"Well.."

Chester went up to Peseta, clapping once to (hopefully) get the attention of the tired green coin ghost.

"..I 'ave t' say - for the first event we've been 'ost of, we did a good job of it!"

Peseta looked around at the party guests as Chester continued.

"Wo an' Oki are 'appily married now, an' the guests 'oo came to the party enjoyed it!"

He looked at Peseta, who took a few seconds to look back at him.

"I say we could 'ave a go at doin' this sorta fing again sometime! What d'you fink?"

Peseta sighed and finished their drink before responding.

"I can't really say 'no' to that, Chester." They looked from Chester to what tables remained at Loyalty Plaza. "This event isn't completely over either. Wo wants to do one more thing."

"Oh?" Chester began, raising an eyebrow. "What may that be, Peseta?"

"He wants to thank everyone. Wo just needs to gather the energy needed to deliver it first. All the emotions that he felt during this event has left him feeling quite weary."

Peseta took another drink as Chester looked at where Wo was going to be.

"I 'ope 'e doesn't pass out while 'e does it. Y'know 'e won't, but y' nevah know..!"

"Mhm." Peseta nodded, taking another drink.

Soon, Wo found the energy needed to speak in front of everyone.

"I must give everyone a heartfelt thank you for attending the wedding of oneself and Oki~ It has been quite an emotional experience for me and Oki, and we hope to do this again sometime!"

Oki stepped forward, putting his hands together.

"It has been so great to see so many of our friends here celebrating with us, and we hope to find time to see you all again after this event! We hope that you have good journeys back to where you reside after you leave too!"

Wo nodded.

"We won't forget this event either! I'll make sure of it too! Now, you all are free to leave whenever you wish to, and we hope to see you again soon!"

Wo and Oki retreated, going towards the pathway leading to Kitakami hall.

"Oh boy.."

Peseta looked at Chester, who was checking his watch.

"What is it?"

Chester put his hands on Peseta's shoulders.

"We need to get back, pronto! I need to do me rounds, and I bet th' academy's lookin' for you, mate!"

Peseta was quick to put their drink down and run off, summoning their board and holding it under their arm.

"Clavell still needs an answer to the question that he presented to me too!"

Chester looked at Peseta as they dashed away.

"I'll see you in Mesagozaaa!"

Chester looked up at the sky as the sun rose higher. He turned and summoned his own board. Before he took off, he looked back at Wo and Oki.

"Best get goin'!" He looked down at where the Kitakami border was and put on his Paldea Postal cap before speeding off.

...but he didn't get very far before he saw the sleigh.

"I forgot 'bout that." Chester climbed into it and sat with the Wyrdeer reigns in his hands. "Best get you all back 'ome too!"

The sleigh took off after Chester ordered them to use Psychic.

"Aww..!"

"Wawawa-wa?" ("What is it, Ogerpon?")

Ogerpon looked down at an apple she held in her 'hands'.

"We didn't give out the apples! We forgot about them!"

"D-don't worry..!" Spot said, leaning down to see Ogerpon and Pink. "W-we can still eat them..!"

"But I wanted our friends to have them too!"

Spot put a fin to her chin in thought.

"M-maybe w-we can find a-another way to g-give them to our f-friends..?"

Ogerpon nodded, giving her a more cheery look.

"Yeah!" She put the one she held into an apple crate.

Pink stood up and pointed towards where the Mossui guest house was.

"Wawawa wawa-wawa!" ("I see our dads over there!")

Ogerpon went starry-eyed and began running towards them, calling out their names. Spot and Pink watched her run off before acting quick to join her.

a slug echo wanders into where Holes in the Occipital dwells. is its cycle touching the Father? it sees him, every coil, but can he see it? regardless, "wawa" the slug cat echo speaks "wawawa. wa. waaaaaah!" it is a mystery why it doesn't just project awareness of what it says. maybe for the same reason ancient echoes talk even when the other doesn't understand. "wawawa waawa" oh, it vanishes. probably to see if carrion too long of a name remained

I cannot move now. But i am planning to construct rails that would allow my puppet to relocate if i so wished.

"Hey Spot..?"

"Yeah..?"

"What's that word you say when you have a big problem?"

"...a d-dilemma..?"

Ogerpon and Spot were quiet for a few seconds.

"..d-do you have a-"

"We have a dilemma!"

Spot tilted her head a little.

"..a-about what..?"

"Well.."

Ogerpon and Pink brought forward the apple crate. There was a small amount inside.

"I s-see.."

"We're gonna run out of apples before we go home!" Ogerpon reached in and picked one out. "And I wanted to give them to everyone too.."

"Y-you did know that the amount w-wasn't going to l-last f-forever...right..?" The Malamar asked. Ogerpon looked at her and nodded, her face a little pouty.

Pink took one out in each hand and looked at them, comparing their sizes as Ogerpon and Spot continued to talk.

"..a-and you did say that w-we were to get some t-too.."

"But that was at the wedding!" Ogerpon said in a quick way. She calmed down as she spoke again. "...but here, there's..."

Spot and Ogerpon spoke at once.

"..a lot more to give them to.."

"W-we just have t-to accept that n-not everyone's g-gonna get an apple b-before we go home, Ogerpon." Spot picked up one of the few that were in the crate. "But, what we c-can do, is count them b-before we go out again..!"

Ogerpon nodded and looked into the crate. She was then heard mumbling and seen pointing at each one.

"There's twelve left!" she said, looking at Spot as she held onto the side of the crate.

"And, when y-you take away three, one f-for each of us, w-what does th-that leave..?

Ogerpon tapped her chin. Before she could give the answer, Pink did.

"Wa." ("Nine.")

"Aww, I was gonna do that, Pink..!" Ogerpon looked at her, face pouty.

"N-nine apples left. Three each, t-to take around to everyone, a-and three left over." Spot said after her siblings looked up at her.

"I sh-shall take these three, a-and put them back at where our h-hammocks are, a-and these three t-to give out." The Malamar looked at the remaining apples, then at Ogerpon and Pink. "A-and you t-take the r-remaining six. D-does that sound g-good..?"

Ogerpon looked at Pink. Both looked at Spot and nodded.

"Yeah!"

"Wawa-wa-wa!" ("Sounds good to me!")

"You g-go around, and I'll c-catch up with you l-later..!"

Ogerpon and Pink got to see Spot dash away towards where Wo and Oki were before the Tinkaton picked up the apple crate and they started going down the beachfront.

"We have a mission, Pink!"

"Wa-wawa, 'Wawa-wa-wawawa'!" ("I call it, 'Operation Apple-giver-outers'!")

"Yeah! Let's go give them to our friends!"

Spot stopped outside of where Wo and Oki had set up and looked at the sky. As she looked at each one, Wo made his way over.

"One was wondering about the current state of you and your siblings' apples. It..looks like there's not that many left.."

Spot turned to face him.

"Y-yeah.. We f-found out that th-there's t-twelve left, whch, i-if we take three away for us, w-we're left with nine... ...it upset Ogerpon a l-little, because n-now not everyone's g-gonna get one b-before we go home.."

Spot showed him the three that were in each arm.

"These ones a-are for us...a-and these ones a-are for who I g-get to give them to."

Wo held the apples after Spot gave them to him.

"We'll make sure that nothing happens to them, Spot. You don't mind if we find a way to share them between us all? You did hear what Ogerpon keeps stating about these fruits~"

"Th-they're really b-big and crunchy a-and g-good..!" Spot nodded, looking cheery. "I-if I see her while I'm g-giving out these ones, I'll s-say w-what you said..!"

Wo nodded. He didn't get to move before Spot hugged him.

"Th-thank you...!"

Wo returned the hug, adding in a nuzzle.

"You're welcome~!" The snail waited for Spot to look at him. "Now, you best get back out there and keep building up that confidence~!"

Spot let go of Wo and started to make her way down the beach.

"I sh-shall..! S-see you l-later..!"

Wo waved at her until she left his sight. He looked up at the sky for a few seconds, before turning and heading back to where the family's hammocks were. There, he put the apples into Oki's picnic basket.

Spot found herself stopping again to look at the sky once more as she dashed down to the main event area.

"Th-the stars are n-nice tonight..~"

After a minute or so of looking at the night sky, Spot resumed her journey.

"I...need to talk to you about something..."

Wo showed a lot of nervousness as his words got Oki's attention. He worked to calm himself after letting Oki hold his vines.

Oki tilted his head a little. "What's on your mind, Wo? Are you Ok too? You look and sound very nervous..."

Wo looked to the side, then at Oki. Tears threatened to well up in his eyestalk.

"I wish...to pospone our wedding... It is just that...this has never happened to us before...and you do know about how anxious I can get sometimes..."

As Wo tried to find what to say next, Oki nodded. He looked at Wo's vines as he gently rubbed them with his thumbs.

"Wo... Please look at me, Wo..."

"I'm sorry..!" Wo managed to get out through slight sobs. "P-please don't be upset..!"

Oki let go of one of Wo's vines and reached up to gently wipe the water away from the snail's eyestalk.

"The same goes for me too, Wo! Like you say, nervousness is part of everyone. Words can't be more true there..!"

Wo waited until Oki's hand moved away from his eyestalk before leaning his cheek onto it.

"So...you're not upset... ...a-about the decision..?" The snail asked as he slowly nuzzled Oki's palm.

Oki shook his head and let Wo see a reassuring smile.

"Not at all..!" He lightly patted Wo's cheek. "Hmm.. ..but that leaves me to wonder...about what we'll do during the time away from Kitakami..."

Wo nodded and nuzzled Oki's hand again.

Soon, Ogerpon and her sisters entered the shrine. They started to talk over each other out of exitement, but were made to go quiet after seeing Wo's negative reaction to the noise.

"Oh.. We're sorry, Papa Wo." Ogerpon looked at Oki. "What's wrong with him, Papa Oki? He's all sad..."

Oki tried to explain the best he could.

"W-wait..." Spot began, motioning to Wo and Ok as she spoke. "I-if we're g-gonna p-pospone the wedding... ...w-what are we g-gonna do until the r-right time comes to have it?"

The family began to voice their opinions. As they tried not to alk over each other, Pink tapped her chin in thought.

"Wawa!" ("Hey!") Her sudden shout managed to get everyone's attention. "Wa-wawa wawa-wawa!" ("I have an idea!")

The family gathered around the table to hear what the Tinkaton had to say.

"Wawa....wawa-wawawa?" ("What if...we went on vacation?") She shrugged after asking. Her parents and siblings looked at each other, then back to her. Pink could see that Ogerpon was on board with her idea.

"Now that you say it...vacation does sound quite good..!" Oki showed Pink a happy look, putting his hands together.

Wo nodded, lightly nudging Oki. Oki put an arm around the snail and returned the nudge.

"A-anything to let things calm d-down before the f-festivites i-in Kitakami..!" Spot managed to say what she wanted before Ogerpon get her words in.

"I like it!" Ogerpon's eyes were starry as she turned to see Oki. "Can we go somewhere really nice and sunny, Papa Oki? Can we?"

Oki let ogerpon hold onto his arm as he answered. "We'll see where this idea takes us, Ogerpon~!"

Ogerpon gasped before going back to her siblings. "We're gonna go somewhere sunny!" She ran outside, followed by Pink and Spot. "Yaaay! We're gonna go on vacation!"

After watching them leave, Oki looked at Wo, who was holding onto him and lightly nuzzling against his head.

"I'm going to have to tell Peseta, don't I?"

Oki turned to hold Wo easier and returned the nuzzles.

"You're gonna have to Wo. They're in charge of everything."

"I'll go and do that. But, not right now." The snail gave Oki a loving look. Oki giggled a little as he returned it.

"You want special attention, don't you~?"

Wo nodded, cheeks going pink. "Please..~?"

Oki pulled himself a little closer to the snail and gave him a tiny peck.

"That I can provide~ But you have to go visit Peseta afterwards."

"I know."

As Wo and Oki retreated to their sleeping area, the three siblings occupied themselves outside by seeing who could get from the lighthouse to the Pokemon Center first.
