Blake has had a rough decade. After an unlucky event that turned her into a ghost and a ridiculous amount of family trouble (Which including leaving behind her pet cat), it seemed like the end of the world was coming to top it all off. Just great. This BC seemed like the perfect opportunity. Blake would get to escape from impending doom, and get the chance to meet someone who wouldn’t care about their past. When would they get another chance like this?

So, who are you? Tell me a little bit about yourself. Name, gender, where you’re from, career path, MBTI–you know, basic stuff. 

My names Blake Olwen. I’m non binary - I guess female aligned but I usually prefer they/them pronouns. I’m from Moonlight Falls originally, but glad to be leaving. Things haven't been the same since I mucked up that one spell and became a ghost. It’s about time I start over in a new place. Career path would be author for sure. I’m sure it’s even easier to be a successful author when the apocalypse happens and people are begging for something new to read.

What’s something you’re particularly talented at? 

Well I used to be pretty talented at magic. Unfortunately when I started messing with bigger spells my bad luck got in the way and - Well, I’m a ghost now so you can see just how well that went. I guess my talents now are that I’m a pretty good writer. Oh and I can read books pretty quickly but I don’t know If I’d call that a talent. 

You don’t plan on using that talent for evil, do you?

For evil?  Sure. I’ll speed read the Necronomicon or something.

How’s your family doing? Did they come on the trip with you, or did you leave them to possibly die? (I’m kidding.)

My family have disowned me since I ruined the legacy of every firstborn child being a magical genius. With me disowned they can pretend my younger sister is the firstborn and act like I never existed. Oh well. If the apocalypse comes and kills them they can use their stupid magic to get out of it on their own. The only one I’ll be sad about is the old pet cat Thompson.

What’s your vision for this new life?

A fresh start. Endless time to write my stories and no more reminders of my wasted time alive. Also maybe a pet cat and a person to cuddle with who doesn't hate me for my past. The whole ghost thing has been a huge hurdle in dating.

Do you have any dating history? How’d it go?

The past couple people I’ve dated have said I’m too snarky and sassy to deal with. Their loss.  

What are some hobbies of yours? (I did ask about talents, but you don’t necessarily have to be any good at something to like it.)

Taking care of stray cats.  Scaring people now that I’m a spooky ghost. You know, the usual.

Consider living here a blank slate from this point on, but… did you have a criminal record back in SimNation? Don’t worry if you did. I did too.

I mean... Technically? It’s illegal to cast the spell that killed me, but since I died in the process no one really attempted to press charges.

How about a random fact about yourself?

Uh, I named my first cat “Snuggle Worm” does that work?

Why’d you sign up for this BC? Besides the obvious “I wanna live, thank you”–you could’ve just come without trying to get in the BC, y'know.

If I’m gonna start over, I want someone to start over with. It’s no fun being alone forever.

How are you feeling right now? Excited? Scared? Numb?

Probably more excited than anything. It’s been a long time since I’ve done something new. I’m ready for whatever comes my way.

It’s been two years since anyone has heard from Parker Sykes. Penelope, his younger sister, is still worried. Ever since he entered that bachelor challenge and lost, he never returned to Minnesota. The family has assumed he’s dead, but Penelope still believes that he’s out there. Hell, same thing happened to that contestant on the Early BC after he left, and they’re still searching for him. To set herself at ease when she gets worked up about him, she likes to think that the two found each other and are living a happy life.

Now, where does the rest of the family fall in? Patrica, her mother, has been practicing medicine in SimNation that she’s been heralded as one of the greatest doctors in the world. Peter, her father, has made many advancements in science. Palmer, her younger brother, just graduated college, and is convinced his art will get him through (which she is supportive of... if only he’d get up off the couch and actually get some work).

What about her? What does Penelope Sykes want to do with her life? Well, besides finding Parker and becoming a lifeguard, she wants to save her family. Why? Have you seen the president of SimNation? Better yet, what went down at Hopes Peak Academy recently, where the student council was murdered? Top it all off with the rise in MMBCs, SimNation is going to shit.

That’s where Marisa Hensley and her friend’s BC comes into play. According to the pair, while they’re hosting a BC, they’re also taking people to the island they’ll be on to save. Penelope has to say, that’s a brave thing to do, and she wants in: for love and for safety. Of course she’ll have to convince her family to move: her parents are retired and have wanted to go somewhere warmer than Minnesota, and it’s not like any guys are knocking down Palmer’s door at the moment (the worst part is giving up her Ashlyn Rosenberg tickets in June, as well as her Lissa Green tickets in July). Penelope hopes she can find the right words, lest she trips up.

Besides, people are going to be swimming still, even in the end of the world. She’s going to need to focus on her athletics and be dedicated to her work as a lifeguard depending whether or not she wins.

Honeydew “Dew” Sprinkles 2.0 for @sevenleafsimblr‘s WHBCx2!

The last time we saw Dew, ze was bright-eyed and excited to travel the world, capturing everything that fascinated zer through the lens of zer camera. Since then, things have changed drastically. After living a somewhat sheltered life with zer family, the Sprinkles, Dew’s travels have opened zer eyes to the injustices of the world. Between MMBCs on TV, the Hope’s Peak incident on the news, and the war zones through which zer travels have taken zer, ze has come to the conclusion that things have to change. Dew has taken it upon zerself to train both body and mind, becoming an adept survivalist and aficionado of conspiracy theories. Ze hopes these skills will come in handy when starting a new life outside of SimNation - of course, meeting someone like-minded like January is an extremely welcome addition.

 Can you tell me a little about yourself? Oh hon, there’s no need for all the formalities. Belle Almond Saunders? Famous family, gorgeous face; ring a bell, darling? ((A/N: It doesn’t.))

What was your daily life like before… coming with us? It’s been awful boring lately. My ex-girlfriend is pregnant with my baby, and I’m stuck on call all the time. Of course, that doesn’t mean anything, I’m still taking you seriously, darling! She’s no big deal. I just hate spending time at the house; it’s so empty there. I guess… I guess it won’t be awful sharing a house with others. Some company will be nice. And I’m always in the market for new friends!

On a scale of 1 to 100, how scared for the future are you? (I’m a 210!) 0. Why would I be? Even if this supposed… apocalypse happens, I’m perfectly fine. I have all my money safe in bank accounts, I’ll still have my looks, and I can just rebuy any of my stuff. I’m too popular to worry about things that aren’t going to happen, anyhow. Just stop worrying so much, hon!

Just wondering… did you see my first BC attempt? (Oh, God…) I don’t bother myself with silly reality TV shows. I mean, obviously I’m making an exception, for… for you. But don’t let that get to your head too much, babe, anyone would have done it ;)

Are you afraid of anything? You don’t have to say if you don’t wanna… I’m afraid of water. Of course not. Other than losing my adoring fans, of course! *laughs*

Did you have a criminal record back home? Not that I suspect anything will happen… Don’t we all? I’m famous, as you know, so I’m sure I don’t need to bore you with the details. You probably read all about them in the tabloids ;) ((A/N: Again, you didn’t. She doesn’t have anything serious; a few underage drinking charges.))

What do you like to do for fun? I’m gonna try to get challenges set up based on what you guys like to do! As everyone knows, I’m a damn good singer and actor. I suppose off-stage, I enjoy the chance to relax. I like to sit down and read… But don’t go spilling my secrets, now!

What’s your love life history like? If you feel like sharing… Oh, honey, that’s a long and complicated road. I’ve had… nine girlfriends since freshman year of high school. Varying levels of seriousness. As I’ve mentioned, my most recent ex, Cerise, is pregnant. She’s due in a few weeks for our daughter. We broke up almost 7 months ago, but we’re still on good terms. Nothing you have to worry your sweet little head about!

Do you have anything important to tell us? I’m sure anything I could think of, you already know about. So nope!

Is there any special reason you signed up for this BC? What, are you not special enough on your own, darling? I… After Cerise and I broke up, it’s been kind of hard. But that’s no excuse not to throw myself back into the dating game! And with a dear as cute as you, I could hardly resist entering the competition.

And now for the OOC notes. Tips on writing her: She has quite a thing with pet names. Obviously. It’s not even a flirtation thing, really, she just talks like that to everyone. (I imagine her with the slightest bit of a southern accent for whatever reason?) And she really does think she’s all that. It’s quite dramatic. (You can tone it down a bit if it gets to the point of annoyance.) And you can ABSOLUTELY draw her... holy heck yes pls
