to give me in exchange?”
~
It had been an entire day since you last saw Fern. He wasn’t the type to be out late, always returning before dark, so it was alarming that he had been gone for more than a few hours.
It was a bit hard walking now. You were six months along, but looked like you were closer to nine. Fern liked to joke that you seemed about ready to burst while laying his tiny head on your belly.
You could tell that his size was bothering him even more lately. As your pregnancy progressed, you needed more help, the kind someone as small as him couldn’t provide.
Despite what others may think, Fern was a proud fairy and hated that he wasn’t able to help his pregnant lover.
Fern wanted to provide and care for you, but that wasn’t really possible when he couldn’t even do most things for himself.
When the second day without any sightings of him filled around, you started to panic. It really wasn’t like him to be gone so long, especially when you were carrying his child.
‘Where could he be?’
Nearly a week passed without him. It was both depressing and terrifying, leaving you nearly bedridden at times. Everything seemed harder with Fern gone.
Even if he couldn’t do much of the heavy lifting, he used his magic to keep you from getting morning sickness, always comforted you when you were hormonal, and made sure all of your vegetables stayed fresh.
Without him, the world felt cold and uninviting. He made all the gray clouds disappear, but now that he was gone the sun had left with him.
You sat in your rocking chair as tears fell down your cheeks. After crying so much, your eyes were puffy and sore.
Even knitting for your unborn child was a chore these days, and you had only finished a single foot when you heard a knock at your door.
For a moment you thought Fern would be behind it… but that was stupid. He was the size of your hand, there’s no way he could knock that loud.
You didn’t rush to greet your guest. Instead you slowly put down the onesie you had been knitting and stood.
Trudging towards the door, you slowly unlocked it and pulled towards yourself…
“Hello, my love.”
You were breathless, eyes wide and mouth agape as you looked up to see a hair of brown curls and eyes as green as fresh oak leaves.
A hand reached out, cupping your cheek and swiping at your tears as you began to cry.
“Fern…”
You sobbed into his chest, warms wrapped tightly around him. He hugged you back, his eyes softening when your baby bump pressed into his abdomen.
“I’m so sorry, love. There was something I had to take care of, something so important I had to leave you for a while.”
As your lip wobbled, Fern began to explain what had happened.
After the witch asked him what he’d give in return, Fern was quick to answer.
“My immortality.”
You covered your mouth, eyes going wide as you swallowed harshly. “You… gave that up to be the same size as me?”
He nodded, smiling fondly as he tilted your chin up. “And I’d do it a thousand times over, love.”
Your eyes fluttered shut as he pressed his lips to yours a gentle, yet needy kiss. Although it felt amazing to kiss him after such a stressful week without him, you pulled back after a moment.
“But… why did you stay away for so long?”
Fern went pale, scratching the back of his head with a nervous laugh. “Let’s just say the process to become tall was… long and painful. That old witch enjoyed it too, I’m sure.”
After a moment of simply enjoying each other’s presence, you both walked inside.
After that, Fern waited on you hand and foot. He adored you, that was for sure. Every meal, activity, and even bathroom visit was managed by him.
Fern smiled down at you as he helped you into a bath, his eyes lingering in your heavy and swollen breasts.
When you hissed and winced in pain as your hands brushed against your sensitive nipples, Fern cooed out sympathetically.
“Here, just relax.”
His wings fluttered as his hands groped your fat tits, massaging and squishing them lightly. You let out such a delicious noise that he couldn’t help but lean forward and kiss your neck.
Fern’s cock twitched to life when milk spurted from your perky buds. He always got so hard when he was reminded you were heavily pregnant with his young.
“That’s it, feels good doesn’t it?”
His hand slipped between your legs, a vine replacing the now missing one at your tit while his other continued massaging you.
“Mmph… Fern…”
You had been so needy lately, begging for him to properly fuck you since he had returned. But he was hesitant. Fern didn’t want to potentially harm you or his unborn child…
But with some reassurance from you, the fairy joined you in the tub. He settled you onto his lap, continuing his ministrations.
His cock nudged at your warm cunt, desperate to be enveloped by your velvety walls.
And you wanted him just as much.
Fern groaned against your neck, keeping a hand on your baby bump for leverage as he bounced you up and down on his cock. It felt so good to stretch you out again and have you clench around him.
The vines rubbed at your clit, making you tighten up even more. You came again and again, your body way more sensitive due to your pregnancy.
He loved getting to fill you up with his seed. Watching the hot, white cum leak out of your cunt as he rinsed you off made him want to do it all over again.
But Fern wanted to go easy on you until after your pregnancy.
~
Months passed by, and Fern held onto your hand as you gave birth. Labor hadn’t been easy, but he was by your side the entire time.
“It’s a girl…”
You held onto your baby, eyes half lidded from exhaustion. Fern was an absolute mess, his eyes puffy and red as he sniffled.
“She’s beautiful…”
Fern handled almost everything as you recovered, and as your baby girl grew, her wings started to slowly develop.
“She has wings… is she..?”
“Immortal? Maybe, but I’m not sure… I impregnated you before the witch took my immortality, but she is half human…”
You kissed her little head, letting her nurse as your now husband knelt in front of you.
“I don’t want that for her, Fern. She would outlive all of us. Wouldn’t that be lonely?”
Fern paused to think, slowly reaching out to place a hand over your belly.
“… it wouldn’t be if we… gave her a sibling.”
And so the two of you had several children through the years, slowly repopulating the fairy race. You’d grow old together, and even if your children lived forever, at least they would have each other.

100% Whipped : ̗̀➛ Lando Norris
summary: lando is happy to do just about anything for you, which the other drivers are more than happy to remind lando about too
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lando looked around in confusion as sniggers came from around the room, his fellow drivers all looked at him in disbelief, many shaking their heads as he spoke once again.
“There are other things we can talk about,” Max told him, smirking across at Lando opposite him. “We don’t constantly just have to talk about your girlfriend you know.”
Lando’s brows furrowed in confusion as several others nodded in agreement with Max. It was a habit of his, and one he didn’t realise he had either, but the rest of the boys were all too aware of just how much Lando loved to talk about you, to anyone who listened.
They couldn’t help but smile at how fondly Lando spoke of you, the way his smile turned up and his eyes got brighter whenever the conversation was about you. As much as they loved knowing that Lando was happy, they didn’t need telling quite as much as they currently were.
“I don’t just talk about her,” Lando argued, but as the others rolled their eyes, Lando wasn’t quite so confident that he didn’t talk about you as much as they all suggested.
Although he would never admit just how much he adored you, Lando knew that he had been falling hard for you. He loved to gush about you and make sure that everyone else got to see what he saw in you, how kind, caring and funny you were.
The rest of the paddock knew that anyway, but Lando liked to make extra sure that was the case with all of his stories about you.
“Every time she’s not at a race you sit and complain that she’s not there and how much you need her,” Oscar spoke up, “she’s all we talk about on a race weekend.”
“Or when she is there, you refuse to let her out of your sight because you want to make sure that she’s alright,” George added, smirking across at Lando, “you don’t let her lift a finger.”
More and more stories came out as the boys all interjected with the moments that they’d experienced with Lando, seeing firsthand just how in love with you he was.
“I’m just being a good boyfriend,” Lando tried to argue once they eventually fell silent, but even Lando was beginning to realise that he went above and beyond, constantly.
“I think you know how she’s going to spend her day better than she does,” Daniel responded, unable to hold back his laughter. “You used to tell me every day exactly what she was up to, almost as if you knew where she was minute by minute.”
“Really?” Lando asked in surprise, not realising quite how much attention to detail he paid when it came to what you were doing.
“You don’t even realise that you’re doing it half the time.”
Lando’s stature shrunk, sinking down in his seat. “I promise that I’m not as whipped as you guys all probably think I am, it’s not that bad.”
“You are,” Carlos stated, sending Lando a knowing look, “but I guess most of the time it is quite sweet.”
“Aside from the fact that you make the rest of us look like terrible boyfriends,” Charles added.
Lando struggled to hold back his smile, although it wasn’t a competition, he knew that the two of you were a popular couple around the paddock. He felt like he was the standard, showing the others how to take care of your girlfriend properly and not care about what anyone else had to say about it.
“I wonder if she realises how whipped you are for her or whether she’s just used to it all by now,” Oscar spoke up, looking pensively across at Lando.
“I think Y/N is just as whipped for him as Lando is for her,” Daniel very quickly argued, “you should’ve heard some of the conversations we had about him when I was on the team.”
A smile emerged on Lando’s face as some of the boys nodded in agreement again. They were used to listening to you talk about Lando just as much, talking through how amazing his races were time after time as if they hadn’t been there to experience it themselves.
“Would you guys like me to stop talking about Y/N so much?” Lando asked them all.
The group felt quite guilty as Lando stared seriously across at them all. They all knew that he meant it, glancing between themselves as their heads all shook back across at him.
“We’re only messing with you buddy,” George assured him, tapping against his shoulders, “maybe we just don’t need to know every single last detail about her.”
Lando nodded, smiling back across at George. “I’m sure I can tone it down a little bit, the last thing I need is you guys all thinking that I’m whipped.”
“Mate, we all definitely know that you are though.”
He could try to deny it all he wanted, but the boys all knew what he was like. It was something in him that they were never going to change, but as such a popular member of the team, it meant a lot to all of them to see how happy he was with you.
“Don’t even try and deny it,” Max called out as Lando went to speak again, “wear it with pride, some people would kill to have the sort of relationship that the two of you have.”
“Do you really think that?”
“Of course,” Max smiled back across at him, “you know we’re always going to find something to tease you about, you’re still very much the baby of the grid to all of us.”
It didn’t matter how old Lando was, the boys were all very protective of him, and as much as they took every chance to make fun of him, they’d never let anyone else say a bad word about him.
“You just continue to do you,” Carlos smiled as he met Lando’s eyes, “some of these guys are never going to even get a girlfriend, so at least you’ve got that over them at least.”
“None of you can ever mention this to her,” Lando told them all, “do you know how embarrassed she be knowing that you guys see us as whipped for one another.”
Just like Lando, you were very aware of how whipped he was for you, but if anyone suggested that you were whipped for him, then you would categorically deny it. You knew how much he’d do for you though, savouring the feeling of Lando willingly doing absolutely anything to support you.
“We’ll keep it between us,” Oscar promised him, “unless she keeps stealing the chocolate I keep in the garage for once the races are finished. If that carries on, I’m making no promises.”
“I’ll buy you more,” Lando assured him, “just don’t tell her how whipped I am, or how whipped you guys seem to think that I might be.”
“Just admit it,” Charles laughed, brushing a hand through his hair. “Admit that you’re whipped for her, it’s not like we don’t already know it already.”
“Will you leave me alone if I say it?” Lando asked them all.
“We promise to leave you alone for the rest of the night.”
“Fine, I am 100% whipped for my girlfriend.”

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Ah! You're alive!" He smiled, coming to hug you tight in his arms. He took small note of how you looked at him, how happy he was even after many people had died, there was no reason to be happy.
Yet to him, there was. He was seeing you, and he was head over heels just for you. He would pull multiple things just to make sure you wouldn't be hurt in the slightest, whether it meant keeping you close to him, or having others die just to keep you by his side.
Scoffing, you shoved yourself off of him and squinted your eyes towards him. "Don't touch me. You're weird." His voice turned whiney as he did the exact opposite, throwing his body into your shoulders and hanging off of you. "Come on, this ain't primary school is it? I don't have any cooties." He shook you slightly noticing that you laughed, he swore he heard it but you shook your head and frowned— claiming you did nothing of that sort.
"He has no interest in you." Nam-gyu came up behind him, patting his arm. Thanos shook his head, "No, he does. He just doesn't know it yet." Nam-gyu gave him a weird look, looking back over at you and watching as your expression changed when you went to your own group of choice. "See that? He didn't smile at you." Thanos planted his palm on the brunettes face, ignoring him and shoving him off.
"Oh— dude!"
"Shut up." Thanos kept his eyes on you, but his words directed towards his friend. "I can tell when someone is playing hard to get, it's easy." Nam-gyu shrugged, "I can't tell."
"Well of course you can't." Nam-gyu made a noise of offense. What was that supposed to mean?
Night fell, and everyone just wanted to sleep. Needed a break, especially you. It was pathetic to you, your stomach hurt and you felt like crying every single second. You missed your mom, and you just wanted to go home. You wanted to eat at the dinner table with her again, you wanted to mess around again, and feel happy. But now you were here just because you thought this was a quick way to get money.
"Fucking scam.." you muttered, getting from your mattress to head off to the bathroom. It was quiet, the floors squeaky underneath the unbranded shoes you wore on your feet. This whole situation was unsettling.
You took a moment, splashing a bit of water on your face to clear your head.
Multiple thoughts that ran through your head had been interrupted by the door opening. "I'll be out in a minute.." thinking it was a guard, you wiped your face and got ready to leave.
"Leave? I just got here."
Oh, thanos could just hear your eyes roll before he even saw you. "Why the long face, hm?" His purple hair blurred passed you as he leaned on the sink, grabbing your hand to pull you closer to him. When you didn't pull away, he already knew he had you.
"It's none of your business." He looked up a bit, shrugging. "Good point. But I don't like that answer." God he was annoying.
A harsh breath pushed from your nostrils, taking a moment to think about what to say. You thought, and you thought, but then you thought too hard and your lip started to quiver slightly. Eyes getting watery, trying to get something out but it was silent and Thanos didn't expect this from you.
He himself stuttered a bit before he took into action, feeling your hand pull away slightly he tightened his grip and pulled you closer. The usual smug look was much more caring and considerate truly wanting to hear you out. "I'm sorry I just.." more broken sobs came out.
"I'm sick..sick, of this. I want to go home, Thanos I want to go home." From a few inches away, to hugging yourself into his chest he allowed himself to have his arms around you.
A slight smile tugged at the edge of his lips, it's not that he was going to fake comfort you because he really did feel sorry. It's just that this was his chance.
He stopped hugging you for a moment, opening his necklace, taking out an orange pill and offering it to you. "It's something that will make you feel better." He mumbled a small, "I promise." After seeing your suspicious face.
You grabbed it, observing it a bit. "Thanos. Is this a sex drug?" He eyes averted a bit, lips going into a thin line. Your face had pure disbelief, but you popped it anyways. Before he could even smile, your lips connected with his and you backed him into the stall of the pink doors.
The two of you were already hard, grinding on each other and practically swapping spit. His hands were kept on your hips, making sure you stuck to him like glue and didn't part from him.
"Oh fuck.." your voice, God he loved your voice and he needed to hear more of it. His lips came to your neck, open mouthed and sloppy and making sure marks were left for others to see that he finally had you.
Your fingers went to his hair, gripping them due to the pleasure he was bringing you. Damn he was good even if he was just dry humping you and sucking your neck. It made you think how many times he must have had sex before this as well, making you feel just a bit jealous.
You gripped tighter, pulling his head back so he could look you in your eyes. You shivered a bit feeling saliva drip down to your collar bone. Gross. "Fuck anyone after this, and I'll kill you myself." He giggled like an idiot, nodding his head. "Yes sir."
His tongue came to suck on his own fingers for a bit, while his other hand worked on pushing your pants and boxers down. "This gonna feel weird, just give it a minute." His joking tone dropped, giving you a bit of a feeling in your dick. He sounded like he wasn't high 24/7 though the two of you were high off of an aphrodisiac. It was just attractive.
His fingers prodded for a moment, before pushing in and you had instantly yelped. He pushed your head into his shoulder, shushing you. "It isn't that I care." He spoke softly into your ear, "But it would bother you if someone heard, hm?" His painted fingers moved inside of you, thrusting in and out and he knew exactly what he was doing and it had you crumbling right then and there, you were sure he was holding half your body weight up.
"Thanos, Thanos, fuck.." He himself had groaned, his own eyes rolling back hearing you moan out just for him. His fingers pulled out, making sure you kept still. "Don't move too much." Your eyebrow cocked a bit, what did he mean? He took out his own, tip red and sensitive as he messaged it up and down just a bit.
But you, your eyes were wide with surprise and almost regret. "No." He looked back up at you, "No?" But he needed a yes.. "No. No way is that gonna fit." Oh, that was it. He almost thought you were gonna leave him like this. "Oh, but please." He put your chin up, kissing at your neck again to keep you distracted.
"It's only gonna sting a little..tiny.." He pushed inside, too eager to wait it out and go inch by inch. You winced, hitting his shoulder as even more tears pricked at your eyes yet they were tears of pleasure.
"Shush, hey hey, stop moving." You whined and complained. What did he mean stop moving? This fucking hurt! But he only had so much time to prep you up.
"Slow, go slow—" "I am going slow." The feeling of his girth stretching you open was pain you never felt before, yet it felt so good at the same time. Groans turned into moans and whimpers, your harsh grip turning into soft squeezes on his clothes from each thrust he was giving you.
"Shit..so tight.." As much as he had wanted you to moan loud for him, you were getting a bit too loud yet you couldn't help it. He kept you preoccupied by kissing you, muffling your noises down just a little bit.
He was so damn close, could feel your pre on open skin and could feel himself pulsing inside of you, he was so close—
"Player 230, and 231."

Warnings: angst, illness, death, grief/loss, mentions of violence, guilt/sacrifice, emotional distress, Sang-woo won the games in this au, english isn't my first language, mistakes should be present, sorry!

The first time you met Sang-woo, it was in the bustling hallways of Seoul National University, your books pressed against your chest as he nearly toppled over you in his haste. Apologies poured out of him, flustered but composed, but it was the soft smile that followed that made you pause. You didn’t know it then, but that clumsy encounter would change both of your lives forever.
From that moment, he had become everything to you. And soon enough, you realized you were everything to him too. Sang-woo was the kind of man who always seemed in control of himself. But with you, that cool demeanor softened. He would laugh more, touch your hand absentmindedly, watch you as if you were the only thing in the world worth looking at.
You supported each other through the tough years at university. His mind was brilliant—quick, sharp, and endlessly determined. It wasn’t hard to see why he was the pride of his family, the hope of his mother. He was going to do great things, you always believed that, and you reminded him every chance you got.
Sang-woo always spoke of a future where he’d be successful, where his mother would never have to work a day in her life again. And somewhere in that future—he said with a tentative smile—was you.
Years passed, and the challenges of adulthood crept in. Sang-woo’s ambitions, once so pure and noble, became entangled in desperation as he fell into debt. It started small—a few bad investments, a loan here and there, promises that he’d make it all back soon. But soon, the debts piled into something worse, a mess that loomed over both of your lives.
He had so much promise, so much potential, and you wanted to see him succeed. So when he started to falter—when the world wasn’t as kind, when the debts began to gather up, and his once-unshakable confidence began to fracture—you did what you thought any partner would do. You helped him.
You saw the way the guilt ate away at him. He tried to hide it, but you knew him too well.
“I’ll pay off this part for now,” you’d told him gently, holding the bank statement in your hand. He had stared at you, his expression tight, his hands gripping the edge of the table so hard his knuckles turned white.
“No,” he had said firmly. “You’ve done enough. I should be the one taking care of you, not the other way around.”
But you didn’t care about that. You knew he felt ashamed, that his pride was bleeding, but you loved him too much to let him drown. “Sang-woo,” you whispered, reaching out to place your hand over his. “I’m doing this because I want to. Because I believe in you.”
He looked at you like you were his lifeline, the only light in his darkening world. He kissed your hand and said nothing more, but no matter how much you reassured him, the guilt lingered. He began to withdraw, the weight of his mistakes crushed him.
Then, as if the universe wasn’t cruel enough, you fell ill. It started with fatigue and a persistent ache in your chest. You brushed it off at first, telling yourself that it was just stress, but when the symptoms worsened, you finally went to the hospital.
The diagnosis was a gut punch. The doctors spoke in clinical terms, but all Sang-woo heard at the moment was that it was serious. You needed treatment, the treatment was possible, but expensive.
The hospital bills mounted quickly. You had always lived sparingly, but this was different. The treatment you needed was far beyond what either of you could afford, especially with Sang-woo already drowning in debt. You had tried to remain strong, tried to reassure him even when your body weakened and the days became harder to endure.
But Sang-woo wasn’t strong. At least not in the way you were. He didn't want to put up the pretense of having a "perfect" reputation anymore, he just wanted you.
One night, as you lay in your hospital bed, pale and shivering despite the blankets covering you, he dropped to his knees beside you. He gripped your hand so tightly it hurt, his head bowed, his shoulders shaking.
“I’ll get the money,” he said, his voice trembling with determination. “I’ll find a way. I promise.”
You looked at him then, really looked at him, and for the first time, you saw the man you loved falling apart. His face was gaunt, his eyes bloodshot, guilt and desperation consuming him.
“Sang-woo,” you whispered, your heart breaking for him. For both of you. “I’ll be okay... don’t do anything reckless.”
But he shook his head, his jaw set in that stubborn way you’d come to know so well. He pressed his lips to your forehead, a lingering, desperate kiss.
“I’ll come back,” he said. “With the money. Just hold on for me.”
You wanted to believe him, but as you watched him walk away, a part of you knew that he was heading down a dangerous path.
At first, you tried to think light. You thought he had simply left to clear his head. Maybe he was meeting someone to talk about loans or some other last-ditch effort to save you. But then the days turned into weeks, and Sang-woo didn’t return.
You tried calling him, but his phone went unanswered. You asked the nurses, his mother, even some of his old university friends, but no one had seen him. You didn’t know whether to be angry, scared, or heartbroken. All you knew was that he wasn’t here, and you were running out of time.
The nurses came and went, offering kind smiles and gentle reassurances, but it wasn’t enough. What you needed—what you wanted—was him, by your side.
You missed his voice, his laugh, the way he’d hold your hand and promise you that everything would be okay. You told yourself that he was out there fighting for you, but as the days stretched on, doubt began to creep in.
In your quieter moments, you wondered if he’d given up on you. If the burden had become too much and he just left without a trace. But deep down, you knew Sang-woo. You knew how much he loved you, how determined he could be. He’d find a way back to you. He had to.
In your final days, you thought about him often. You tried to convince yourself that he had a plan, that he would come rushing through the hospital doors at any moment with that look on his face, telling you everything was going to be okay, that you could heal properly now. But he didn’t.
Instead, you were left with an empty chair by your bedside, your heart aching with the absence of the man you loved more than anything in the world.
On the last night, you couldn’t fight the tears anymore. You whispered into the quiet room—“I just wish you were here.” Your voice cracked, and you closed your eyes, letting the exhaustion finally take over. You dreamed of him one last time—of the way he smiled when you first met, of his hand in yours, of the warmth that had once filled your life.
What you didn’t know—what you couldn’t know—was what Sang-woo was enduring.
He had entered the games through a salesman with a suitcase and a card with a number on the back. The games were a deadly competition where the stakes were higher than anything he’d ever faced. Life and death were decided in brutal, messed up versions of childhood games.
At first, he told himself he was doing it for you, for the money that could save your life. But as the games progressed, as blood stained his hands and the faces of those he’d sacrificed haunted his dreams, the lines began to blur.
How much of himself was he willing to lose to save you?
Every decision, every betrayal he made, weighed on him. He thought of you constantly, your smile a light in the darkness. When he felt the weight of his actions crushing him, he clung to the hope that he could still save you. That he could win, come back to you, and make everything right, no matter how exhausted he was, no matter how much pain he had to endure, it was all for you. Because how could he call himself a man—your man—if he couldn't even keep you by his side? If he couldn't even get the money to save you and have you in his arms again, healthy and full of life?
When Sang-woo finally emerged from the games, clutching the blood money that was counted from each of the lifeless bodies of the other players, he felt hollow. His actions, the lives he’d taken, the people he’d betrayed—all of it threatened to suffocate him. But he pushed it aside. None of it mattered now. All that mattered was you.
He rushed to the hospital, his heart pounding in his chest. He imagined the look on your face when he walked through the door, how you’d smile and tell him that he’d always been your hero. And for the first time since the games, he smiled. He smiled.
But when he reached your room, he froze, and everything inside him seemed to shatter.
You were still, too still. Your chest didn't rise or fall, your lips were pale, and your eyes—those eyes he had loved so much—were closed forever.
The nurse had pity in her eyes as she approached him. "I'm sorry... she passed away a few hours prior. We... we tried calling you, but..."
“No,” he choked out, he staggered to your bedside, falling to his knees onto the mattress of the bed, his hands reaching for you. “No, no, no… please, no…”
He pulled you into his arms, cradling your lifeless body as tears streamed down his face. “Wake up,” he begged, his voice breaking. “Please, wake up. I have the money now. I did it. I got it for you. You can get better now. Please, just… open your eyes.”
But you didn't. You couldn't.
“I got the money,” he whispered, tears falling from his eyes. “I have it. We can pay for your treatment now. You’ll be okay. You’ll be okay…”
Sang-woo's hand trembled as he cupped your face. Your skin was cold to the touch, a stark contrast to the warmth he remembered. He pressed his forehead to yours, the card that contained all the prize money laid forgotten on the floor, a cruel reminder of what he had to sacrifice to save you—of the blood, the death, and the lives he had destroyed in those games. He had told himself it was all for you, that he could endure anything if it meant seeing you smile again. But now, as he held your cold body in his arms, he realized it had all been for nothing.
“I’m so sorry,” he whispered, his voice barely audible. “I’m so, so sorry. I should’ve been here. I should’ve stayed with you. I thought… I thought I could save you.”
He had done everything he could to save you, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. And now, he was left with nothing, because you had been his everything.

A/N: I love a little "she fell first, he fell harder" trope, so I'm hoping you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it. :) I am once again pleading my case that I am NOT a JJ hater!! I just saw a clip of this scene from season 3 and was inspired because I too have been in Spencer's shoes and honestly it hurts, so I wanted to change up the outcome a little bit. The title comes from Taylor Swift's "So High School" but the fic isn't necessarily based around the song if that makes sense. As always, please tell me what you think! If you enjoy it, please like, reblog, and share it with your friends. <3 Thank you and I love you all!! :)

Y/N had never been particularly fond of JJ. They worked well together, of course—professionalism came first—but there was something about JJ that rubbed her the wrong way. It felt so high school to say, but Y/N had always seen her as a bit of a "mean girl."
Y/N had joined the BAU a year after Spencer, and she’d witnessed firsthand the awkwardness when Spencer, shy and eager, had asked JJ to go to a football game with him as a date after Gideon had given him tickets. A sweet, innocent gesture, only for JJ to show up with Penelope in tow, turning the evening into a humiliating disaster for Spencer. That was just one of the many moments Y/N had found herself bristling at JJ's treatment of him. Despite JJ’s consistent indifference and occasional cruelty, Spencer’s feelings for her had never wavered.
Until today.
Spencer sat across from JJ on the jet, eager to share his excitement about the book he was reading and its similarities with Pinocchio, his voice bubbling with enthusiasm as he rambled on. He barely noticed the lack of interest in JJ's eyes, her eyebrows raised in a near-sarcastic expression as she muttered a disinterested "Wow" in the middle of his sentence. She tossed the case file onto the table without a second glance and stood. "Interesting. Coffee?" she asked, her voice dripping with faux sweetness, her smile a brittle, saccharine mask.
Spencer froze, his words dying in his throat as she swiftly walked away. He felt a sinking sensation in his chest—an awkward mix of humiliation and disappointment. Was he that annoying? His hands trembled slightly as he glanced down at the book in his lap, the pages now feeling heavier than they had moments ago. He cleared his throat, but the discomfort lingered, thick in the air.
Y/N had been watching the whole exchange from her spot on the couch, her eyes narrowing as she watched JJ throw her head back in a loud laugh at something Morgan had said about “escaping the robot” from across the jet. That was the breaking point. Y/N's stomach twisted with frustration. She was tired—so tired—of watching JJ repeatedly gut the sweet boy simply because he had a hopeless crush on her, one that JJ clearly saw as beneath her.
Swinging her legs from where they were tucked underneath her, Y/N stood and made her way to the seat JJ had previously been occupying, sliding into it abruptly.
Spencer’s head jerked up as she quickly filled the seat, blinking hard as confusion washed over his features. “Oh! Uh, hey Y/N… was there something you needed?” he asked softly, his gaze dropping back to the table, hoping she wouldn’t notice the wounded look in his eyes.
“I was listening to your conversation earlier and wanted to ask if you would continue. Please.”
Spencer’s mouth parted in surprise, unsure if he’d heard her correctly. She… wanted to listen to him? He swallowed, his brows furrowing slightly as he hesitated before speaking. “You... you don’t have to do that just to make me feel better, you know.”
Y/N shook her head firmly, her hands coming together on the table as she leaned in slightly, her eyes never leaving his. “Spencer,” she said softly, her voice steady. “I’m not asking you to continue because I feel sorry for you. I’m asking because I actually want to hear what you have to say.” Her tone was gentle yet sincere, and there was no mistaking the genuine interest in her words.
Spencer’s heart raced as he stared at her, his mind struggling to catch up with the moment before he finally opened his mouth, stumbling over the words to continue his excited rant from earlier. Spencer felt something shift inside him with every hum of acknowledgment, nod, and occasional question or light joke. It hit him all at once—this was how she always spoke to him: fully engaged, genuinely curious. She didn’t see him as the genius or the outcast. She saw him as... just Spencer. A person. Not a curiosity. Not a burden. Just him.
And for the rest of the flight, Y/N encouraged Spencer to spill every single thought that came to mind, entranced by the sweet boy in front of her for the entire time.
It was late when they finally landed, the team worn out and eager to get home. With quick goodbyes and Hotch’s promise of a day off tomorrow, the group trickled out of the office, one by one. When Spencer was left alone in the bullpen, he let out a deep sigh, running a hand through his hair as he sat at his desk under the guise of needing to look for something before leaving. His thoughts kept drifting back to the interaction with Y/N on the jet. He couldn’t shake it. And for the life of him, he couldn’t understand why.
It wasn’t like they weren’t already friends—talking to her was nothing out of the ordinary. But something about their interaction today felt different. Maybe it was how quickly she’d stepped in when she saw he was hurt? Then again, the more Spencer thought about it, the more he realized that wasn’t all that unusual either. He’d often felt out of place—whether it was the team’s teasing that sometimes went too far, JJ’s backhanded compliments that left him more bewildered than flattered, or the officers who looked past him because of his age or appearance.
And every time, without fail, Y/N had been there. She was always the one picking up the pieces of his bruised confidence, offering him quiet support with nothing more than a kind word or a warm smile, never asking for anything in return.
“Spencer?”
Spencer jumped, the unexpected voice pulling him out of his thoughts. He spun around in his seat, heart racing, to find Y/N standing there, her hands raised in a placating gesture. He’d thought she’d already left with the rest of the team, but apparently, he’d been wrong.
“Whoa, take it easy—it's just me. Are you okay?” Y/N approached slowly, her expression softening with concern as Spencer took slow, deep breaths, trying to steady his racing heart.
“Uh, yeah! I-I’m fine,” Spencer stammered, wincing as his voice cracked. “I just… I thought everyone had already left.”
“Oh, sorry,” she said with a chuckle, flashing a sheepish grin. “I told Hotch I’d drop everything off in evidence before heading out, but I kind of took my time.” She shrugged, then glanced at him. “What about you? Why are you still here?”
Spencer hesitated, his brow furrowing as he thought about her question. What was he still doing here, other than overthinking a simple conversation on the jet? He cleared his throat and stood up from his desk. “I thought I left a certain book here, but... it turns out it’s actually at home.” The weak excuse was followed by a nervous laugh as Spencer fidgeted with his fingers, silently hoping she wouldn’t question him further.
It seemed luck was on his side, as she nodded slowly—her disbelief clear, but deciding not to press. Instead, she offered a soft smile and tilted her head toward the elevator. “Well, if you're heading out now, would you like to walk with me to my car?” Y/N asked, her voice laced with a hint of hope. “I can give you a ride so you don’t have to take the metro so late.”
Spencer was momentarily surprised by the offer, but before he could overanalyze it, he found himself nodding. She’d offered him rides before, and he’d always turned her down, worried he’d be inconveniencing her or that she was just being polite. But tonight, after the grueling case, he felt too drained to talk himself out of it. Honestly, he wasn’t opposed to spending a little more time with her—just the two of them.
“Um… that would be really nice, actually. Thank you.”
Y/N waved it off with a playful grin. “It’s really no big deal, Spencer. I honestly wish you'd take me up on it more often. I worry about you on those late trains, and I live just five minutes from you. It’d be nice to have some company on the way home.”
They continued their light conversation the entire way to the parking garage, pausing only when they got to her car. Y/N fumbled with her keys, unlocking the doors quickly before they slid inside.
The first thing Spencer noticed was the sweet fragrance of her perfume, filling the small space around them. He hadn’t really noticed it before, but now he found himself trying hard not to breathe in too deeply, captivated by the scent and wanting more of it. The smell of her shampoo blended with the fragrance, intensifying as she turned her head to back out of her parking spot. Spencer hadn’t even realized the car had started until that moment.
The next thing he noticed was the sticker on her dash reading Amor Fati. A faint smile curled at his lips as he shifted his gaze to her. He watched her silently for a moment as she focused on the road.
“Lover of fate, huh?”
“Hm?” Y/N frowned in confusion, shooting him a quick sideways glance as she stopped at a red light. It took a moment before she realized what he was referring to. “Oh, yeah. What about it, doc?” She chuckled, her voice light and teasing.
Spencer hummed, a sly grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Oh, nothing… But, did you know that Friedrich Nietzsche built most of his philosophy around that phrase?”
They plunged into a lively conversation, exchanging thoughts on various philosophers and their personal interpretations of the phrase. Spencer was captivated. The only other person who had ever indulged him in such “nerdy” discussions was Penelope (mostly about Doctor Who, of course). It was oddly refreshing, but at the same time, it only added fuel to the fire of his overthinking.
What was it that kept him so hopelessly fixated on JJ? She could be a good friend at times—he wouldn’t deny that—but there were moments when he felt like nothing more than a charity case. Like that kid who clings to someone at school, oblivious to the fact that they don’t actually want to talk to them. She was beautiful, of course—anyone could see that. But they didn’t share much in common, and their hobbies barely aligned. So why did he always end up seeking her out, when there were so many other people he could spend time with?
After the incident on the jet, Spencer had made a decision. He was done pouring so much energy into the blonde liaison and instead would focus on building a genuine friendship with Y/N. Not just the casual co-worker relationship they had, but something real. Maybe that’s why her sudden attention on the jet had caught him off guard. Maybe it wasn’t a crush forming, but rather a deep-rooted loneliness, a subconscious desire for a true friend. That had to be it.
The drive to his apartment seemed to fly by, and as Spencer stepped out of the car, he was surprised by the sense of reluctance that settled over him. He murmured his thanks and goodnight to Y/N, offering a shy smile, his thoughts lingering on the brief but unexpected moment of connection.
"Hey, Spencer?" Y/N called just as he was about to close the door. He paused, and she went on, her tone genuine. "I meant what I said. If you ever want to skip the metro and ride with me instead, I’d love the company. Honestly, I enjoyed our drive so much more than the usual Top 40 hits on the radio."
Spencer’s smile grew, a hesitant nod accompanying the soft bite of his lower lip. This was the opportunity to build something real with her, and for once, he decided not to second-guess it. “I’d really like that, actually.”
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat, a blend of relief and excitement bubbling up inside her. A smile spread across her face as she let out a soft breath. "Great. I’m looking forward to it," she said, her voice warm. "Goodnight, Spencer. Enjoy your day off tomorrow."
The first week of Spencer’s newfound behavior had Y/N feeling… disoriented, for lack of a better term. It wasn’t a bad feeling, not at all. She was genuinely thrilled by the extra attention, but she couldn’t quite figure out what had caused the sudden shift in their dynamic.
Spencer had begun riding home with her after work, both of them quickly growing fond of the newfound companionship. Throughout the day, he found himself gravitating toward her desk more often, offering to help with paperwork or providing a second opinion when she second guessed something. As they spent more time together, their conversations became easier—what had started as awkward exchanges soon evolved into Spencer initiating talks, no longer waiting for her to take the lead.
The irritated huff that escaped JJ’s lips as she stormed past everyone and into her office after Spencer politely declined her offer to sit with her and sort through case files, made it clear—Y/N wasn’t the only one noticing the change.
The next notable shift came when the BAU was called to California for a case. As everyone filed onto the jet and took their usual seats, there was one exception: Spencer Reid. When Y/N settled onto the couch, she was greeted by a soft, uncertain voice.
“Can I join you?” Spencer asked, his fingers nervously tugging at the end of his cardigan sleeves as he blinked at her with those sweet, vulnerable brown eyes.
The entire team glanced up in surprise, caught off guard by Spencer's decision not to take his usual spot across from JJ. Y/N, both puzzled and pleased, quickly moved to make space, patting the seat beside her with an encouraging smile.
"Of course, Spence. Go right ahead."
Spencer let out a quiet sigh, his shoulders drooping in relief as he settled into the seat next to Y/N, the tension he hadn’t realized he was carrying easing from his body. Ignoring the gawking from the others, he leaned in slightly, feeling more at ease in her presence. As Y/N opened the case file, he glanced at her with a small smile, ready to dive into the work with her by his side.
Morgan chuckled from across the jet, looking at JJ with raised brows as she scoffed to herself. "What'd you do to piss off the kid?"
“I didn’t do anything! And when did she start calling him ‘Spence’?” JJ grumbled, her arms crossed defensively as she narrowed her eyes at the two of them.
“Whoa,” Morgan muttered, his smile dropping into a frown. “Didn’t realize I was hitting a sore spot. What’s it matter what she calls him, anyway?”
JJ stiffened, her words catching in her throat as she struggled to respond. Morgan was right—she wasn’t the only one who could give Spencer a nickname. But that was her name for him, and it stung a little more now, given the distance that had been growing between them.
"It’s nothing," JJ replied quickly, forcing a casual shrug. "I was just surprised, that’s all." But even as she spoke, she couldn’t shake the unease lingering in her chest, unsure why it bothered her so much.
The remainder of the flight was spent with the team discussing the case, Hotch assigning tasks for when they touched down. Once they had gone over everything they could, the conversation tapered off, and silence settled over the cabin. Each team member retreated into their own thoughts, but Y/N and Spencer remained deep in discussion, quietly exchanging ideas about the unsub.
As they leaned in to continue their conversation, they unknowingly inched closer, drawn together by the ease of their shared focus. And when Spencer felt Y/N's knee brush against his, he kept his leg still, savoring the contact in silence—his secret to keep.
It took Spencer just over two months to finally gather the courage to ask Y/N to hang out outside of work or their shared car rides—something he had started contributing to so he could get more comfortable with driving. She’d quickly climbed the ranks of people he favored and felt comfortable with, but the fear of rejection still held him back. He didn’t want to jeopardize the connection they’d built, especially when it felt so important to him.
Spencer’s fear dissolved when he asked Y/N to come over and watch a film he’d picked up at an antique shop. Her excited smile and enthusiastic "Duh, I'd love to!" made him realize that she’d likely been waiting for him to take the first step all along.
He was grateful for how Y/N allowed him to move at his own pace, understanding that his accelerated path through high school and college had made it difficult for him to form connections. She never rushed him, giving him the space to open up when he was ready and letting their relationship develop naturally.
Y/N arrived at Spencer’s apartment, her arms loaded with snacks and dressed in cozy clothes, her excitement palpable. She enjoyed their car rides, of course, but an hour together hardly seemed enough compared to the time she truly longed to spend with him.
Y/N had been captivated by Spencer for years, but the more time they spent together, the harder her heart beat for him—every smile, every laugh, every conversation only added to her growing feelings. She told herself she was content with just being friends, that having him in her life, even in the smallest way, was enough. But deep down, she knew the truth—her heart yearned for something more, something that seemed just out of reach.
"Y/N! Hi, welcome in!"
The door swung open to reveal Spencer, his grin wide with excitement as he motioned for her to step inside. The sight of him—beaming with an almost childlike enthusiasm—made her smile in return. His apartment matched her expectations in the best way possible: shelves overflowing with books and quirky knick-knacks, soft, ambient light spilling from lamps that cast a cozy glow across the room, and a desk strewn with an organized mess of case files and open journals. It was a perfect reflection of Spencer—intellectually chaotic, but with an undeniable charm and warmth.
Spencer's heart skipped a beat as she entered the living room, and for a moment, he lost track of everything around him. He had always seen her dressed up for work—polished, professional, a perfect image of control. But now, in her casual clothes, with her hair down and no hint of the usual makeup, she looked entirely different.
She was still stunning, but it was a softer kind of beauty, one that crept up on him and left him breathless before he even realized it. It was subtle, almost unnoticeable at first glance, but once he took her in, he couldn’t seem to pull his focus away. Spencer had always thought he knew Y/N, but this version of her… this version felt like a secret he wasn’t ready to discover yet.
"Where would you like these?" Y/N asked, lifting her arms up with the snacks.
The sound of her voice broke Spencer from his daze, and he quickly moved to help, grabbing a few items to set them down on the coffee table. "Oh, uh, you didn’t have to bring snacks," he stammered, his hands fumbling with the food as he awkwardly rearranged it. "I was just going to order takeout or something. You’re the guest," he added, his words tumbling out in a nervous rush. His mind was racing, still caught in the subtle sweetness of her perfume that lingered in the air as he leaned in to grab the bags, making it hard to focus.
Y/N shrugged, a small grin playing on her lips as she set the snacks down. "I didn’t have to, but I wanted to. And if you’re still craving takeout later, I won't stop you from ordering it. Sound good?"
He nodded, his nose twitching as he grinned, feeling his tension ease. It was just Y/N, he reminded himself. There was no reason to feel this flustered.
An hour later, with the movie playing and a bag of gummy bears between them, Spencer quickly realized he'd been wrong. He had plenty of reasons to feel flustered.
The film, which had subtitles, was riddled with translation errors. Each time a jumbled sentence appeared, Y/N would lean in close, her breath warm against his ear causing shivers up and down his spine as she whispered, "What does that one mean?" Her thigh brushed against his, neither of them making any effort to break the contact. Spencer felt an almost electric warmth spread through him from the slight touch, his body aching for more. Was he really that starved for affection?
That night seemed to crack something deep inside him, like a dam giving way to a flood of longing for touch.
Spencer—who had always been wary of physical contact—now found himself drawn to Y/N in ways he hadn’t anticipated. Every time they handed each other papers or worked on case files together, he’d make sure their fingers brushed. As he passed by her desk, he’d let his fingers trace along her shoulder blades, offering her a quiet smile that she always returned. After particularly exhausting days, he’d seek her out, leaning into her embrace, letting her arms offer him comfort and grounding. And during their hangouts, Spencer no longer hesitated to inch closer, letting his side press against hers, or allowing her to stretch her legs over his lap. The proximity felt natural, and he couldn’t help but crave it more.
It only got worse as time went on. He couldn't keep his hands off of her. It wasn't just casual touches anymore—it was almost as if every opportunity to be near her was a chance to close the distance between them. Y/N couldn't get enough of it. And the team? They definitely noticed. JJ, in particular, seemed to pick up on it right away.
JJ had attempted to confront Spencer about his growing closeness with Y/N before, but each time, he waved her off, insisting that he and Y/N had simply discovered they had more in common than he'd realized and that he just wanted to be her friend. JJ wasn’t convinced—not for a second. It was obvious to her that Spencer was falling for Y/N, and for reasons she couldn’t fully explain, it left a bad taste in her mouth. It wasn’t that she harbored romantic feelings for him, but she had grown accustomed to his attention. As much as she hated to admit it, she missed being the one to receive it.
The tension finally boiled over when the team was dispatched to a case in Oregon.
It had been six months since the incident on the jet, and Y/N and Spencer had become almost inseparable. Garcia and Morgan, delighted by their closeness, often teased them and playfully begged them to just admit they were dating—though both vehemently insisted that their relationship was purely platonic. Rossi and Emily often exchanged knowing looks on the jet, with Emily even going so far as to snap a picture of Y/N and Spencer sleeping on the couch after a case—a cute picture featuring Spencer’s head resting on Y/N’s and her face tucked into his shoulder as they peacefully dozed together. Even Hotch seemed to approve, having reviewed the Bureau’s internal fraternization policies just in case Strauss raised an issue. The only person who didn’t seem thrilled about it was JJ.
Two days in Oregon, and the team was already facing an uphill battle. They’d been working non-stop to build a profile for the unsub, but so far, nothing had gone right. There were no witnesses who could provide a description, a local officer had already compromised key evidence from the first crime scene, and the victims seemed to have no clear link to one another. Frustration was mounting for everyone, but for JJ it was mounting for an entirely separate reason.
Spencer had been managing his frustration through subtle touches with Y/N—brief brushes of his hand against her lower back as he passed, pressing his head into her shoulder with a frustrated groan after combing through their limited information for hours... But the moment that pushed JJ to her breaking point was when Spencer, noticing an officer staring at Y/N, pulled her possessively into him, his hand firmly gripping her waist until that officer left the room.
"Y/N?"
JJ's voice was tight as she stepped into the conference room the local officers had set up for the BAU to use during their case, spotting Y/N standing in front of the pinned-up map of the area as she studied the locations where the victims had been found. Spencer had just left, going to start more coffee for them since they were running low. The rest of the team was out in the field, reinvestigating the crime scenes for anything that may have been missed initially.
Y/N looked up, her brow furrowing as JJ closed the door. They weren’t close on a personal level, and Y/N couldn’t think of any reason, related to the case or otherwise, for JJ to want to speak with her alone.
"...Yes?"
JJ lingered near the end of the table, her arms crossed across her chest as she leveled Y/N with a look that immediately had her on edge. "I’m not trying to pry, but as his best friend, I have to ask… what’s going on between you and Spencer?" Her face was twisted in a scowl, her head tilting as she waited for a response.
Y/N's eyebrows nearly shot up into her hairline at that, a scoffed laugh leaving her lips before she could stop it. His best friend. Was she serious?
"Excuse me?"
"What's going on with you and Spencer?" JJ repeated, her voice deliberate. "Everyone’s noticed how he’s been acting—the constant touching, for one, is a bit much, don’t you think? He never wants to hang out with me anymore. It’s like he's all about you now. So, are you two seeing each other or what?"
Y/N turned to face JJ fully, her lips tightening into a thin line as she took a steadying breath. Her audacity was astounding, truly. The last thing she wanted today was to argue with this fucking—
"That's hilarious, Jennifer. Really," Y/N chuckled lowly, shaking her head. "Have you ever considered that maybe—just maybe—Spencer is an adult who can make his own decisions? I’m not the reason he doesn't want to spend time with you."
JJ stiffened at the mention of her name, scoffing in response. "Oh, clearly you have something to do with it. Before you started driving him home, he followed me around like a lost puppy. Now he barely even wants to be around me!"
That struck a nerve in Y/N, like a live wire finally sparked to life. A lost puppy? Was that truly how little she thought of him? Y/N's head tilted, her voice dropping to a low, dangerous tone as she spoke again.
"Don't you ever talk about Spencer like that again. He's not your fucking pet, Jennifer!"
Her voice was menacing as she stepped forward, grim satisfaction coursing through her as JJ stumbled backward.
"Spencer is a brilliant, capable man who’s never deserved the way you or anyone else have made him feel less than that. We’re not dating. But if we were, I wouldn’t be ashamed of him. Unlike you, who found the idea of a man like him adoring you repulsive instead of seeing it for the gift it was. Spencer Reid is a fucking treasure, and it’s entirely your fault you never realized how lucky you were to have his attention."
Y/N's face was flushed red with anger, her chest heaving as she seethed.
"So again, I have nothing to do with him not wanting to spend time with you anymore. Maybe he finally realized that you're just not as great of a person as you pretend to be."
Rather than waiting for the teary-eyed, speechless blonde to reply, Y/N grabbed her things and stormed out, heading out to take an early lunch. But as she swung the door open, she was met with Spencer standing right there, and before she could react, she collided with his chest. His hands immediately flew to her waist, steadying her as she looked up sheepishly.
"Shit! I’m sorry, Spence," Y/N muttered, still fuming from her conversation with JJ. Her face turned even redder when she realized he might have heard some of it, but she didn’t regret a word of what she’d said.
He hadn't just heard some of it... He'd heard all of it. When he’d left earlier, he’d turned back, intending to ask if she wanted to take a break from the map. Instead, he had been met with the sight of JJ closing the door, and he curiously (shamefully) pressed up against it to know what was going on.
Admittedly, it stung to hear JJ talk about him like that, even though he already knew she'd taken advantage of his past crush on her. But Y/N's words and how she defended him hit him harder than expected. It became clear in that instant—no one had ever been there for him the way she always had been, and somewhere along the way, he'd fallen deeply in love with her.
"Hey, hey, it’s alright," Spencer said quietly, his hands smoothing over her waist before resting gently on her shoulders. "Go take your lunch. You’ve earned a break. I’ll keep working on the geographical profile until you return."
Y/N offered a weary but grateful smile before walking away, leaving Spencer alone to process the revelation weighing on him.
That night, Spencer paced his hotel room, caught between waiting until they were home to tell Y/N how he felt or just saying it now. He felt like an idiot for not recognizing it sooner, for convincing himself his feelings for her were purely platonic. But now that he knew, it consumed him. He wanted to shout it to the heavens, to tell the world he was in love with her.
Spencer knew what he had to do. He realized that confessing his feelings in the middle of a case wasn’t ideal, but the thought of waiting any longer to let her know how much she meant to him was unbearable. That’s why, before he could talk himself out of it, he found himself standing outside her door at midnight, knocking softly.
"Spence? You okay?"
Her sleepy voice tugged at his heart as she opened the door, rubbing her eyes and letting out a soft yawn. She smiled faintly, gesturing for him to come in. The room was cloaked in darkness, but the moonlight spilling through the curtains illuminated the crumpled sheets, evidence of her restless sleep.
His heart hammered in his chest as he breathed in unsteadily, lowering himself onto the edge of her bed. She crawled back to the middle, flicking on the bedside lamp, the soft light casting a warm glow between them. His courage started to falter, but the gentle concern in her eyes anchored him. He remembered why he was here—because with her, he felt safe enough to face this, no matter how vulnerable he felt.
"Y/N, I—" Spencer began, his voice catching for a moment, but he continued anyway. "I heard what happened with JJ earlier, and it made me realize something I should’ve recognized a long time ago. I was so caught up in denial that it didn’t hit me until now. And I’m so sorry for that…"
Oh, fuck. He was starting to ramble. This isn't how he wanted this to go at all—
"Y/N... I'm in love with you. I am so, so in love with you that it aches. You are, without a doubt, the most beautiful person I’ve ever known. And it’s not just the way you look, though I could spend hours talking about how stunning you are. It’s who you are, the goodness that radiates from you. You make me want to be better, to wake up every day and try to be at least half the person you are. You care for everyone around you like it’s your purpose, and I want to be the one who takes care of you for once because you truly deserve that. I’ve never felt anything like this, and if you don’t feel the same way, that’s okay. But I just—I needed you to know."
Y/N’s jaw dropped as Spencer’s confession filled the air, her eyes welling with tears as the words she had longed for spilled from him. She moved swiftly, sitting up from the pillows and crawling toward him, a tear dripping down her cheek as she rested her hands on his shoulders.
"I love you too, Spencer Reid," she breathed, her voice trembling with sincerity. "I love you with everything I am."
Spencer’s lungs burned as he released a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. He returned her watery smile, his heart overflowing with love for the woman before him. Carefully, he cupped her face, his thumb following the line of her cheeks, his eyes filled with a quiet mix of wonder and adoration.
“Can I kiss you? Please?”
Her lips were on his the second he uttered the last syllable.
The kiss was both gentle and intense, their lips meeting with a deliberate slowness as if savoring every moment of crossing the line from friendship into something more. There was a hunger beneath the tenderness, an unspoken yearning finally being released. Their lips parted for only a second, allowing them to suck in a quick breath before they were back on each other. Each kiss was a quiet revelation, better than they had ever dreamed.
What started as an innocent declaration of their feelings for each other quickly evolved into something more ravenous as Spencer’s tongue prodded at the seam of her lips. The soft exhale Y/N released as their tongues brushed together had Spencer groaning, one of his hands sliding to cradle the back of her head as he savored the taste of her and the feeling of her lips against his. His other hand gingerly slid down her body, settling on her hip as he leaned forward, guiding her to rest against the pillows.
Y/N’s thighs parted eagerly to make room for him between them, her hands lacing through his hair as she tugged him impossibly closer. His elbows dug into the mattress beside her body as he hovered above her, swallowing the moan that slipped from her lips when their hips pressed together. He chased her lips when she tipped her head back, kissing her with an intensity that made her dizzy and had her whining into his mouth.
"I-I want— Spence, please—"
Y/N pleaded as his lips trailed down the side of her neck to suck a mark into her collarbone, though she wasn't even sure what she was begging for. She just knew she needed him. Her body felt like it was aflame, ignited by the spark that was Spencer's tongue soothing the possessive bruise now blooming across her skin. She needed him so desperately that her mind became a blur, consumed by an endless craving, unable to focus on anything but the overwhelming desire for more—more of him, more of this, more of everything he offered.
The thin fabric of their pajamas did little to conceal the feeling of his stiff cock grinding against her in subtle rocks of his hips as his hands began to roam her body, only adding to the overwhelming need she felt coursing through her. Spencer hushed her with a gentle peck, his lips lingering against hers for a brief, sweet moment before he moved to kiss her nose, her cheeks, and finally her forehead. With each gentle kiss, she couldn't help but giggle softly, her laughter melting into the space between them.
"I know, pretty girl. You're already so worked up and all I've done is kiss you," he cooed, the words taking her by surprise. He wasn't wrong. A wet patch had started seeping through the cotton of her pants, something his fingers had taken an interest in as he began to lightly skim up and down her clit with his knuckles over the damp fabric. "No one ever takes care of you, do they, baby? Let me be the one to take care of you, Y/N. Please?" He paused, gently lifting her chin so he could meet her gaze.
Spencer’s words quieted the storm raging inside her, and she took a deep breath, her body finally relaxing. She couldn’t recall the last time she’d felt such a strong desire to let go, to stop carrying the weight of everything alone. To finally surrender and let someone take care of her. So she did exactly that.
"Yes. God, yes. Please, Spencer," Y/N whispered, her eyes searching his, full of need and trust.
It was as if a switch flipped the moment Spencer got the confirmation he needed.
His lips were back on hers in an instant, devouring her as though she'd melt away if he stopped touching her for even a second. He rolled them over, breaking the kiss to glide his hands underneath the rumpled t-shirt Y/N had on for bed and lifting it over her head in one swift motion. Ignoring her soft squeal of surprise, he brought his hands down to her hips, massaging the skin there before sliding his hands under the waistband of her pajama pants to grip her ass.
"Look at you… You're nothing short of incredible. Absolutely breathtaking," Spencer murmured, staring up at her in awe. The soft brown of his eyes had faded, overtaken by the dark void of his dilated pupils, as if a veil had been drawn across them. "I can't even begin to express how lucky I am to have you... how beautiful you are."
Y/N’s cheeks flushed under his gaze, her teeth gently catching her lower lip as she placed her hands beside his head for support. She shivered as her nipples brushed against the fabric of his shirt, hardened by the cool air of the hotel room and the desire she felt coursing through her. She answered with a hum and ducked her head shyly, mouthing at the sensitive skin underneath his jaw as she wriggled impatiently in his hold.
Spencer chuckled breathlessly, squeezing her ass again before retracting his hands. His fingers danced along the waistband of her pants teasingly before he began to tug them down, dragging her panties with them. His heart raced as she wiggled out of them, hammering against his chest with a rhythm that felt almost deafening. He couldn’t comprehend what he’d done to deserve someone like her, but he would spend a lifetime making sure she knew just how precious she was to him.
"It's your turn to strip," Y/N mumbled as she sat up, straddling his waist as her hands found their way under his shirt. "I feel so... exposed."
Spencer’s brows quirked in amusement, a quiet laugh slipping out before he could stop it as she shoved the shirt up and over his head. She slithered down his body, grinning up at him before placing a kiss on his hip bone. His pants soon joined the growing pile of clothes on the ground, followed shortly after by his boxers.
"There. Is that better, sweetheart?" Spencer teased, but the words went completely unheard as she gawked at him.
Y/N kneeled between his spread legs, her hands planted firmly on his thighs as she took in the sight of him. He lay before her like something straight out of her most vivid dreams, more stunning than she’d ever imagined. He was effortlessly handsome—his hair tousled, lips slightly swollen from their kisses, and freckles and scars scattered across his shoulders and chest like a map of his past. His muscles were lean and toned, and the sparse hair trailing down beneath his belly button was far more enticing than it should've been. His cock was as pretty as he was, the flushed head of his more than impressive arousal matching the pink of his cheeks.
She couldn’t tear her eyes away.
"C'mere. I'm supposed to be taking care of you," Spencer grinned, motioning for Y/N to crawl back over him.
Instead of letting her settle with her thighs around his hips like she had previously been, he tugged insistently, her brows furrowing in confusion as she wobbled above him.
"Spencer, what—"
"Get up here," Spencer crooned, finally managing to maneuver her forward so her pussy hovered over his mouth. "And sit down."
Y/N's jaw dropped, her hands flying out to catch herself as she gripped the headboard. She was taken aback, utterly speechless. Here she was, being manhandled by Spencer Reid. The same quiet, awkward genius who rambled endlessly about statistics and couldn’t sit still for more than a minute was man-handling her and demanding she sit on his face. Was she dreaming?
"Are you— are you sure?" Y/N squeaked, staring down at him with wide eyes. "You really don't have to—"
Spencer turned his head so he could pepper open-mouthed kisses up and down her inner thigh, coaxing a soft moan from her as his warm breath fanned across her soaked folds.
"Stop all that worrying, pretty girl. I told you I'd take care of you—let me keep my word."
Before she could protest, Spencer gripped her hips, pulling her down at the same time he tilted his head up to lap his tongue over her core. Any hesitation Y/N had left evaporated from her body as a guttural moan ripped its way from her throat, her eyes fluttering shut as Spencer dragged his tongue over her clit. His movements were languid but hungry as he reveled in the taste of her, relishing her essence as though it was the very thing he needed to fuel his existence.
The air was filled with a mixture of moans and the slick sound of Spencer's mouth working between her legs, only amplifying the intense pleasure swimming through her body. Once Spencer was sure Y/N would stay put, he let one of his hands fall away from her hips, tracing it down his body until it wrapped around his cock. The breathy sounds she was letting out had him painfully hard, his thumb spreading the bead of precum spilling from the tip down the length of him as he began to pump himself.
"Oh, fuck—" Y/N whined as she forced her eyes open, turning to look over her shoulder at the sound of Spencer touching himself. The sight had her thighs trembling, a low groan rumbling in her throat as she turned her gaze down to look at him underneath her.
His eyes were squeezed shut, his brows pinched together in pleasure as his hand began to move faster. It was downright sinful. She'd never seen anything more beautiful.
Spencer alternated between fucking his tongue into her and sucking gently at her clit, the combination hurtling her toward her orgasm at a speed she never thought was possible. Y/N's hips rocked against his face, frantic whimpers slipping from her lips as her face began to scrunch in pleasure. The needy moans he was letting out against her skin pushed her over the edge as a sharp gasp broke free into the air, followed by a loud cry as her hands dropped from the headboard to tangle into his hair while she came.
Spencer whimpered as he let go of himself, instead using his hands to anchor her down while he gently worked her through her climax. He pressed a small kiss to her clit before she squirmed away, falling onto the bed beside him as her chest heaved. A look of adoration lingered on his face as he stroked her side and hair, pressing his lips to her forehead while she caught her breath.
Y/N flashed a small grin, rolling her eyes at his proud expression. A comforting heaviness settled in her limbs, pulling her deeper into the bed as she released a soft sigh. It took her a few moments to push herself up on her elbow, shifting to face him instead of lying flat on her back.
"How am I ever supposed to get anything done again now that I know you can do that?" Y/N murmured with a hint of exasperation, tilting her head to nuzzle her nose against his.
Spencer’s breath hitched as she draped her leg across his waist, hissing quietly as the head of his cock brushed against her warmth. He hummed, feigning thought before shrugging with a playful grin. "Could be a reward for a job well done," he teased, brushing a lingering kiss across her lips as his hand rubbed up and down her thigh.
"Yeah?" Y/N's hips began to slowly rock back and forth, the friction from his cock pressing between her folds making her head spin. "Well, can I reward you for a job well done then?"
Spencer's fingers flexed against her thigh, a low noise escaping him as he fought to keep his eyes on hers.
It made sense to him now why sailors would plummet into icy waters at the sound of a siren's call. If that call was anything as alluring as the sound of her voice, he'd happily do the same. She could demand the most heinous things of him right now and he'd do them simply because she asked.
But tonight was about her.
So instead of caving and begging for her touch, he shook his head, his lips quirking up at the pout forming on her lips. "As much as I would love to take you up on that offer, I'm supposed to be taking care of you, sweetheart. Not the other way around."
"Okay... so then take care of me by fucking me. Please?"
Spencer's resolve broke at her words. How could he possibly deny her? He'd be an absolute fool not to give her whatever her heart wished for.
His lips met hers in a fervent kiss as he moved to hover over her once more. Two of his fingers found her soaked pussy and sank inside of her with little resistance, a smug grin finding its way to his face as she gasped loudly into his mouth. He broke the kiss, trailing his lips along her jaw before he whispered into her ear.
"Are you sure that's what you want?"
Y/N bucked her hips up into his touch, writhing underneath him as she nodded frantically. There wasn't a thing in this world that she wanted more. "Yes, Spence, please. Please fuck me. I need it—"
Spencer groaned, latching his lips onto the side of her neck as he inhaled sharply through his nose before he sat back on his heels. His fingers slipped out of her, her eyes widening as he brought the digits to his mouth and sucked them clean with a satisfied hum.
"Flip over."
Y/N followed his command without hesitation, the rush of anticipation making her feel almost detached, as though she were on autopilot, waiting to see what he would do next. Her breath caught in her throat as his lips pressed a gentle kiss to her shoulder before he reached for a pillow, tucking it underneath her hips to prop her up. A low whine emitted from her chest as she felt the flushed head of his arousal bump against her entrance, her hips canting back in an attempt to get him to push forward as he leaned forward, his chest brushing her back as he planted his hands into the mattress beside her.
"Do you want it like this, sweetheart? No condom? Because I can go find one..." Spencer murmured into her ear, his breathing labored as he teased her opening.
"Please— Wanna feel you, Spence," She whined into the pillow, arching her hips into his touch, though he remained just out of reach.
Spencer's eyes squeezed shut as a pang of arousal shot through him, taking a shuddering breath to mentally prepare himself not to blow his load before he even fucked her. With a kiss to the back of her head, Spencer began to press forward, easing into her inch by inch.
Y/N's mouth gaped open against the pillow she'd tugged underneath her head in a silent moan, the sensation of him finally filling her more intense than she'd expected. Her fingers gripped the sheets as he bottomed out, a pitiful whimper slipping free as she wiggled her hips in an attempt to adjust to the feeling. Her walls clenched around him instinctively as she adjusted, causing a broken moan to fall from his lips as his head rested against her shoulder, his breath puffing across her skin in warm bursts.
His right arm kept him braced above her while his left arm made its way under her chest, pulling her close as his hand began to grope at her breasts. His fingertips pinched one of her nipples, reveling in the soft moan she let out. "Are you ready for me to move, pretty girl?" He breathed, peppering kisses along the side of her face as he waited for her to relax.
At her nod, Spencer began to move, his thrusts slow but powerful as he repeatedly drove into her. He shifted up onto his knees, pulling her hips back into his languid thrusts as she moaned beneath him. The angle allowed him to brush her G-spot with every stroke, causing her toes to curl with each pang of pleasure that wracked her body. His hands squeezed the flesh of her ass, a low whine bubbling in his throat as he took in the sight of his cock sliding in and out of her.
It was downright erotic, the sight of her arousal coating the wiry curls at the base of him driving him insane. She was so fucking wet for him. The knowledge that he was making her feel this good made his head spin. He couldn't keep it to himself anymore. He needed to show her how deeply this was affecting him, to make her understand the intensity of the way she made him feel.
Everyone knew Spencer liked to run his mouth. It wasn't a surprise that this remained true during sex. What surprised Y/N, however, was how absolutely filthy of a mouth the man had. Spencer, the same Spencer who had barely uttered a curse in all the years she'd known him, was now stringing together words that would make even the most foul-mouthed person blush.
His pace increased with each word he murmured, small "ah, ah, ah's" spilling from her lips as he began to really pound into her.
"Does that feel good? Huh? Finally being taken care of the way you deserve?"
"Fuck— look at you, baby. Taking my cock so well. Do you like that? You like feeling me stretch you open?"
"Such a perfect pussy, sweetheart. So fucking good for me. So tight. My beautiful girl."
Every vulgar word he breathed into the space between them had her mind reeling, her body teetering on the edge of release as her walls fluttered around him. Desperate moans began to spill from her as she took everything he had to offer, her teeth digging into her lower lip to try to stifle the noises in an attempt not to wake everyone on that floor of the hotel. Spencer's gaze was locked on the way her ass rippled with each thrust, a look of pure ecstasy on his face as his brows pinched together and his mouth hung open.
"S-Spence— I'm so close—" Y/N whimpered, burying her face into the pillow beneath her as she moaned helplessly.
He dragged one of his hands away from where it was squeezing her hip, shoving it between her hips and the pillow propping her up as he began to stroke her clit in time with his thrusts. "Let go, sweet girl. Cum around my cock. Show me how good I make you feel."
She cried out at that, thrashing underneath him as the tension coiling in her lower belly finally snapped. Spencer's hips stuttered, a guttural moan wrenching its way from his throat as she squeezed around him, her legs trembling as one of the most powerful orgasms she'd ever experienced washed over her in waves.
"God— fuck, I'm about to cum," Spencer grunted, his eyes squeezing shut briefly as he swallowed hard, his chest heaving with exertion as he fucked her through it. "Where do you want it, pretty girl?"
"Wanna taste you... Spence, please—" Y/N slurred beneath him, weakly pushing up on her elbows to turn and look at him over her shoulder. Her bottom lip was swollen and lightly bruised from how hard she'd been biting at it, and her eyes were watery with unshed tears as the pleasure began to overwhelm her.
The sight of her looking so ruined almost had him spilling inside of her, and with a muffled curse he pulled out of her, fisting his cock as she rolled onto her back and stuck her tongue out patiently. He shuffled up her body, bracing himself with one hand against the headboard as he gazed down at her reverently. The amusement he felt from the brief feeling of deja vu from having her in a similar position earlier that night was short-lived as his head tipped back, a strained whimper filling the air as her tongue brushed against the head of his cock.
It only took a few pumps for him to cum, his eyes rolling back into his head when she sat up to take him further into her mouth as rope after rope of his essence flooded her throat. Y/N sucked gently, working him through his orgasm until his hips were jerking and he was whining, pulling off of his softening cock with a slick 'pop'. He crumpled onto the bed next to her, his heart pounding almost painfully against his ribcage as he struggled to catch his breath.
Spencer wrapped her tightly in his arms, his lips brushing against the top of her head with soft, repeated kisses. Between each tender touch, he murmured how incredible she made him feel, how he couldn’t believe he was lucky enough to share this life with her, let alone love her the way he did. Y/N whispered back, her voice soft but full of conviction, telling him how deeply she cherished him and how every part of her was filled with love for him.
Her fingers idly traced patterns across the flushed skin of his chest until he caught her hand, pressing tender kisses to her knuckles before quietly slipping out of bed. She groaned petulantly as he pulled her to her feet, ushering her towards the bathroom with a pat to her butt and a mumbled but passionate lecture on the timeframe after sex in which she needed to pee to avoid getting a UTI. Even though she knew he was right, she still rolled her eyes as she trudged into the bathroom. She decided to brush her teeth while she was there as well, giggling to herself at the thought of kissing Spencer with the taste of him still in her mouth.
When she stepped out, Spencer had changed the sheets and set a bottle of water on the nightstand, flashing a drowsy grin as she slipped into bed next to him and turned the lamp out. "What's all this about?" she teased, her smile breaking into a yawn.
"I'm taking care of you, just like I said I would."
It didn’t take long for exhaustion to settle in, both of them murmuring good nights between soft kisses. As they drifted off together, Y/N felt certain he would be taking care of her for the rest of his life—and she was just as sure that she would do the same for him.

Continued A/N's: Happy (late) start to December!! I really hope you guys enjoy this :') I plan on doing a little something (maybe, possibly ;) ) for Christmas, so stay tuned for updates on what that little something may be. Also, a loving reminder that my requests are open! :) <3 K
REMINDER: I do NOT give permission for my work to be re-uploaded to any other platforms (c.ai, Tiktok, ao3, etc.) under any circumstances. If you'd like to translate my work, then please ask me before doing so. I know it sounds whiny, but I (as well as many other fanfic writers) spend so much time on these and it's genuinely not okay to take credit for work that isn't yours. It's insulting and completely unnecessary. If I do see my work uploaded anywhere without explicit permission, I WILL say something.
