watching the invictus stream vod for the mouthwashing playthrough anf the inconsistency of how they pronounce anya is making me insane a little bit
#m#theyre not great with daisuke either but thats much further away from my own name so it doesn't grate on my brain the same way#they keep switching the first vowel between a as in ant & a as in. arc?#i cant think of good examples but ykwim#both are valid depending on the person but ? pick one lol#really interesting for me bc when i introduce myself as the 2nd one people sometimes repeat it back to me as the 1st#and i feel like they can't always hear the difference very well which is so strange to me because? thats a different sound?#whatever she spells it wrong anyway πππ /j
