This is what our children are growing up with Regrann from @nishhadoesit - My fucking heart man . 💔😢😢😢 “When the police tell me to put my hands up why do I have to do it because I don’t want to die .” My 5 year old son is asking me this and I’m lost for words . How do I explain this ? What the hell do I say to a 5 year old boy who is afraid that the police will shoot and kill him ? This isn’t a pitty post, this is a WAKE UP POST ...!!! This is REAL LIFE . A mother in OUR city will be burying her son tomorrow because #SacPD shot a young black man . I’m in tears right now because this is my reality . I now have to reassure my 5 year old son that the police won’t shoot him . Smh . I’m sick af .
