I say I donât ever want to work a day in my life.
And people ask, âWouldnât you get bored without a job? Wouldnât it be nice to have something to keep you busy; occupied?â
No, I really wouldnât. I would be perfectly content laying in bed for hours, going for a light walk at quiet hours, randomly heating up food when I need, seeing friends here and there, and acting on the whims that hit me. Maybe today I watch a movie. Maybe I write. Maybe I build a model car. Maybe I just take a nap
And theyâll tell me, âBut youâre so smart; you have so much potential.â
As if the people donât want to work are inherently dumb deadbeats. All smart people with potential want to work, they think.
But, really, they see the potential of someone who doesnât have consistent back pain or a neurodevelopmental disorder. They see someone who doesnât âlookâ like theyâd have a hard time with working 40 hrs a week for the next 50-60 years (because itâs pretty clear Iâll never afford retirement). They see someone who doesnât âlookâ like they canât succeed under the current conditions.
Nevertheless, here I am. One missed paycheck away from not being able to pay rent because (just slightly under) half my income goes toward rent. And Iâm one missed adderall away from getting fired.
I donât want to work, ever, and Iâm not sure I can.

aithusia
hi bestie @lady-ofmagic-andstars it's been a while. i said i would do this episode last week but i had to wait for the destiny and chicken podcast to come out so here we are. basically, all of my thoughts while watching aithusia.
ugh the opening scene. i actually love it
ok ngl i remember that this guy is the bad guy but he's like đ„”đ„”đ„” jeez
ik it's not just on tiktok but that tiktok where it goes 'but momma i'm in love with a criminal'
wow nice key bud
ok him running in the forest is just like you cannot outrun your demons and i thought that was so funny
smh he's so violent but he's so pretty :,)
ok but how old is this guy?? he say it's taken 20 years of his life. why 20? is that because that's when the 'last' dragon died out?? and at what age was he socially concious enough to recognize the implication of what it means to have a dragon? his is so dumb but probably like 15? so this guy is 35ish? idk man thoughts?
ok if he just feel off the cliff instead of being able to pull himself up we would've saved ourselves a lot of trouble i'm just saying druids.
ok this is so pretty. my thoughts are like 25% me singing show tunes, 25% thinking of actual merlin things, 50% thinking about how pretty everything is
merlin is such a light sleeper. idk why that's important but he wakes up ALL the time
âšgaius is the worst âš
ok colin's eye looked so good in this scene
aLASFLJDFA MERLIN AND HIS SOCKS
stop i literally dress like this
i love his sleep clothes. it's such a vibe
aw merlin saying 'save the dragons is so cute' omg it reminds me of the vsco girls and saving the turtles HAHA
i love how equal merlin and kilgharrah feel here
asjflsjdasjdfl like ik this is the point but i love that merlin's inherited his father gift and he's always going to remember him. not that merlin would forget his father but idek
aw kilgharrah is like 'i beg you' ok now that i think abt it maybe it's slightly manipulative but it's also really not
ok actually i don't know how many time merlin uses this scene but i guess i'm keeping track now. but look how pretty
wow the rising sun đ€Ș
OH HAHA THIS IS WHERE MERLIN CARTWHEELS??
literally merlin just breaks in everywhere
merlin seems so earnest about wanting to see the dragons. i want to see the dragons too please
omg HAHA the woodworm is this episode??
WHY IS MERLIN STILL SEARCHING AFTER ARTHUR TURNS AROUND WHAT?
this is a side note but i love arthur's key holder thingy it's actually pretty.
stop right now why is merlin using his magic to PANTS arthur
ok i'm pretty sure that agravaine is only in this episode this one time, and yk it's the little victories
i'm actually embarassed for arthur and merlin here. i don't like it at all
HOW DOES MERLIN DO THE HANDSTAND?? that's the one part i like
ok my question is how is he supposed to know where the last piece of the triskeleton is??
SECOND QUESTION WHY IS HE JUST STANDING IN THE VAULT WHEN HE SHOULD BE RUNNING
lasflkajsdljsad omg the betrayal. ouch my heart
these scene are just like. it's actually art
ok how did merlin stay there all night and no one saw him?? literally camelot guards need to step up
omg no not merlin zooming
sklfja;lsdkjfasdlfs amerlin and the cup
i love how long merlin and arthur look at each other before arthur reacts
lsjfa;lksdsl woodworm omg and the fact that arthur believes that merlin is this chaotic is so funny
HAHA THIS SCENE GAIUS LITERALLY YELLING AT MERLIN
i think this is the funniest thing because gaius is like 'don't people about your magic' while YELLING ABOUT MERLIN'S MAGIC
ok that's a good point gaius we don't know what borden's intentions are
alsdjfalsd stop why didn't they wait for merlin :,(. this reminds me of when you're in highschool and you're finishing lunch and as you pack up everyone is leaving you??????
ok but i love that merlin rides in front with arthur. like- of course he does
merlin being observant đđ
i want to go horse riding now
STOP I DON'T LIKE THIS
THIS KNIGHT/DINNER GAG IS NOT FUNNY TO ME. NOT IN THE SLIGHTLEST. THERE'S THIS FIC by @a-small-batch-of-dragons. i literally spent like 10 minutes looking for it because i had to include it here
this scene just.. i don't like it. i never have and i never will
like- who decided that putting this scene in here would be good. no thanks
the knights sleeping in a circle and merlin sleeping on the outside. idk bro that made me a little sad
but also. i want a cloak please. i think i'm just going to say i want a cloak every episode
ok i chuckled at the interaction of 'ever herd of the word sorry?' and 'no is it a word you made up?'
dude don't ask why but i love it when people walk through waterfalls
i don't know why arthur looked so stupid when he was doing it though
i love the nature of it all
yes merlin, you start walking toward the castle first
aw i love the knights working together. like, i know they work together- they're knights, but we love to see it
merlin and his sharp eyes again :,))
why are they making camp it's literally not even dark yet đđ
oh great another dinner gag. please stop. i dislike this immensely
wow i love that merlin can heal them. i also think it's surprising because merlin sucks at healing things but yk.. âšplotâš
this looks like the type of building teens would either be convinced is haunted and try to stay the night there or the type of building that all teens would go to to take pics for the #gram
ok is borden dead here or..
yes i'm putting both of these picture here. who's going to stop me
just kidding it's three
ok so not dead
ok this is not meant to be creepy but colin has nice hands
borden is a creep please go away now
merlin use your âšmagic âš please
YES. tell him you're the last dragonlord. i stan. YES HIM AND HIS MAGIC
you better run boy
ok how he manages to get out of the castle is astounding
HAHA there was some CGI that fell and i laughed so hard because it looked so fake
LITERALLY. THE PRETTY CASTLE SCENE IS HERE AGAIN. PRETTY CASTLE SCENE COUNTER; 3
omg merlin getting excited about the egg is actually so precious
both of their faces here are SO precious.
oasfasldfjasl idk why but whenever merlin walks across with the eggs i have this feeling he's going to faceplant and drop it for the comedic effect but i'm glad that never happens
bruh 'back where it belongs' like yes that makes sense but also that doesn't make sense
dude
it's been a full moon for like 4 days now..??????
omg i actually love aithusa
tbh, i DO NOT know how to pronounce her name
why is she actually the cutest thing ever.
AW MERLIN CRYING
i love it when merlin cries, but not in a sadistic way yk? it's more the fact that he's allowed to cry
ok i have a few dragon fics that i love but the only one i can think of right now is Returning the Favor by CaffeinatedFlumadiddle it's actually perfect
there are so many more that i love but i can't think of them but also- PLEASE REC YOUR FAVE DRAGON FAMILY DOMESTIC FICS PLEASE AND THANK YOU
anyways. i'll be back tomorrow to rant more about the darkest hr pt 2 so i'll see you then! also let me know if you want me to stop tagging you @lady-ofmagic-andstars because otherwise i will literally tag you in everything :,)

What Exactly Is That Girl?
So Iâve been thinking that Sari doesnât have any human friends and this happened. I usually think of most TFA/TFP crossovers after a time-skip so I can ship Sari with Miko, but I went with Season 1 this time.
*************
Isaac looked up from his work at his nurse. He wasnât too sure why Sari had hired June Darby, or when sheâd gotten access to Sumdac Systemsâ HR records, but he had to admit that June had been a welcome addition to his health. Even if the Autobotâs rushed explanation about collapsing dimensions flew over his head.
âIâm sorry?â
âIsaac, Iâve been here for less than a week, and even I can tell thereâs something different about Sari,â she pointed out as she handed him his heart medicine, âthat kid can reprogram force fields, do college-level math, and Iâve seen her hop off Optimus Primeâs two story shoulders more than once.â
âAh, well, you see-.â
âNot to mention that when I brought it up, she acted like it was stranger to not take eight meter falls like nothing.â
Isaac sighed and pulled his wallet out of his back pocket. He signed a check and handed it to her with the amount blank.
âThereâs fifty million dollars in that account. Help yourself and forget about this conversation.â
âIsaac, that is not what I was getting at,â she snapped back, looking fairly offended at the suggestion, âI donât think I need to tell you that nothing about that girl is normal, even by twenty-second-century Detroit standards.â
He sighed again, âI cannot tell you what she is-.â
âIsaac-.â
âBecause I do not know what she is.â
â...what?â
He put his tools away.
âOne day she just showed up in my lab,â he admitted, running his hand over his forehead, âa tiny body. Made of liquid metal. In some sort of... egg-like pod.â
âHow-?â
âI donât know,â he cut in, âI donât know anything about her or her origins. I took blood samples to see if they could shine a light on her origins and found nothing of substance. That one sample is the backbone of my companyâs nanotechnology line.â
The younger woman sighed through her nostrils, âIs that why she doesnât go to school?â
âIt would be too obvious that sheâs different,â he affirmed, âher TutorBot is programmed to keep up with her as she develops, and it already has her studying organic chemistry. Iâve clocked her running speed at twenty kilometres per hour. Iâve seen her lift her six-hundred kilogram bed to get at her toys. And yes, Iâve seen her take hits that should cripple a normal, human child.â
He turned back to the circuit heâd been working on, âSheâs too different and too unaware of how sheâs different. If I put her in a normal school with normal children, the cat will be out of the bag within the day.
âSari is my daughter, June Darby,â he stated, locking eyes with the taller woman, âI may know next to nothing about her, but I know that much. And as her father, it is my duty to protect her. Surely you of all people understand that?â
âOf course I do,â she scoffed, crossing her arms, âbut just how much does she know about herself? She doesnât know sheâs... adopted, for lack of a better term. She doesnât know sheâs not human. She doesnât even know Sumdacâs not your real name!â
âHow did you know I changed my name?â
âItâs clearly just Cadmus spelled backwards,â she pointed out with a deadpan, âIâm assuming thereâs a story behind that?â
âLetâs just say my parents and I had a disagreement about my lifestyle and leave it at that,â he quipped before continuing, âeither way, itâs not like I have a choice. One wrong move and this whole thing will become more than even I can cover up.â
âSo youâre telling me there havenât been any incidents over the years?â
âOh of course there have!â he snapped back, âAnd when they happen, I solve them the same way I put three presidents in the oval office, helped finance the Los Bogos Project, raised my bracketâs income tax rate to 95%, got everyone a basic income, and got a $50 minimum wage approved in this and six other countries. I throw money at the problem until it goes away, but even I only have so much money.â
â...Did you say fifty-?â
âOh, donât worry. Your salaryâs well above minimum wage,â he scoffed, ânone of my employees go hungry on my watch. Least I can do for raising the unemployment rate to 45%.â
âI- have so many questions about that, even if youâre clearly trying to throw me off,â she admitted and got a guilty shrug in reply, âWhat happens when you canât cover this up? Or when she inevitably finds out on her own?â
âI plan to tell her the truth well before that,â he waved her off as he pulled his tools back up, âUntil then, Iâd rather she enjoy herself as a normal child.â
âA normal child that doesnât know how to socialize with children her own age,â she pointed out, glad to be back on topic, âjust because she doesnât need school, doesnât mean she doesnât need the school experience. That means knowing how to socialize, how to talk to people, how to set boundaries, how to not chase people off by spitting in the punch.â
âYes, I do suppose she puts on the âbrat actâ to get out of situations a little too often,â he admitted, âbut still brings up the question of what happens next? Sheâs too smart, too strong, and too fast for other kids, She'll hurt someone without even trying.â
âSo let her know her own limits,â she proposed as she wrapped up her own personal items, âYou said it yourself, sheâs a smart kid, a genius even. Walk her through it and sheâll get it.â

Wanna be a Game Character?
And now, who's up for a physical torture??
Inspired from Saitama's 100 days challenge, since this will only be for ' 7 ' weeks only, Im gonna name this workout challenge as "TIFA LOCKHART WORKOUT".
I like Lightning Farron more, but she has a God-like power. While Tifa is an ordinary girl who train her body to be in the same level as the hero. So I use her name for this workout. Besides, I want to have what she has - the agility, power and speed.
I.. Have.. No.. Idea.. My weight .. Has .. Increased.. A lot đđđ no wonder why I feel my body is heavier than usual. I didnt train a muscle during the quarantine and the last time I trained seriously with my coach was in January and then my intern shift interrupted most of my training seasons.
I got scolded by my coach for being weak and unmotivated today đđ and today was be the last time I saw him bfore moving 500km away from my hometown bcause of this intern for 7 weeks. I need to get back to my usual figure before meeting him again.
Disclaimer : I'm not a coach nor someone who has knowledge in nutrition. I once used this method to reduce 8 kg in a very short amount of time for my sparring tournament and it worked (but previously the workout was a lot more intense than this). And my weight maintained for several years, not until my sleeping schedule got crazy from the past 6 months and I have to stay indoors 24hrs and eat midnight snacks almost everyday and 0 hrs of exercise for 3 months straight.
Hah-hah.
â
Tifa Lockhart Workoutâ
Tifa has light build, superb strength, slim but fit figure, high agility and speed. She has abs but not the 6 pack type and her female appeal still maintained. A body where lots of women admire. While genetic does play a huge role in a person's body, but I believe Tifa does not have restricted diet but still train herself intensely. This workout should be light and easy to follow (well at least for me it is easy).
So, overall, the main objective is to regain power and speed. Which I assume I can achieve this by loosing weight and increase muscle endurance through out the 7 weeks self train. I will focus more on full body workout which involves cardio and strength exercises. [Pls note that I hate dumbbells and dislike gym. I like cardio and love pushups and plank]. So, this workout is really simple but effective (for me) and may torture ur mental a bit. It doesnt need equipment (but u need a jump rope)
â
Ready to go? Lets check the schedule first
F - Fasting | INT F - Intermittent Fasting
I will give myself 2 days rest to allow my body to heal. I have extra time doing the weekends, so I will push myself to do more workout. Doing the selected days, I will try to spend at least 2 hrs for weekdays and weekends at least 3 hrs.
â
Move on to the diet
I'm not a foodie person. So I can survive a day without eating heavy meal while still being active. I choose Mon and Thu to fast, and Tue, Wed, Sat for intermittent fasting. Fri and Sun are my super đ» cheat days. And dont forget to drink ur water 3L/day. I like to add a few slices of lemon in to my plain water for no proper reason. I just like to watch the lemon floating inside my bottle đ
Rice is our main dish and we often have it during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rice is a form of high carbs, so Im gonna cut it completely from my diet, along with bar chocolates, sweet drinks, candies while still eating breads and cookies, less intake of salty snack and more in protein and fruits. And the rest, Im gonna eat it like usual but in smaller portion- noodle, kuey teow, oden, mee, oatmeal, etc.. Will be away from home for 7 weeks though, I'm a cheapstake to myself so I dont really spend money on food đ
And i dont take any extra supplement. I hate drugs..
â
And here's what the activity will look like
Dont forget to do warm up! We usually rope jump for half an hour before stretching.
Since my only problem is my weight increased and I feel my muscle endurance reduced, I will immediately start at Level 3, then jump to Level 5 and then to Level 10. Im not an expert though, I just like to push myself to my limit and see how far I can still proceed.
If ure new to any type of exercise, pls try to do this activity level by level. Increase ur level every 2 weeks. Eg - Level 1 rpt 10x push up, 10 mins rope jumping, 1km jogging for the first 2 weeks | Level 2 rpt 20x push up, 20 mins rope jumping, 2km joggin for the next 2 weeks | Level 3 - and so on. Make sure to have 5-3mins rest before doing the next activity.
Agility workout aint fun without a partner, for me, at least. But, yeah, none of my female intern friends like sweat đ so I have to train agility.all.by.my.self. (or probably will skip it and change to strength workout) Hmmm
Friendly reminder : Do it slowly but constantly. If u cant finish the 10x burpees, u can rest 2-3 mins every 5x. No need to push ur self too hard. Unless if ure stubborn like me, then have it ur way. Do this at ur own risk.
As a summary to this challenge ;
Right now, I am 166cm tall and 56kg. Perfect BMI u may say, but I feel heavy, unlike when I was only 54-52kg. Besides, I'm in class B sparring tournament. Cant let my weight be more than 54kg and less than 50
â Mission : Reduce weight - From 56kg to 51kg
â Objective : Regain strength, speed and muscle endurance
â Workout focuses : Full body workout - Cardio + Strength
â Time limitation : 7 Weeks
Keep in mind that this is not about trying to be like Tifa Lockhart, but instead, u may have abs and lean muscle like her through this workout (depends on ur genetic, routine and diet). If u want to reduce weight and bcome light like how I want it to be, then this simple exercise is for u.
Alright, that's it. Feel free to join my 7 weeks challenge ! If u participate in this challenge, do tell me ur result and ur experience. I'm eager to listen to ur story đđ
I will be in hiatus for 7 weeks straight. Was told the internet line at the village clinic is horrible. So, will come back on 23rd August. See ya guy later ! đ€
#final fantasy vii#tifa lockhart#workout session#this tumblr blog is my diary#so allow me to nag nag nag here#nag nag nag#challenge#7 weeks without internet connection#i'm not chadley#chadley is the rich intern#intern didnt get paid like chadley#intern but i'm a broke one#my body feels so heavy#and i hate it#đđđ#gym? what is that?#i'm gonna pin this post here and see if I can complete this challenge after 7 weeks#see ya guys later#game characters influenced me a lot#but in a good way#at least I have some motivation to do the workout on my own#amytraining#not an expert#lets become a game character#good for cosplay#martial arts

Secret Santa || CEO AU (S)
Jinyoung x reader
Word count: 2.k+
Merry Christmas everyone!
Work to home, work to home, this was your daily journey. You were a stockbroker for a major company, Park Enterprises. You were accepted straight out of university and you've been there for 5 years, and it paid off. You were near the top of the food chain, with your own employees.
Another Christmas had come. The gentle flickering of the Christmas lights on the one way glass of your office wall slightly illuminated your office.
"Merry Christmas" one of the interns knocked on the door
"Yes?" she held a bowl in her hand, every year your company held a secret Santa party, you hated it
The intern held out the bowl for you and you shuffled it around and pulled out a paper, you gave her a small smile as she left, closing the door behind her.
You shoved the paper in your bag and kept on working. You had financial reports to evaluate before next week. You pinched the bridge of your nose, the marketing team left on hell of a mess for you to clean up. You leaned back in your chair with a sigh.
It was almost 10 PM. You closed your laptop and picked up your handbag. You closed your office door, as you turned around you bumped into someone
"I'm so sorry" you gripped onto your bag to prevent the contents from spilling but a piece of paper fell out
Park Jinyoung
"That's ok miss" your eyes met his, you could feel your blood run hotter. The man in front of you was gorgeous
"Y/L/N, Y/F/N" he nodded his head before turning his back. Your eyes darted to the paper on the floor.
"What's your name?" You could her his footsteps pause for a moment
"Park Jinyoung" you picked up the paper and briskly left the 23rd floor. You got into your car and rested your head back on the seat.
Who the hell was this man? And why did you want him to take you on your desk?
You flung your bag on the passenger seat and drove home. You got into your apartment, flung you heels on the side and locked the door behind you.
You pulled off your jacket roughly and threw it on the couch, you dropped yourself onto the couch and took out your phone.
Park Jinyoung
You typed the man's name into Google. Your eyes scanned the search results.
Park Jinyoung
Park Jinyoung the heir to Park Enterprises recently took the position of CEO while his father kept the position of Chairman
You froze, when the hell did that happen? You rarely take vacation but you were on the hospital for a little while after getting your appendix removed.
You grabbed your laptop from the counter and went back to the couch. You still had unopened email, you grazed over them and one caught your attention, it was marked as urgent
NEW CEO
From the Chairman
Your groaned, you recieved this mail the day you went into surgery. How could you have missed this?
You froze, you were his secret Santa?
"You're got to be fucking kidding me. What the hell do I get a spoilt rich kid?" You placed your laptop down on the ground and laid down on the couch, there's no way you're figuring this out at 1AM.
You closed your eyes and slowly drifted off into sleep. The loud beeping of your phone jolted you awake.
You rolled off of the couch into the floor. You searched around for you phone and found it under the coffee table. You hit the snooze button grumbling to yourself
"I need coffee"
You strolled up to your office, the clicking of your heels were the only sound filling the air. It was 7:25, you got up at 5 and was always on time. You dropped your bag onto your desk and sat down, what were you going to get this man? When was this secret Santa party anyway?
You searched him up once more and tried to find something that could help you out and there it was right in front of you.
"Good morning" you slammed your laptop shut. Jinyoung leaned against the all, he wore a navy blue suit that accentuated his physique.
"G-Good Morning Mr. Park" he brought his cup of coffee to his lips and strolled into your office
He sat down in front of you and analyzed your office. You took out of cell phone to quickly place and order before getting back to him.
"So the secret Santa party is to tonight" you paused
"What? I thought I had time" he smirked
"Christmas is tomorrow, we work for half of the day and come back for the party at 7. I thought you would be the one in forming me about this" he leaned back in the chair
"Tell, what your position here" you furrowed your brows
"Head stockbroker"
"How long have you worked her for?"
"5 years" he nodded his head
"How would you feel if you ran marketing as well?" You frowned
"What about Anna?" He sighed
"That's not what I asked you"
"I'd take the job" he nodded
"Good. In the new year we'll talk more about it" he got up and left
"Holy shit, did I just get promoted? Wait!" You shot up from your chair and followed him
"Can I leave an hour earlier?" You stared at his eyes, you'd always known that you should keep eye contact but damn did you want to look about, his eyes felt like they were piercing you
"Go for it" you sighed in relief
When you we got home you were dead tired, 7 bags in hand as well as a cold brew. You got home at 4:45, you just wanted to sleep but you had no time. You needed to get ready and wrap the gift you got.
Somehow you were able to get to the office with 30 minutes to spare. The party was usually held on the top floor, this was where all gatherings were held.
You looked around the room a few people were there already, you greeted as many people as you could before you were approached by one man whom you'd been avoiding. One of the guys from HR was trying to take you out on a date and your weren't having.
"So to save time this year we're giving each other gifts through out the part not all at once" you nodded with a plastered smile in your face
"Here" he held out a small gift bag for you.
You cursed under your breath and took the bag, there were two tickets to a football game.
"Thanks" your eyes darted across the room to look for Jinyoung
"I was hoping we could go together" your eyes went back to him
"Y/N" you sighed
"Mr. Parks I was looking for you" you held his elbow softly pleading for him to help you
"Why don't we go to my office to discuss what we were talking a out earlier" you smiled and went with him without a word
You'd hardly ever been in the boss's office and it looked like it had been renovated the last time you were there.
"An admirer?" You scoffed as he sat on the edge of his desk
"I wish he wasn't" he chuckled
"Not your type" you made a gagging noise causing him to laugh again
"Who's the gift for?" He threw your head back in frustration
"Well it's for you" he frowned
"I didn't know I was involved" he took the bag from your hand
"I had no idea what to get you so I did some research and I saw that you had now watch on your hand. I called up an old friend and I was able to get you a vintage watch, it supposed to be worth a lot but I also got you a 50 year old wine-" he stood up and placed his hand on your mouth
"You're cute when you ramble on" your eyes widened
"It's an amazing gift, but you didn't need to spend so much" he took his hand off of your mouth
"You pay me pretty well" you shuffled from one foot to another and bit your lip
"How about we break open this wine? I have some bourbon for an extra pick me up"
You both were sat on the floor of his office, the door was locked, the bottle of wine had been discarded since you two finished it and you both were almost done with the bottle of bourbon.
You rested your head on his shoulder and giggle away at the stories he told from his years in university.
"You have really pretty eyes" he paused to look at you
"I love your lips" he ran a finger against your lips
There was not a word spoken between you two. You snaked his sem around your waist, pulled you onto his lap and pressed his lips against your neck.
His lips tailed up your neck to your jaw, he bit his lip before kissing you roughly. You he pushed your gently down onto the carpeted floor and climbed onto of you, his lips meting yours once again.
"What a hell of a Christmas" you chuckled
"What do should we go now?" He smiled mischievously
"Maybe I should give you a christmas present" his hands ran up and down your thighs. His fingers hooked onto your underwear and pulled them down.
He got off of you and nestled between your legs, his lips grazed over your inner thigh before meeting your pussy.
You arched your back at the feeling of his tongue. You gripped the carpet as soft means passed your lips
"Be as loud as you want princess, I'm sure everyone has already left" your breath caught in your throat as he begun to finger you
You shivered as he suddenly stopped, the sound of his belt buckle. You got onto your elbows and grabbed his shirt pulling him towards you, you pressed your lips against him and unbuttoned his shirt.
You groaned at the feeling of his solid chest. He wrapped your leggs around his waist. Your nails dug into his back as he stretched your walls.
Your back.met the carpet once again as his thrust became rougher. He tugged on your hair, pulling your head back, his mouth latched onto your neck.
It had been years since you'd let a man touch you. Your body was running on overdrive, you never wanted this to stop, his touch was addictive or maybe that was just the alcohol taking either way this was the best Christmas you've had in a long time.
You threw your arms around his torso and pulled him closer, you needed him closer. The sudden rush of cold air from the A/C made you shiver.
Your hand found his, your fingers were intertwined and he rested his forehead on yours. Your breathing quickened and you closed your eyes.
"Look at me" he growled
You opened your eyes, your chest rose and fell rapidly as you came, he groaned as your walls squeezed his cock.
His thrust slowed and pulled out. You leaned up, kissed him greedily and wrapped your hand around his cock; you pumped your hand quickly.
You felt warm liquid decorate your stomach. You let go of him and he dropped himself onto the floor and so did you.
You closed your eyes, you just had amazing drunk sex with your boss, what the fuck was your life?
You felt something soft touch your stomach, he was cleaning you up. You stared at him blankly, he dropped the tissue on his desk and laid next to you. You rolled over and rested your torso on his.You pressed your lips to his softly.
"So mister Park where do we go from here?" He shook his head with a smile
"Sober huh?" You giggled
"Very"
"I kind of like this" you rolled your eyes
"Kind of?" he laughed
"Maybe a lot. We can see where this goes but right now it doesnât matter" he kissed your forehead
"Merry Christmas princess"

The inspiration you need to wake up for your weekend morning workout
I like working out as high as the next wellness-obsessed individual, however I also actually, really like rest (I require at the very least eight hrs of shut-eye a night or no amount of coffee will certainly treat my grumpiness). So if I'm mosting likely to desert the convenience of my bed for an a.m. workout on a Saturday, it much better be an excellent one.
When I got the welcome to try out the Samsung 837 Run Club, I was uncertain, however interested. It promised major motivational feelings over a three-mile training course along New york city City's Hudson River, plus post-run snacks as well as the opportunity to examine out the new Samsung Equipment Fit2.
But would certainly it be worth the very early morning wake-up telephone call and the trek midtown from my Midtown East apartment? I chose to try it and discover out.
Additional please note: Interior cycling as well as HIIT exercises are my jam. Running, not a lot. Like the excellent workout friend I am, I just recently agreed to sustain my flatmate in her race training by running with her once a week, so the Run Club appeared like the best fit for us.
Bright and early on a cloudy Saturday early morning, we headed to the meet-up point at Samsung 837 in the Meatpacking Area. I was still a bit nervous regarding what I was getting myself into, yet figured my brand-new running footwear as well as I might take care of simply 3 miles.
Scroll down for my Run Club takeaways-- and discover whether it deserved waking up for.
They weren't joking regarding the motivational vibes
Turns out, I selected the weekend the training course changed from the normal 3 miles to 4.6. The Run Club still supplied the alternative of a three-mile course along the brand-new route.
Three trains led the approximately 50-person group at three different paces, so you 'd have somebody to run with no issue your experience degree. On top of their speed lodgings, you can inform the instructors were actually passionate and happy to be there, and also they in fact made an initiative to be familiar with me (no simple feat while in motion).
My roommate and I fell someplace in between the group squashing eight-minute miles as well as the team maintaining a consistent 9:30 pace-- yet trailing the leaders offered us something to pursue, while feeling the encouragement from the group behind us pushed us to keep going.
The Equipment Fit2 was an incredible running companion
True life: I never saw the charm of health and fitness trackers, since I have actually never been a runner and I'm not truly thinking about tracking the amount of steps I take. Yet the Gear Fit2 made me reconsider.
The layout was sleek, not cumbersome, as well as it was light enough that I barely saw it on my wrist throughout the run. With a quick glimpse down, I might see my time, heart price, and also the progression bar to my goal. It also hummed every mile, which was a wonderful pointer of my development while removing the temptation to examine it every 5 seconds.
Despite my previous hesitation of fitness trackers, after trying the Gear Fit2 I was most definitely attracted to snag one-- specifically if I'm going to be doing this running point extra often.
The run was a terrific way to see the city
I've stayed in New york city for 2 years now, but still regularly stumble upon places I have actually never seen before (I blame investing so much time on the subway). Going through SoHo and also Greenwich Town was an outstanding method to visit the city over ground. And also, obviously it's a great way to serendipitously see buddies from university-- I (virtually literally) faced two.
The Samsung 837 headquarters was worth checking out
At completion of the run, all of us met back up at Samsung 837, where we were offered drawing tickets to win lululemon goodies as well as coupons for the 837 coffee shop (and I had not been even putting on a 'Will compete coffee as well as free lulu' tee shirt).
Ultimately, I didn't score the raffle reward, however 3 fortunate joggers did leave with coupons for storage tanks they could pick at the lululemon keep around the bend. The rest people were free to discover the 837 space, that includes an immersive virtual-reality passage, interactive artwork, and also certainly, chances to check out all the most up to date Samsung gadgets.
My general evaluation? One hundred percent worth getting up for. My roommate and I wound up running a total of 4.1 miles, which is better than I offered myself credit scores for initially. I think I underestimated myself and my new running shoes.
In partnership with Samsung

In conversation with Dave Sturt ...
GONG
In September of 2016, âGONGâ released their new album âRejoice! Iâm Deadâ Some say it couldnât, or shouldnât have, be done. How could Gong exist without Daevid Allen?Â
For those who are unaware Daevid passed away in March 2015. âGONGâ has had many, many line-ups - Formed when Australian beatnik/freak Daevid Allen quit âThe Soft Machineâ and moved to France at the tail end of the â60s. Since debuting in 1970 with âMagick Brotherâ, the band have remained fluid, even playing without their founder from the mid-to-late â70s; fracturing and reassembling and constantly taking on new shapes and forms: an undeniably amorphous unit. David Bowie told Vanity Fayre in 2003 that Daevid Allenâs âBanana Moonâ is one of his favourite albums, and today everyone from indie artists Temples and Ty Segall to hip hop artist Madlib and techno DJ Surgeon are inspired, and borrow, from âGongâsâ music and ideology. The funky grooves, avant-garde flourishes and counter-cultural stance is timeless. So timeless that âGongâ is proving that it can fully exist, even without their creator and guiding light.  âRejoice! I'm Dead! came together over several weeks in an East London rehearsal studio. It depends on your knowledge of âGongâ history and what you may feel constitutes as a Gong record, but âRejoice! I'm Dead!â is classified as their 28th album and it would appear that the âGongâ legacy is the strongest it has been since 1974 . In the words of bassist Dave Sturt: âYou bet it's a fucking Gong record!â The current line-up features  Kavus Torabi (vocals/guitar), Fabio Golfetti (guitar/vocals), Dave Sturt (bass/vocals), Ian East (sax/flute) and Cheb Nettles (drums/vocals) - and unanimously they have taken on the mantle of âsteering the Teapot further into outer space and the inner earâ ... Helen Robinson caught up with Dave Sturt recently, to find out more ...
HR :  âGONGâ has had a total of 52 official members in its 50 year history ; 47 past and 5 current.âšWhat is it about âGongâsâ music which compels musicians to continue to hold the band together in some shape or form?
Dave Sturt : An interesting question..... The Gong family is really unlike anything else. It's so much more than the 5 or 6 musicians on the stage. It's a worldwide collective of freaks, mystics or those who just don't quite fit in to the mainstream .... those who are searching for a different way to be. It's an ongoing adventure- may it never stop.Â
HR :   When you first joined in 2009 you were the new guy! Did you jel straight away? Had you been a fan prior to joining?Â
DS : I knew of Gong back in the 70s but it wasn't until the 80s when I began to really appreciate what they had created. I had latched on to the Steve Hillage Band first - I really loved âFish Risingâ. So it was a real honour to audition for the band with Steve and Miquette. I felt comfortable right from the start. My personal journey melded with Gong's at just the right time â I had experience of many kinds of music but needed a focus. Gong wanted a creative bass player with something to offer . . . kismet!
HR :   At the time - alongside Daevid Allen - the line-up consisted of original member Gilli Smith who had returned to sing vocals, with two of the 1970âs staple members Miquette Giraudy, and Steve Hillage - what was it like having them all reunited in the same creative space?
DS : It was a privilege but, initially daunting. I had briefly worked with Daevid a few years before but to have them all in the same rehearsal room was something else.Â
I began to get to know them properly in the tour bus around Europe - promoting the 2032 album. Â They were all incredibly bright, free thinkers- truly inspiring.Â
HR :   2012 saw another big shift in the bandâs line-up -  you stayed ; was that by choice, or at the request of Daevid?  Who decided on who was going to fill the positions?âšâš
DS : Well I was very keen to continue with the band but it was Daevid who chose the line up that best suited his vision of where he wanted âGongâ to go. On tour he spoke many times of his wish for Gong to continue without him and he chose pretty well.
HR :   Have the rotations of band members been essential to keep it fresh for the main body of songwriters ; for something ânewâ to be brought to the table?  Or was it simply a tough band to exist in?
DS : Daevid never wanted to play safe. He always wanted to be surrounded by creative people so I guess that was the driving force. Â Since Ian east and I have been involved the biggest change was when Steve and Miquette left to re focus on System 7. Â Daevid was keen on making the band more guitar focused so Fabio was invited to join - and then later Kavus got the call.Â
HR :   Youâve been with the band for the longest, out of the new line-up - do you feel that you have the chemistry right this time, to move forward as a unit and stay together?
DS : Absolutely - no question. This band is a perfect mixture of passion, skill and creativity. The gigs are a blast from start to finish â and we also have a great crew including the Fruit Salad lightshow and projections.
It feels slightly odd â being the longest standing member! It has been a bizarre eight years.
HR :   Following Daevidâs passing in 2015, and Gilliâs in 2016 - did you all consider calling it a day, or is it always going to be imperative to keep their spirits alive through the music?
DS : It was Daevid's wish that the band should continue. We were keen to carry on but unsure that it would work without him. We had gigs booked to promote the I See You album but Daevid was too ill to join us from Australia so Kavus took centre stage and we were astonished by the response. Also, previous members of Gong were very supportive.
Gilli's last tour with the band was in 2012 â and her health was failing then. She had to miss some of the concerts because of a broken foot. Our last gigs with her were in Japan and she spent the last few years of her life in a care home where she held court and entertained guests up until the end.
HR :   Cue studio album #28 - âRejoice! Iâm Deadâ. âšIt features Steve Hillage, Didier Malherbe, and Graham Clark, along with some post-humous vocals from Daevid. âšDid you feel that you needed to include these in order to transition the band from what was always essentially Daevidâs project, to a new stage in itâs development?
DS : That was partly the reason, but it felt completely in keeping with the the direction of the album. I was particularly keen to include the track Beatrix. It was such a lovely moment that I'd captured on my hand held recorder. We were in an apartment in Brazil - Daevid was listening on headphones to a jazzy musical idea of mine - and he began to improvise a poem about a very special woman in his life. It was so sweet and poignant.Â
The album is obviously a reflection on Daevid and life and death so it's seemed completely right to have his presence in there . . . . it really felt as though he was in the studio with us as we composed and arranged the tracks
HR :   The album is receiving some rave reviews, and doesnât seem to have disappointed the loyal following - were you nervous prior to itâs release, or confident that what you had produced was going to hit the proverbial nail?
DS : We were supremely confident that we had created something really special. The process of composing and recording was a joy. We just followed our own inner voice â without any pre-conceived direction - everyone contributed with ideas that we then arranged, juxtaposed and honed into a beautiful shiny thing.
HR :   With the current line-up being a relatively new group when it comes to working together as âGongâ (not essentially new to each other), how difficult was it to write new material in the vein of some 50 years of compositions, which for the first time were not under the creative influence of Daevid, Gilly, or other alumni?
DS : We are all composers as well as players â and four of us wrote or co-wrote most of the tracks on the previous album I See You so we had no problem in continuing the process. The main key difference was the lyrics. We had no intention of pretending to write like Daevid or Gilli â that would have been completely bogus. Instead Kavus developed the main lyrical ideas throughout the time that the tracks came together â and a truly fine job he did! I wrote the lyrics for the track Model Village â the first time that I'd attempted such a thing.
HR :   For anyone who may be unaware of Gong, and their impressive back-catalog - could you describe the new album in a nutshell, and give virgin listeners an idea of what they can expect?
DS : The title â Rejoice! I'm Dead! - is a line from a poem of Daevid Allen's â 'All I Ask'. It completely summed up Daevid's attitude to death and it informed the concept of the album. That transition into the great unknown â something we all will face at some time. So â should we face it with fear and trepidation or embrace it as part of life's great journey? No one gets out alive so let's enjoy life, live it to the full and don't waste it by worrying about something that you can't avoid. So, the album is euphoric, inspirational and slightly ironic, with the occasional social comment. Musically it is, in turns, powerful; beautiful; intricate; and mystical.
I think I've finally achieved my aim of playing on, what may well be recognised eventually as, a classic album.
HR :   And down the line ... The band claim they you will continue to âfly the teapot further into outer space, and the inner ear! ⚠Is it likely that any past members will be invited back to the fold for future projects?
DS : It's said that once you've been a member of Gong you never leave - so the door is always open. It's a very friendly, co-operative family â so everything is possible.
HR :   Outside the Gong realm, your solo album âDreams and Absurditiesâ was released in 2015. Given all your other commitments, how long was it in the making?Â
DS : Dreams & Absurdities came together slowly. It would have happened sooner if I hadn't been so busy over the last 10 years. I have a classic bass player mentality â I'm very supportive and unassuming and I give my all to whichever project I'm working on â which has meant that my solo album never became a priority, until, for some reason, everything fell into place.
HR :   Itâs a  purely instrumental  record  - a departure perhaps from the music that people are used to hearing you play. Does it reflect your personal musical comfort zone?
DS : Well, some people will be very used to me working on instrumental albums. I recorded two with Jade Warrior and three with Cipher (my duo with Theo Travis). I find great beauty in instrumental music â especially when it evokes emotions of longing and soundscapes of imagined worlds.
HR :   The album features  a number of impressive guests - notably your  Gong colleagues, and Bill Nelson.   âšBill describes you as âan artist of the highest calibreâ - coming from him thatâs quite a recommendation isnât it?!
DS : I am still truly astonished that I have been able to work with such great musicians â and to be held in such high regard by them is overwhelming. I've played with Bill for over 10 years now and it's been a joy. I was a big fan of Be Bop Deluxe and Red Noise and I've had the honour to play material from both bands with the man himself.
HR :  Youâve worked with a number of high profile musicians during your career - what was the most challenging project t o be part of?  And if you could collaborate with anyone at all - who would it be?
DS : The most challenging was probably a session early in my career when I was hired to play on an album by a Canadian band called Strange Advance. Also playing on the album were drummer Andy Newmark (John Lennon, Pink Floyd, Roxy Music) and Earl Slick (David Bowie). It was produced by the great composer and arranger Michael Kamen. It was a huge learning curve for me. It was a great experience but I felt that I was hanging on by my fingertips! In the end, things didn't go well with the producer/artist relationship â and the album was re-recorded in Canada with different musicians.
Who would I like to collaborate with? That could be a very long list! Peter Gabriel, Harold Budd, Jan Garbarek, Andy Partridge, Kate Bush, Steve Jansen, Bill Frisell, David Torn, Michael Brook, Zakir Hussein, . . . I could go on . . .

Roswell New Mexico - Live Rewatch - Ep 1 - Pilot
So I donât really have much in the way of original content on my blog. So I decided it might be fun to post the live blog Iâve been doing on discord of the rewatch our server is doing for Roswell, New Mexico over the hiatus period.Â
Iâve only posted my comments, so there might be a couple of bits that look out of place. These are my responses to other peopleâs comments. Iâm up to episode 6, so I will post the backlog and then do one a week until the re-watch is complete.
Be warned, there is swearing.Â
--------------------------------
Sorry, cat decided it wanted a cuddle
I love the glass effect, it's so cool
You may not plan to see the small people again, Liz but we know it's gonna happen!!
Not gonna lie, I love poltics in my TV
You quote that verdict to him, Liz!!
That vent tells us so much about Liz in such a short period of time.
You're finally back says Max.Because he's been waiting for that to happen the whole time.
Excuse me Sheriff, with that good girl comment. Rude!
Arturo, playing along with Liz's mpreg story.
Fuck, I just realised - mpreg is canon!?!
Rosa!!
I want antenna headband
Cream on a milkshake is wrong.
So many people in this show have pretty eyes!!
Nooo.
Damn that's alot of lights to replace
I love that damn bullet hole in Liz's dress. It was the first indication they weren't gonna make everyone dumb as a bag of rocks and drag the storyline out FOR EVER.
Hoverboarding. Iz!!
Hey there Kyle!
Annnd here it comes, I'm in love.
That smug fucking grin. The song.
That look when he's trying to get the keys. That look would make you do just about anything.
That Michael monologue. It just gets better everytime I watch it.
Without a doubt, top 3 best character intros ever.
And we're only 15 mins in! I need to make less comments
I didn't think anyone was reading!!
"Untie some loose ends" - you go Iz
Oh Max you fucker. Telling Michael he wouldn't do anything for anyone else. Excuse fucking you.
Ok, blasting Max across the room is kinda hot. But then his guilty face! :sob:
And god, that little shoulder touch on Iz one the way out.
Another example of non-verbal storytelling. In one scene we get the fractured relationship between Max and Michael, we get that Iz and Michael are close and that both boys defer/protect Iz. So much with so little. It also sets up the physicality of the broken relationship between Max and Michael.
Others have commented on how Max is physically intimidating with people, and literally pushes Michael around, but to be fair, Michael is pretty much the same with Max (but never really with anyone else that we see on screen though we hear about it.
And then in a few lines, Iz gives us a lifetime of fears and concerns - dissection, prison, lying and hiding to loved ones - the rest of the season in seconds of dialogue
Ah, the ONLY thing that gives me Max feels is how dismissive both Iz and Michael are of Max's feelings about Liz. Especially annoying consider Michael should really fucking know better.
Yeah, because he's been pining for Alex just as long.
Unrequited love hurts just as much. Kiss or no kiss.
That's my take anyway.
Here it comes...
Typing may get bad. Cat is sitting on chest and I can't see keyboard.
Seriously, there is nothing overtly relationshippy or sexual, no pointed stares, but just how soft Michael is, even as he's making the real Manes man comment, you just know these two have a past, and that past was probably intimate.
The casual sex comment though, oh yeah they've fucked. That is such a fuck you comment to an ex.
And again with massive story in few words - Alex knocking his leg. "3/4 of one"
That run and tell Daddy line. The nastiest thing Michael says in the entire season, although we don't know that yet. And it strikes such a dissonant tone, even though we don't know why. I'm gonna put it down to things changing so much between shooting the pilot and the rest of the season.
Just my humble opinion but the shirt changing scene could've lasted longer. Just sayin'
Maths, lots and lots of maths
I love the glass SFX
Rosa!! "All our lives that kids been making eyes at you"
Oh Liz, such a good sister. Fixing up the memorial. And the braclets
Ah, sneaky Liz appears
Oh yeah can he keep a secret
Liz begging Max to tell her she isn't loosing her mind. Fuuuck.
Not cool Michael. Great control, but not cool.
Racist Hank, you douche bag
And Maria introduced as taking no shit from ANYONE.
Iz and her slideshow. I love that line.
Why is Iz so vehement that Michael would be so upset about telling Liz?
Max loosing it and Iz looking quite surprised. Forshadowing
yes, Iz no like about it. He is in love with her.
Ah Iz, Iz, Iz. "Too many secrets, things she can't ever know" you don't know the half of it.
Fall in love with someone else. Â - If I could have, I would have. Fuck, Max, I feel you on that one.
Jesus, how do all these guys make dark flannel look so hot?
Dance it out. i don't dance in this town anymore, Kyle...
Hot take, I know everyone is mad for Trevino's cheekbones, but honestly, they aren't my thing. But his eyes, gods, his eyes. He has the best eyes on the show. God that make me sound like a freak.
"whatever" with that tiny, tiny almost invisible smirk. Yeah, you think you're all that
He manages that whole distraction use me, use me speech without coming off as a total wanker. And that is pretty amazing.
The station promo/ad on my cable channel has a bit for Roswell - tag line: "Beam me up hotties." Too right.
Scientist Liz!!
Needs answers now.
Fuck you Jesse Manes
I hate you already.
No Kyle, don't do it. But thank fuck he doesn't just start talking,
Yeah, nah Max. That's not how it works. It's not ok if people are nice to you but shitty to everyone else.
Why should Michael like the world? it's been pretty shitty to him!?!
Liz with the serial killer joke, just with the wrong person!!
The pods are sorta cool.
They could've been so chessy.
Now we know why the three of them are so close. And just about the only real bit of exposition on the show.
But will you Liz? Will you keep the promise?
Secret Bunker No 1
"This matters to you, so I'm here".
Do what Michael, what could you possibly mean?
"Just like you did 10 yrs ago".......
What are you max? Just a guy from Roswell
In Max's favour, when he says he stayed in Roswell, and didn't follow Liz because of Iz and Michael, he doesn't sound resentful, which is sort of what you'd expect here. I like that. And Max going to the reunion for Iz. And Liz tagging along even though she's expecting a bad reception.
"i don't save people all the time. I never save people" But you saved Liz, And why is that Max?
OT re Trevino's eyes. It was that gif set of him laying on his stomach  on his bed (?) with his doggo, looking up to the camera. That angle, OMG, his eyes....
And no verbal confirmation, just Liz realising exactly what Max said - that even though he's in a job where he'd be in contact with sick/dying people alot, he's never saved anyone before. Omph
Of course you remember the very first time you met, Max.
Little kid Max is sooo cute.
Ah you big sap, Max.
No kissing. An "Echo" of what he feels for Liz.
Nice choice of words there writers.
We see what you did there.
So far it's taken me 2 hrs to watch 50 mins
Fuck you again Jesse Manes
Swoon Kyle's eyes.
And we have Kyle's first exposure to the fact that the govt knows about aliens and did medical type stuff to them. Â Does this hover in the back of his mind from now on? is this the reason for the quick reaction to his fathers actions at Caufield.?
No he's fucking not cooking meth. Seriously, Alex, what the fuck?
Sorry Alex, not cool, not cool AT all.
I want to see the outakes of Tyler saying phenyl-2-propanone
Because I'm a bitch like that
Yeah, that so serious up close and personal for straight people....
And there is Alex's nastiest line - You're wasting your life. Gods, that is such a shit thing to say to Michael.
And re outtakes because Tyler would laugh and do that thing where he covers his mouth as he trys to stop himself giggling. That's soooo cute.
But anyway, back to the show...
Oh, he wants to hold something, Michael but it's not your hand...
Macho cowboy swagger.
Did it get old for you.
No it did not get fucking old for him. At all.
Michael walking away with arm around girl. Noting for those who say they didn't realise Michael was bi after watching the pilot. How?
How could you miss it?
You go Maria - dying alone of syphillis to bitch
Maybe Liz does still dance in Roswell!! She just needs a good reason.
And that song begins.
"You can't hide from who you are". Alex's prothesis as he looks at himeself skating in the slide show. Fucking killing us.
And it only gets worse-
I don't thnk that's an unpopular opinon at all. That's totally where I see his headspace. But that does result in him saying some nasty shit to Michael. And it's because we know it's not true that it hurts so much.
Fair warning it may take me half an hour to get through the next 2 mins of show!!
Long shot - "Nostalgia's a bitch"
Fuck, the way Michael looks at Alex as he's leaning against the door. People have started wars to have someone look at them like that. That's Greek epic shit right there.
Then cut shot to Max and Iz looking at Liz.
Alex expecting Michael to be gone from Roswell.
"Is that what you want" as Michael takes a step closer. Not "wanted", but "want".
"What I want doesn't matter" as they both slowly sway towards each other. Bullshit, Alex. What you want is ALL that matters. Fuck everything else.
Michael's eyes flicking up to Alex's face....
And Michael launches himself at Alex like a dying man.
God, how do you even describe that kiss?? Everything about it is just.......
But it's more than just the fire. Its the tenderness of Michael gently craddling Alexs' head even though the kiss is passionate and desperate.
Battery break
And then, back to reality - Iz knows that Max has told Liz.
And then Jess Fucking Manes (I fututus et mori in ignie cunne) (don't look that up it's very bad swearing) talking about being monsters who despise compassion and love. Projecting much.
"Thrive on our tragedy". Die MF Die
Despise Love over a visual of Michael and Alex. Die some more you MF
But you haven't told Liz everything have you Max. There's still some stuff you're hiding.
"When the truth hunts you down"
Yeah, that truth is going to hunt you down and fuck you up Max
My house just wobbled.
No, there isn't a secret that is safe.
And people will be caught in the crossfire - have already.
"What's lost will be found, when the truth hunts you down."
Well doesn't that one line sum up a ton of shit that goes down in the rest of the season.
And fin
3 hrs
That was not what I planned.

Chapter 12 - Come Sunday
âI donât like that melody,â I shook my head, looking over to Julian and another writer, Jamie, as we sat in one of the writing rooms at the label. The walls were a light beige, we were hidden away inside the big building--no windows showing the sky to help us keep track of time.
Weâd been working on songs for three days straight--trying to find the right demo for this band that Julian was really trying to launch.
Jamie let out a sigh, it was the fourth melody Iâd shot down in the last ten minutes. I strummed the same chord, looking over the words weâd scribbled on paper in front of us.
You said apologies donât work
But I know itâs not just words that hurt
âWhat if we sped it up?â I asked, changing the strumming pattern to be a bit more upbeat. âI donât know, something like this?â
Julian let his head bob from side to side, listening to me hum the words over the new tempo. âThatâs not bad,â he said. âWe could do a more descending melody over that.â
âThatâll be hard to synchronize all of the words over the chords,â Jamie pointed out, rubbing a hand over the stubble on his chin.
He was right--and in fact, Iâd been too much of a stickler about every single suggestion that had been tossed into the room. All I knew was that whatever song was going to be the first Iâd write with the label again had to be a good one.
Itâd been three weeks since I came back from Jamaica. Three weeks since I wrote with a group of people that made it feel natural--and not that Julian and Jamie didnât, it was more that something in me had been off since Iâd left.
My brain went back to Harry, back to the studio, wondering what was happening and what they were all doing. Even here, sitting in the writing room that had no windows, I was thinking about what he thought and how he felt.
âCan we just scratch this one?â I asked, looking up to see both Julian and Jamie watching as I strummed the same three chords. Julian scrunched his nose and looked to Jamie--waiting for further input. âI have a better one, I have something that I started working on the other night.â
âYeah--sure, okay,â Julian said, shifting in his seat and watching as I pulled my phone out from my bag on the floor. I pulled up the note, put the capo on the second fret, and strummed.
Iâd like to think that you know this
But Iâve got a feeling you might not
Coulda sworn that youâd notice
Maybe it wasnât all our fault
Cause now I know, thereâs no choice but letting go
So Iâll just be with you tonight
Iâll just push all this aside
Cause Iâve got my heart in my hands
And I donât have a plan how to hold it
Cause I knew this wouldnât work
And weâd both end up hurt
Yeah I told ya
âItâs just the first half,â I shrugged, looking back up from the lyrics on the screen.
âThatâs good, Maggie--like really good,â Jamieâs voice was quiet but sure. I looked up at him quickly, I didnât expect the reaction to be that positive. I thought--if anything--the song would get us into a different groove. It was a different tempo, a different chord progression, different key entirely.
I wanted to give us something to just regroup, start fresh, think in a different way. âOh,â I said, âreally? I just had that chorus in my head last night and came up with the first verse.â
âWhere would you go for a bridge in that?â Julian asked, leaning his arm on the table and resting his head in his hand.
âSame chords, I think, different melody.â I nodded confidently, it didnât feel like the song that needed a huge turn around bridge. Julian nodded again and was quiet for a second--I suddenly felt like Iâd just played my first demo to the first B-list producer who would listen.
Julian--who was probably one of the most reputable producers in London--was someone Iâd known for so long. He wasnât a new person or a scary producer that Iâd never worked with. Yet for some reason, playing a song that was only mine felt terrifying.
Iâd long gotten used to the idea of rejection. I mean, when you sell your creations for a living, you kind of have to. I got used to apologetic emails and short voicemails telling me maybe next time, kid, by the time I was 15. Iâd sent so many demos to so many people that eventually, I just wanted someone to say I was good.
When I first started writing songs Iâd play them alone in my bedroom. Then I played them for my parents. Then for my friends. And slowly I got more comfortable putting them out there and letting the world hear what was going on inside my head.
But, without fail, playing a song for a person in the business always felt somewhat daunting. It was the Monday morning anxiety you felt on your way into a difficult job. It was laying everything out there and hoping you donât crash and burn.
I was more than comfortable throwing my ideas around. Words, melodies, I was even comfortable singing in front of people despite the fact that my talent was clearly in verse-crafting.
Iâd brought in a few pieces of songs before--melodies, some phrases or even a verse or two, but this felt different. This song was fully formed--it just needed another verse and a bridge and it was finished. Julian seemed to think so too.
âFinish that, bring it back tomorrow.â
**
I was sat on my couch later that night, weeding through the words that were tangled in my head. Iâd written two separate verses that could complete the song. I wrote a bridge that was fine. Nothing seemed to click though, at least until my phone buzzed on the couch beside me.
Harryâs name on the screen made me push my guitar off of my lap, abandoning it on the cushion beside me. I clawed for it quickly, my heart it in throat as I swiped it open to read whatever heâd said.
Was it an accident? Was he meaning to text a different Maggie he knew?
Can you talk?
I let my thumbs hover over the screen, completely unsure of how to respond to his vague and hopeful question. Should I be hopeful though? Was it fair to think that this was good? Perhaps he wanted to call me up to put one final nail in the coffin; let me know that he never wanted to speak to me again and was officially deleting my contact from his phone and any trace of me from his life. In all honesty, I wouldnât blame him.
I did the time change quickly in my head. It was 2:09pm in Jamaica--if he was still there. I wondered where he was. At the studio? In a different country all together? He could be in Japan with the Queen and I would have no idea--something about that struck me as disheartening.
And how long did I wait? Should I respond quickly to show my remorse--or did I play some form of hard to get and make him wonder how I felt?
I decided to go with the former before I could overthink things too much, and typed an answer.
Sure.
My phone rang within seconds, reflecting the image on my ceiling on the screen. Not only did he want to talk, he wanted to see me.
I ran a hand over my hair once, trying to smooth it out. I wiped under my eyes to clear any smudged mascara before clicking the green button.
âHi,â I said, feeling my face flush just looking at him. He was in a dark room somewhere--not Jamaica, the walls were too dark.
âHi,â he said, his lips set in a straight line. He had some stubble on his chin and he looked a little tired.
âHow are you?â I asked, pulling a leg up to lean back against the couch. My stomach was in knots--I simultaneously felt like I could cry and throw up, and I was probably sweating through my shirt.
âMâokay--how are you?â his words blended together a bit, his accent seemed stronger than usual. I wondered if heâd been home to see his family.
âIâm fine,â I said, shrugging slightly. I didnât know if I should go into it--did I apologize again and tell him that I fucked up? Did he know already that I felt that way? Did it need saying?
âListen--I uh, I just wanted to reach out to let you know that weâre doing an equal cut for everyone who wrote. Jeffrey offered to call, but I figured Iâd just let you know myself. We settled on 25% broken up amongst the creative team. Writers, producers, mixers, engineers, the like.â
I nodded slowly--math wasnât my strong suit, so I had no idea the actual percentage that would leave me with. I figured the other 25% would go to the admin side of things--the label, management, HR, publicists. And then, as per usual, Harry got around 50%.
And it was fine. I was used to it. There were often 40 people behind the scenes that got a small cut of the profit. Harry--or the band, whoever was the face of the project--got a the biggest chunk.
âSo youâll get 2.5% of every sale.â
I pulled myself back and out of the numbers. I looked at the screen again. It wasnât terrible. That was about average. In fact, I think I made less during his days in the band. The album would definitely sell a couple hundred thousand copies. If there were any other royalties--radio plays, streaming, touring royalties, music video royalties--my income would be set for the next two years.
âOkay,â I said, offering another nod with small smile. âHarry, can we just talk for a second? I know you--â
âMaggie weâve already talked,â he said with a sigh. He rubbed at his eyes and didnât seem to look back at me.
I trailed off, licking my lips and waiting for him to say something else. When he didnât, I blinked a few times. âOkay--sure, yeah. I just, I donât know.â
âListen, Iâll talk to you later, okay?â
I nodded slowly, searching for words to change his mind. âYeah, okay.â
And then he hung up.
**
Itâd been a whole year since Iâd stepped foot on U.S. soil, and being in Hopkins International Airport for the second time in a week felt overwhelming. Iâd let Julian know that I needed some space, so a trip to Cleveland to see my parents was a given. Being on a different continent seemed to be enough distance between Harry and I that I could actually breathe.
After our business FaceTime call--which felt too professional for the nature of our previous relationship--I decided to figure out where he was. A quick google search and some social media scrolling let me know that he was, in fact, back in London. I had no idea the duration of his time in Jamaica or when he returned to the city Iâd learned to call home, but I figured running into him would be the cherry on top of the shit-cake that 2016 had shaped up to be.
So, in true Margaret Mable OâRourke fashion--according to my mother--I was running away. And now, after a week in my childhood bedroom wondering if the U.K. was really the place for me, I was headed to Nashville to see Chelsea in all of her stateside glory.
Sheâd begged and pleaded and Iâd submitted three finished songs to Julian to make up for the time that Iâd be gone--but timing was good. The duo we were working with--two girls from Manchester--wanted to record a few demos to prepare an EP of sorts for the label--letting the execs pick which song would be their first single.
When I took off for Ohio, I got a text that the song Iâd played him and Jamie the other day had made it onto their mini portfolio. A week later and now I knew that my song had been chosen, and was now in a final stage of mastering for radio and streaming distribution. It was huge news--news that made my parents feel a little bit better about letting me go back to London after crying in their kitchen about my break up and the hiatus and the sudden shift that left me feeling lonely and incompetent.
So naturally, here in a bar with Chelsea in downtown Nashville kind of amped that feeling up. Because once again, it was extremely unclear to me why we were still here at 1:34am, with Chelsea giggling into the neck of her man of the night.
It was nice to see that she hadnât changed a bit--not that itâd been so long since Iâd seen her. A few months between us and Chelsea was still wearing her bright red lipstick and her hair was as blonde as ever. What had changed, though, was that I was now a miserable, pessimistic, and somewhat drunk girl in a bar in the U.S. whoâd gone and fucked up a relationship that could have been something great (pun intended, I wrote that song with Harry and Julian in the Summer of 2012).
I held my drink up to my lips, letting my tongue find the straw as my eyes wandered around the room. Everywhere I looked, people seemed to be paired up. Groups of girls, groups of guys, couples sprinkled around the room with heads tilted together, laughing as the alcohol in their cups slowly disappeared.
Chelsea and her new friend, however, were much louder and much closer than anyone else in the room.
I was thankful, then, for the distraction of my phone vibrating in my back pocket. The name on my screen seemed to blur out the rest of the bar--the noise, the music, and the people seemed to dim and fade as my eyes focused in on the words.
Julian played me your song the other day, itâs really good. Congrats.
I read it three times. I stared at the punctuation and calculated the different options for the end of his sentence. Did he actually like it? Did he realize that the song was about him? Was he saying that to be nice? Was he throwing me a bone after having a too-professional conversation as if he hadnât watched my face while he made me orgasm?
I sucked down the end of my drink and left Chelsea behind, heading for the bar to refill. More liquid courage for whatever type of response I settled on.
âDirty Shirley, please,â I said, thankful for not having to explain what I meant. Sometimes, in London, the idea of a Shirley Temple struck people as odd. Iâd gotten used to following the name with âsprite, grenadine, and vodka, please.â
The bartender handed me my drink with a smile, letting me disappear back into the crowd to have a moment by myself. I read the message again.
Julian played me your song the other day, itâs really good. Congrats.
Thanks for the feedback? Why did he play it for you? What did you really think? My options were endless, but none of them felt appropriate for the current lack of communication between us. So I sipped at my drink and read it again--hoping, maybe he didnât pick up on the things that sounded eerily similar to us.
And then I read it again.
And again.
And then my drink was gone, and then my finger was pressing his name in my contact list and the phone was pressed to my ear as it rang.
âHello?â his voice was quiet, which made me realize that it was early in the morning there--if thatâs where he was.
âAre you in London?â
âNo,â he said, âIâm in L.A. Where are you?â
My question surprised him--or maybe it was just the sound of my voice. âIâm in Nashville.â
âWhy are you in Nashville?â
His curiosity sparked a feeling of power in me, I turned on my heel and headed for the door to find more quiet. âIâm visiting Chelsea.â
âOh--howâs that?â
âDid you really like my song?â I changed the subject, wanting to get to the real conversation before he inevitably said he didnât want to talk to me.
âI did,â he said confidently, his voice calm and sure. Why was he calm and sure? âAre you drunk?â
âNo,â I said, shaking my head aggressively, denying the fact that there was--undoubtedly--alcohol in my system. âIâm at a bar, though.â Tossing that detail in felt like a surefire way to ignite some jealousy.
âWith Chelsea?â He asked, his voice a little higher pitched.
âAnd some other people,â I lied, watching as the door open and closed as new people filtered into the bar. The noise got louder and then quieted, âChelseaâs friends from work.â
âHowâs she like her new job?â
âShe likes it,â I said, not wanting to get too sidetracked. âWhy did Julian play you the song? When did you see him?â
âLast night--heâs here for work and Iâm here for meetings. We had dinner. When did you write it?â
âA while ago,â I lied again. âItâs in my catalog.â
The lying would have felt more concerning had it not been for the Dirty Shirleys. The next words came out of my mouth without much thought. âYouâre kind of a jerk, though.â
He let out a quiet laugh on the other end of the line. âIâm a jerk? Whyâs that?â
I sighed, somewhat hesitant to continue my sentence. He was a jerk because when I spoke to him two weeks ago he didnât even give me the time of day. Maggie with alcohol brain didnât really care though, at least he was listening now. âBecause you didnât listen to me,â I said.
âMaggie, I--â he started to speak but I cut him off.
âYou didnât even let me explain and you just made your assumptions about what happened.â
âI donât know if we should talk about this now, Maggie,â his voice seemed sad and quiet, less entertained that he was a few seconds earlier.
âThen when, Harry? When will you listen to me and let me actually get a chance to talk?â
He was quiet for a second, I shoved my hand in the pocket of the leather jacket I wore. âMânot sure itâs a good idea.ââ
âOf course, Harry. Of course itâs not a good idea,â I said sarcastically.
He let out a sigh, âMaggieâŠâ
âHarry,â I shot his name back, still sarcastic and still with an attitude.
âLetâs talk tomorrow. You can sleep this off and we can talk in the morning.â
âIt is morning,â I told him matter-of-factly.
âIn your time zone,â he corrected.
I let out a short laugh. âOkay, fuck you.â I was getting more angry with his reluctance to even acknowledge my feelings. Sure--he had the right to feel his own, but that didnât mean that I didnât have any and didnât get to share them. This wasnât all about him, but I guess thatâs what he was used to.
âAlright Maggie, Iâll talk to you later.â
I hung up before responding, the anger building in my chest until it made its way to my eyes, forming as tears that threatened to spill over. I stormed back into the bar, storming past people to find Chelsea--now sat in a booth--with another drink and a different guy.
âIâm going home,â I told her, my hands on my hips as I waited for a response. She stared up at me, my words taking a second to settle in her head and find meaning.
âWhat? Why?â
âItâs almost closing time anyway,â I defended, ignoring her question altogether. âIâm calling an Uber.â
âOkay, alright, fine,â she said, pulling her phone up to check it. The screen lit up, she had a few notifications, but she clicked it shut quickly. âLetâs go.â
She followed me outside, glued to her screen as we waited for our ride to pull up curbside. Plenty of happy and intoxicated people stumbled by us, drunk on the winter air and the Tennessee whiskey that theyâd certainly consumed. But I wondered, for a second, if Harry was as sad as I was.
Did he care? Did he wonder how I felt or wish we hadnât fallen apart? And maybe it was silly to wish that something that had barely taken flight hadnât crashed and burned, but maybe it wasnât. Maybe it wasnât silly to hope that someone who brought a new meaning to my life felt the same way. But I didnât know if Iâd ever find out.
He said weâd talk later. I didnât believe him.
**
I woke up the next morning on Chelseaâs couch. Her flat in Nashville was smaller than what sheâd had in London--but she had the same blanket that Iâd curl up with back home.
âMorning,â she smiled at me as I blinked a few times to clear my vision. She was stood across the living room, leaned against the doorframe to the kitchen, clutching a cup of tea. The sun filtered in through her oversized windows, letting me know that it was probably closer to noon than Iâd like for it to be.
âHi,â I groaned, pushing myself up off of the couch. I rubbed at my eyes and cleared my throat, feeling a wave of nausea hit me. âHow are you?â
âHow are you is the real question,â she laughed and walked to come sit on the couch. I bent my legs at my knees, making room for her to sit on the opposite end.
âWhat do you mean?â
She gave me a sympathetic look, sipping her tea before responding. âYou called Harry last night.â
âOh, yeah, I know,â I said, laying back down and closing my eyes, hoping to avoid the embarrassment that was sure to be showing on my cheeks.
âYou called him a jerk.â
I let out a groan--Iâd forgotten that part--but then opened my eyes to furrow my brow at her. âHow do you know all of this? Did I tell you?â
âNo, he did.â
âHe did?â
She nodded. âHe texted me to make sure you were okay.â
âTo make sure I was okay?â I asked somewhat incredulously as I stared up at the ceiling. âWhat does that even mean?â What I meant, what I thought, was: no, I wasnât okay, and it was because he wouldnât give me a chance to figure things out.
âYou were drunk,â she shrugged.
âI know, but--why does he care? He wonât even listen to me.â
âHe does care, Maggie, he just--â she trailed off, looking down at her tea.
âHe what?â I sat up again, keeping my eyes on her as she carefully picked out her words. Was she defending him? How much did they actually talk?
âHe doesnât know what to do.â
âWell neither do I, Chelsea. Heâs the one who wonât listen. Iâm willing to talk.â I said all of this as if it were old news--but I realized that I hadn't really told her much. I filled her in on Jamaica and the break up and me coming home, but Iâd yet to really tell her about the conversation about the royalties via FaceTime. I also hadnât really told her how I felt about it.
âI know, Maggie.â
âWhat did he say last night?â
She shrugged and seemed to look around the room, wondering whether or not to answer my question.
âLet me read your texts,â I ordered, my eyes on her face to see her reaction. Why would she hide anything? She shouldnât have to, so I should be able to read them.
She let out a sigh and stood from the couch to fetch her phone in her bedroom. When she returned, she handed it over and sat back down.
Hi Chelsea. Are you with Maggie?
Hey, yeah I am. Everything okay?
She just called me. How drunk is she?
I guess drunk enough to call you haha
Is she alright? She seemed mad at me.
She called me a jerk.
Weâre going home, sheâs fine, just tired and drunk.
Sorry she called you a jerk.
Itâs fine, haha. I guess she just wants to talk.
She definitely wants to talk. Do you not want to?
Not sure yet.
Just wanted to make sure sheâs okay, is all. Have a good night, sorry to bother. X
I let out a sigh and looked up at Chelsea--I couldnât really be mad that she had spoken with him. I was the one--alcohol and all--that decided to give him a call and apparently, a piece of my mind.
She stared back at me, her eyes soft and understanding as I tried to search for words. But I couldnât find any. Because the only words that played on a loop in my head were: you fucked up, Maggie.
AN: Hi all!!!! Your love for this story is seriously amazing and I super super appreciate it. This story has been tough to write at times because itâs different than what Iâm used to tbh. But alas, thanks for reading. Feedback is always welcome!!!!!Â

Connor Myerson | Easy Physical Fitness - Swimming - A Whole Body Workout
Allow's handle the fat burning concern straight off, since if we don't, you may bypass among the best workouts around.
Swimming, tradition has it, is not a great way to reduce weight - a long-lasting piece of false information that admittedly isn't eliminated by paper pictures of Hindenburg-size marathon swimmers stumbling from some icy sea.
Real, when you swim, your body is sustained by water, as well as since you aren't forced to combat gravity, there can be less calorie burn. It is likewise real that some marathon swimmers will not be modeling underwear anytime quickly (in fact, it behooves marathon swimmers to bring some fat as valuable insulation versus cold water). And also it's true that a 150-pound man swimming at a leisurely speed burns about 6 calories a minute. He can melt nearly two times the calories going for a pedestrian 12-minute-mile speed.
But before you turn your back on the pool, consider this. That exact same 150-pounder can double his calorie burn by swimming much faster. Swimming butterfly (one of the most hard of swimming's four strokes) burns approximately 14 calories a min - a much better caloric melt than tennis, squash, or football (soccer). What we're talking about right here is intensity, which clarifies why Olympic swimmers (unlike marathon swimmers) have the sort of body that obtains the duty of Tarzan.
Swimming provides others other advantages that can't be overlooked. Because you are supported by water, it's a low-impact sport and also hence practically injury-free. For the very same reason it's also an excellent exercise if you're obese, given that it spares your joints the pounding experienced in gravity-bound sports like running.
The diverse strokes used in swimming take your joints via a full series of motion that can enhance versatility. Most important, couple of exercises provide you the head-to-toe muscle mass workout that swimming does.
You are making use of almost all the major muscle teams of the body. the legs, hips, abdominal muscles, breast, shoulders, and top back - all of these muscle mass are functioning. You can also obtain tremendous stimulation to the heart and breathing system. Regarding general wellness goes, swimming is a superb conditioner.
 Starting
Here's a likely circumstance: Thrilled by the possibility of all these advantages, guy goes to the swimming pool. Man puts on suit as well as goggles. Male pushes off the wall surface and creates the various other end. Male provides self and lifeguard a significant scare.
Connor Myerson
Swimming, it requires to be claimed, is not a sport that comes effortlessly. Witness leisure swimming pools, which are usually full of individuals that appear like they're more interested in self-preservation than exercise. We're going to reveal you how to make that transition from whipping wheezer to graceful swimmer and also how to boost even if you're already at home in the water.
Get Qualified Guideline - Discovering to swim might feel like something for preschoolers in water wings. However also if you can effectively browse from one end of the swimming pool to the other, appropriate technique is not something that you can find out on your own.
Hold your horses - We anticipate to select things up swiftly. Swimming will not be just one of them. Knowing appropriate stroke strategies takes some time, and that takes persistence. People desire outcomes as soon as possible, but swimming is extremely technical, which is really discouraging for a lot of people. Discovering swimming's four strokes - freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and also butterfly is not difficult, but it is important that you find out just how to do them properly if you want to obtain the most out of swimming.
Kick back In The Water - When you're learning to swim, unwinding is the most important point that you can do - and the most challenging. When individuals are discovering to swim, they obtain nervous as well as they tighten. And also when they do that, they find themselves sinking, as well as it's just that much more challenging. You require to unwind as well as remain loosened. If you occur to be one of those people whose muscular tissues secure into a state appearing like roughness mortis whenever you go near the swimming pool, you may intend to pick up a set of swim fins. They make your kick a lot more effective, which implies that they will keep you up and also planing across the surface, even when you're tense and limited.
Get The Right Devices - There's not a great deal that you need to purchase, simply a suit and swimming goggles. The option of suit is yours. Racing fits are light as well as comfortable. More vital, they offer basically no drag in the water. Swimming safety glasses are a must. Maintaining the pool from ending up being a virus reunion calls for liberal use chemicals as well as a number of these chemicals are difficult on the eyes. Periodically, you'll see swimmers using nose plugs or earplugs. Conserve your loan. Unless you're particularly vulnerable to swommer's ear, the body is developed to stand up to dampness in these specific orifices. Anyway, earplugs tend to befall while you're swimming, and nose plugs make it tough to breathe - and when you're swimming hard, you wish to be trapping all the oxygen you can.
Swimming For Fitness
Swimming looks easy, particularly when you enjoy skilled swimmers glide via the water. However swimming is an extremely requiring sporting activity; for novices it can be a fight simply to get to the various other end of the swimming pool.
To accomplish solid standard fitness, try swimming three to 4 times a week, logging in between 2,000 as well as 3,000 backyards (roughly 1.5 to 2 miles) each exercise. Most swimmers can obtain that type of distance in concerning a hr.
If you're fairly fit yet brand-new to swimming, specialists advise swimming between 500 and 1,000 backyards each exercise. After that build gradually from there. Swimming is a strenuous task. You'll be using brand-new muscles, and it's very easy to stress them. Shoulder injuries are specifically common amongst excitable newcomers.
Begin With A Warm Up - Swimming might be a flexible sport, yet you still want to chill out prior to diving right into a high-bore workout. Experts encourage swimmers to heat up with a 400 backyard swim - 200 lawns freestyle, 100 lawns of backstroke, as well as 100 lawns of breaststroke - blending the strokes to bring all the muscles right into play.
Work Up To Intervals - Although you can obtain an excellent workout by swimming straight time, doing the very same stroke at the exact same speed for half a hr approximately, you'll melt significantly much more calories by doing an interval exercise. This is nothing more than a series of swims separated by a details amount of remainder (the period). For example, you could do ten 50-yard freestyle swims, leaving the wall every minute. Or you could do five 100-yard freestyle swims leaving the wall every 2 mins. A normal swimming workout consists of a number of sets, with about 10 to 30 second periods between each swim of the collection, then several mins rest between each collection. The crucial point is not to enable way too much remainder throughout the set, you do not wish to fully recoup in between swims.
Mix Your Speeds - A great deal of people just problem themselves to swim at one speed since they do the exact same sort of workout constantly. If you want to enhance, you require to discover to swim quick. It's not that every swim needs to be a sprint. The concept is to blend things up. Instead of swimming the same half-mile pedestrian plod daily, for instance, do intervals instead. And also make a minimum of among those interval sets involve fast swimming. Swimming fast brings more muscle mass fibers into play, tax obligations the heart as well as lungs extra, as well as burns as high as twice the calories. Naturally, when you're swimming fast, you'll need to rest longer in between each swim to make sure that you can truly make a high quality effort. As an example, when doing ten 50-yard swims, you may want to leave the wall every 2 minutes as opposed to the 1 min recommended for a slower speed. You're relaxing more, yet I assure you will certainly be beat. An additional factor: It's always a great concept to do your sprints set early in the exercise while you're still fresh.
Mix Your Strokes - Lots of swimmers swim only freestyle. If you are just one of them, you're losing out. Tossing swimming's various other strokes right into your workout will certainly assist you strike extra muscle mass as well as improve your flexibility by bringing different motions right into play.
Put Your Limbs to Work - Pulling (swimming making use of just your arms) as well as kicking (using just your legs) are good additions to any swimming workout. Drawing is a terrific upper-body conditioner. Kicking hits your legs; add a pair of fins, as well as you'll enhance ankle joint flexibility, making your legs work even harder. And also due to the fact that they involve big muscle mass, kicking and drawing boost your heart price practically as high as swimming the total stroke. When kicking, do not utilize a kick-board. Hanging on to the plastic foam board increases your upper body as well as drops your hips and also legs down. Great swimming implies stabilizing the hips and head near the surface area of the water; having your legs angling down like anchors doesn't achieve that.
Obtain A Quick Burn - If you're searching for a hard workout that you can do in marginal time, right here's a difficult option. The trick to this workout isnât speed up, yet decreasing your pause to the outright minimum. Using the stroke of your option, maintain the effort rather simple, claim 60 percent of your optimum heart price. However keep the rest period between swims extremely brief, no greater than 7 to 15 secs, relying on the distance you're swimming. For example, if you're doing a collection of short swims (claim, 50 yards), you might wish to rest about 7 seconds between every one. For longer swims of 200 lawns, for instance, take 15 seconds in between each one. Maintaining the pause brief permits practically no time for recovery. This maintains your heart price up and also banging, giving you a fantastic exercise in a reasonably short time. You're educating your heart to be a great deal a lot more efficient. And also it does not suggest even more time in the pool. It indicates swimming more laps in the provided time. You can get in a great exercise in an hour lunch break.

checking (you) out (Pidge/Lance)
Summary: Katie works the tech desk at the university library. Lance never remembers to wipe his memory card before returning the camera equipment, which is how she becomes intimately familiar with his life via, of all things, his vlogs. A/N: finally get to post this in full! Written for @plance-zine ; it was wonderful to be part of such a project, and shoutout to the mods for keeping everything running smoothly! :)
[Read and review here] or continue under the cut.
People, Katie has decided, are predictable. Â Watch them for long enough, and their everyday motions start to read like clockwork. Â At 9 AM on Thursdays, she shows up for her shift behind the libraryâs tech desk. At 9:20, the girl with space buns and an artfully distressed jean jacket strides in, heading straight for one of the study pods. Â At 9:25, somebody blows through the doors in a last-minute effort to print materials for their 9:30 class. And at 10:50, ten minutes before Katieâs shift ends, Lance McClain shows up, laboring under the weight of a camera bag, backpack, and tripod.
Katie reaches for the scanner as Lance puffs his way toward her, depositing the tripod on the table with a heavy clunk. Â It takes him another minute to locate his student ID card: he checks the pocket of his cargo jacket first (not thereâit never is) before wriggling his fingers into his jean pocket instead. Â When he hands the plastic over, itâs warm from being pressed against his thigh. Â
Katie spares it a passing glance as she pulls up the âEquipment Returnâ form, filling in the requisite information.
âYouâre good to go.â Â She gives him a thumbs-up, careful not to look him straight in the eye.
âCool, thanks.â Flashing a bright grin, Lance backpedals toward the doors, slinging his backpack over his shoulder. Â
Once heâs disappeared completely from view, Katie unzips the camera bag. She flicks the dial to on and goes straight to display mode. Â Sure enough, the schmuck hasnât bothered wiping the memory card. Â
Smirking, Katie kicks her feet up on the table and leans back in her chair. Â
Let the entertainment begin.
o.O.o
Lance McClain does not know her name, and Katie is completely content with this. Â She applied for her gig at the tech desk specifically because it required minimal human interaction. Â Nobody expects her to make conversation; they just want to check out equipment and leave. Â Occasionally she has to troubleshoot a printer jam or direct tourists to the bathrooms; most of the time, though, she just does her homework and gets paid.
Still, when someone visits at least twice a week, itâs hard not to notice. Â The first time Lance left recording footage behind on the camera had sparked her interest, and from there it wasnât too hard to find his YouTube channel, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Â Which was how she knew that he was a second-year bio major with a side-job at the Starbucks in the Garrison, the student union, and in his free time he liked to record himself attempting to do stunts with his skateboard, if not narrating a funny story about his day or answering the call of things like the Cinnamon Challenge. Â
Katie and Keith had gotten halfway through that video before Keith closed her laptop.
âI canât watch you do this to yourself,â Keith said, shaking his head. Â âKatie, youâre too good for him.â
âIâm hate-watching!â Katie justified, attempting to wrestle her Chromebook from Keithâs grip. Â
âYou know way too much about him to just be âhate-watching,ââ said Keith, making air quotes with his left hand. Â âYou have his student ID number memorized.â
Katie glared. Â She regretted letting that piece of information slip. Â Memorizing Lanceâs ID hadnât even been intentionalâitâd only happened because of how many times sheâd typed his information into the system during checkout. Â
âYou go to office hours just so you can breathe the same air as your TA for an extra 120 minutes,â she retorted. Â âYou donât get to lecture me on sad.â
Anyways. Â All of this is to say that despite what Keith thinks, she does not have a weird, borderline crush-fascination with Lance. Â And when she stumbles into Green Libraryâs 24-hr study room at 3 AM to work on a CS project, heâs the last person sheâs expecting to see.
Lance is slouched in a swivel chair, earbuds plugged into the desktop in front of him. Â One dangles loosely around his neck, the other shoved in his ear. Upon hearing someone else enter, he lurches to attention. Â Katie pretends not to noticeâshe fully intends to sit on the other side of the roomâbut Lance doesnât give her the chance.
âHey! Â Youâre tech-desk girl!â
Itâs a dumb nickname.  Definitely not something to get excited about, and Katie schools her features to reflect that.  Sheâs above all⊠this. Unaffected. âI have a name.â
A quirk of the lips. Â Lance somehow manages to hook an ankle around the chair closest to him and spins it so the seat faces toward her, an offering. Â âWanna tell it to me?â
Itâs uncannily close to the Pick-up Line Challenge video he posted to his account a month ago. Â Katie tries not to think too hard about that.
âWhatâs in the thermos?â she asks instead, setting her backpack down and warily accepting the chair. Â
âRedbull and coffee.â Â Lanceâs leg bounces under the table, fingers tapping a jittery rhythm on the keyboard. Â âWanna try some?â
âNo thanks. Â It sounds unholy.â
âOh, it is.  Definitely a personal low, but sometimes youâve gotta do what youâve gotta do.â  As he gulps his strange concoction, Lanceâs face wrinkles, throat flexing as if heâs swallowed a frog.  âGod, this is like⊠sacrilege for me.â His voice lowers, confiding. âIâm a barista.â
âI know,â blurts Katie. Â Immediately after, she freezes, hoping that the comment will drop unnoticed.
No such luck. Â Lance raises an eyebrow, questioning. Â A strange light has entered his eyes; by admitting that sheâs paid attention to him, Katie has suddenly become the sole focus of his attention. Â
How much to admit? Â Best to be bluntârip it off like a bandaid. Â The best defense is offense, and all that.
âYou never delete your videos off the camera before you return it,â she says.
Whatever explanation Lance had been anticipating, this one catches him off guard. Â His face contorts as he tries to process the information. âIâmy videos?â
Itâs almost too easy, slipping into the impersonation. Â âHey guys, itâs ya boi Lance, and today Iâll beââ
âOkay, okay.â Â Lance waves his hands, cutting her off. Â âPlease do not continue.â
âI thought youâd be flattered hearing your own lines back at you.â
âNot like that, itâs weird! Â You make me sound like a tool.â Â He sighs. âWell, now Iâm disappointed.â Â
Katie frowns. Â âWhy?â
âI donât know! I thought itâd be cool if you knew stuff about me because I was like, your secret Starbucks crush or something.â Â At this, he shoots her a hopeful look.
âI donât drink coffee.â
âWe sell other stuff. Â Also, you still havenât told me your name.â
âItâs Katie,â she finally relents, breaking eye contact to pull her laptop out of her bag. Â When she looks over again, Lance is resting his chin on his hand, staring at her thoughtfully.
âWhat.â
âSo does this mean you subscribe to my YouTube channel?â
âNo.â
Lance pouts. Â âWhy not?â
âI like the raw footage better. Â Itâs funnier. Like the first take of the spicy noodle challenge, where you spewed milk out of your nose? Â Classic.â She cranes her neck to look over his shoulder. âWhat are you working on, anyways?â
âNothing!â Lance pushes his body between her and the screen, the broad line of his back blocking her view. Â
âDoesnât sound like nothing if youâre being like that.â
âHey, havenât you heard about this thing called privacy? Â 4th Amendment! Search and seizure! Gimme back the mouâ ow!â
Years of wrestling with Matt has made Katie adept at underhanded maneuvers; with Lance still rubbing his side from where she pinched him, she takes control of the mouse and opens up the window heâd minimized earlier. Â Onscreen, several scenes are being recolored and spliced together; she recognizes the footage from earlier today.
âDo you always make your videos on the school computers?â
âI have my own laptop. Itâs just shitty and will only run like, 2 programs at a time, and all thatâs being directed towards a stats project right now.â Â Lance eyes her sideways. âHey, what major are you? Or, waitâare you a freshman? Have you even declared yetââ
âIâm a sophomore. Â Computer science and math.â
âAh, the double major.â Â Lance nods, then puffs out his chest. Â âGuess what I am.â
Common sense tells Katie that she should play dumb. Â Let him have the satisfaction of correcting her. But her overwhelming need to prove she knows things wins out.
âPre-med bio.â
Lance blinks. Â âWow, first guess.â Â His surprise turns sly. Â âYou do have a crush on me.â
Katie rolls her eyes. Â âDonât flatter yourself. Â All it takes is a quick LinkedIn search.â
âYeah, but you only fully read through someoneâs LinkedIn when youâre a) hiring or b) evaluating their bae potential. Â Itâs okayââ he holds up a hand, cutting off her protest, ââIâm honored, truly.â
âYouâre ridiculous.â Â This entire interaction has gone so far off the rails, she doesnât know how to begin redirecting it. Â Lance, meanwhile, shifts focus easily, pulling a camera out of his backpack and popping the lens cap off with practiced ease. Â The next thing Katie knows, itâs pointed at her, Lance narrating: âYouâve heard of Sleepless in Seattle, but weâre here with Sleepless in the Study Room, guest-starring my new friend Katie!â
âWhatâwho said we were friends?â says Katie, trying to duck out of the frame. Â Lance is an unerring videographer, though; he follows every motion. Â Backed into a corner, Katie swats at the lens before remembering that itâs from the tech desk and, therefore, her responsibility. Â She stays her hand.
âWeâve been talking for over half-an-hour,â Lance says, flashing his phone at her, where 3:30 AM makes itself known in thin white strokes. Â âIâd say that counts for something.â
His smile is bright and close. Â Itâs probably the lack of sleep thatâs making her loopy, but the feeling underneath her skin is not unlike a sugar rush. Â
âI guess,â she says.
o.O.o
She regrets everything the next morning. Â The minute she gets behind the tech desk, Katie thumps her head down and starts calculating. If she naps in ten minute increments, maybe sheâll recuperate some of her lost sleep and still manage to do her job.
The hours crawl by slowly. Â At 10:50, the characteristic whoosh of the automatic doors awakens her from her latest sleep cycle, and from somewhere above, an entirely too chipper voice says: âYou look like you could use a pick-me-up.â
âThis is your fault,â Katie groans, raising her chin to glower at Lance. Â âBecause of you, I got distracted, and then I had to stay up even later to finish coding.â
âI know, I was there. Â You are a very aggressive programmer, by the way.â
âJust pass over your card so I can check this equipment back in,â she grumbles, wiggling her fingers in demand. Â Instead, though, Lance curls her fingers around a warm paper cup.
Katie stares at it blankly. Â âI told you I didnât drink coffee.â
âItâs my special blend,â Lance insists. Â âYouâll like it, promise.â
âYeah, well, itâs going to have to wait ten minutes,â sighs Katie, pushing it to the side and heaving the camera and tripod over the desk. âIâm not allowed to have drinks back here. Â On-duty policy.â
âThen Iâll keep it safe in the meantime,â says Lance, snatching it back. Â âIâll just be over here.â
Katie watches him stake out a table. Â Blinks a few times, to confirm that heâs still there. Â This isnât part of their usual routine. It feels strange but not entirely unwelcome. Â
When she flicks to the cameraâs memory card, itâs clean. Â Thatâs weird, tooâthat they actually had a fully fledged conversation, and he took something she said to heart. Â In fact, the other night, sheâs pretty sure she made him laugh. And thereâd been a moment, where Lance had tipped his head back, eyes crinkling, and Katie had thought: shit, maybe Keith had been onto something after all.
When her shift ends, she heads over to the table that Lance has staked out. Â In characteristic Lance fashion, heâs already found a way to unfold himself over all the available space: backpack slung over the back of an empty chair, feet kicked up on the seat opposite him. Â Katie nudges them aside as she sits down, reaching over to grab her coffee, and Lanceâs face brightens.
âBy the way, your earbuds arenât plugged in completely,â she says, sipping her drink. Â Lance, despite only knowing her from their interactions the night before, has somehow guessed at her sweet tooth, and the foamy latte goes down easily. Â âNice music.â
Lance rips the buds from his ears, gaping down at his phone in horror. Onscreen, a disturbingly animated baby waves its arms, singing, Yes papa, as a banjo strums in the background. Â Katie marks that down as another piece of information on Lance: listens to educational childrenâs music in his free time.
âIn my defense, itâs for a project.â
âSure it is,â she says, slapping Lanceâs hand away when he tries to grab the coffee back in retaliation, and itâs so natural to mess with him like this, to laugh and call him noodle arms and have everybody else glare at them for being disruptive.
I think it counts for something, Lance had said the other night.
Something, indeed. Â

Multiple update time: Reigate half, Sittingbourne 10 and Abingdon marathon
Oh dear, itâs been 3 months since I last wrote anything on here about my running, so nowâs the time to get up to speed with what has been going on.Â
After the Caterham half (detailed here) I looked at the goal races I had lined up and drew up a training plan. I actually only had two races booked in my calendar: the Reigate half marathon in mid September, and the Abingdon marathon five weeks later. So I decided to loosely follow the marathon training plan I used for my first ever marathon in Brighton in 2014, with Abingdon as the eventual finale and Reigate as one of the marathon tune-up runs. I always find training difficult in the warm summer months and during the school holidays, but this plan was doable because it shouldnât mean excessive mileage (the greatest week being 55 miles, but most weeks between 40-50 miles). It also only meant five running days per week, so two days to fully rest and recover and not create any further injuries. I was hoping that training when it was warm would mean that the cool autumn races would be much easier too!Â
I had entered the Reigate Half in 2017 at the âearly birdâ price and it had always been my main aim this year once recovered from my injury; it had been useful to have a long term goal to focus on when I started back running in April. After my Caterham half disappointment my training needed to focus on building up the Sunday long runs (all after a fast paced Saturday parkrun) and also ensuring I tried to get one tempo or interval session in during the week. I was also determined to listen to my body, so if I felt too tired for one of the sessions, I would change it to something else, but make sure that I still got the miles under my belt. By the time the Reigate half came round on 16th September, I had managed 5 runs between 16 - 20 miles, and felt a lot more prepared than when I ran Caterham 2 months previously.
This was my first time running the Reigate half. The organisation was superb, and the communication, event village, baggage tent and parking was faultless. The course itself was all on closed roads, and Iâd been warned it was quite hilly. In fact there were only really two hills - in the first mile and the last mile - but everything else was all slightly undulating; I never felt like I was on the flat at any point. My race plan was to go out at 4min/km (6:25/mile), and see how long I could keep that up. In the end I managed that pace for the first 8 miles, then started to slow, crossing the finish in 1:26:34. My whole run, however, had been slightly hampered by the hill in the first mile: going up it had been slow, so I had rocketed down it and that had made both my hamstrings sore, like a minor strain, which remained for the rest of the race. It probably didnât slow me down much, but it certainly wasnât nice to run with. Nevertheless, I was content with my time, and finished 1st in the V50 age category, which was an added bonus despite there being no age category prizes. You can view my race on Strava here.
After Reigate there were now five weeks until the Abingdon marathon. In the next two weeks my long runs consisted of a 16 miler with 12 miles at around marathon pace (4:13/km or 6:46/mile), and a 20 miler. The following week I decided to do a final tune-up race and entered the Sittingbourne Striders 10 mile road race. I had run this race in 2015 in a time of 64:30; you can read about that encounter here, which explains the course in detail. This year I was hoping to run a bit quicker and something in the 63 minute range. The weather was cool and conditions very good apart from a fairly stiff breeze in places, and this came to the fore midway through the race at the highest point of the circuit. I ran well, and, more importantly, enjoyed the race; I enjoy few races these days as Iâm usually thinking of pace, splits and times rather than the event itself. The fact that I didnât hit my goal time, but finished in 64:22 (which was a small PB) didnât really bother me. Oh, and I was third too, and received a ÂŁ10 Sweatshop voucher and a trophy for my troubles.Â
You can view my efforts on Strava here.
Now there were two weeks left before Abingdon, so I tried to do a mini taper, but failed really because I had put myself down for the Surrey League Cross Country the following Saturday, and ended up with a 41 mile week. So in the end it was more like a 1 week taper, with a half-hearted attempt at carb loading two days before the race. I examined the training Iâd done over the past 17 weeks, and the mileage worked out at an average of 43 miles/week. Compared to 2015, when I finished the London marathon in a time of 3 hrs 06 minutes on an average 52 miles/week, and 2016 when I finished in 2 hrs and 58 minutes on an average of 57 miles/week, the training was certainly on the light side. Saying that, Iâd got some good long runs in, and was sure that the warm weather training would be beneficial now the temperature had dropped. I was also weighing in at the lightest I had been for some time, which could only help. Realistically, I didnât think I could get under 3 hours again, but thought I could be close, so my plan was to run the first 13.1 mile in 90 minutes and see how it went from there.
5:10am on Sunday and Iâm up before my alarm goes off. Iâd sorted out everything the night before, but it still took me the best part of an hour to eat and get ready, so soon after 6am I was in the car and away. I hadnât been looking forward to the drive much, and it took me about 1 hour 45 minutes, taking it easy as it was dark and also foggy in places, with the outside temperature about 8 degrees - perfect running conditions though! Parking was in a local school, for which there were plenty of spaces, and the event all took place at the local sports arena, so everything (toilets, baggage, snacks and coffee, and space to warm up) were all close to hand. I spotted the local scouts were selling flapjacks for 50p, so bought some to add to my pre-race banana as I was already feeling peckish from my breakfast 2 hours previously. I stayed dressed until 15 minutes before the start, did one lap of the track just to get the legs moving, and settled in waiting for the starter.
Abingdon marathon is a marathon for serious marathon runners. You wonât find many charity fun-runners here. The only real reason to run it is because it is flat and fast, and the race was packed with lean racers who were certainly not new to this game, looking for that elusive PB that perhaps they had missed at the hottest London marathon earlier in the year. It was 18 months since I last raced the distance, and I was quite nervous whether Iâd be able to complete it on the limited training I had done. When the hooter went, there was the usual excited racing off by some runners who forgot that it wasnât a 5k, but I soon fell into my own pace and let these runners gradually come back to me.Â
The route heads out to the east at first to Radley, onto a footpath through Radley lakes (covered in low mist) then back to the west, twisting through the narrow streets of Abingdon town, where we were greeted with some generous support. The route then headed south out of Abingdon, along the River Thames, until it turned sharply to the west again, just before 10k, for the first of two loops through the local villages, each loop approximately 14k. It then headed back towards Abingdon town again, through western part of the town before turning back to the finish at the athletics track.
My memory of races is usually vague, but there were some parts that stuck in my mind:
There was the heavily panting runner who was taking up the whole path through Radley lakes by running in the middle (it was easily two-abreast if you ran to the side). That slowed me down a bit, and I genuinely worried that he could safely run 10k let alone a marathon.Â
There were the three runners who drafted behind me for many miles, using me as a slight windbreak against the breeze. I didnât get annoyed because I was running my own race, but it would have been nice for them to have taken turns at the front. I dropped them both later in the race.
There was the point after about 5 miles when I said to myself âWhy am I doing this? It all feels quite hard, and I could just stop and go home earlyâ. That was a strange emotion so early on, and I think I was focusing too much on the remaining distance. I calmed down by telling myself it was just a long training run.
There was the lady runner who caught me somewhere around the 18 mile mark, and it urged me to concentrate on my pace, which must have been slowly dropping. I ran with her for a few miles before she gradually pulled away and finally finished a minute in front of me.Â
I remember the joy at seeing the 20 mile marker, and knowing it was only 10k to go. If I could keep my pace up I would finish in a respectable time. Although I was starting to struggle to turn the legs over, it was only in the last 5k that my pace really started to slow.Â
As you run through Abingdon town with only 3k to go, you have to negotiate a twisty underpass, and climbing up the short steep far side was torture!
Finishing on the athletics track with a fast 300m sprint where I overtook a few people, including the triathlon legend Annie Emmerson. It was a great conclusion to the race.
So how was my race overall (which you can view on Strava here)? Well, I passed half-way in just over 90 minutes, and proceeded to lose another 3 minutes over the second half. My 10k splits were 42:28, 43:05, 43:43 and 44:34, so no big collapse, just a gradual slowing, although I did get my pace back on track for the final 2.2k which I completed in 9:33. My finish time was 3:03:23, which is my second fastest marathon time, albeit 5 minutes slower than my PB. I placed 152 out of the 744 finished, of which the first 124 ran sub 3 hours. Now that is a quality field of marathon runners!
Would I recommend it? Absolutely - the results speak for themselves! The race has a capacity for 1200 and does sell out, so enter early. It usually opens in mid February and is full within 6 weeks. I got a medal and a t-shirt for my ÂŁ43, as well as some very sore legs for a few days, followed by a nasty head cold as my immune system wasnât up for keeping anything at bay!
Next race is the Brighton 10k in 3 weeks. Iâve not run a 10k this year yet due to my long time absence with injury, so it will be interesting to see if I can remember how to pace myself over that shorter distance. Iâd like to aim for 38 minutes but I need to shift this cold first and get some speedwork in to see if I have any hope of that. Whatever the outcome, itâs great to be back running well again.

From the Fish Box
"Dear Mr. Mack, I've been on this spiritual journey for a year now which started with your methods. Spirit has been teaching me all kinds of things. Started off using a pendulum but no longer need it to communicate. I'm able to talk directly having conversations. Most are yes/no type conversations. If I doubt myself or my energy is off I use the push/pull method. They have taught me how to recognize different types of spirits. How to help cross over souls. Even how to communicate with them on the other side. All this while I'm a firm believer in the Bible. I've shared with others in my church about my lifelong food allergies being gone and how you helped me but most just seem to not get it. Because of the pushback from what I would call a real miracle. I don't dare talk with anyone in the church about everything else. Mr. Mack, there has been so much change in my life since I decided to try your download healing sessions a year ago that it's too much to list. Like all my mistakes, insights and even a few visions. Talking with angels, spirit guides and lost souls. Outer body experiences, lots of dreams and even learning about my past lives. I've heard disembodied voices, seen shadows and even little lights. I just wanted to write this to tell you how God has used you in my life. The peace & strength in faith this has brought me has been so wonderful. Keep the faith and keep healing!" - J.B.
