It is increasingly obvious to me that Dz Amine's first and only ooc moment is when he helps out the old man who gifts him the phone in return. It is a kind, selfless and compassionate gesture and he does not have the capacity for any of these virtues

#i am so tired of him!!!#he isn't even misguided he's straight up an asshole #i got to the part where he interferes in his little sister's love life #and i cant help but compare him to the Moroccan version #what Mc Amine did is that he shapshifted into his teenage sister and then went to the 50-something neighbor who has a huge crush on her #and he urged him to come ask for her hand #thinking that all thats gonna happen is an incredibly awkward lunch #but to his (and the audience's) shock : their father actually welcomes the proposition and will not take no for an answer #and the teenage girl is due to be forcibly removed from school and married off #now that's a bad and misguided decision that goes out of control!! that makes total sense!!!!#now in the dz version #Amine switches to his sister and he goes and ruins her chance at a marriage SHE WANTED #and is shocked to see that she's sad about it #like man you knew this shit was gonna happen. in fact you were counting on it in the first place #when are they gonna developp his character because mannnn he is pissing me off #laughing s og post #les switchers
