#when DG is published i'm going to look back on this post and cry

i've stayed up all/most of the night every night this week watching gymnastics. i'm so tired. but i am also...so happy. this sport brings me joy. watching these men and women succeed brings me joy. learning new terms, learning how points are added and deducted, learning about the athletes' mental health...it all brings me joy. my facebook saved folder is all gymnastics. my bookmarks have a specific folder for gymnastics. there's a shelf on the bookcase in my bedroom dedicated to gymnastics biographies and books.

everything, for me, right now...is gymnastics.

and i'm so happy.
