Look at the size of the hibiscus blooms on this plant! I have my hand in the shot so that you get an idea of the scale (my hands are big btw)... I think the composition of the shot is not as nice a photo that I normally would take. That’s because it’s taken at such an odd angle. The only branch low enough for me to put my hand in the shot, was on this really low branch halfway inside the shrub. I’m completely bent over (like the “downward dog” yoga pose) and I’m holding back the branches with the back of my left arm, holding my left hand next to the bloom, and taking the picture in my iPhone, one handed, with my right hand, and the dog’s lead is around my right wrist.. and of course she’s pulling to keep walking. I must have looked like I was playing an imaginary solo game of of “Roadside Twister” whilst drunk. AND I’m in my Day-Glo neon yellow Birkenstock’s with a French Bulldog in a wheelchair attached to my arm. Come to think of it.. She’s determined to go EXACTLY where she wants to go and to go as FAST as she wants. Who am I to impede this? ...and I am NOT going to be that horrible 6’4” bearded monster dragging the cute little dog in the wheelchair by her collar/leash in the opposite direction from where she wants to go.
