I'm obsessed w the intimacy implied in sharing a body. John is literally his eyes, he's inside his skin, you just can't get more intimate (and codependent) than that. I'm also obsessed w the ways their relationship, by necessity and by choice, is not strictly platonic or romantic. They're not dating, they're not strictly friends, they're just wrapped around each other like parasitic vines and they don't know where one ends and the other begins. And I'm super normal too btw.
