Do you think you'll ever put together a book of your photography?
I actually have had a book of my photography already published. Although it was only one copy and went to a very dear friend of mine, who I knew would appreciate what each picture meant to me. As to having a book published for the public, if the opportunity arises and everything feels right, I would love to be able to share my work in paper form. Photos feel so different when you hold them in your hands. You can relate to them better, and really feel like it’s an actual person in your photo, and not just a picture of a model. There’s a real human being there, who’s life was immortalized for just an instant. You get a better feel for the energy and life of the day, and the spirit in the setting. Having a book to give to people to enjoy would be very life changing for me. But I don’t think my book would just be a book… I wouldn’t be able to just stop at photos. I’d need poems and relics of each day pictured, and it might turn into more of a journal. Justin James Muir did a beautiful book not too long ago and has inspired me to do more with my photos as well, and to reach out to a cause and to have a meaning. Here it is: http://bookofbeards.com/
