I'm a little late but better now then never.

The self help group got cancelled in the morning via email and I was already in Vienna by the time I read it. Bought myself desperately needed new shoes as the old ones were falling apart, went to 3 different libraries bc the books I need are all over the place, and then I met an old acquaintance randomly, who just started their studies after having been abroad for the last few years and had gotten lost in the main building of the university looking for the correct lecture hall. Since I had some time I showed her around and brought her to the correct room, and then went to Starbucks and please I need to find a different place to work it's getting ridiculous and ridiculously expensive where I worked on my thesis (on what else?).

Then I grabbed some lunch on my way to work, worked, went home with my brother who waited at the station for me with his car, came home, had dinner.

Then I should've worked some more on my thesis but I was tired. I now see that whenever I come home and decide to have 'just 30 min of a break to celebrate the fact I'm home' it ends up with me not doing anything productive for my thesis or for anything, really. Instead I'm like, let me just read a fanfic for a bit, let me just listen to these 3 songs, I just wanna watch a bit of [insert title here].

And what do I end up doing for the rest of the evening? Exactly.

Yesterday, instead of working on my thesis, I watched the documentary 'Minimalism' on Netflix, can recommend it. Then I was very philosophical and maudlin', lamenting on the state of my life and whether I am going the way I wanna go, what my idea of being successful is and whether this matches what I'm currently striving for in life.

In short, I felt... strange? Whatever. You get my drift.
