I'll Take You In |Naruto Men X Reader| HC
Characters: Kakashi Hatake, Sasuke Uchiha, Shikamaru Nara, Naruto Uzumaki, and Gaara
Summary: They bring home a baby.
Warnings: Implications of child abandonment.
Masterlist Ko-fi
- - - - -
Kakashi Hatake
It was late at night, and he'd just returned home from a mission.
You immediately noticed the little bundle in his arms. Without a second thought, you'd plucked the little one out of his arms and made your way to the couch for cuddles.
"Who's this?"
He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck and took the spot next to you.
"A little girl we found alone in the woods on the way back. No one in the area claimed her, so we brought her back here."
"She's beautiful."
"I offered to take her in."
You were shocked by that. Kakashi had never shown any interest in kids, so for him to offer to take one in was unexpected.
"I know, I should've talked to you first, I just," he sighed, "I got kind of attached."
You shook your head at him, worried he'd taken your shock as disappointment.
"I get why. She definitely fits the baby sized hole I've suddenly acquired in my heart."
The next morning, you'd taken the little girl to Sakura for a checkup and to the records hall for a birth certificate.
Meanwhile, Kakashi had recruited a Gai to assist him with the nursery.
By end of day, you had a fully built and stocked bedroom for your daughter.
It hadn't even been 24 hours, and yet you'd already perfectly filled out as a family.
Sasuke Uchiha
You'd just returned home from grocery shopping when you found Sasuke and Kakashi talking in the living room.
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until Sasuke turned around holding a baby.
You dropped the bags in your hand and immediately made your way over to them.
"Who's the cutie?"
You combed your fingers through the baby's hair and fought the urge to kiss their face.
"Naruto and I found him in the woods on the way back from Suna. We asked around, but no one seemed to be missing a baby."
Sasuke passed the baby to you, knowing you would most definitely want to cuddle.
He made eye contact with Kakashi, a silent way of telling him to leave. He did without protest, knowing exactly why he was no longer welcome.
"I actually wanted to discuss something with you."
You hummed, too busy playing peekaboo to pay your husband any mind.
"I would like to... keep the baby."
Your eyes snapped up at him. Who was this and where was your husband?
"You want to keep a random baby you found?"
He blushed, not really liking the forwardness of your words.
"He's a good baby. He'd make a great addition to the clan."
You didn't need any further convincing. You loved kids and wanted plenty of them. This would just be a head start of sorts.
You hugged and kissed Sasuke, thankful you had a wonderful husband.
Shikamaru Nara
Oh boy.
When Shikamaru came home with a baby, you knew something was up.
He never volunteered for work, so you knew something unfortunate had to have happened.
You'd made your way over to him to see the baby, but stopped when you didn't recognize them.
Sakura and Hinata had recently had their babies, so you expected it'd be one of them, but no. This baby didn't look like anyone you knew.
"They found her in one of Orochimaru's old hideouts. Sakura checked her out, and she seems okay, but..."
"But?"
"She needs a home."
You nodded. Obviously, she needed a home. Then it dawned on you.
"You want us to keep her?"
He nodded and looked away.
You smiled.
"She must be something special if you wanna take her in."
"Kakashi asked me specifically, and I don't know, there's just something about her..."
You stopped him before he started talking himself into a hole. You understood, and were more than happy to bring the little one into your family.
Naruto Uzumaki
When Sakura told you that your husbands had found a baby on their way home from Suna, you weren't very surprised that Naruto had come home with them.
He looked a bit sheepish, like a kid who got caught by his mom.
Neither of you had to say anything. You already knew what he was going to ask, and he already knew that you knew.
"Look, I know what the orphanage is like, and he's so little, and-"
"It's okay, Naruto. I understand."
He felt a flood of relief wash through him.
"So we can keep him?"
You laughed and took the baby from him.
He really was so little, probably less than a week old. You felt a sense of obligation, not just because of Naruto. It felt like that baby was supposed to be yours.
"Yeah, I think I'd like to take him in."
Gaara
Since he had taken over the role of Kazekage, the sand village had been striving. Poverty was at an all time low, shinobi had higher success rates due to higher moral, and the economy had been booming.
The orphanage had, thankfully, been empty for quite some time, so when a baby was suddenly in need of a home, they came to him first.
He thought about reopening the orphanage for this one child, but he had a better idea.
Which is why he had come home from his regular work day with a baby.
To say you were shocked would be an understatement. You never imagined Gaara would be the one to bring home a child, that was much more yout Forte.
"I should have discussed this with you prior. I can always make alternate arrangements if you-"
You shut him up instantly.
This baby was now yours. A little girl, a daughter, just as you had always imagined.
"She's perfect."

request: jason todd and reader are babysitting (damian, a random child, you choose) and someone confuses both of you as parents and jason is struck by how much he doesn’t hate being mistaken for the father of your child.
Hi anon! Honestly this is such a cute idea🥹 lucky for you I was able to whip up something....
Title: Unspoken Bonds summary: Jason, reader, and Damian, spend a day at the Gotham Aviary, indulging Damian's fascination with birds of prey. As they bond, a passing stranger comments on how cute their "family" looks, unknowingly sparking something deep within Jason.
The morning sunlight filtered through the windows of Wayne Manor, casting a golden glow over the grand living room. You were sitting on the couch, waiting for Jason to finish lacing up his boots while Damian stood near the door, arms crossed with his usual impatient glare.
“I still don’t understand why I need the two of you to accompany me,” Damian grumbled. “I’m perfectly capable of going alone.”
Jason chuckled as he straightened up, meeting Damian’s glare with a teasing smirk. “Oh, I’m sure you are, demon spawn. But if you want to keep Alfred from locking down the Batcave after the last time you snuck out, you’ll play along.”
Damian huffed, crossing his arms tighter. “That was your fault. If you hadn’t—”
“Okay, enough,” you interrupted, standing up and grabbing your bag. “Let’s just enjoy the day, alright? We’re taking you somewhere you’ve wanted to go, Damian. Be happy.”
The teen gave you a skeptical glance, but there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes. You had planned a surprise for him, and despite his stubbornness, Damian’s love for adventure always won out in the end.
After a short drive into Gotham, the three of you arrived at the Gotham Aviary, a hidden gem in the city—a large sanctuary home to all kinds of birds of prey. Damian’s eyes lit up the moment he stepped out of the car. He’d been talking about visiting this place for months now, and even though he’d never admit it, he was thrilled.
“Impressed?” you asked with a grin.
Damian looked away, trying to mask his excitement. “It’s acceptable.”
You exchanged a knowing look with Jason, who just shook his head with a laugh. “He’ll be bouncing off the walls in no time,” Jason whispered to you, and you playfully nudged him as the three of you made your way inside.
The hours passed peacefully. Damian immersed himself in learning about the birds, engaging in long conversations with the caretakers and volunteers about falconry and raptor behaviors. Jason stayed by your side, his hand occasionally brushing against yours, a quiet smile always playing on his lips as he watched Damien be... well, Damian.
“I think he’s actually enjoying himself,” Jason mused quietly as Damien watched a golden eagle take flight.
“Of course, he is,” you replied, leaning into Jason a little. “He may act tough, but he’s still a kid.”
Jason hummed in agreement, his arm slipping around your waist as the two of you stood there in a comfortable silence, watching Damian.
As the three of you left the aviary later in the afternoon, the sun beginning to set, you passed a family with a young child in tow. The mother, smiling brightly, looked over at the three of you and said, “Oh, you have such a cute family! Reminds me of my own when we first came here.”
You blinked, slightly caught off guard, but before you could respond, Jason froze beside you. He didn't say anything, but you felt his grip on your hand tighten, the tension in his body suddenly palpable.
The woman continued on her way, none the wiser to the storm of emotions that her innocent comment had stirred.
Jason didn’t speak for a few moments, but you could tell something had shifted. His usually calm and teasing demeanor had faded into something more serious, his expression distant. Damian, thankfully, was already distracted with something else and hadn’t noticed.
“Jay?” you asked softly, stopping and turning to face him. “You okay?”
Jason’s gaze lingered on the sidewalk for a second longer before he looked up at you, his eyes searching yours as if trying to find the right words. He swallowed, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly. “Yeah, I’m fine, babe. It’s just... what that woman said.”
You tilted your head, gently encouraging him to continue.
“The whole... family thing,” Jason said, his voice unusually quiet. “It just... caught me off guard, I guess. I never really thought about it before. Having... a family.”
The weight of his words settled between you both, and you could see the vulnerability behind his eyes, something Jason rarely let anyone see. For all the bravado and snark he carried, there were parts of him—damaged, fragile parts—that still grappled with his past, his death, and his complex relationship with Bruce.
You reached out and cupped his cheek, thumb gently tracing his skin. “What are you feeling, Jay?” you asked softly, knowing better than to push him too hard.
He closed his eyes for a moment, leaning into your touch as if grounding himself. When he opened them again, his expression was calmer, but his emotions were still raw. “It’s not that I’m scared of it. I’m not freaked out about the idea of having a family with you.” He paused, searching for the right words. “It’s... more like, I didn’t know how much I wanted that. Until now.”
Your breath caught slightly at his admission. Jason wasn’t someone who easily allowed himself to be vulnerable. His life had been filled with pain and loss, and the idea of stability—of a family—was something that had always seemed out of reach for him. But now, in this quiet moment, he was letting himself feel it. The possibility. The hope.
You smiled gently, brushing a lock of hair away from his face. “You’d be a great dad, you know that, right?”
Jason let out a quiet, almost disbelieving laugh. “Yeah? You think so?”
“I know so.”
He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into his chest, his lips brushing your forehead as he held you close. You could feel the rapid beat of his heart beneath his jacket, his breath warm against your skin.
Damian, noticing you two lagging behind, turned around and raised an eyebrow. “Are you two seriously having a moment right now?”
Jason chuckled, releasing you but keeping his arm draped over your shoulders. “Relax, demon spawn. Just figuring out if you’d make a good big brother one day.”
Damian’s eyes widened, and he scowled. “Tt, not even funny.”
You laughed, ruffling Damian’s hair as you caught up with him. “You’d be a great big brother, too, Damian. Imagine all the little bird lessons you could teach.”
Damian rolled his eyes but didn’t deny it, a tiny smirk playing at his lips as the three of you made your way back to the car.
As you drove home, the quiet of the evening settled over you all. Jason’s hand found yours again, giving it a gentle squeeze. You glanced over at him and saw a new warmth in his gaze—one that promised something deeper, more enduring. A future neither of you had quite imagined before.
And for the first time, Jason allowed himself to feel something other than fear when he thought about that future. Instead, he felt hope.

It was also something to prepare for with the new changes that came to this year’s ball. Character: John Price x F!Wife!Reader. Kate Laswell. Word Count: 2,190 Chapter Warnings: None. Author's Note: this was also supposed to be for @glitterypirateduck's O'Captain challenge but my appendix had other plans for me this past few days. Lol.
Inspired by this song (obviously)

“Darling.” You couldn’t help but smile at your husband’s pained groan.
With a red backless dress, you know you would turn heads with your outfit and even more certain that your husband would be killing a few men if you weren’t too careful about him.
“Behave.” You pulled away from him as soon as you felt his hands hold onto the small of your exposed back. You turned to face him, seeing him so handsome in his ceremonial uniform, an upgrade since his new promotion.
“I don’t think I can see myself behaving with you looking so ravishing.” He muttered approaching you again and pulling you into another kiss, allowing him this one time since you have yet to put your make up on. “Will this be a problem for tonight?” He playfully warned.
“If you keep your hands to yourself it won’t.” You playfully pointed out pecking him on the lips one last time before turning your attention back to your vanity mirror to put on your makeup. “I’m surprised that you actually plan on coming to this year’s event. I’d expect you to just stay home after the last mission.” You pointed out.
Behind the bravado and the handsome uniform your husband had on, was a broken but healing man that just got back from a mission. A few scrapes and bruises you all know too well were hidden perfectly well, but the black eyes was something that would take more than an ice pack and makeup to actually cover.
“Better to be there to see what those muppets have planned.” He grumbled.
You had accidentally let it slip that there was going to be an auction for this year’s event and you had volunteered to be part of the auction. A simple date that you were certain meant absolutely nothing but it was for a great cause and you couldn’t really fault them with.
Your husband was still apprehensive about the fact, especially knowing that no one was made aware of your relationship to each other. Everyone was given the fact that you were both good friends that had been on countless missions together. It was nothing but friendship between the two of you if you were ever spotted in town together even when the both of you knew it was something more.
“It’s just one date, even Kate is joining along.” You tried your best to reassure him but it wasn’t happening whatsoever with the deep frown resting on his lips.
“Just because I agreed to this doesn’t mean I’m happy about it.” He muttered under his breath, finally resigning by your decision, which you were thankful for. No need for you to try to convince him with anything.
“You owe me for this. I need some kind of motivation for tonight not to blow someone’s head.” He muttered.
And you spoke too soon.
“How about a day or two in that ritzy cabin you’ve been pestering me about for weeks now.” You offered.
One thing you truly hated was being too out of touch with society if you could avoid it. You have to do it for work, you weren’t so keen on doing it in your personal time if you didn’t have to. But your husband just was a recluse when he wants to be and this was one of those many instance that he will have his way.
“Deal and the ring stays on so they know you’re mine.” He muttered.
You smiled, lifting your hand up for him to see the sparkle of your engagement and wedding ring still nestled on your finger. Even without him saying it, you wouldn’t even dream of removing it.
~
The newly promoted Captain John Price should have been at the top of the world because of his new title, but it was far from the reality of it as he watched his beloved wife continue to mingle amongst both officials and fellow soldiers. It still shook him to the core how someone like you could command yet bring comfort to anyone that was privileged to be in your presence.
But that was just what made him love you so much. How someone like you, a Lieutenant to his own position as a Sergeant would never once use your position to demean him or treat him as anything less than you were. Some may say your call sign as Rookie to be an insult, a way to make you less than what you truly were, but you proved time and time again that it was a reassurance to anyone lower than you that you will stand on equal footing as them if the need arises especially on missions.
“Rookie’s already stealing the spotlight.”
John turned his attention to one unfortunate woman he had the misfortune of meeting in his life that turned his whole world upside down. Kate Laswell was an intelligent woman—far too much for her own good at times but she was the best of the best in her line of work. She was one of the main reasons why he was placed in a mission that ended with him finally climbing the ranks.
“As she should.” John agreed, subtle in his comments as to avoid anyone, especially Laswell from thinking anything was going on between the two of you.
“I still can’t believe she refused the promotion.” She continued taking a swig at the whiskey she was cradling, only bringing a craving for one in John himself.
“I’ve heard. I don’t think she’d be a good fit with the paperworks from the looks of it.” He added.
Of course he knew the very reason why you had refused the promotion on your own end. You were in all accounts a better fit than him to become a Captain, a rank that had been a well-deserved position for everything you’ve done but every single time the topic would be brought up you had threatened retirement or AWOL if anyone pushes. You never truly saw yourself as someone that would be working behind the desk, you couldn’t help and navigate dealing with officials, you admit you were never built for such capabilities.
“I believe she is. You should have seen her chew on Shepherd during the last mission. She’s got guts and a heart that not something you see in the field often.”
He nodded, that was what made you special. He watched you now begin a lengthy conversation with the well-known and very much feared soldier Ghost. How you had been the only one to hold a conversation and not trembled at the sight of the monster of a killing machine.
“Why am I not even surprise with her.” He chuckled turning his attention away from you and turning towards Laswell. “So, are we just gonna spend the entire night talking about Rookie?”
“That’s not much of an issue for you Captain.” Laswell smirked knowingly.
“Will I ever live that down?” He questioned, jokingly.
He was once again reminded of the time in his drugged state where he was delirious enough to propose to you after a mission gone wrong. To many it was just him too drugged from painkillers but for you it was an intentional proposal that you accepted once you were alone.
“You’re never gonna escape the allegations, John. I will never allow it.” Laswell smirked finally excusing herself when the MC has begun.
He made his way to this designated table, his eyes always following you. He watched as you made your way backstage to prepare for the auction later on tonight. It brought the never ending dread in the pit of his stomach as the staff began distributing the auction paddle around, accepting his own without an ounce of hesitation.
It will be a long night that much he has come to realize.
~
“One Thousand!”
You had faced so much trials and tribulation during your career in the military. The vile and often times immoral acts that was placed against you during interrogations and kidnapping, but nothing in your life could have given you more shame than to be standing in front of the stage as numerous bids have been placed upon your name.
Your eyes had been following along to the numerous of individuals that were bidding, some were colleagues your husband had been all too certain had hots for you, others were top officials that you were more than certain were pigs for involving themselves in the date auction knowing they were married, then there were the guests that had been leering at you all night long.
Maybe your husband was right, the auction was a big mistake.
Your eyes scanned the entire room until they met the familiar eyes of your husband. The reassurance had settled on his eyes as much as the annoyance but he was waiting for you to give him the signal.
Somehow with a simple nod it was all he needed to do to raise the paddle and his booming voice had silence everyone.
“Ten thousand.” His voice had everyone turning.
It was one of the highest bids for the night and it just had to be from the man himself. The rest of the night had been a blur, after the auction and countless of formalities and empty conversations, you had found yourself in the arms of your husband as he helped you back onto the car.
“You alright?” He inquired cupping your cheeks the moment he had helped you with your seatbelt.
“Will get better.” You assured him grounding yourself back to reality as he patted your cheeks and driving the two of you back to your shared apartment.
The car ride was silent, the event with the auction still playing in your head. It could go so wrong in many ways if your husband did not intervene. It was supposed to be for a good cause, but it did not feel like it when you stood in front of the stage. You felt more like meat being prepared to be slaughtered.
Eventually you two had arrived back. Your husband opened the car for you and led you back to you to your apartment. The silence was consuming you more than you expected it to.
“Want to sober up or not?” Your husband inquired.
You turned to look at him as he made his way to the kitchen.
“Sober up would be great right now.” You sighed following him to the kitchen, hopping onto the barstool by the kitchen island. Toeing off your heels in the process, an unintentional moan escaped your lips from the relief on your feet.
“I haven’t done anything yet and you’re already moaning, My Love?” He teased placing a mug of coffee in front of you, from the smell alone you were all too certain was too bitter for your taste.
“Play your cards right and maybe I’ll be the one to make you moan all night.” You quipped right back, cupping the mug and relief of the warmth washing away the events of the night.
“Don’t threaten me with a good time.” He smirked turning towards your mini bar and pour himself a hefty pour of whiskey.
“Surprised you didn’t threatened anyone at the party.” You pointed out.
“I could do lots of things, but I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle for either of us.”
You nodded, watching him unbutton his uniform and sit beside you. Your head immediately finding their way onto his shoulder.
“I’ll pay you back what you paid for the auction.” You promised him.
“You would do no such thing.” He ordered. “You’re worth every pretty penny I’ve paid for tonight.”
You blushed at his words. Even in the years of being with the man, he still has his way of turning you into the girl that had always had a crush on the handsome gruff all only had eyes for you.
Your eyes turned towards your hand, the sparkle of your rings was always present and never once did you remove them even at the party. You wanted to keep your relationship private but never a secret and there are days that you wished to let the world know. But now with his new promotion and you having to lead yet another mission with the help of him now, you doubt it would be a good thing to do.
“You’re too sweet to me sometimes, even after how shitty the night turned out.”
“Nothing shitty about tonight. I get to see you all dressed up and all eyes on you knowing you’re gonna come home to me tonight and do whatever their empty little heads could formulate.”
You rolled your eyes cupping his cheeks and move him slightly too pull him into a kiss that you had desperately wanted to give him all night long. The taste of whiskey brought a sudden thrill through your core.
“Plan on showing it to me, Captain?” You purred and the way his eyes blew out, it was all notification you needed to know as you were unceremoniously lifted into his arms.
Whoever thought your husband had a Captain Kink?

“Y/N. Come on out.” Touya called, looking around your room. He had been searching the whole house for you, ready to hit the road. He convinced their father to let him quit training early to take you trick or treating. Mom offered to take you, but Touya didn’t want to miss seeing you in your Halloween costume. Plus he could train twice as hard tomorrow, so it wasn’t a complete loss. “All the Halloween candy is going to be gone if we don’t leave soon. Come on out.” He was about to walk out when he heard your tiny giggle. So you were in here. “Hmm, where, oh where, could you be?”
“Boo!” You shouted, jumping out of the closet. How cute, you were dressed as a little rabbit. The body of the costume was composed of white fluff to ensure you’d be warm throughout the night. With long ears and a puffy tail, to finish the look off, you even had drawn-on whiskers and a pink nose. Your costume perfectly capturing your small innocent nature. Touya couldn’t help but grin.
“Ahh!” He screamed, throwing his hands up in surrender as he faked surprise, “Wow, you scared me.”
“Did I really?” You asked, eyes wide with excitement.
“Yep. Now come on.” He held out his hand and you eagerly grabbed it, your tiny feet frantically pattering against the floor, trying to keep up with his bigger steps, your jack-o-lantern tight in hand as your excitement grew. “Bye everyone we’re leaving,” Touya shouted, not expecting a response.
“Nooo,” you whined tugging him back in the house.
“What’s the problem little, bunny? Forget something?”
“No, big brother Sho, is coming.”
“No, it’s just me, so let-”
“No! Mama said.” This was the first time he had heard of this. It was only supposed to be you and him. Why the fuck was Shoto coming? He already has the attention of father and the whole family, did he really have to steal you away too? His audacity was starting to piss Touya off.
“Sorry, I’m here.” Shoto’s steady voice cut in. He was dressed as a vampire, hair slicked back, a cape, paired with some fake fangs, and a jack-o-lantern mirroring your own. Touya felt your hand slip from his own once you saw Shoto. Running over to him with a big grin plastered on your face.
“Wow! Cool costume, Sho. Are you ready to go?”
“Yes, I’m ready.” He stated in response.
To say Touya was not happy would be an understatement. He was pissed. This was supposed to be his time with you, a rare break from the constant grind of training. Now he was stuck sharing it with Shoto. Every time you called out his name. Every time you talked to him. Every time you tugged him over to a new house eager to get more candy his anger continued to simmer.
The night dragged on like this, with the roads getting darker and darker until the only thing lighting the path were street lights and lit-up jack-o-lanterns. Your tiny feet began to falter, and Touya could see your energy waning. “Y/N,” Touya began, “It’s way past your bedtime, and you can barely walk anymore. It’s time to go home.”
“Nooo, I’m almost done. I just want to go to a few more houses,” you yawned, barely even able to grip his hand anymore. Your jack-o-lantern had already fallen out of your palm repeatedly, to the point where Touya volunteered to hold it on your behalf. Anyone could tell you were well past exhausted, it just seemed you yourself hadn't gotten the memo yet.
“You can’t even stand up straight,” he said, rolling his eyes as he scooped you into his arms. “Come on, little bunny. You’re done for the night.” You didn’t even have the energy to protest. Your head gently resting against his shoulder. The only sounds coming from you were small mumbles that couldn’t even be comprehended as words, followed by soft breaths as you let yourself fall asleep in his arms.
The two brothers started back home, the only sound being their unsynced footsteps against the sidewalk before Touya broke the silence.
“Why did you come?” It was a question that could’ve been labeled as general curiosity, but the disdain in his voice made it clear that he saw his brother's presence as an unwanted nuisance.
“Y/N wanted me to.” He stated calmly
“Bullshit. Y/N’s wanted you to come trick or treating with the two of us every year since Mom stopped coming. Every year I tell you to kick rocks, and every year you do, but not this year. So I’ll ask again… Why did you come?”
Shoto was quiet for a moment. As if debating on whether he should tell the truth or not before speaking up. “Mom wanted me to. She thinks you're too overprotective of Y/N, and she's worried that we don’t spend enough time together. She thought this would be a good bonding experience.”
Touya almost wanted to laugh over the stupidity of this plan. The overprotective comment didn’t come as a surprise in any way. In fact, he was well aware of his mother's opinion on the way he cares for you. She had brought it up to him on multiple occasions, but truth be told he really didn’t care. The woman was incapable of protecting her children and he was proof of that, so in what world would he leave Y/N in her hands? As for Shoto, did his mother truly think that one night together would cure his lifelong disdain for his younger brother? There aren’t enough Halloweens in a lifetime for that to happen.
“Our time spent together will be spent training under our father and nothing more. Next year, you're not coming, I don't care what mom says. Training has been taking over my entire schedule, and I refuse to spend what little time I have with Y/N shared with you.”
Shoto sighed, “It’s not like it's a competition, Touya. I’m her brother too. It’s okay if she loves us both.”
Touya’s jaw clenched at Shoto's words.
“You’re wrong. It is a competition, and it’s one I’m sure as hell not going to lose to you. I’ll make sure of that”

— a lot of reserved feelings | buddy & monkey: double the trouble - the prequel
so i got an anon hc asking about how monkey be with lia at the start and this is the result of it.
thank you to @alotofpockets and @lvnleah for the help and support with this one!
“Why do I need to stay with her? I’m fine by myself!” You shouted in annoyance through the house, making your feelings perfectly well clear.
You weren’t happy about this decision at all.
“Because I said so,” The blonde was quick to reply.
You scowled at the blonde across from you and let out a loud huff, “That’s not a proper reason though!”
“It’s the reason I’m giving you and I’ve made my final decision about it now, so I don’t want to hear anymore whining about it, alright?” Leah told you, sternly.
You were definitely not in agreement about this whole idea, but apparently you didn’t get a say in these things.
The whole idea of being left alone with people other than Leah, Jordan and Kim made you feel anxious and you really didn’t like it, not one bit.
Usually if you had to stay with anyone other than Leah and Jordan, it would be Kim, however due to her making other plans, it meant that she was unavailable to do so this time.
So, unfortunately for you, Lia volunteered instead.
It’s not that you didn’t like the woman, after all she was your team mate and she was nice, but you just didn’t know her well enough to not have your guard up around her.
Therefore the reason you weren’t happy about it.
“Look, I know you’re not happy about this kid, but just go along with this one, will you?” Jordan spoke up, trying to keep the peace in the house between you and Leah.
“I don’t see why I have to stay with Lia– I’m perfectly capable of staying home alone!” You still continued to further insist against the idea, “I don’t even know her that well!”
“Lia is nice and she’s part of the team, so it’ll be good to hang out with her other than through the club, won’t it?” Jordan still tried her luck to get you to agree to this one, “Come on, I know you don’t like this but just agree to this time, yeah? Just to put the pregnant lady’s stress at bay in the meantime.” She joked, trying to keep the mood in the room light.
“Fine, whatever. I still don’t like it though!” You made your feelings perfectly valid that you were definitely not happy about this, but if it meant keeping Leah stress free with her due date around the corner then you would go along with it.
"Monkey! Lia's here, are you going to come downstairs and say hello?" You heard Leah shout from downstairs to get your attention.
"Guess I got no choice," You thought to yourself, not bothering to move from your bed where you had bundled yourself in a blanket and made yourself comfy watching a marvel film.
Could it be worse?
"Hey kid," Jordan poked her hear around your bedroom door, "Lia's here now, so we're gonna be going soon." She explained.
You peered to look at her from where you lay on your bed, "I know, I just heard Leah shout upstairs to me."
"You gonna come and say hi then?" The older women wondered, hoping that you would be a bit more willing to come downstairs than you have been since you heard about it overall.
"Do I have a choice about it?" You remarked, more than aware you most likely did not.
Jordan shrugged her shoulders in response, "Well I guess it would be polite to at least say hello to her kid."
"Fine, alright then," You couldn't help but huff, pausing the film and slump of your bed to make your way downstairs to see Leah and Lia having a conversation between them.
"Are you sure you don't mind watching her?" You overheard Leah question as she moved slowly round the house to make sure she had everything she needed for their night out.
"No, it's not a problem at all. I'm happy to help out when needed!" Lia replied, taking her coat off and making herself at home.
You could see Leah giving the woman a weary smile, "Only if you're sure about this? Monkey can tend to be a bit reserved around people that she doesn't know that well." She explained, briefly.
"I wouldn't have offered if I wasn't sure about it, Le," Lia chuckled slightly and shook her head, "I'm sure I can handle a teenager for a few hours!"
"You know I can hear you, right?" You quipped, walking down the stairs to make your presence known, "I already said I didn't need a babysitter, but none of you would listen." You added, still continuing to make your feelings known about this.
"Ah, here's the menace," Leah joked, spotting you appear down the stairs with Jordan behind her, "You know we just feel more reassured if you had someone here with you, Monkey." She explained, trying to make her reasoning a bit more clearer.
You resisted the urge to roll your eyes and huffed once again, "You worry too much, I'd be fine!"
The blonde clicked her tongue in disapproval, "Well what you call me worrying is what I call myself caring," She stated as she picked up her purse, "Lia is here to take care of you so please don't be giving her a hard time about this, alright?"
"Fine, whatever," You grumbled in protest.
Jordan nudged your shoulder slightly and smiled at you, "Come on kid, we talked about this, didn't we? Just stay here with Lia for us and don't make a fuss about it," She tried her luck to get you to be more willing again to agree, "Just do it for Leah's peace of mind, eh?" She reminded you.
"Anythin' to save the wrath of a pregnant women," You remarked cheekily, rolling your eyes.
"Exactly, you know how protective she is and especially this late at night, yeah?" Jordan playfully joked, slinging her arm around your shoulder and having to lean up a bit since you were just that bit taller than her.
You groaned in annoyance and slumped your shoulders, "Ugh alright, fine, but I'm still not happy with this though!"
"Good girl," Leah walked back in on the tail end of the conversation and pressed a gentle kiss on the top of your head, "Alright, we shouldn't be back too late. Remember to go to bed at a reasonable time, alright?" She reminded you.
"I'm not a child," You grumbled in response.
"Yes you are," The blonde chuckled and ruffled your hair, "Bed at a sensible time and don't be staying up too late, alright?" She repeated.
"Yeah yeah, fine alright," Begrudgingly you agreed to save an argument, although you sometimes found it hard to sleep and you didn't know exactly how well you'd be sleep without familiar people in the house.
"That's my girl," Leah stated, lightly kissing you on the top of your head again, "Have fun!" She waved, heading out of the front door.
"Sure, mandatory fun. It sounds somewhat wonderful," You sarcastically remarked, sticking your hands in your pockets, "Buh-bye now!" You waved goodbye to them both.
"Thanks again for watching her tonight Lia," Jordan thanked the women with a kind smile, "I hope she doesn't give you too much of a hard time." She joked, motioning to you where you awkwardly stood in front of the stairs.
"Please, I'm delightful!" You insist, trying to make it seem like your fine with this when your definitely most not.
You felt nervous and you really didn't like this at all.
"I'm sure we'll have fun," Lia chuckled, sending you a small smile, "Have fun you two!" She said, waving them both off as they left the house.
"So then, what is it that you like to do when your not playing football?" Lia questioned, being the first to break the silence in the room between the two of you.
Shrugging your shoulders in response, you barely acknowledge Lia, "I watch movies and stuff."
"Oh," Lia's facial expression turned to surprised, "Is there one that you would like to watch?" She wondered, you guess somewhat hopeful you'd take her up on the idea of that.
"No, I'm fine," You disagreed, shaking your head.
You didn't feel safe, you just wanted to bury yourself under your duvet cover and shelter away in safety.
You knew Lia but it didn't mean you felt comfortable with her.
You couldn't help but have your walls up again with a complete stranger practically, since you only know her from being a part of the club.
"Okay then, that's alright if you don't want too. Is there anything that you do want to do?" Lia wondered, trying to figure out how best to interact with you.
You shook your head in disagreement again, "Nope."
"Alright then, well if you change your mind--" Lia began to speak until you abruptly cut her off.
"Why are you here?" You snapped at the older woman.
Lia looked taken back at your sudden change of mood, "I'm here so you're not alone, Monkey. Leah told you that already though." She explained, frowning slightly.
Shaking your head, you furrowed your eyebrow and began to pace the floor, "I don't get why you're here-- I already told them that I don't need a babysitter!" You exclaimed, loudly.
"I'm sure they just want to know you have someone here with you, you know?" Lia tried to be a voice of reason, however, she wasn't exactly sure what to do in this situation right now.
"I don't need you here... I don't! I am perfectly fine to take care of myself, I don't need anyone checking up on me either!" With that, you stomp off back in the direction of the stairs and leave Lia sat downstairs dumbfounded.
"Why are you allowing me to just ignore you while you're here?" You murmured, wandering down the stairs a few hours later in the night to see Lia sat watching a television program quietly.
Lia paused the TV and looked directly at you, "Well if you think that me ignoring you is what you need then who I am to stand in the way of that?" She wondered.
"Yeah well, you can go home. You don't need to stay here," You told her, firmly because you still didn't understand why she was still here.
Why hadn't she left?
You had found the comfort of your bedroom, your type of safe haven, but yet you still couldn't help but wrap the idea of Lia willingly let you ignore her for the past several hours that she has been here.
It didn't make a whole lot of sense, did it?
"I'm here because I care about you Monkey," Lia told you sincerely, "I also understand that you need space and me pushing you won't help that."
You didn't miss a chance to roll your eyes, "You don't even understand how I feel!"
"I'm far from perfect myself and I do remember being a teenager, so I know that me trying to yell at you or even trying to force to you talk won't solve anything, would it?" Lia questioned, trying to keep the situation from getting too tense.
"Oh, you think you're so wise, huh?" You couldn't help but scoff, "Just because you're older, you think you know everything about how I feel?" You questioned, trying to figure out where you would hit a nerve.
You don't mean to push buttons, but you did wonder how much could you say to push her away?
You don't know whether you could trust her right now or not, there's one way to find out.
Lia shook her head in disagreement, "No, I don't know everything but I am trying to be here for you in a way that you need." She explained, honestly.
"You're not doing a great job of it, so maybe you should just leave if you can't handle it," You still continued to try and rile the woman up, trying to figure out how much further you could push her.
"You think I can't handle it? I've dealt with worse than a frustrated teenager," Lia had an amused expression on her face, "I'm here because I care about you, no matter how hard you find that hard to believe, alright?"
Right there and then, you felt too stunned to speak about things.
"If you want to try and push me away then go ahead but I'm still going to be here for you," The older woman stated, gently as she gave you a reassuring smile, "No matter how long it takes for you to trust me, Monkey. I won't leave you alone." She added.
With Lia's words fresh in the back of your head, you couldn't help but wonder if she actually was being truthful about what she said.
"I wouldn't blame you if you did want to leave, you know? I haven't exactly been that nice to you tonight," You spoke up, shuffling from one sock clad foot to the other as you fumbled with her hands.
Lia gave you another sympathetic smile, "Your a teenager, Monkey. I take no offence to it. Like I said before, I'm not going to leave you." She repeated her words.
"Why not? Other people have, you wouldn't be any different to do the same," You can't help but wonder why she hasn't indeed left, like so many other people have done in the past.
"I can understand why you don't trust easily and it's okay to have your guard up," The older woman explained honestly, "But I want you to know that you can trust me, I know I haven't known you for as long as Leah and Jordan have, but I do care about you." She added.
"You do?" You looked at her in complete surprise.
Lia nodded in agreement and smiled, "Yes, I do. Not just as my team mate but as a person."
You feel like there's a small piece of you that can begin to trust Lia know, a sense of knowing that if there is something wrong that the woman would listen to you and have your back about it.
Maybe Lia is a safe person then?
"Lia," You murmured quietly, waiting for her acknowledgement, "Would you uh, would you maybe like to watch a film?" You questioned, hesitantly.
Lia beamed a wide smile, "I would love to watch a movie with you, Monkey. Which one would you like to watch?" She wondered.
"Really? Awesome!" You all but flopped onto the sofa beside her as she passed you the remote, "Have you ever watched Shrek?" You questioned.
"No, I haven't," Lia replied, confused at the movie title.
You spun your head around to look at her and gasped, "What?! You... You've never watched Shrek?!" You questioned in disbelief, "You have to see it, I'm puttin' it on, right now!" You insisted.
"Okay if you insist," The older woman chuckled in amusement as she briefly checked the time on her watch, "How about you and change into your pajamas and I'll make us some hot chocolate for when you come back?" She suggested when she realised that you were still in the clothes from the day.
"Hot chocolate?" Your eyes did light up at the mention of that, you were an absolute sucker for them, "With whipped creams and marshmallows, right?" You double checked with her.
"It wouldn't be a proper one without it, would it?" Lia joked, patting your knee lightly, "Go on upstairs and I'll start to make them." She told you, gesturing in the direction of the stairs.
You didn't have to be told twice as you dipped off upstairs to get changed into comfy pajamas, before dragging one of the fluffy blankets you have collected back down the stairs into the living room to get settled on the sofa while Lia finished making the hot chocolates.
"That was quick," Lia smiled as she walked back into the living room with 2 steaming mugs of hot chocolate in her hands, "Eager for the hot chocolate, huh?" She teased you lightly.
"Duh its' hot chocolate!" You exclaimed, reaching out eagerly for it from the Swiss woman's hands, "I can't believe you haven't watched Shrek before. You need to educate yourself!"
Lia chuckled and settled back on the sofa beside you, "Well you'd better show me what it's all about then, eh?" She joked with you.
"Be prepared to amazed then," You were determined to leave an impression with this film as you scouted through the TV to find it as it began as the familiar dreamwork logo appeared on the screen.
"How many times have you watched this film then?" Lia wondered, laughing in amusement as she saw you literally bouncing up and down in your seat, "I feel I should be concerned with how excited you are."
"Sh, it's starting!" You butted in as the film started to play to stop her talking any longer, "No talkin'!" You declared, firmly.
You didn't waste the time to bop along to the music at the start, all but leaning forward to watch it for what was probably the hundredth times.
"This is the part where you run away," You whisper the words from the start of the movie, Lia just watched you and shook her head in amusement, "I'm not a puppet. I'm a real boy!"
The two of you watched the movie, of course you yapped on the whole way through reciting the movie quotes as you were so familiar with and Lia was just happy to see you slowly opening up to her.
"Hey, wait a minute! I got a great idea! I'll stick with you!" You exclaimed loudly still continuing to speak the movie quotes aloud, "I like that boulder, that is a nice boulder."
"So, have many times have you watched it now?" Lia repeated her question in amusement, shaking her head in complete amusement until you scowled at her, "Alright, noted. I'll stop talkin' until it finishes." She joked.
You nod in agreement as you continued to watch the film, "We can stay up late swapping manly stories and in the morning, I'm making waffles!" You repeated it again, word for word, "WhAt ArE yOu DoIn' In My SwAmP!?"
"Do you know all the words to this-- Alright, right, got it. No talking, I remember," Lia couldn't help but laugh and held her hands up in mock protest when she saw the dirty scowl you still continued to give her.
Despite your excitement, you still didn't manage to make it through the first film before a wave of exhaustion washed over you and you found yourself trying to fight to stay awake.
Even though it seemed be impossible to do exactly that.
"Someones' getting tired, huh?" Lia joked, watching you as you tried to keep your eyes pried open, "How about we turn the film off and you head up to bed?" She suggested.
"Nuh-uh, its' not over yet!" You protested against the idea, literally shuffling your body to lean up against hers, "M' not even that tired yet."
"I don't think that's true is it?" Lia remarked, stifling her laughter but allowed you to curl up beside her.
"Yer don't know what yer talkin' about!" You grumbled as you continued to fight to stay awake, all but resting your head on her chest as the older woman smiled and without much thinking started to thread her fingers through your hair.
It did work wonders to make you fall asleep through as less then 10 minutes all that could be heard is the sound of your soft snores.
"That worked a charm," Lia thought to herself as she still continued to her fingers through your hair.
Really the woman thought it would be best to move you to your bed but you looked so peaceful asleep, and from what she heard previously you hadn't been sleeping all that well the past few nights so you could do well so probably get some sleep.
It wasn't all that long before a key was heard turning in the door before Leah and Jordan stumbled through the door from their night at the awards ceremony.
"Hi, we're back," Leah whispered aloud, more than aware you were fast asleep upstairs or so she thought at least, not realizing that you were in fact downstairs on the sofa instead as she unfastened the straps on her shoes.
"Hi, we're in here," Lia's voice quietly spoke out to the two women, careful to not jolt you awake from your deep slumber.
"Hello," Jordan's voice whispered through the house as she unfastened her shoes and followed Leah into the living room.
"How's she been-- Oh, I didn't realise she was asleep down here," Leah tried to speak quieter than previous as she smiled softly at your sleeping state, "Has she been out long?"
"About half an hour now. I thought she might've stirred though when she heard you both come home," Lia admitted to the two women, shifting carefully to avoid you waking up still.
Jordan smiled and took note of the television, "Oh I see she's got you watching Shrek, she loves them films," She chuckled, shaking her head in amusement, "Did she recite it word for word?" She questioned.
Lia laughed and nodded in agreement, "Oh yes, I got a few scowls when I tried to talk." She told them.
"That doesn't surprise me," Leah laughed in response and peered down to look at you, "She looks comfy, I didn't expect her to be curled up to you. Thank you for looking after her tonight, has she been okay?" She wondered, curiously.
"It was a little bit rocky at first but we talked," Lia explained to the blonde defender, "I think she's starting to come around now so that's a start." She added, accepting it would take a while for you to come out of your shell.
"One day at a time," Jordan chipped in as she smiled fondly down at you fast asleep, "I'll wake her up and take her upstairs to bed." She offered, kneeling down beside your sleeping form.
"I think she's completely out of it," Leah chuckled in amusement.
"Monkey, wake up, kid," Jordan gently nudged you to wake you up.
You slowly opened your eyes tiredly as you realised that Jordan and Leah were both back now, "You're back." You murmured in a state of still being half asleep.
"We are," Jordan chuckled, shaking her head in amusement, "Come on, time for bed, kid."
You let out a small groan and stretched a bit before you just stared at her tiredly, "My legs are too tired to walk," You mumbled before you let out a yawn, "I wan' more sleep."
"You can sleep once your upstairs in your own bed," Leah piped in amusedly as she watched you start to close your eyes again, "Bed time, Monkey." She repeated.
"M' fine," You waved them off as you started to shut your eyes once again, "I wan' stay asleep down here cos' I'm comfy." You didn't remember falling asleep where you did on Lia and your pretty sure that if you were more awake you wouldn't be so keen to be virtually lying on top of her but you were in a such tired state that you didn't care at this point.
Jordan chuckled and despite the height difference, your weighed considerably less so she was able to lift you up from Lia and comfortably hold you up in her own arms, "I'm gonna take sleepy head up to bed." She gestured in the direction of the stairs.
"Wait, wait, no... I gotta show Lia the rest of the Shrek movies," You jolted in Jordan's arms as you suddenly realised it and the older woman chuckled, "Can she please stay the night so we can watch them all tomorrow? Pretty pretty pleaseee!" You pleaded with the two older women.
Leah laughed in amusement, "Well that is fine with us, but maybe you should ask Lia first if she'd want too, huh?" She teased you, shuffling past you as she ruffled your hair.
"Lia, will you stay? Please! That way we can watch all the Shrek movies!" You exclaimed, secretly hoping that the women would indeed stay, "Please, please, you have to stay!" You begged and pleaded with her.
"Don't worry, I'll spend the night," Lia smiled and nodded in agreement, "I can't wait to watch the rest of the Shrek movies." She added.
"You'll regret saying that," Leah joked and shook her head, "Right, you, go to bed, its' late." She pointed towards the direction of the stairs before she kissed the top of your head.
"The night is still early," You grumbled in protest, fighting to stay awake in Jordan's arms, "We could even make time to watch another film!"
"I don't think so, there'll be plenty of time to watch more tomorrow," The blonde stated in disagreement as she laughed, "Sweet dreams, Monkey."
You let another yawn escape your mouth unwillingly, "Night Le, night Lia!" You murmured, the exhaustion taking over you once again as you rested your head on Jordan's shoulder as you felt you move up the stairs, "Can't wait for the Shrek marathon tomorrow!"

The Candy Man- Part Five//W.W.
Information: lots of fluff Warning: adult (Willy) breastfeeding sorry not sorry, also mention of sex and sperm
You and Willy were definitely surprised when you gave birth to twins: a boy and a girl. It was only fitting to give them sweet flavor names. Your baby boy was named Mocha, and your little girl was named Maple.
Maple and Mocha Wonka. You were so in love and so proud to be their mom. They were both perfectly healthy, and dark headed like their daddy. You felt so blessed.
After the birthing session was over, you could tell that the whole “producing twins the first time he had sex” thing was really stroking Willy’s ego. “I can’t believe this, darling.” he said, holding one of the babies in his arms, he got close to you, whispering so the midwife wouldn’t hear, “Twins! Honey, I have magic sperm.”
You just laughed at him and shook your head.
Willy sat on the bed with you. Each of you held one of your babies, and you took some time, just admiring the little ones. Willy was in awe of how tiny and beautiful they were.
“They are so perfect, y/n.” he said softly, in total adoration.
“I know. We are so lucky.” you responded, teary eyed. You kissed Willy on the cheek. He, in turn, rested his head on yours.
……
It was not easy adjusting to life with not one, but two newborns. Your parents were supportive of your relationship with Willy, and they were over the moon when it came to being grandparents. They came over from time to time to help and watch the babies while you and Willy took breaks to nap, clean, and cook.
Even Willy’s friends volunteered to help. They had been with Willy from the laundry house to the chocolate shoppe, and now to help care for the Wonka babies. Willy's young friend, Noodle, started developing a special bond with the twins, and it made you both so happy. You were so grateful for all of them, you couldn’t believe the support system surrounding your family.
Besides your wonderful family and friends, Willy was the best with the babies, even better with them than you, you thought. Willy would disagree, but it was true that he had a magical way with them. He could sing them to sleep, even when they were crying. Even with them being so young, they could recognize Daddy's voice, and their little eyes would search the room for him.
Willy was a doting partner; he never left your side. You tried to make up a 'shift' system, where you'd take turns taking care of the babies while the other one slept, but Willy didn't abide by it much. "If you're up caring for our kids, and miserably tired, then I'm right there with you." Your man was truly one of kind.
In the beginning, you had trouble producing enough breast milk for the babies, so Willy would infuse some of his creations to give the babies enhanced nutrients, with giraffe milk as the base, of course. You sent your thanks to Abigail at the zoo. She was given as many Wonka mints as she could eat.
Eventually, the babies started to sleep for longer periods of time, and you started to feel sane again. You had more energy, and you had gotten the hang of breast feeding. It was routine for you and Maple and Mocha now, and they knew to latch on instantly.
Willy was putting away clean baby clothes in the nursery and then sat and waited for you to finish feeding the twins so you both could go to bed. "Willy, you can go on ahead, they should be done soon, and they will go right to sleep." you insisted.
"No, it's alright darling, I don't like getting in bed without you." he said. He was so sweet and honest without expecting anything in return. He didn't say it to get you to fawn over him. And that's why you loved him.
"Honey, I love you, but really, you can go to bed, I'll be there soon."
"Okay," he said with a reluctant sigh, he stood up, watching you feed the babies for a moment.
Your night shirt was unbuttoned, and your breasts were free. Your babies were eating and starting to get full bellies.
"Could I.." Willy began to ask something, and you knew exactly what it was. He looked away, so shyly, saying, "Never mind."
"No, it's alright, what were you going to say, Willy?" you needed to hear him ask it.
"Can I try some of your milk? After the twins are fed, of course, and if you aren't sore." his pretty green eyes were almost desperate as he looked at you so tenderly.
You and Willy hadn't been intimate in nearly three months. Sex wasn't in the question when you were heavily pregnant, unknowingly with twins. You could sense that he missed it, not just the sex, or even getting off, but just being close together and bonding with you. Your relationship had taken a back seat with your new additions.
"Sure you can. But don't go thinking that you can use it to put in your chocolate." you said firmly, giving him a look.
"Oh, no, darling. Of course not!" he assured you, frantically.
You giggled, "Go on to bed, Willy Wonka, and I'll be there in a moment."
"Yes, ma'am." he said cheerily, turning on his heels and heading out of the babies' room.
........
You got the babies to sleep in their cribs and joined Willy in your bedroom. You hadn't bothered to button up your shirt, you just covered yourself with the shirt, as you would have felt strange walking around the house with your tits out. Though you knew Willy wouldn't mind.
"Hi darling." you said, greeting your lover.
Willy grinned as you came over to the bed and climbed onto his lap. He gave you a sweet kiss on the lips and held you close.
You ran your hands slowly through his curls. You kissed him on the forehead.
"Aw, I love your kisses, baby." Willy cooed.
You smiled softly at him, caressing his jaw, "You can have my breasts now if you want some milk."
Willy's eyes lit up, and he uncovered your breasts. He held them for a moment. He squeezed your nipple, and some milk squirted in his face, making you both laugh. He then opened his mouth and put your tit on his tongue, closing his lips around it and sucking your milk out.
You rubbed the back of his head lovingly as he drank from you.
"mm, so yummy, baby." he said as he popped off your nipple and switched to the other one. He drank for a moment, and stopped to squeezed some milk out again, letting the drops wet his face. He marveled at what your body was capable of. He lapped the excess milk off of your nipple.
He fed off of you for a little bit, which was kind of relaxing for you. Then you got settled in to bed, snuggling. You were both pretty tired. He looked so darling, with his lips moistened by the taste of your milk and the look of pure love under his hooded eyes.
"I know I said I wouldn't use your milk while making chocolate, but what if it was just for my own enjoyment? Your milk is so delicious. I can't get enough, my love." he cooed, nuzzling his face into your cheek. His silky hair tickled your face. "Would you spare some for me?" he asked, his voice was soft and muffled.
You laughed, "Okay, you can make your own chocolate with my milk." you said, giving in. It was hard to say know to your sweet boy. "I can't wait for the midwife to say it's okay to have sex again. I want you so bad, Willy." You kissed his head.
"Mmm," he raised his head to peck your lips, "I know, I'm so ready to make love to you again. This time, I'm trying for triplets!" he joked.

WE NEED A ETHAN X READER VALENTINES DAY FLUFF like Ethan delivers flowers to reader and it’s super cute and then she surprises him with something and she texts the girls of the friend group and they hangout and talk about ethan. Then maybe Ethan and reader go out to dinner and he proposes to her? It would just be super cute
Okay, I know there's only an hour left on the east coast for Valentine's Day, but FUCK i was so determined to get this done. I hope you like it:)
Perfectly Perfect - Ethan Landry x Fem!Reader
This one is SUPER CUTE AND FLUFFY.
Part 2
Summary: Your boyfriend planned the best Valentine's Day ever.
Contains: Fluff, the occasional f-bomb.
A/N: I didn't think I was going to finish this, but I surprisingly got it done! Happy Valentine's Day, and if you don't have one, I volunteer as tribute. 💕
When you heard a knock on the door as you were snuggled up in your comforter, you didn’t want to answer it. You checked the time on your phone, seeing that it was only 7am. You put on your robe and walked to the front door of your apartment. You looked out the peephole to see your boyfriend standing there.
“Good morning, beautiful,” he said, as you opened the door.
“I have major bed head and I’m in a robe, I’m sure I look super hot right now,” you joked, noticing he was holding something behind his back. “What do you have?”
You tried to reach around him, but he backed away.
“I’ll give this to you if you admit you’re beautiful,” he smirked, as you rolled your eyes.
“Fine, I’m beautiful.”
“Thank you,” he said, pulling the bouquet of roses out from behind his back. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
“Aww babe, they’re perfect,” you smiled, pulling him into a hug. “Wait! I have something for you, too!”
You ran away from him to go upstairs and grab the gift you had for him. When you came back, you still had the roses in your hand but a box in the other.
“What did you do?” he asked as you handed him the box. He opened it to see the very expensive watch he’d been looking at for months. “Baby, this is too much.”
“You’ve been working so hard. I know you’re probably on your way to work right now…but you mean a lot to me,” you said, as he leaned down to kiss you.
“This is perfect, babe. Thank you,” he said, “But you’re right, I’m about to be late if I don’t leave right now. We’re still on for dinner, right?”
“Of course,” you said, leaning in the doorway.
“I love you,” he said, kissing you again before turning to walk away.
“I love you, too.”
You smiled as you closed the door, sliding down it, absolutely swooning over how sweet Ethan is. You smelled the roses, a silly smile on your face as you stood back up.
You searched for the right vase for it, dying to take a picture to send your friends.
As you sent the photo to the Tara and Mindy group chat, they were so excited for you.
Tara: Since you’re already up, you should shower and come over. I want to do your nails and everything before your date tonight.
You: That date is like, 12 hours away.
Tara: Don’t care. Hurry up.
You: Doesn’t Chad want to spend some time with you?
Tara: He’s going to work soon, but we’re going out after you leave for your date tonight.
You: Okay, see you soon.
You had a regular Monday through Friday job like Ethan, but he begged you to request the day off when you were both home for Christmas. He was hoping he’d get it off, too, but with a major work project being due at the end of the week, he knew there was no way. That’s when he asked Tara to take the day off. He had big plans, and he wanted her to help you get ready for them.
After you showered, you searched your room for something to wear to Tara’s, then the outfit for dinner later in the night. You gasped when you opened the closet, seeing a beautiful dress hanging up.
“How did he get this in here?” you asked yourself, pulling it out and seeing a note attached to it.
‘I wanted you to have something special to wear tonight. I was really hoping you wouldn’t check your closet…I might’ve broken into your apartment yesterday. I love you -E’
You laughed as you read the note. He knew you rarely checked your closet after a long day of work and just pulled a comfy pair of pajamas out of the dresser up against the wall in your room.
You took a picture of the dress and sent it to Tara.
You: What’s up with this?
Tara: Your boyfriend is taking you somewhere nice tonight. Don’t question it.
Tara: Why aren’t you here yet?
You: Getting dressed, be there soon
You decided on some leggings and a sweater, the temperature in February not being exactly the warmest in New York. You still couldn’t believe this was where you all decided to stay after graduating, but there’s so much to do, and you were all able to get decent jobs.
When you pulled up to Tara’s, you struggled to carry the dress, your purse, and the iced coffee you stopped to get on the way. She flung the door open, “This one’s for you,” you said, handing her one of the drinks.
“Are you crazy? What if you would’ve spilt this on the dress?!” She took the dress as well, making you huff.
“Sorry, I’m exhausted. I was planning on sleeping in today, so I binged a new show last night.”
“The coffee should wake you up, let’s go.”
“Seriously, it’s hours away,” you sighed, walking into the living room. “Jesus, are you doing my nails, or giving me a whole fucking makeover?”
You saw the stuff for nails, but you also saw stuff for hair, and so much makeup.
“I wanted us to have options. That’s why I needed you here so early,” she said, hanging the dress up on the opened closet door in the hallway. “So, Romeo showed up with roses for you this morning?” she asked as you flopped onto the couch.
“Yeah, he’s the best,” you smiled, the thought of Ethan making you instantly happy.
You heard the doorbell ring, as Tara went to answer it.
“Awh,” she said, taking flowers from the delivery guy. “Thank you!”
“Those are gorgeous!” you said from your spot on the couch as Tara stood there beaming.
“He just might get laid tonight,” she smirked, sitting the vase down on the counter. “Let’s do your nails!”
You sat there as she pushed your cuticles back and buffed your nails. “Which color do you think will look better with the dress?” she asked, handing you a store bag full of nail polish.
“Why did you buy so many?” you asked, pulling the bottles out and glancing over to the dress.
“Hey, I didn’t. This was all Ethan,” she said, as she continued to work. “He really loves you, ya know?”
“I don’t know how I got so lucky. We’ve been together for almost four years though. At this point, I think I’ll be his girlfriend forever,” you groaned, as Tara held in a laugh for how oblivious you were being.
“Hey, give him time. I know he’ll put a ring on that finger one day,” she said, before looking at the colors. “I think this one looks the best, what do you think?”
“Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, too.”
After Tara finished your nails, Mindy and Anika showed up.
“Hey,” Anika said, pulling you into a hug.
“Hey, guys,” you smiled, happy to see them. “What are you two love birds doing for Valentine’s Day?”
“Well, we were thinking about matching piercings because tattoos are too cliché,” Mindy said, looking over to her girlfriend, “But our appointment isn’t for a few hours, so we wanted to stop by.”
“This is gorgeous!” Anika said, looking at the dress. “That boyfriend of yours has really gone all out today.”
“Yeah, I told him he didn’t have to go crazy with it. If I get to spend time with him, that’s all that matters.”
“That’s why he loves you so much. You don’t expect the world out of him, but he still wants to give it to you,” Tara said, pulling out her phone to order food. “What do you guys want to eat?”
You all decided on a local sandwich shop, not wanting to eat anything too crazy. The last thing you wanted was to feel more sluggish. As you sat at the table with your friends eating, you started to discuss your jobs, and how amazing it was that everyone stayed with their college sweetheart. Chad and Tara broke up once for a few weeks during junior year, but they missed each other too much. They’ve been going strong ever since.
“What time will Ethan get here?” Mindy asked, looking down at her phone.
“I think he said the reservation was for seven, but he’d pick me up from here at six.”
“We need to go to our appointment, but we’ll be back later,” Anika said, standing up.
“You guys should spend time with each other, you don’t have to help me get ready for this crazy dinner that Ethan’s probably going to spend way too much money on,” you said, as Mindy rolled her eyes.
“We have a date later tonight, and we’re leaving now to go do something together. We’ll be back.”
After they left, you checked your phone to see that it was almost two.
“I’m going to shower really quick, then we’ll do your makeup and hair,” Tara said, tossing you the tv remote.
“Seriously, take your time. I feel like you’re freaking out over nothing.”
When Tara made it upstairs, she pulled out her phone to see a text from Ethan.
Ethan: She doesn’t suspect anything, does she?
Tara: No, she has no idea.
Ethan: Perfect. I’m getting off a little early to pick up my suit and get everything ready. I need to run by the restaurant too, but I’ll be there by 6.
Tara: See you then
Tara was only gone for fifteen minutes before she joined you in the living room again.
“What are you watching?” she asked, sitting beside you.
“I don’t know, some cheesy dating show. That one wants to be with that one but she’s still in love with her ex,” you said, explaining what was going on.
“Sounds complicated,” she said, getting invested.
An hour had gone by before Tara jumped up. “Fuck, we still have stuff to do!”
The time it took for her to do your hair and makeup took almost two hours, because you were both still watching the show. She quickly hurried to do hers to get ready for her own date with Chad.
“Where are you two going tonight?” you asked, as she shrugged.
“Somewhere nice. That’s all I know.”
She was lying, thinking about Ethan’s plan. She knew exactly where she was going, and that she was probably going to be crying at the end of the night. She made a mental note to use the waterproof mascara that she used on you.
It was almost time for you to leave, so she helped you into the dress Ethan got for you. “You look beautiful!” she squealed, as you did a little spin for her.
“Yeah, he’s got good taste,” you smiled, before looking at her still in sweatpants. “What are you wearing tonight for your date?”
“Oh, it’s in the closet. I’ll change after Ethan gets here,” she said, when you heard a knock on the door.
Mindy and Anika walked in, showing off the matching rook piercings in their ears. They also had their hair and makeup done as well, but they were in normal clothes.
“I feel so overdressed,” you sighed, as Mindy smirked at Tara.
“Our outfits are in the car,” Anika said, when you heard another knock on the door.
Tara ran over to it, flinging the door open. Your heart pounded as you saw Ethan standing there in a suit that fit him very well.
“Wow,” was all he could say when he walked in and saw you. You ran up to him and hugged him.
“You look so handsome, babe.”
“I wish I could kiss you right now, but I don’t want to mess up the makeup,” he said, before Tara started to speak.
“It’s smudge-proof and long lasting, you can kiss her.”
He wasted no time, leaning down to place his lips on yours.
“You look beautiful,” he said, taking your hand in his. “We better go, I don’t want us to miss our reservation.”
“Bye, guys,” you said, waving.
They said their goodbyes as you walked towards the car. Ethan opened the door for you and shut it after you got inside. You heard a car pull up behind you, and noticed Ethan ran up to the driver’s side door.
“Fuck, Chad. I thought you weren’t going to make it in time,” Ethan said, taking the ring box from him.
“Sorry, dude. We’ll be there soon.”
Ethan slid the box in his pocket before jumping in the driver’s seat. You looked over to his hands on the wheel, noticing him wearing the watch.
“Aww, you’re wearing it,” you said, as he smiled.
“Oh, this? My best friend got it for me,” he said, focusing on driving.
When you made it to the restaurant, he gave the hostess his last name.
“Oh, the private room, right this way,” he said, leading you and Ethan through the restaurant. “We already have champagne for you, and we’re going to bring out water soon. No rush to order, take your time.”
You took in your surroundings, noticing an extra table in the otherwise ‘Private’ area, as the host called it.
“Ethan, baby, you didn’t have to do all this,” you said, feeling a little guilty that he’s probably spent a lot on the night.
“Tonight is special. Don’t feel bad,” he said, taking a sip of the champagne. “You should try yours, it’s so good.”
As the two of you sat and talked as you waited for your food, you saw people in your peripheral vision sit down at the table on the other side of the room. Ethan’s eyes stayed on you, though, because you were so invested in the conversation you were having. He didn’t want to draw attention to the fact that your friends were less than ten feet away.
After you finished eating, you saw Ethan glance over to the other table. Your eyes went wide as you looked over to see your friends, getting up to walk to the table.
“What are you doing here?” you asked, “You guys all look so nice.”
“This was all a part of Ethan’s plan,” Chad said, as you looked confused.
“Yeah, I think you should turn around,” Tara said, a huge smile on her face as a single tear slipped out.
Your heart was pounding in your chest as you saw Ethan down on one knee holding a ring box in his hand. Your hands covered your mouth as your eyes started to water.
“Baby, you mean the world to me. I have no doubt in my mind that you’re the one I’m meant to spend my life with. You made every bad day good, and every good day even better. I love you so much, will you marry me?” he asked, his voice cracking as he spoke.
“Yes!” you said, stepping closer to him. He stood up to hold you in his arms as you both cried.
“Oh shit, I almost forgot,” he said, pulling the ring out of the box and sliding it onto your finger.
His hands went to your waist as he kissed you, as your hands were on his cheeks. Your friends were cheering in the background, all so excited for the two of you.
“Wait,” you said, pulling away and turning back to the other table. “You knew the whole time he was going to do this?!”
“I don’t know how you didn’t pick up on it,” Tara laughed, “But I’m happy I was able to help you get ready for today. And we’re all so happy we could be here tonight.”
“I wouldn’t want this to be any other way,” you said, hugging her. “Thank you.”
Chad high-fived Ethan, congratulating him as everyone talked amongst themselves.
“Hey babe?” Ethan asked, wrapping his arms around you. “I’m sorry I made you wait so long. I knew I wanted to marry you after the first year.”
“It’s okay, I wouldn’t want this any other way,” you smiled, “I love you.”
“I love you, too.”

christmas dinner (trevor zegras)
day 24 of star’s ficmas
trevor zegras x reader
Of course, he would agree to host the team Christmas dinner. Troy had offered to do so, and Gibby did as well, but Trevor was insistent. He didn’t even ask you before volunteering himself. It wasn’t that you didn’t want to host a party, you’d be happy to do anything, hell, when Leo was called up, you had prepped the guest room in an hour, buying little toiletries and attempting a home cooked meal for him,
You’d been living with your boyfriend since the beginning of the season. You loved Trevor very much, but you were not looking forward to the Christmas dinner you were having to host. Trevor wasn’t exactly someone to trust in the kitchen. You weren’t sure why he had been so adamant on hosting this party.
He had picked out the table decor and even took responsibility for ordering the ham. “Trevor babe, can you help please?” you said, arms full of groceries. He immediately jumped up, running to help you. Mason and Jamie sat on the couch. “Hey idiots, grab the groceries from her!”
He quietly helped you with anything. He wasn’t usually quiet like this so it was a bit weird. You couldn’t exactly ask, you didn’t want to make it seem like you were worried about him.
Trevor didn’t exactly stick to his promises, he kept important ones but he was one to wait to the last second for things, procrastinating until it was too late. But this was different. It was like you were getting a new boyfriend.
The Terry Family arrived early, concerned about the four young members and you handling everything by yourselves. Leo had come over already and was helping. “Z, babe, can you get the ham out of the oven?”
Trevor was dressed nicely, in his sweater that you loved. Despite it being hot in Anaheim, everyone was dressed in typical Christmas wear. Jamie and Mason wore flannels and the Terry Family happily matched sweaters. “Yeah, I got it.” Everyone was pretty shocked at how good he was being. When the Gibson family arrived, a new baby in tow, Trevor excitedly greeted them and grabbed onto the new baby.
Jamie and Leo set the table, placing the perfectly folded napkins around, Dani pulled you aside. Trevor was laughing with Mason as the two of them attempted cutting the ham up into slices. “He’s doing good.”
You smiled at Dani. “He wanted this party and our agreement was that he had to help. I think he’s just happy.”
Most of the other guests joined and arrived, everyone slowly getting over the shock of Trevor being a proper host. You heard horror stories of your boyfriend when he was a rookie, only having beer and ketchup in his fridge. So this was a big shock. Trevor joined you in the kitchen, laughing about something Rico said in the living room. “You good?” he questioned, kissing you. No one was around the two of you.
You nodded and smiled at him, pecking his cheek with a gentle kiss. “Trevor, you good? You’ve been making sure everything is perfect.” He nodded. “I just wanted to make sure I could prove that I could host adult parties and I’m not some dumb twenty something year old.” Part of you was sad for him. “Awe baby, look at this party.”
He looked out toward the dining table and living room, where all his teammates and close friends were enjoying themselves. “Did I do good?” he asked sheepishly. “You did amazing honey. Merry Christmas Trev.”
“Merry Christmas,” he smiled proudly

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐲?
Luke castellan x gn!chubbier!shorter reader
Summary: Luke loves to talk about all your physical differences and how you still fit together perfectly. But you have a few bad memories.
Anon, I am sooooo sorry this took so long, I've had a mad case of writer's block lately, and I no time. It's kinda short and sweet (if you get what I mean *wink*) but I hope this is what you were picturing, and that you enjoy <3
warnings: mentions of fatphobia, mentions of insecurity, panic, teasing.
“Hey shawty!”
Immediately, you stiffened. Even if you recognised the voice as one you trusted - Luke, your boyfriend of nearly a year, who you loved dearly - the nickname still made you feel cold all over. But Luke didn't mean the nickname in that way, you were sure.
Right?
You didn't have much time to ponder it however as a warm hand materialised around your waist, pulling you into him. You let the sandwich you had been making for lunch settle onto the table, freeing your arms so you could reciprocate his embrace, although rather stiffly.
"How you been?" He murmured into your hair, while he peppered kisses on your scalp. And then he noticed. He pulled away from you, still gripping your shoulders but gazing at you with concern. "What's wrong?"
You decided to drop it. He wouldn't have meant it that way. Even if your boyfriend before had, Luke wouldn't do something like that. "Nothing," you replied, forcing a smile, "you just caught me by surprise is all."
There was a pause in which he scanned your face, searching for signs you weren't telling the truth. He still appeared wary, but he seemed to let it slide for the moment, scooping up your sandwich plate and tugging you along to his table. Loud greetings hooted about, as his fellow Hermes siblings noted his and your appearance.
Your suspicions were confirmed as you sat, after saying hello to everyone, when he clasped his hand in yours, resting it on his knee. This was something he always did when you were feeling overwhelmed or sad, to reassure you that he was always there. He hadn't been convinced by your facade then. Damn.
Beginning to eat your sandwich, you were wincing at the near-stale texture of the bread, and how hard and dry it was in your mouth. Chiron must be running on his last few loaves and forgot to get extra supplies. You were glad for the distraction of Chris, who was always happy to explain his schemes with grand theatrics, and hand gestures that often tipped over glasses. That and Luke's wild laughter from beside you got you through the unpleasant meal.
"-and you won't believe what happened next, and even though it is coming from me, it was pretty damn impressive-"
"Ok man, I'm gonna interrupt your yap session right there while I can. Anyone getting seconds?" Luke asked, holding up his own plate.
"No dude, I'm sooooooo full, how are you not?" Chris groaned, laughing.
"He didn't steal my bag of jerky, Rodriguez!" Someone down the table accused.
"Hey, that was in the middle of the cabin floor, it was fair game!-"
"I'll have some," you volunteered, turning to Luke, and accepting his hand to help you rise from the benches.
"See, lucky I can be a big back with them!" He laughed, walking away with you and back to the table filled with food.
You weren't hungry anymore, at all. Every delicious, hot meal on the table that had tantalised you only moments before now seemed like soggy sticks. Luke had mentioned stuff about your body twice now, in such a short period. You were sure he meant it now. He must be just like your ex in that respect, even if he had treated you better. He felt the same as your ex had done. Even after all this time, your body wasn't good enough- you weren't good enough-
"Hey, you can't decide? Try the macaroni, I just had a bit and oh my Gods-"
"Uh- I don't really feel too hungry anymore." You said awkwardly, gulping down your insecurity.
"Ok," he said slowly, and there was his brown eyes again, deep and full of questioning. "Are you sure everything's okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, it's all fine just... not hungry." You smiled weakly, praying he would drop it as he did earlier. Your stomach rumbling punctuated the silence. He frowned at you, second helping forgotten and pulled you to the side of the dining pavilion, near some dense bushes where you wouldn't be seen.
"Hey. Please tell me what's going on," he begged, squeezing your hand. When you looked in his eyes, you knew you were a goner. You cracked.
"Do you still- like-like- do you still like me?" you mumbled, gazing down at your feet.
"What do you mean?" He asked, confused, "Y/N, I love you, so yeah, of course I still like you."
“I- just- I- I know you didn’t mean any harm and I know you only meant to tease, but it just reminds me of my ex sometimes.”
"Wait, what? What does?" He urged, pulling you closer.
"Just the... you know, like little comments- it's just-it's kinda like the stuff he used to say that hurt my feelings."
He pulled away from you, face hardening.
“What did he say to you?”
“It was nothing, just he commented on my weight constantly and how much shorter I was than him and sometimes- look it doesn't really matter. It's just that the 'hey shawty' and 'big back' and all that, it shouldn't, it's stupid of me, but it reminds me of him... and like, I know it was a mistake dating a guy that was older in the first place, but the biggest mistake I made was letting him say the stuff he said."
"Don't you dare call yourself stupid," he began sternly, "because if anyone here is, it's me. My gods, baby, I'm so sorry I said stuff like that, it was just a joke or a little pet name to me, I-I didn't know it reminded you of that-ugh, if I had known I would've bleached my mouth out."
You laughed a little, and his face brightened.
"You know I don't wanna be anything like him, right? Man, if he was here I might have a hard time stopping from doing something to him, what a dick."
Laughing again, you nodded, smiling at him.
"And, you know you're also perfect right? Like who cares if you're shorter or a different shape to me? That's what makes you, like you, and I love you for all of it."
He kissed you swiftly, sweetly. It was warm, and you were both smiling through it. He was Luke, not your crusty ex that had broken contact the minute he got accepted to college. And he would always love you for who you were, you were sure of that now.
He broke apart, your noses brushing. "I love you," he whispered, each syllable falling softly on your upper lip.
"I love you too," you whispered back. He backed away reluctantly, holding your hands in both of his tightly.
"Ok, let's get you some macaroni now, because I'm not kidding when I say that it hits-"
And you let him lead you back to the chaotic normality of camp, with all of the delicious food and comforting people you loved.

Humans have the tendency to put poisonous plants in their mout and enjoy eating it ( coffee and anything that has effects of being spicy like chili peppers and weirdly we have the habit to eat things that are not good for us )
Like imagine anyone seeing the local human eating grapes out in the open or trying to make coffee?
Better yet eating chili peppers they found and make it part of their lunch
It'll be wild
If it looks edible, humans will put it in their mouth. That’s a fact of life—but not exactly a good idea sometimes! :V
Put a human in a world full of humanoid monsters where certain foods are toxic or can give them really bad tummy aches? You’ll either get a human complaining about a craving for something not readily available, or you’ll get this:
Yuu: *glancing around before sneakily eating bag of grapes*
Sebek: “Human! What are you eating?!”
Yuu: *freezes, shoving the grapes in their mouth before taking off at top speed*
Sebek: “HUMAN!! Get back here!!!”
*two hours later*
Ace: “Did you have to chase them up a tree?”
Sebek: “It’s not as if I intended to do so! The human shouldn’t have been hiding what they were eating in the first place. They are not a chipmunk!”
Yuu: *sitting on a branch high up, eating more grapes* “This is fine.”
Jack: “Wait, where did that bag come from?”
//----//
Granted, moments like these will calm down quite a bit once it’s clear that Yuu is—in fact—safe. But if the local human happens to be allergic to certain ingredients or foods, they’d better be prepared for quick hands swiping their food or getting tackled and rushed to the nurse’s office/the researchers. When the discovery that some monster students possess human DNA, this opens up a whole new world of food possibilities for them to try! In a supervised environment of course, and more on a volunteer basis just to ensure student safety.
Otherwise, Yuu will gain some snack buddies! 😃
Now, when it comes to mini!Yuu, as all little kids do, it’s highly likely that the toddler will try to put random things in their mouth.
//----//
Mini!Yuu: *playing in Jade and Floyd’s room, climbing up on Jade’s desk while Floyd isn’t looking and picking up a mushroom* “Oooh.” *goes to put it in mouth*
Floyd: “Eh, Shrimpy, what’s—Shrimpy, no!!” *bolts over and grabs the mushroom, holding it high over his head* “Don’t eat that!”
Mini!Yuu: “Why?”
Floyd: “Because mushrooms are disgusting. Bleck!”
Jade: *walks in carrying a small terrarium* “I thought I heard a commotion. Did something happen while I was away for a moment?”
Floyd: “Jade, little Shrimpy almost ate one of your mushrooms! Didn’t Azul tell you to keep your stuff away from them?”
Jade: “They did, did they? Oh my…I was only gone for a minute. Fufufu…well, it’s wonderful knowing that you were watching out for them, though I assure you that this particular mushroom is perfectly safe. It is a pearl oyster mushroom, one of the most commonly used in cooking. I had hoped to make a small terrarium of perfectly safe and non-toxic mushrooms for our dear little Yuu.”
Mini!Yuu: “I wanna try the mushy!”
Jade: “Of course, little one. Would you like to help me build your terrarium?”
Mini!Yuu: “Yes!”
Floyd: *groans*
//----//
And thus began the tiny toddler’s first part of the collection of terrariums and Floyd suffering. Jade’s just happy to have someone who will listen to him talk about mushrooms and plants he finds in the mountains, even if they don’t understand half of what he says! X’D
Anyway, as you can imagine, taking care of a child who doesn’t know what’s good and safe for them is difficult. Especially since—as any parent would tell you—it’s when you look away for just one split second that things can happen to a kid. Hence, why for some of them (Jamil, Vil, Rook, Trey, Jack, Crewel, and Trein), they’re able to just calmly reach over and snatch the dangerous food or object and replace it with something safer.
Then there are those who might end up freaking out/panicking. Funny to reminisce over, but not so funny in the moment 😂

(Movie) Nimona Winter/Christmas Headcanons:
Experiencing a literal snow squall rn and it’s making me think of Khrismuh Time. So have some thoughts.
First: In terms of the Trio™️ and where they generally stand regarding “Holiday Spirit”
• 🎄 •
Ambrosius: Absolutely loves it. He naturally runs cold, but at the same time he loves wearing winter clothes. Sweaters, cozy socks, scarves, you name it. And his biggest “giving” love language IS gifts. (Meanwhile his “receiving” LL is physical touch. Dude wants cuddles.) So this holiday ticks all the boxes for him. He’s wants to celebrate the whole month long, wants to go do little traditions like sleigh rides and snowball fights, and he always had a couple decorations he put in his dorm at the Institute every year. Like he is IN it. And he’s totally the kind of guy who’s working on a list for Bal the whole year. Yes, he knows the season isn’t JUST about material goods. But he also absolutely loves the look on Bal’s face when he gets something he genuinely loves, or when Rose catches Bal wearing/using something he got him. It just makes him really happy.
• 🎄 •
Ballister: Moderate Christmas enjoyer. He naturally runs hot, so he doesn’t bundle up nearly as much as Ambrosius does. Usually only in a tshirt and some gray sweatpants (another reason why Ambrosius likes winter ayooo~) And maybe a turtleneck when it gets really cold. The gifts are nice, but he’s always been a quality time kind of guy. Which, works out perfectly. There was always a Christmas Break for cadets so they had time, + Bal n’ Rose could go out and do all those traditional little activities and have a good time. He used to have a hard time with the holidays when he was a kid for various reasons. For starters, the winter weather in the Danks can be a bitch. Along with general food insecurities plus a cultural emphasis on family and friends when you don’t have any doesn’t lead to anything good. Even despite the various charities that try to make that time easier. But, after starting his training, he had a stable home and food situation, he had a best friend who did his damndest to make sure he had a good Christmas, and yeah the Queen always invited him to spend the actual day with her (since she didn’t really have anyone, either.) So over time he’s built up good memories and associations with the season.
I also see him as 100% being the kind of guy who goes to do volunteer work as part of his traditions. (Not even just for christmas, I imagine he and Ambrosius do community work year-round because they’re both genuinely good, generous guys- though he definitely MAKES time for it during the holidays) Mainly because he knows how hard it is out there when you don’t have anything. And he’s benefited from things like soup kitchens, blanket and clothes donations, as well as toy drives when he was small. Now he’s an adult with the means to help and give back. Why wouldn’t he do that?
• 🎄 •
Nimona: She. Hates. It. The Grinchiest Grinch who ever Grinched. For starters, I wanna put down a Richard Adams quote, because it definitely applies here and how Nims would feel about winter overall:
“Many human beings say that they enjoy the winter, but what they really enjoy is feeling proof against it. For them there is no winter food problem. They have fires and warm clothes. The winter cannot hurt them and therefore increases their sense of cleverness and security. For birds and animals, as for poor men, winter is another matter.”
The years she’s lived as various animals gave her enough reason to dislike the season. There are PLENTY of times where she’s hibernated as a bear or flown south to avoid the cold. Though when she’s stayed in the kingdom, she just does not have a good time. She’s had a lot of the same issues Ballister had as a kid, but she’s never had anyone to alleviate them. She’s just had to endure for literal centuries. Plus, the holiday’s messaging about “peace, love, goodwill towards others,” and all of that feels incredibly fake considering everything she’s been through. It’s hard to get in that christmas spirit when you’re just trying to survive in a kingdom that would happily hunt and kill you. Plus, she’s seen how the holiday itself has succumbed to commercialization. So it feels even MORE cheap and fake to her. She just doesn’t like it. (She’s more of a Halloween person anyway.) It’s just a bad time of year, with a boatload of negative emotions/baggage attached to it that lasts even after the events of the movie, and she’s more than happy to treat it like “just another day.” (I also imagine she deals with seasonal affective disorder. Get this girlie a uv lamp so she can bask under it as a lizard.)
That first christmas after she comes back from the canon incident? When she starts living with her boss and his boyfriend? She’s a complete grump. She sees Ambrosius (who is still “Nemisis,” “Goldielocks,” and “Goldengroin” in her mind) decorating the place during, like, the first week of December and she’s reacting like an angry cat. Quietly slinking into her room and avoiding everyone. Maybe even playing loud music to drown out the sound of cheesy movies and music. Ambrosius is pretty oblivious to why she’s being so sour about everything, but Bal immediately recognizes what’s going on and empathizes. Already forming a plan to give her some good experiences. And, like, they don’t really convert her into a christmas enjoyer within the year. But with each passing holiday they do help ease her out of hating it. It’ll never be her favorite holiday, but she stops dreading winter and christmas eventually.

HOUND | Miguel x M!Reader
Geneticist!Miguel x Guard!Reader Part 1 W/C: 2.5K | Part 1 of 2
Slight NSFW, zombie AU, apocalypse AU, mentions of exploitation and abuse, body horror, gore, immoral research and experiments, power imbalance, reader is a criminal, miguel is a scientist, dark themes, part 2 ends on a positive note, reader is morally grey, bottom!miguel, top!reader, sorry there's lore lol
Note: Wanted to post this bad boy in full, but the second half sorely needs some revising T-T It should be finished and up fairly soon, though! I hope this is ~intriguing~ for those who like darker stuff! Also I did a light edit on this part, but I really just want to get it out so lol sorry if things sound stupid/don't make sense asdjkf;l
--
There exists a cure.
That's what Alchemax declared. And it was the truth, just not the full truth. Not something the public would be happy with, anyway.
The so-called "cure" was…unreliable, only recoding the RNA of select individuals for a reason that Alchemax's geneticists struggled to identify for the longest time. But after combing through the files of each expendable inmate and finding similarities, it became clear: those who'd been in the presence of nuclear energy, or high amounts of radiation, were suitable candidates for the vaccine.
"Guess it's a good thing we didn't shut down those mines," Aaron had sneered at the board meeting. "Otherwise we wouldn't have the army of immune mutants running around for us."
Miguel rolled his eyes. Sure, the idiot wasn't wrong, but he was taking it too far; plenty had died because of their experiments, and plenty more of the "immune" were sure to die with the unknown side effects of whatever the vaccine was bound to show in a matter of years (or in mere months, if they were unlucky).
"It's a start," Miguel begrudgingly added. "But intentionally damaging civilian RNA with radiation, and then repairing it with S-2099, especially when we're not aware of any side effects yet? The UN won't have it. Can't imagine civilians would love it either."
"Well, it's either get bit and die, stay afraid and die, or get painlessly exposed to a blast of radiation and then maybe die if 2099 doesn't fix them like we think," Liv offered with a shrug. "I, for one, would be honoured to die in the name of science."
Miguel coolly looked over at her. "Thanks for volunteering."
Liv's expression twisted. The energy in the room would've exploded if it hadn't been for Stone's interjection.
"We will not be commencing civilian trials. Not until success rates increase with approved subjects provided by the state." The man spoke so steadily, so reasonably, like sacrificing the lives of orange jumpsuits meant nothing.
They were dismissed soon after. Screens flickered out, holograms faded, and Miguel found himself alone with the other few scientists left at their Nueva York location.
He stayed seated, vaguely aware of the others filtering out and murmuring amongst themselves, but his thoughts demanded his attention–he knew, even if the government didn't approve of essentially soft-nuking colonies of survivors, that Tyler Stone would find a way to do it, and would label it an accident. The man, his birth father, was ruthless, cold, calculated–
"Sir?" A voice, your voice, cut through the silence. Miguel looked over his shoulder and found you still waiting, standing perfectly still by the door.
"Sorry, I was just…" Miguel sighed and rubbed his face before standing. "Nevermind. Don't worry about it."
Of course, you didn't say anything, instead nodding wordlessly and following your ward out of the room. Each step you took was punctuated by the shifting of your firearm against your thigh and the heavy thumps of your boots against the polished floors. Miguel used to hate your presence, think it unnecessary, but soon he grew to feel comfortable with you as his shadow.
You, his powerful, mutant guard dog.
"I can't fucking believe what this is turning into," Miguel muttered on the way to his quarters. "Too many unanswered questions, too many risks. And they don't care? We haven't even run further simulations yet–and we can run simulations with different alpha rays and different subject samples. It'd be harmless." The door hissed open and Miguel walked in, sorely wishing he could slam the door for once. Why did everything have to be automated?
"In. Now," Miguel called when you stopped short of his residence. You obeyed, wandering inside before the door slid to a close behind you, and locked.
You had reason to be nervous, Miguel knew that, too. Each key scientist in the building was assigned one of your kind, one of the immune mutants, and were free to do what they wanted with them. Sex, torture, chores–all of it was on the table. All of it had been asked of your kind. Done by your kind. Miguel figured that was why you kept a wall up. You hardly spoke, didn't request anything, never complained–all in an effort to keep the peace between you and your owner.
Miguel threw his white coat aside before stalking up to you. "Let me see," he mumbled as he held your jaw and tilted your head as he shone the light from his phone into your eye.
Your pupils reacted at twice the speed of a normal human's, growing into the tiniest of pin pricks when the bright white flare assaulted your senses. Your eye twitched the slightest bit, but you remained still for Miguel.
"Reactive. Not dead. That's good." He put his phone away, and examined the scarlet blotches contrasting against the natural hue of your iris. It was a relatively new side effect experienced by most of your batch, but you were amongst the more severe cases, if not the most severe case. Most of his peers didn't seem concerned by it, and Miguel could understand, seeing as it appeared to only be cosmetic, but the increased reactivity of your pupil accompanied with the bloody colour intrigued Miguel enough to keep tabs on it.
"Any changes lately? To appetite, sleep, anything?" He asked as he let go of your jaw, nearly smiling as you tried to follow his touch for a moment longer like a sleepy cat. "Maybe neediness?" Miguel teased.
You huffed lightly through your nose and looked around the main room of Miguel's living space. "Tired, I guess."
Miguel's nerves smoothed with the sandpaper scratch of your voice. "Tired. Might be the anemia again. We'll draw blood tomorrow, see if you need supplements or another infusion." Miguel found himself mumbling now, going on about your health and your changes, wondering out loud what the best course of action would be to help you adjust to whatever was happening to your body, but you didn't say anything. You never did unless provoked.
Miguel decided to provoke. He needed to speak, to be spoken to, to hear someone else’s voice right now. "What do you think about all this?" He called from the bathroom after washing up for the night. He poked his head out a moment later when you didn’t comment.
“I know you were listening,” he prodded again over the toothbrush jammed into the side of his mouth. “The other ones don’t, but you do. I can tell by that look you get.” he waited for you to respond while he brushed his teeth, but you didn’t. You hadn’t moved from your post by his front door, actually, stood against the wall, arms crossed and staring forward like you were listening to everything beyond the door. Miguel wasn’t sure if he’d ever seen you sit down. He didn’t know if you’d ever laid down before.
After he finished washing up for the night, he decided to try again.
“You really gonna keep me in the dark?” Miguel asked as he walked up to you, arms crossed as well. He couldn’t help but feel smaller and smaller the longer he waited in silence, waited to hear your gravelled voice. He couldn’t grasp why he was so desperate for a friend suddenly, but he was. He really was, and he wasn’t finding it in you.
“Forget it. Doesn’t matter anyway,” Miguel mumbled, turning away from you and rubbing his face tiredly.
“Don't have much of an opinion.”
“What?” Miguel turned back around, brows raised as he waited for you to continue. Your gaze peeled from the ceiling and fell to him, like you were waiting for a reprimand of sorts, but Miguel wouldn’t, not when he tried so hard to get a peep out of you.
You shrugged and looked elsewhere. “Don't care what happens to civilians. Not my problem.”
“It's the world's problem,” Miguel suggested. He didn't want to start an argument, but he didn't want you to feel so blasé about the fate of everything. “The more civilians that get infected, the more the world loses.”
“Thought that was a good thing. Last I heard, the world was pretty overpopulated.” You said it so easily. Miguel would have shrugged it off if he didn't know about the blood on your hands, the crimes you'd committed, the evidence that you really, truly, did not give a shit about humanity.
Miguel scoffed, a bitter, bewildered sort of thing. “Y'know, I used to pity you for this,” he started, gesturing to the soldiered-out state of yourself, “but you might be less human than those things out there.”
“Probably.”
“You don't even care,” Miguel laughed again. “Did you care when you killed that family?”
“An eye for an eye,” you replied.
“Right, right. Then what about your daughter? Did you care when–” the world spun before his back cracked against the wall. He grabbed your wrist and squeezed when your hands fisted in his shirt, ready to trigger your kill switch with one click of a button on his ring, but he didn't need to; you simply held him there, boring holes into his skull with your diamond-tipped stare.
“You jokers don't know when to quit,” you said. “Always have to drag a kid into the equation, ‘n then act so fucking shocked when you end up dead ‘cause of it.” A sigh slipped past your lips as you leaned in. Miguel wanted to meet you halfway. “Fuckers like you make murderers out of men like me.”
Oh. The violence rippling through your crackling voice went straight down, into the pit below Miguel's stomach and coiled into something frightfully decadent. He wanted your hands around his neck. He wanted you to mutter more threats into his ear. He wanted–
He wanted you.
“Let me touch you,” Miguel blurted. “Your skin.” You gave a reaction then, eyes blinking away shock and throat clearing with a strangled grunt, but you didn’t say no. You didn’t reject him. In fact, you looked him up and down in question, curiosity peeking through piercing eyes.
“You're a deranged fuck, aren't you? Getting all hot ‘n bothered from a threat.” You reached for the straps of your kevlar vest, then, and Miguel’s nerves jolted with the sound of the buckles clicking loose.
He scrambled to you and held your hands. He wanted to do it himself, to unwrap your bindings and see what laid beneath. Your hands fell, and Miguel took over.
The warmth bleeding from your clothes intoxicated him. He fumbled with your gear, eager to get to the base of your tight, black shirt and rip it off, but you didn’t try to take over for him–you watched, patient like a dog, letting your master doff your armour at his leisure (or, rather, his frantic, desperate pace). Miguel appreciated it. He wondered if you knew he'd snap if you tried to interfere.
Soon, your chest was bare. Exposed for him, dotted with memories of cruel bites, bullets, knives and surgical scars all over taught, humming skin. Man shouldn’t be allowed to touch you, Miguel thought. The imperfections were so gloriously human. You were so perfectly alive, standing here with him, breathing, emanating heat, allowing him to do what he pleased–he was the luckiest man on Earth.
Miguel couldn’t look you in the eyes as his broad palm pressed against your chest, right over the rhythm of your soul. His pants strained and tightened more as his touch wandered through the valleys of firm muscle; what did the rest of you look like? What did you look like when you fought, or when you fucked?
His hand slipped down to the tight adonis belt cinching your waist, and then lower, following the trail of fine hair disappearing beneath the waistband peeking above your cargos. The bunching and folding of thick material melted Miguel's mind in a vat of suggestion and insatiability–were you really that big, or was that fabric just making it an illusion?
He didn't need to wait to find out, though, not when you guided his hand down over the very real curve of your goods packed away. And, yes, you were big. Miguel's eyes snapped up to yours. A smug look greeted him.
“Looked like you needed some encouragement.”
Miguel might have laughed if his heart weren't suffocating him, climbing up his throat. Your clothed cock under his hand was ruining his cognitive functions too, to be fair.
His fingers, long, clumsy things, hurried at your buttons and the zipper keeping everything in check. Miguel's ears filled with the rhythmic drumming of desire when he finally got the damn thing undone, but you grabbed his wrist. You stopped him.
Miguel scoffed out a held breath and tried to wrench free, but your grip held firm. “You can't back out after–” But when he looked at you, he froze still; your expression electrified the senses, the slightest narrowing and shifting of uneasy eyes freezing Miguel colder and colder by the second.
“Bathroom. Now.” You popped just one of those buttons back into place before turning to the door.
“Wh–” But you shoved him, hard, and sent him stumbling into the sterile white space as explosive carnage rippled through the room in his wake. The thing collided into you seconds after you'd gotten your charge out of the blast zone.
It was big. A mass of human features and flesh and maybe something else weighing on a hulking frame. You barked a name, maybe the name of one of your fellow watch dogs, but it didn't change the thing's trajectory as it tore towards Miguel on all fours like a hound out of hell.
But you were quicker. You grabbed it by the nape and ripped it off its warpath with too much effort, just narrowly avoiding it barreling into the attached room by seconds. Its momentum, forced toward the wall, threw it into a dizzied tantrum; limbs flailed, mouths gnashed, and a symphony of mismatched voices wailed from their putrid prison.
Miguel's body locked. What ifs plagued him, suddenly. If it got him. If it bit him. If you hadn't been there. What if–
“Close the damn door,” you demanded, and your voice sounded a bit shaky, too. Miguel looked at your broad back as you stood bravely in the way of the beast and its target. “Doctor–”
“I–but you–?” Miguel stumbled and choked on his words and his reasoning. He didn't want you to fight. He didn't want to die. He didn't want you to die. Miguel hit the button to make it closed, but the door stalled halfway.
“Fuck it.” Barbs burst from your fingertips and dug into the door, forcing it to bend to your will and close. Miguel didn't like how you disappeared inch by inch. He didn't like seeing that thing behind you get up. He didn't like that look you gave him just before the door snapped shut.
The next few minutes passed like years.

It's a Tradition, Right?
Wrecker/Fem!Reader
Word Count: 3.5k
Warnings: none really? does accidentally written miscommunication need a warning???
Food is the way to a man like Wrecker's heart. When his favorite Pabu resident surprises him with his favorite snack after a mission, he just can't help but confess to her. But is it really the picture perfect confession he imagined?
I am back! Once again participating in an amazing @cloneficgiftexchange organized by @ghostofskywalker.
This particular fic is written for @hunterscyarika with the prompts, "I'm falling in love with you" and "You're always on my mind." I really hope you love it! Wrecker was, surprisingly, the hardest clone I've written for so far, and I really hope I did him justice. Without further ado, I present to you: Wrecker's Guide on How to NOT Confess to Someone.
Well, if you squint your eyes and tilt your head, maybe it does look like the holo Omega showed you. The colors are a little off, and you lost count when you were measuring out the sugar, but that’s not what really matters. As long as it tastes like Omega and Wrecker’s beloved mantell mix. As long as you get to see one of Wrecker’s brilliant smiles when he tries it.
Pabu was one of the most special places in the galaxy. A paradise comprised of so many people from so many systems and cultures coming together in a perfect blend of peace and harmony. Even when tragedy strikes, like the sea surge a year ago, it provides an opportunity for the community to grow closer as a unit. It also provided you with an opportunity to meet the group of clones that called themselves the Bad Batch.
You volunteered to help distribute blankets and other emergency supplies immediately following the surge, and your curiosity about the newcomers led you to approach the two little girls and one much larger man who fell asleep against the trunk of a large tree. You first placed a blanket around the two girls, then turned to the man and stopped short. He was gorgeous. Everything about his physique showcased the dangerous weapon that he was designed to be, but the way he laid there, entirely open and vulnerable, made you think there was so much more below the surface for him. He must’ve sensed your stare because he shifted and opened his eyes a bit, startling you out of your trance. You quickly tossed two blankets on him, only hesitating once before tossing one more for good measure and hastily walked off to hand out more blankets.
You were perfectly content to leave your interactions with the clone and his sister at that, with you hopelessly pining from a distance while he was blissfully unaware of your existence. That plan lasted for about 12 hours, when the very next morning, the two clones waltzed right back into your life to help you distribute supplies. The girl cheerfully introduced herself as Omega and her brother as Wrecker while he effortlessly swooped up the box of rations that you had been struggling with just a minute before. The pair bonded quickly with you, and before long you found yourself thinking of them as your closest friends on Pabu.
The time you spent with Wrecker did nothing to help your crush on him, and the time you spent apart helped even less. So, while the Batch was out with Phee on another adventure of liberating ancient wonders, you were stuck replaying your last interaction with Omega and Wrecker in your head.
“It was a tradition on Ord Mantell.” Omega explained, “After every mission, we’d head straight to the mantell mix stand.”
“I would do anything to have one last carton.” Wrecker reminisced.
The spark in his eye was the thing that stuck with you the most. You wanted to see him with that look of pure adoration and happiness again. That desire led you to manically interview anyone you possibly could on Pabu for information about this mantell mix. None of Pabu’s current residents had come from Ord Mantell, and those that had visited it at one time or another were equally unhelpful. Eventually, you grew desperate enough to comm Echo, and after he scolded you for using his hyper encrypted comm channel for something as low priority as a mantell mix recipe, he was able to provide a really good description of the snack. Echo had been to many systems and planets during his time in the 501st, so eventually he was able to relate mantell mix to another type of sweet popped corn that you had eaten.
Once you knew the basic principle of mantell mix, you were able to find ingredients and start attempting to recreate it easily enough. It took an embarrassing amount of batches to have a product that you were semi-happy with, and even now if you had more time, you would likely try it again. But Omega had commed you earlier that day to tell you that they would be arriving back to Pabu in a few hours, so this batch was as best as it would get. The corn wasn’t completely or evenly covered by the syrup, and the slightly grainy texture of the syrup made you think that you may have added too much sugar after you lost count, but a glance at your chrono let you know that you were running out of time. You hurriedly scooped some mantell mix into little cartons that looked somewhat similar to the ones in the holo, it had taken you an entire day to hunt those down, and set off to the top of Pabu’s mountain to wait for their ship to touch down.
Pabu was a small island, and word must have caught that the Batch and Phee would be arriving today because there was already a small crowd forming when you got to the top of the mountain. Excited children were accompanied by their curious parents waited to hear the stories of this latest adventure, while young scholars and old historians gathered to see what ancient treasure Phee had tracked down this time. Once the ship landed, and the landing ramp descended, it seemed as though every person in the crowd was holding their breath. Eventually, Hunter stepped out of the ship, followed by Phee and Tech, then Omega, and finally, Wrecker. Some people in the crowd approached them with their questions about the journey, and many parents had to physically restrain their children from piling onto Wrecker, but you decided to stay put. If this mantell mix thing ended up going south, you’d rather have a smaller crowd of witnesses. You were currently holding the two cartons behind your back, your hands slightly shaking, and taking some deep calming breaths. What if the mantell mix brought back bad memories of Ord Mantell? You had never been able to hear the whole story of how the Batch ended up on Pabu, not that it was your business. What if you get their hopes up and then they’re crushed with disappointment over your attempt at recreating their favorite snack?
But what if it went right? What if the surprise makes Wrecker’s face light up with that beautiful smile that you secretly hoped was only for you? What if he realizes that you’ve been here all along, hoping for the day that he’ll pick you up and twirl you around and-
Your embarrassing daydream is cut off by the sound of someone shouting your name. Looking up, you see a large figure, in gray and yellow armor, coming at you full speed with his arms spread wide for a hug. You come to your bearings, just fast enough to dodge out of the way, worried that his bear hug would crush the two cartons in your hands.
His smile dips in confusion for just a second, but you greet him before he’s able to dwell on your aversion for too long, “Wrecker! How was the trip?”
“Oh, you know, the usual.” Wrecker smirks, “Weird alien thing attacked us, Tech almost crashed, but Phee got her ugly vase, so our record is still perfect!”
You laughed, his carefree attitude helping lift some of your nerves, as always. “Was it a hot desert planet or a swampy humid one this time?”
“Neither! It had these nice grassy hills and mountains, and the weather was perfect.” Wrecker glanced down at you for a second, “I think you’d really like it, we’ll have to go back one day and maybe even have a picnic.”
Your brain short-circuited at the thought of having a picnic in a grassy field with Wrecker, but before you could ask who “we” entailed, exactly, someone shouted “Boo!” and jumped out from behind you.
Starting, you whirled around, “Omega! How long were you standing behind me?!”
“Only for a bit.” Omega answered, in between her laughs, “Wrecker almost gave me away, but I signaled for him to be quiet.”
You turned towards the older clone, a brow raised, but noticed that he hadn’t been listening to your conversation. His eyes were glued to your hands, which were miraculously still holding onto the two cartons.
“Oh.” You backed up so both clones were in front of you and brought your hands out from behind your back, “Um, I remember you guys talking about mantell mix a few weeks ago, and I got really curious about it so… I did a lot of research, and talked to some people, most of which were not helpful, but I guess that’s expected. You would be shocked at how few people there are on Pabu that have been to Ord Mantell, and I think I still owe Echo and Rex an apology. But I think I got it right, or at least I hope so, I’ve never had it, so taste tests were pretty useless, but-” You cut off your rambling, took a deep breath, and held out the cartons, “It’s a tradition, right?”
You were met with silence as five wide-eyed faces stared back at you. Apparently, in your rambling, you hadn’t noticed the two other members of the Bad Batch approach along with Phee. You only had a beat to start regretting all of your life choices, before everything exploded. Omega snatched the cartons out of your hands, thanking you over and over. Hunter sighed and rubbed his face, likely imagining the sugar high Omega he’d need to deal with later, but thanked you as well after seeing how happy she was. Tech began asking question after question about your research methods into Ord Mantell snacking culture and what other planets had similar treats and how they differed from other planets he had researched.
You could hardly keep up with answering the questions and accepting the thanks and giving Hunter apologetic smiles every once in a while, when Phee interceded, “All right, this is exciting, but we do have things we need to finish up. Hunter, didn’t you say something about dropping off those crates by the docks? And Omega, I think Lyana’s been looking for you. I’m going to drop off this vase in the Archium, in case anyone wants to join me.” Hunter and Omega split off to their forgotten tasks. On her way past you, Phee gave you one last sly smirk and a wink before heading off with Tech trailing behind her, his face buried in his datapad.
That left you alone, once again, with Wrecker. You noticed that his mantell mix sat untouched in its carton, and your nerves returned full force. Slowly, he picked up a piece and put it in his mouth. His composure melted, and he looked up at you with a blinding smile. There’s that spark.
He ate two more pieces and hummed in satisfaction. “I’m falling in love with you. This is perfect.”
“Oh thank you.” You answered, before fully registering his first sentence to you. You froze, but he just continued to eat his snack. You blinked, “It took more attempts than I’d like to admit.”
“Do you have leftovers from those? I’ll eat them too.” Wrecker spoke casually, like he hadn’t uttered anything about his feelings for you.
“Um, yeah, a bit.” You desperately tried to keep up with the conversation, even though you were internally screaming. “I can bring some over, if you’d like?”
“That’d be great. Oh! I didn’t even notice,” Your heart stopped as he sheepishly looked up, “I was supposed to help Hunter with those crates, I hope he’s not mad.”
He quickly ate the rest of the mantell mix, then turned to rush off. If he bid you goodbye properly, you didn’t notice. You were too busy lost in your thoughts. The rest of the day went by in a blur. The entire mantell mix fiasco took up most of your mind, and the words “I’m falling in love with you” replayed over and over.
“That’s enough!” You snapped to yourself as you laid in bed that night. “You’re being ridiculous. It just slipped out. It doesn’t mean anything. It changes nothing.” And for the first time, your mind went quiet. Of course. Wrecker was friendly and loud. He’s very loving to everyone. In the heat of the moment, with the shock of the surprise, the words slipped out. He didn’t even notice. It was an accident.
But what if it wasn’t?
Groaning, you rolled over, not knowing how you’d sleep tonight.
…
Wrecker slept great that night.
His dreams were full of sugary mantell mix and beautiful smiles, both of which made him think of you. Not that he was complaining. Thinking of you was his favorite pastime.
“Wrecker, it’s time to go.”
Unfortunately, Wrecker hadn’t had a good chance to see you since he confessed two weeks ago.
“Wrecker, don’t make me say it again.”
Whenever you both happened to be in the same general area, one of you was being rushed off in some direction and the most you could spare was a wave to acknowledge the other’s presence.
“Wrecker! Can you hear me?”
But Wrecker finally had an afternoon free, and no matter how busy you were, he was determined to steal you away, even if only for a moment.
“Wrecker!” Hunter finally burst into Wrecker’s room. “The garden fence isn’t going to fix itself. Stop daydreaming about your girlfriend, get off your shebs, and come help me.”
“Sorry, Hunter.” Wrecker finished putting on his boot and stood to follow Hunter out of the room.
Hunter nodded in satisfaction, starting to turn around. “Wait a minute.” He whirled back to face Wrecker and shoved his chest. Wrecker, caught off guard, fell back to a sitting position on his bed again. “You didn’t correct me.”
“Huh?” Wrecker tried to stand up again, but was only shoved back down.
“You didn’t correct me.” Hunter pulled a chair up and sat on it backwards, his crossed forearms resting on the back. “Every single time I call that girl your girlfriend, you correct me. But not this time. So what did you do?”
Looking towards the doorway, Wrecker attempted to avoid his brother’s squinted gaze, but only met an identical one from Tech, who had heard the commotion and curiously wandered by. “I, uh…” Wrecker brought a hand up to rub the back of his neck. “I told her how I felt.”
He shrugged and tried once more to stand up, but one look at Hunter’s face told him that this conversation was not done.
“And?” Hunter pressed. “What did she say?”
“What do you mean?”
“He wants the details, Wrecker.” Tech sighed from the doorway, where he made himself comfortable leaning on the frame. “How did the conversation go?”
“In exact words.” Hunter ordered.
“Well, it was the day she gave Omega and I the mantell mix. And I told her I was falling in love with her.” A subconscious smile grew on Wrecker’s face as he remembered how enchanting you looked that day, with the sun setting behind you in Pabu’s sky. Then, for Hunter’s benefit, he added. “Oh, and that the mantell mix was perfect.”
Frustrated, Hunter snapped his fingers in front of Wrecker’s face. “What. Did. She. Say?”
“Uh,” Wrecker shook his head, “she said, ‘Thank you’.”
“I don’t care about what she said about the mantell mix!” Hunter snapped.
“Wrecker,” Tech interrupted before Hunter resorted to violence, “What was her response to your confession? Are the two of you romantically involved in a relationship now?”
“Well, yeah! I told her I loved her!”
“Yes, and what did she say?”
“She said, ‘Thank you’!” Now all three brothers were frustrated.
“Okay.” Hunter took a deep breath. “Forget the garden fence, Tech and I can handle it. I think you need to go talk to your girlfriend.”
Tech sputtered some protests about his busy day and the plans he had later that were ruined now, thanks Wrecker, but those were largely ignored.
Wrecker was more than a little confused, but he didn’t need to be told twice to spend time with you. He found you in the market, inspecting some produce from a nearby stall.
You turned when he called your name, and this time, you weren’t quick enough to sidestep his hug. “Good morning, cyare.” He muttered into your ear.
“Hey,” You greeted, “I didn’t expect to see you this morning. I heard something about a garden fence?”
“Nah, Hunter’s got that taken care of.” Wrecker pulled back from the hug to look at you, but he kept his arms firmly wrapped around you.
You both stood there for an awkward second. Wrecker looking at you in contentment and you at him in mild confusion. “Did you… need something?”
“Do I need a reason to come visit my girlfriend?” Wrecker asked.
Your eyes widened. “Your what?”
It was Wrecker’s turn to be mildly confused. “Yeah? Is something wrong?” His grip had loosened enough for you to step out of it.
“I just… I didn’t know…” You shook your head, trying to ignore the feeling of your heart breaking. “I’m happy for you, she must be a lucky girl.”
Wrecker looked at you for a bit before bursting out laughing. “Oh, I get it. You’re messing with me. That’s a good one, really had me going!”
“What are you talking about?” You crossed your arms, “You didn’t tell me you got a girlfriend.”
Wrecker blinked. “But you’re my girlfriend.”
“I’m what?!” You scoffed. “Since when?”
Wrecker’s smile started slowly slipping away, “Since I got back from that mission… for Phee’s ugly vase? Two weeks ago?”
“Were you planning on telling me?” You raised a brow.
“I did! When you gave me the mantell mix!”
The words that have been haunting you for the past two weeks rang through your mind. “I’m falling in love with you.”
Your jaw dropped. “I thought you were joking.”
“Why would I joke about that?” Wrecker asked, shocked.
“Because you joke a lot!” You defended, “Because you didn’t wait for me to respond and you didn’t bring it up again. I thought you weren’t serious.”
“You did respond! I told you I was in love with you and you said-” Wrecker stopped. You said “Thank you” for his compliment to your mantell mix. And then he had to leave to help Hunter. You never did respond to his confession. “Oh…”
He looked at you. Your eyes were glued to the ground, your arms crossed in front of you. Taking a step toward you, lifting your chin so your gaze met his. “I’m so sorry. I was so excited about getting to tell you how I felt that I didn’t even let you answer.”
“It wasn’t your fault.” You stepped towards him this time, “I mean, it was a chaotic day for everyone.”
“Yeah.” Wrecker cleared his throat. “I’m still really sorry about this mix-up. You probably had a lot on your mind that day, and you probably don’t feel the same, so I’ll just be going now.”
You grabbed his hands before he could turn away. “You’re always on my mind.”
This time your confession left Wrecker speechless. So you continued. “I think about you all the time, and when you told me you loved me, I really hoped that you were serious. But then we didn’t see each other and when we did you acted like everything was normal, but I didn’t want it to be normal. I still don’t want it to be normal.”
Then that smile crept onto Wrecker’s face. The one that accompanied that gorgeous spark in his eyes. “So is that an ‘I’m falling in love with you too’? And an ‘I’ll go out with you’?”
“I’m falling in love with you too.” You responded, finally, “And going out with you depends. Will you actually ask me this time?”
“Will you go out with me?” He asked, finally.
“I’d love to.” You leaned in to place a small kiss on his cheek, but Wrecker had other plans. He turned his face, catching your lips with his at the last moment. Neither of you felt particularly motivated to pull back immediately, but when you did, it was accompanied by relieved laughs and loving glances.
…
Omega was getting spoiled. She knew that, at any moment, she could visit your house and you’d have a supply of mantell mix ready for her. She also knew that, at any moment, she could mention visiting you and Wrecker would be more than happy to join her in her sneaking mission. However, she noticed that he never joined her in enjoying the mantell mix spoils, which was unlike him. Whenever she offered him some, he just smiled at you and said, “I’ve already got my prize.”
For Wrecker, eating mantell mix on Ord Mantell gave him something to look forward to. It always meant that the mission was over and he was home with his family. On Pabu, he didn’t need to eat mantell mix to feel at home, he just had to look at you.
Of course, you still greeted him and Omega after missions with a carton of mantell mix, and of course, he ate it then. You made it for him. And it was a tradition, wasn’t it?

The Ticklish Abs 🍫
A devious thought that keeps popping into my head whenever I see this gif. Imagine your cute, deathly ticklish friend says they wanna tighten up their core for the summer. You volunteer to help and convince them to trust you to wrap them up completely making them of no help to themselves. They ask what the hell you’re doing. “Didn’t you say you want to tone you’re core?” You ask them. They’re even more confused when you peel away the wrap that covers only their tummy, leaving exactly their mid section exposed😌
Everywhere else on their body is warm but they can feel change of temperature on their vulnerable little tummy. You begin to warm them up, priming them by stroking your fingers over their freakishly sensitive belly and they immediately jerk as far back as their imaginations allows them to believe that they can go, as they are securely wrapped in place. With desperation in their eyes the begging and pleasing begins, all falling on deaf ears. A toned tummy you want, a toned tummy I shall deliver. And as if made into an art, you begin to dig deep into the depths of their soft, nerve riddled tummy. Digging, probing, kneading, and stimulating every possible strand of muscle fiber that laid dormant in their core. Their laughing is fever pitch, hysterics. Tears in their eyes they holler, scream and convulse.
But this is perfect, the method is working. They’re burning so many calories while engaging their core muscles like never before every time they laugh or scream or BEG from the depths of their lungs 😩
You keep them in this state for a month, feeding them on the proper diet, high protein, low carbs, lots of veggies and lemon water. Forcing them back into their restraints for four hours each day, two in the morning and two In the evening.
The mind melting tickling at the end of the first week would begin to be targeted. Focusing on even one ab at a time. “I forgot to ask, do you want a six or eight pack?” In their delirious state they made the mistake to answer “eight🥴”. Perfect 😌… Each of the eight desired ab muscles got two target hours of pure unrestrained muscle developing tickling. Destroy muscle fibers, filling them with blood then allowing it to heal wile another ab gets the very same treatment. ☺️☺️☺️
An entire month of conditioning passed and the abs began to pop perfectly and form so beautifully 😍✨ Just a few final touches to make her right as rain. LOOK AT THEM, I’m so proud 🥹🥹🥹 … and for all her suffering she looks soo happy doesn’t she???🥹
Unfortunately, there was an unexpected side effect of this form of deep tissue muscle stimulation😳. Though the goal was accomplished and their abs were formed neatly and tightly, due the constant stimulation of the muscle fibers the tissue and nerves have somehow remembered and and retained the very sensation which brought them to be in the first place YIKES 😳!!!!
This means *GULPS* now that the abs have been formed, any use of them in core engagement, delivers the same overwhelming, torturous tickle sensation😭😭😭. If they breathe, cough, twist, sit up or even FLEX their hard earned abs it delivers such a ticklish jolt that they immediately cease movement 😭😭… They’ve been TRAPPED, tickled to get muscles, that will now tickle them on their own… forever.💋🫦☺️💕😘💦❤️👅
