Not gonna lie at first I thought (and still kind of do) that when Snake told Ocelot his name is John in Snake Eater he lied and Ocelot did the same, and it was just a mutual joke of theirs that stuck. Because why did The Boss and Zero both always call him Jack and no fucking way anyone would ever name anyone Adamska
