Yesterday, once again, Greg Bryk decided to go live on Instagram to talk with his followers. I decided to watch just in case there were questions about Joseph Seed. There were!

Someone asked how much he was paid to be in Far Cry 5. The answer is “enough”. He had a great time with the people at Ubisoft and still loves Joseph, who is “a beautifully written character”. He confirmed that, before he was cast, the Father was different and that they then basically rewrote the character with him. In the end, he thinks Joseph is a lot like him, and could even have been him… “under different circumstances”, of course.

If Far Cry 5 became a movie (it’s just a question someone asked, not a project), he would probably play Joseph again. He admitted it would depend on the script and who wrote it, though…

He knows Giancarlo Esposito because they were in a TV series called Jett together. He still hasn’t met Michael Mando but he thinks he’s a great actor whose “success is no accident”.

Finally, someone informed him that Joel from The Last of Us, one of Troy Baker’s characters, and Joseph Seed had the same French voice actor. It’s true; his name is Cyril Monge and he also played Dr. Sergio Estévez in Far Cry 6!
