lately i've been more intrested in the more thecnical side of pokemon, and i've currently started a pokemon diamond run that is a pokemon oak challenge (catch and evolve every pokemon possible before each and every badge on one copy of the game) that has the cute charm glitch active (some trainer id and secret id combo makes it so that if you lead with a pokemon with cute charm, there is a much higher chance to find shiny pokemon) and i've just been thinking on how weird it is that some people if they lead with a few specific pokemon will cause the world around them to change like that

#my thoughts dabbles in unreality horror and some kind of eldritch nature of the glitch in a way #like the way the glitch work is (from my understanding)#when cute charm procs and causes a gender switch for the encounter which in a way #that if it has a certain nature and changes gender it will be shiny #like with my side if i lead with a male pokemon with cute charm if the pokemon i want has eitehr #impish lax timid hasty serious jolly naive or modest #and used to be male but cute charm proc'd #it'll be shiny #at least that's my understanding #anyway imagine how fucked up that the presence of someone with a jigglypuff that have a pretty smile #causes the world around to change in such a way #transing gender and causes pigmentation to change #how fucked up is that
