You ran your hands over your hair once more, trying to hide a yawn as you listened to Father James’ sermon.

Fuck was this boring. Of course you had to be shipped to this honky tonk town, and attend mass with your beloved aunt. There was nothing wrong with your aunt of course, you loved her to death, but you would have preferred not to be involved in any of this-

“Oh, what a beautiful passage, don’t you find Y/N?” Your aunt whispered to you, smiling a tired old smile. You loved her.

“Yes, it was very beautiful.” You acquiesced, accepting the hand she put on your knee.

It was only when your aunt stood to go greet Father James did you notice the woman sitting beside you, jumping out of your skin.

Her eyes wrinkled, sharp blue eyes surrounded by black Kohl watching you as she pushed her white hair back.

“Am I that ugly, child? I thought I looked half decent today when I stepped out.” She laughed, elegantly hiding her teeth as she laughed. You had never seen her in your life, eyes taking in as much detail as you could.

“Oh god no, Im so sorry ma’am, you surprised me is all. You look great today.” You said, hoping she wouldn’t mention any of this to your aunt, or possibly even to Father James.

Her gaze was steady and unblinking. It was terrifying, if you could honestly say so. She looked like she was reading your thoughts, or more like, not being able to with how badly she frowned.

“My, I must say, I dont recall ever meeting you here, Miss..?”

“Y/N!” You supplied, shaking the hand she offered-

Her grip on your hand turned harsh, visibly not the strength of a old lady like her-

“My, nothing? Oh what fun. Tell me child, have you met any... beings, as of late, that haven’t gotten out of your head?” She asked quietly, releasing your hand from her crushing grip, patting her dress as if she needed it.

Her words were smooth, but they cut you deep, as if she could-

“Read minds? Yes, you’ve mentioned that already, but that seems to be all.” She whispered, huffing loudly as if she was angry, sitting too close all of a sudden. You had to escape, you had to get out-

“Dear, I think you should sit down and breath. I am not going to harm you, I am only here to... guide you, we shall say.” The old woman continued, smiling as you did as told and sat back beside her, listening as Father James started his sermon again. Your aunt sat at the front, the traitor, unaware of what was happening.

“You smell like him, you know. He imprinted on you, by accident mind you, but still, it is quite dangerous for your kind.” She was smiling so widely that you were sure now that she wasn’t human, eyes brightening a bit more.

“W-what do you mean?” You tried, voice too weak to summon anything other than the whisper that escaped you. It didn’t matter though it seemed, she had heard you perfectly well, brushing back her white curls, pretending to listen to the sermon, nodding.

“Oh darling, the man you met the other night. Tall, equally white hair, most likely drop dead gorgeous?” She suddenly looked 50 years younger as she turned to look at you, red lipstick clashing with her paling white skin.

“He touched you, didn’t he?” It came out from between her lips sounding cold, but her wide fluorescent blue eyes said different, curiosity shining brightly in them. Nothing felt right. You felt like you couldn’t breath, feeling as if nothing of this was real-

“I touched him. I bumped into him and he picked me up.” You shot back, surprising her as you tried to regain a semblance of power, remembering the dazed man’s surprised and kind eyes.

“What an interesting turn of events! I must say, I am impressed. Not only have you made his brothers and the Incubi world turn upside down, your also partly invulnerable to Succubi powers.” She seriously noted, scooting closer as if she could see the answer in your eyes. Something brushed against your ankle, but you ignored it, captivated by her gaze.

Nothing of what she was saying made sense, Incubi? Succubi? Childrens tales, nothing more than a silly tale told by the church to children... right? No, it was surely the Host wafer that your aunt had given you that was rotten and poisoned you. Yeah, that was surely it.

God, if only-

“Honestly, a rotten Host wafer.” She huffed as she turned her gaze away, rolling her eyes.

“Look darling, Incubi are exactly like mortal men; stupid, handsome, and driven by sex.” She looked mentally exhausted all of a sudden, rubbing at her temples, revealing a scar on her forehead in the shape of a round. The elder woman rose gracefully, her eyes back to the now dull blue they had been at the start, combing over your form one last time.

“If you truly wish to summon him, do so through your desire for him, either for protection or for... assistance, in personal matters.. He will most likely find his way to you within the following hour. You will need him just as much as he needs you.” She finished, turning as if to leave, lingering as you watched her.

“What is that saying again? ‘Speak now or forever hold your peace’? Spit it out.”

“I- ma’am, I appreciate all of this advice.. but if I may ask... who are you?” You asked, knowing deep down what the answer was. You had felt it, felt it between your ribs, in your beating heart. Her fluorescent blue eyes and never-ending knowledge of your inner thoughts were far from normal, and so was the cigarette she magicked before your eyes, watching you as if she had just struck gold.

“I am.. The Handler. I am the Succubus Ruler of all Incubi and Succubi.” She walked away from you then, looking confidently forward as she exited the church, lighting the cigarette between the final pews.

Finally elated to be done with Father James’ sermon, you stepped out of the Church to await your aunt-

“Y/N L/N?” Came the voice of a man, smooth, young but deep, accent reminding you of-

You turned hurriedly in excitement, heart racing until your eyes met with a platinum blond haired man, resembling the man who had occupied your mind ever since. Mild disappointment floored you until the old woman’s words came to mind:

He had imprinted on you, it was dangerous for humans, this was most likely another being of his kind.

“Ouh, that hurts cutie, I can smell the disappointment from here! I simply wanted to come meet my brother’s- Hey!” Said the man, grinning like a cat until you turned and sprinted with all of your might away, away, away.

Otto found himself looking down at the box of homemade cookies, cringing at the Church’s name. It shouldn’t be anywhere near your name, defiling such a beautiful name like yours was a crime.

He felt petty, reaching out and dragging a long sharp nail against the sticker, careful to not cross out your own name by accident-

“Your acting ridiculous Otto.” Came Axel’s teasing voice, surprised as he watched Otto jump out of his skin for what seemed to be the 70th time this week. What was going on?

“Are you.. okay, brother? You dont seem to be well.” Axel asked after a beat, knowing he had to confront him about it. For the first time in all of their lives, Otto seemed unfocused, out of it, mind drifting and constantly asking them to repeat themselves. They didn’t mind it much, but something was wrong. It had to be-

“Im sorry Axel. I...I keep feeling this... tug, of sorts.” Otto quietly muttered as he stared down once again at the sticker, entranced. It unnerved Axel for a moment before realizing this was serious, this was important. He walked over to his brother slowly, tail swishing out of anxiousness, feeling entirely out of his depths.

“Otto?” Axel asked softly as his clawed fingers met his brothers skin, receiving no answer for a long moment.

“Go see her, maybe after you do, youll stop feeling it. Maybe shes calling for you.” Axel said after a beat, deciding to comfort him brother instead of further pushing him into despair. Even if nothing would amount from an Incubus pining for a mortal. He smirked as he watched Otto turn to him, disbelief written all over his face.

“You dont understand brother-“ Otto tried before Axel waved his hand, not wanting to listen to the ‘why’.

“No, you’re right, I really dont, but if you really think you are her soulmate, shouldn’t you be going to see her?” Axel asked his brother, smelling his despair turn into agitated excitement. He smirked, watching and listening as Otto ran out of the house.

No matter how Oscar or he felt, and no matter what happened, Axel came to a conclusion as the distinct lingering scent of Otto’s desperate yearning met his nose:

In conclusion, CB was f*cked up because he was with absolutely no control. Usually, HM is behind, controlling his akumatized victims from his lair. Paris  / the world is destroyed, CB is all alone for who knows how much time and just wants LB’s earrings to fix things up. He probably won’t do it the right way since he’s not himself, but I don’t see CB as a bad person, just a broken person. 

Also, it proves that they CAN’T be together before HM has been defeated. As civilians, HM targets Marinette to akumatize her. As heroes, they can’t know each other’s identity for pretty much the same reason.

Helping Hand (Oneshot)

Never thought the day would start any better when you were rushing to go to your school. Did I mention it was raining to add on your wonderful day. As soon as you got in your class, you were soaking wet and thank god you’re not that late. You take a seat beside your friend who was on her phone. “Alarm went off?” she speaks as soon you sit. “You had no idea” you try to find your extra cloth in your bag but before you could the teacher already came in.

All of you were doing your work when someone rushes in. You look up and it was Yunhyeong rushing in and keep saying sorry for being late. “Your crush is late aren’t you going to ask him why?” you ask your friend who was still working on her project and look up on him when he was making his way to his seat. “Yah he just a normal guy for me. I would rather ship you with him you. You both would look better together” she bump your shoulder and you just laugh it off.

After the class, you were making your way to the locker room to change while keep searching for your cloth inside your bag. “I thought I put it in here” you mumble quietly when you suddenly bump into someone. “Ah, I’m sorry. I didn’t look where I’m going” you look at that person and it was Yunhyeong. “It’s okay. I did that on purpose” he chuckles and you raise your eyebrow. “Why would you do that?” he points at the sign saying wet floor.

“Oh..Thank you then” he pats your head walking pass you. You finally remember that you left on your bed. “Oh God! You got to be kidding me?!?!” you drop your bag and let out a heavy sigh. You felt someone was tapping your should and when you turn around it was him again. “I thought maybe you want to borrow my shirt?” you look at his hand as he offered his clean and dry PE shirt. You keep thinking either you should take it or not. Maybe he's planning something. “You don’t trust me even when you almost slip?” he let out a chuckle and you take the shirt.

He turns back leaving you there looking back at the shirt “Wait you were late, how come you’re not wet?” you turn to him and ask. “People invented umbrella for something” he shouts finally leaving you alone in the hallway. “This guy is sweet” you make your way back to the locker room.

It finally ends school for today and you were waiting for your friend in front the front gate. You got a message from her saying she can’t go with you. You let out a sigh and continue your way to the grocery store. You ask your friend if she could come along with you but guess she had other plans.

You pick all the stuff that your mom ask you to buy and after paying it, you finally make your way to your house. Suddenly your stomach start to growl “When was the last time I ate?” you look at your watch and it almost reaches 8 p.m. You stop by the BBQ store to grab some meal.

You look through all the menu and old women who are in the 40s came. “I’m sorry to bother you but you somehow go to school at (school’s name) right?” you smile back at her and nod. “Ahh~ My son goes to that school too but he didn’t come home yet. I bet his hanging around with his friend again” she mumbles and you let out a chuckle. “Don’t worry ajumma. He’ll be back soon.” you reply and she sent you a smile.

“Well he better be cause he promised me to help me with the store. He has already been avoiding it for a while now.”

“Umm... If you want any help with the store I would happy to help you. I'm used to helping my mother in the kitchen.Maybe I could help” she shook her head. “Aniya, it’s okay. I don’t want to bother you with your stuff” you took her hand and shook with a smile. “I really wanna help you” she finally agree with it. “You can come tomorrow. I was about to ask for your order but seeing you wearing that shirt remind me of my son. I just order you the special one and it’s my treat.” she left your table and went back in the kitchen.

~The Next Day~

After you finish with school, you make your way back to the restaurant. “Anyeonghaseyo ajumma” you bow to her as soon as you enter. “Oh~ you really came. My son won’t believe me” you raise your eyebrow at her. “Your son?” she nods while handing you an apron. “Nae, I told that a sweet young lady would like to help with the restaurant and he didn’t believe me. I even told you both in the same school.”

“Don’t worry ajumma, I’m here now” you both smile and she took you to the kitchen to show around and where you will be working at.You were working really hard and you didn't even take a small break even though you can. As you were cleaning the table near the door, there's a guy wearing a school uniform "Welcome to- ouh? Yunhyeong?" he was also shocked when seeing you here. "______? What are you doing here?" he asks you with a shock still on his face.

"Ahh~Yunhyeong-ah, you finally back. This is the girl I was talking about isn't she nice?" you point at him. "So she was your mother?" he smiles and nods. "You know her Yunhyeong?" his mother asks him. "Nae. She's ______"

"Ah. This girl that you were telling me all this time. She's really pretty indeed" you look back at him and he just rubs the back of his neck. "He really likes you a lot of cause won't stop talking about you."

"Omma you can stop embarrassing me now. You should go back in the kitchen. Who knows maybe someone makes a mistake with the dishes" you chuckle and she sent him a smile saying to ask you out. After that she left you both alone. "So... you're the girl" you chuckle as he suddenly acts shy not like yesterday at school.

"Well yea... cause her son keep coming home late. Might as well helping around here" he nodded. "But now that you here maybe I won't be late if you can help me around every day" you laugh at his cheesy words. "I won't mind being your helping hand" you both laugh and got back to your work as he keeps playing around with you.

1. What are you top five fandoms right now?

Okay so #1 is of course Kingsman XD and I always find myself getting sucked back into Star Trek, Star Wars, The Hobbit/LotR and MCU even if I am more of a consumer in those fandoms.

2. What are your top five go to books right now?

The Lord of the Rings trilogy by JRR Tolkien, the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, the Johannes Cabal series by Jonathan L. Howard , Dune by Frank Herbert  and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman (yeah I know that technically it’s more than five but :P)

3. What are your top five go to movies right now?

Wonder Woman, The Hobbit, The Mummy, Pacific Rim and Kingsman

4. Do you have pets?

Yep :D A black kitty named Thorin, King under the bed, because he’s a scaredy cat who doesn’t like anyone else but me being in the apartment XD

5.  If you could have dinner with one person from history dead or amongst the living who would you have dinner with?

I would be like shy and embarrassed as fuck, but Colin Firth because it would be well worth getting to stare at his face for a whole dinner.

6. Do you like pumpkin spice?  Is it a problem for you that I absolutely adore pumpkin spice and will willing cut someone for a pumpkin spice latte?

I adore pumpkin spice stuff. Not to the extent on cutting someone for a pumpkin spice latte though and I would probably tell you to chill a bit if I saw you do it, but I would also bring you back a latte every time I go buy myself one.

7. Do you have a favorite holiday?

I like them all, but definitely Christmas. I am one of those who start listening to Christmas music as soon as Halloween is over and will be filled with Christmas cheer for two months and won’t shut up about it. 

8. Do you have a favorite rare fandom pairing, a pairing that’s hard to find fic for or not as popular?

I have many. But since I have watched the Mummy this week here’s one of my all-time favourite that I am blessed from time to time to find new stuff about. Jonathan/Ardeth Bay. Yeah that’s right. Always shipped them, always will.

10. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal? Just to make you feel better I do, I sleep with the bear my husband bought me when my Dad passed away.

I have a T-Rex and a dragon chilling on my bed, they’re soulmates and protect my dreams. Also on the furniture directly in front of my bed there is a group of 5 varied stuff animals and another one of 5 Piglets watching over too.

11.  Do you like doing crafty hobbies like sewing, knitting, metal working, or do you enjoy hobbies that involve collecting?

My only “craft” is writing. I sometime (like one every few months for a couple of days) knit, but it’s more to keep my hands occupied. I was collecting rocks when I was younger, but now the only things I collect are wips fics and books XD

1. what fandom have you been involved in that’s your favorite to date?

Definitely Kingsman. I have met so many people that I know are going to be life-long friends through it and my precious @insanereddragon Just for that Kingsman will always be my favourite.

2. what did you want to grow up to be when you were little?

An Egyptologue XD Seriously. But who didn’t XD Or a teacher. Even went to uni for the teacher one and after 2 weeks knew it wasn’t for me at all.

3. favorite places to shop online?

Sites like society6 and redbubble so that I can buy fandom related stuff without having to pay a million dollars or go to a convention.

4. first kiss! tell me all about it! and i you haven’t been kissed yet, how do you want it to go down? do you want to be kissed at all?

Ouh boy will you be disappointed with me XD So first kiss was just a normal kiss, no fanfare or anything and frankly not much to write home about. I remember who it was but not the circumstances (first boyfriend) and I don’t really feel like getting kissed again (at least romantically)? Which considering I am aromantic and don’t want a relationship, I should do just fine XD

5. who was the first author that you read with a voracious hunger?

Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman with their DragonLance series. I DEVOURED their books and reread them a bunch of them. They were my first “long for adult” books I read back when I was about 8 or 9 years old.

6. what color looks best on you?

I think red or purple. But maybe other people think differently XD

7. do you read your horoscope?

Just to see how wrong it is XD And to laugh about the “romance” part of it because, yeah no, I definitely ain’t meeting my prince today.

8. what are you most proud of in your life?

That I’ve managed to live alone for the past 3 years and that I have no debts and a nice little emergency stash of cash. I don’t know how I am doing it, but apparently, I am not so bad at that adulting thing.

9. favorite food & why!

CHOCOLATE. I would eat nothing but chocolate if I could. I just love chocolate okay. Anything chocolate. I don’t even have a sweet tooth, I have a chocolate tooth. Seriously. Offer me a dessert and except if it’s for pies, if it doesn’t have chocolate in it, I’ll be ‘meh, okay’. If there’s chocolate,  will take the whole thing and eat it all.

10. what scent do you have the strongest memory association with?

Oh man. Like when there’s been food cooking all day and you get inside the house. No matter what it is that’s cooking, I just have flashes of my childhood where my parents would let some spaghetti cook all day or going over to my grandmother for a birthday or holiday

11. favorite tea flavor!

Probably peppermint, but I do enjoy trying out new flavors when I can :)

Ouh boyyyy, I’ll just compile a list of people I’ve spoken to and I consider as friends (awks if the friendship is onesided xD) that you all should definitely check out because they are literally baes

@jacksonsflip: my very first tumblr friend, she’s literally the sweetest thing. We struck up a convo over one of her Jackson fanarts (she’s fkn amazing like wow how do u art like that???) and then we found out that we had so many things in common. One small convo turned into hardcore kpop spazzing and we ended up discovering other sides of each other and honestly, there’s no regret there. She’s a big GOT7/BTS/Vernon trash so if you’re interested in either three, def talk to her. Like I said, she’s the sweetest thing.

@mansae-for-seventeen : okay so for this friend, i found out her tumblr thanks to her jeongcheol fic ‘Gay Chicken’ (that you should DEFINITELY read if you’re into jeongcheol because i’m pretty sure it’s become a classic in the fandom by now. It’s THAT good). She’s such svt trash but it’s okay because I’m the same so we basically trash together. If you ship gyuhao/jihancheol/eunhae, you have to talk to her because she has the best headcanons. Even if you don’t ship it, talk to her because she’s amazing and hilarious. And her fics are A+.

@ragific: oh boy, this friend is… ahem. So like mansae-for-seventeen, I was reading ragi’s fic on AO3 when i discover that she had just created a tumblr. So, unabashedly, I reach out to her and strike up a conversation. One of the best decisions of my life because she’s amazing. We hit it off pretty much straight away because we’re both bangtan trash and essentially have the same ships. We’re lowkey in a love hate relationship because she ruins my life with her fics and I ruin hers with my lack of updates and random life-ruining discoveries. If you’re into jikook, you HAVE TO read ‘Don’t Think, Don’t Speak, Just Smile for Me’ and ‘On Patrol’ both by her (pretty sure they’ve become a must read in the fandom). Also, if you’re minjoon trash like me, ‘It’s Just Kissing, Not Rocket Science’ has an amazing plot and a must read. She might not have many fics but she pours heart and soul into each chapter so they are always A+. Definitely talk to her cause she’s amazing (although very trash xD).

@hughosh: we don’t talk that much but she’s an amazingly sweet and cute person from our little interactions x) Huuuuuuuge Hoshi stan and pretty sure she ships jihan and jeongcheol SO talk to her if you’re into that. Again, she’s hella sweet and v nice so go talk to her!

@dyegu: like hughosh, we don’t talk much but they are so amazing nonetheless. Their bangtan oneshots are f k n amazing, just like little gems of pure pleasure, (god bless them) so definitely go read them on ao3 under the same name (especially if you ship jikook). They even wrote a minjoon oneshot for me which i remain forever grateful for (not to mention how they nailed the characters and dynamics like wow).
