ppl will send me asks to my inbox for my art blog and side blogs just telling me to draw things and my immediate response is always "don't fucking tell me what to do."
#i HAAAATE when ppl just try to tell me what to draw it feels so demanding. does my time mean nothing to you#''i need you to draw--'' YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING FROM ME YOU AREN'T MY BOSS#idk if I'm being unreasonable for feeling this way or not#cuz like?? i know I don't need to answer the asks so getting mad about it might be stupid#but also i don't wanna be treated like a fucking content machine. everyone getting to see my art is a PRIVILEGE.#when i complained about this on my splatb*nds side blog i got a hate ask.#like god... I'm just asking for ppl to be more respectful and considerate before they send me asks. phrasing makes a world of difference#like instead of ''draw [blank]'' saying sumn like ''hey here's this idea‚ i think your art would convey it well'' would work MUCH better#with that example i don't feel like im being bossed around AND it makes me feel like my style has it's own worth.#i just don't wanna feel like I'm being used for my art and not being appreciated as an artist#weed screams
