#ik what anon was talking about but man. that aint what i meant fuck out of here.#when i talk about bungie im talking about their poor practices as a corporation bc thats. thats my special interest.#yes the writing is bad but brother is goes so much fucking deeper than Coding and Bad Rep trust me. grabs you by the neck.#the rep is bad and poorly written bc they hire people who are not capable of writing the rep the company wants them to write#those people are told to write something and use whats available to them to give their higher ups what theyre asking for.#thats why that couple exists in the game. they were forced to use what was put in front of them. their only tools#and you could argue just put new characters! but thats not how this works. big name characters sell better like this#and yes it is pandering but its not just about that particular ship you dont like. its the whole corporation trying to brand itself#in a certain way and make Sell-able Moments. and gay men in games sell.#dont come to me with your internet rotted tumblr discourse lense
