Day 39/100 #the100dayproject Today in my pursuit of playing with different art/writing styles to find my own I did some #masterstudies of other #picturebookauthors and #picturebookillustrators I studied each story noting the problems, inciting incidents, ways they escalated the story and resolutions and then made a #sketch from each book to add to my notes not only to try their styles, but also, I remember more from seeing a picture than From just reading my notes. I learned a lot from each and this is just a sampling from the stack I went through. Now to take these back and get a whole new stack to study.
