looking at any "list of fictional trans women" on like, wikipedia or some shit always reads like
Pella Azure / Electropunk VI: Rise of Gadgets (xbox one) / A shrewd scrap merchant from the burrows of Rom, Pella assists the player by selling them cords and other objects. The lead writer Jeff Danson said on twitter stated that Pella is "some kind of transgender or something"
Jacqueline Rogers / So... That Just Happened! (gweebu streaming exclusive) / Proudly portrayed by up-and-coming cisgender actress Karla Whyte, Jacqueline navigates life at Wilson Academy as she deals with the fallout of Nick Johnson discovering she has a penis after making her 38th snide joke about having a penis or having been born a man. Rainbow Yes magazine nominated Jacqueline Rogers as number 12 on "Best LGBTQ Characters in Television 2017"
Rachel Orville / Predation (Netflix) / To prepare for her role as Rachel Orville, Briana Turk received breast implants, a vaginoplasty, facial feminization surgery, gastric bypass, a brazilian buttlift, botox, a brazilian wax, laser hair removal, eyelash extenstions and lost 100 pounds to not ick out the viewers by looking too much like a man. Rachel Orville is a tough-as-nails aggressive laundromat employee who tells her coworkers like it is about what it's like to live each day as a trans woman. Writer Debra Yates was given "best written transgender woman" award at the streamy awards, citing her experience as an ally of the gays as inspiration for her writing.
Ray P. Mannindress / Dr. Poop (Comedy Central) / Ray is a muscular, deep-voiced woman who works as an elementary school janitor, every episode she appears in she is shown abducting a different child
Bobina / Sonky and Pilg (Adult Swim) / Bobina is 7-foot tall hairy woman in a sundress that is thin enough to show the outline of her penis in certain lighting. When someone uses "he" pronouns for her she turns into a hulk-like monster and destroys her surroundings.

Death of skin peeling patient raises concerns about aesthetic procedures in Brazil
Tumblr media
There are thousands of Brazilians seeking aesthetic treatments to correct what they consider flaws in their appearance. Brazil counts the second-highest number of plastic surgeries in the world behind the United States, according to data from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).
At least 1.5 million plastic surgeries are made annually in Brazil, with 57% being aesthetic and 43% reconstructive, according to the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP). The Brazilian market is so active that hundreds of foreigners come to the country only for plastic surgeries: at least 7% of annual procedures (more than 100,000) are made on foreigners.
Regarding non-surgical aesthetic treatments, the growth is even higher: 56% between 2020 and 2022, which also makes Brazil the second country in the world ranking of non-invasive treatments. Among the most sought-after procedures, according to ISAPS, are botox, hyaluronic acid-based facial fillers, laser hair removal, collagen bio-stimulators, and fat reduction treatments through the freezing of adipose tissue cells.
But with so much demand, the risks to patients are also increasing.
The death of a young man following an aesthetic procedure earlier this month in São Paulo reignited discussions about booking treatments with unqualified professionals, often without medical training, or in clinics that lack the structure to handle emergency situations.

Carpets & Drapes: DPS Girls ft. Venture (AFAB AU) This is a continuation of the headcanons list I made discussing the dps males' personal hygiene and their grooming preferences. My asks are open and all requests are welcome/accepted & nsfw warning for discussions of body hair and genitalia-ish enjoy (they're under the cut)
Elizabeth Caledonia “Calamity” / Ashe: Ashe's the type to keep things groomed down there, often preferring to be completely shaven if she has the energy to. However, if she doesn't have the energy or doesn't mind the hair, it'll be shaven everywhere but her bikini lines. She keeps it well washed and groomed, but she prefers to have it completely shaven.
Mei-Ling Zhou: When she was younger she would make an effort to shave, grooming her pubic hair into a cute little triangle, but now she doesn't have the energy or time to do so. She's too scared for waxes, and she doesn't care for methods that aren't based on renewable energy or resources, so she opts to trimming only. She takes care of it, and likes to keep it fresh still even if it's resembling a bush at times.
Fareeha Amari / Pharah: Fareeha definitely takes pride in how she grooms herself, and her hygiene especially. Almost every shower for her is an everything shower, just with different fonts. She loves to find new ways to trim her pubic hair, and usually likes the landing strip style. Don't offer to take her for waxing or laser removal, though - she won't admit it, but she's terrified of the pain that those can cause.
Vivian Chase / Sojourn: Vivian's classic and likes to keep hers waxed, bare, always opting for a Brazilian. She rarely grows pubic hair now, because she's been doing so since she was 20. It's something she likes to keep constant, even if she has no energy to do it that day she'll still force herself to go get a wax. The constant of knowing that it's coming up is comforting for her, and reminds her that she's still her even with her bionic limbs and body parts.
Olivia Colomar / Sombra: Olivia's another who takes pride in her hair and how well groomed she is. It's something she's always taken the time to focus on when she's showering or if she's having a ‘self-care’ day. The idea of someone going down on her and being greeted with either an unpleasant smell, or hair that's tangled and unkept makes Olivia feel disgusted in herself, so she opts to trim the top parts, while completely shaving her labia. It's important for her to keep some hair, since it helps with friction during sex.
Satya Vaswani / Symmetra: Because of the sensory feeling of shaving as a process, shaving foam or alternatives, the stubble that comes back after a while, Satya opts for laser hair removal when she can. Before, she used to just let it grow while keeping it clean, opting for more of a free landscape down there. Now, she finds that somewhat more overwhelming sensory wise sometimes so she went with laser hair removal for a while. It's not something she'll discuss freely, and doesn't care what her partner's hair is like either way as well as long as it's not unkept.
Lena Oxton / Tracer: Lena definitely likes to grow her pubic hair out, and likes to try different techniques to surprise Emily when she goes down on her. It's fun for Lena, and she enjoys the simple nature of it. It's something only she and Emily get to enjoy and talk about, and she revels in that fact. However, her favourite way to trim her pubic hair is the landing strip (obviously). The minute she heard the name for it online, she had to try it for herself and she's loved it since.
Sloan Cameron / Venture (AFAB AU): Sloan's the type of person that would like to keep it bare with some stubble, as it sometimes causes them gender dysphoria letting it grow out beyond stubble. It's important for Sloan to be comfortable, and if they don't have the time to shave, that's the only time you'll ever see hair that's beyond less than half an inch. It's something they've learned they prefer, and they're not as concerned with their body hair in terms of their gender as they used to be (back when they started their transition). For them, though, sometimes they like to grow it out and feel more masculine in that sense. Sure, no one else is seeing it besides their sexual partner(s), but it's for their sake.
Amelie Lacroix / Widowmaker: Amelie was raised with the belief that it was dirty, it wasn't right to have hair, and it was something to be ashamed of. So, for years she would struggle with shaving and always keeping it bare because she believed this was the right way to go about things, to stay clean and tidy truly. However, now she doesn't care as much for it and likes to let it run wild. She'll clean her pubic hair, making sure there's no odour or tangled hairs, but she's not concerned with trimming or styling it. Amelie doesn't have the energy, and simply doesn't care to because she knows that if someone was going down on her, or seeing the hair, they'd be understanding of it and wouldn't mind.

Super silly question, but how do you get your skin so smooth and glowy? Also follow up (sorry if this is pushing the boundaries) but, what do you use for hair removal? I can never get my skin to look smooth :(
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s not a silly question! These are my favorite body products over the years to help with razor burn/acne/scaring/keratosis pilaris.. as for hair removal I got laser hair removal on my armpits, bikini and brazilian area which was expensive but worth it.. a less expensive method would be to use men’s razors. Women’s razors are a joke if you’re hairy like me :)

ohh how was the laser experience ??
OOOOO ok under the cut bc i wanna give a good breakdown
1. price
idk how much it costs where y'all are from but here its super expensive, so i waited until the place i wanted to get it from had their annual sale. i got 12 sessions for the underarms, brazilian and full legs for 1000 NZD (normally 2000 NZD so i got 50% off)
also the laser place i went to kinda scammed me and said i had to buy this tube of after care cream for like 60 bucks... you don't need to, don't make the same mistake i did....vaseline is fine as long as you don't have any allergies or sensitivities to it
2. the experience
so my first few sessions were a little awkard bc i didnt know what to expect. they essentially made me strip down to my bra. for the first 6 sessions, the pain wasn't too bad, just some light stinging where my skin was more sensitive (like around my ankles, knees and brazilian). but hoooo boy by my 7th session, they turned the settings up and i was physically flinching and sometimes yelping - they would ask if i was ok to continue and i would say yes, but dont be scared to speak up if you wanna take a break!!!!
3. the outcome
they say laser works best if your hair is dark compared to your skin.. so if you have lighter hair and/or darker skin, it might not work as well on you. after the 3rd session, i really started to notice the difference. a few months after i finished my last session, i had minimal and slow regrowth. a few months ago, i bought an ipl machine myself, so now that there's minimal work, i just do it myself at home. i just do my underarms, brazilian and my knees since those are the places that still show some regrowth. i haven't done ANY hair removal on my legs in more than a year. same stuff applies - shave before you do it, moisturizer on after, and avoid showering/sweating/swimming for 24 hours after!!

this is such a first world woman problem yadda yadda yadda or random but i’m so sick of the stigma behind having body hair as a woman. i just saw a tiktok where a girl said she got a brazilian wax and it led to a lot of complications such as ingrown hairs and scarring and all the comments are saying bs like “just get laser hair removal :D” as if that isn’t hundreds of dollars and multiple sessions of literally lasering your skin down 😭. why do we just accept that it’s normal for us to pay for painful procedures like that to just be what….hairless???? why is having hair such an offense for us it makes no sense. instead of going through lasering and/ or shaving (which most of us can agree is annoying) why can’t we just accept that we are adults and we grow hair and being completely hairless is just stupid, unnecessary and time consuming….

How cost-effective is a non-surgical butt lift compared to surgical options?
A non-surgical butt lift is often considered a cost-effective alternative to surgical options due to its lower upfront costs and reduced risk of complications. Non-surgical treatments, such as injectable fillers or radiofrequency procedures, typically cost a fraction of what traditional surgical butt lift procedures like Brazilian Butt Lift or implants would cost. Additionally, non-surgical butt lifts usually require no extended recovery period, which can further reduce the overall expense related to downtime and follow-up care.
On the other hand, while non-surgical methods are more affordable, the results may not be as dramatic or long-lasting as those achieved through surgery. It's also worth considering that non-surgical butt lift procedures are often performed in specialized clinics, such as those found in a laser hair removal clinic in Dubai, which can add to the total cost if multiple sessions are needed. Thus, while the non-surgical approach offers a more budget-friendly option, individuals should weigh the cost versus the expected results and potential need for ongoing maintenance.

Exploring the Lengthy-Phrase Consequences of Laser Hair Removal on Hair Regrowth
Introduction
Laser hair removal is a popular cosmetic procedure that offers a semi-permanent solution to unwanted hair. It involves the use of laser technology to target and destroy hair follicles, preventing them from growing back. While many people have experienced successful results with laser hair removal, there are still questions about its long-term effects on hair regrowth. Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment in the hair follicles. The melanin absorbs the light energy, which is then converted into heat, effectively destroying the follicle without causing harm to the surrounding skin.
Is Laser Hair Removal Really a Permanent Hair Removal Method?
While laser hair removal is often touted as a permanent solution to unwanted hair, it is important to note that results can vary from person to person. Some individuals may experience long-lasting or even permanent reduction in hair growth, while others may require touch-up sessions over time.
The effectiveness of laser hair removal depends on various factors such as skin type, hair color, and hormonal influences. Individuals with darker skin tones or lighter hair colors may not respond as well to laser treatment due to the limited contrast between their skin and hair.
Does Laser Hair Removal Work on the Pubic Area?
Yes, laser hair removal can be used to remove unwanted hair in the pubic area. The bikini line and Brazilian area are common areas treated with laser technology. However, it is important to Affordable laser hair removal consult with a qualified professional before undergoing any treatment in sensitive areas.
Is Laser Hair Removal Worth It?
For many individuals, laser hair removal is worth the investment. The procedure offers a long-lasting reduction in hair growth, which can save time and money in the long run. No more shaving, waxing, or plucking on a regular basis. However, it is essential to consider your individual needs, budget, and expectations before undergoing any cosmetic procedure.

Is Laser Hair Removal Cheaper Than Shaving?
In the short term, laser hair removal may seem more expensive than traditional hair removal methods such as shaving. However, when considering the long-term costs associated with razors, shaving creams, and waxing appointments, laser hair removal can male-friendly laser hair removal be a cost-effective solution.
How Many Laser Treatments Does It Take to Remove Hair Permanently?
The number of laser treatments required to achieve permanent hair removal varies from person to person. On average, most individuals require between 6 to 8 sessions spaced several weeks apart to achieve optimal results. However, it is important to note that some individuals may require additional touch-up sessions in the future.
What Is the Recovery Time for Laser Hair Removal?
One of the advantages of laser hair removal is that there is minimal downtime or recovery period. Most individuals can resume their normal activities immediately after treatment. However, it is common to experience mild redness or sensitivity in the treated area, which typically resolves within a few hours to a few days.

Why More Men Are Opting for Laser Hair Removal: Benefits and Considerations | Novalune Laser
Laser hair removal has traditionally been associated with women, but an increasing number of men are now turning to this effective method to manage unwanted hair. This shift reflects changing grooming standards and the numerous benefits that laser hair removal offers. Here’s why more men are opting for laser hair removal and what they need to consider before undergoing the treatment.
Benefits of Laser Hair Removal for Men
1. Long-lasting Results: One of the primary benefits of laser hair removal for men is the long-lasting results. Unlike shaving or waxing, which require frequent maintenance, laser hair removal targets hair follicles to reduce hair growth permanently. This makes it an excellent option for men who want a low-maintenance grooming routine.
2. Precision and Effectiveness: Laser hair removal is highly precise, making it ideal for removing hair from specific areas such as the back, chest, and shoulders. The treatment can also be tailored to target larger areas efficiently, providing a comprehensive solution for men who struggle with excessive body hair. Additionally, laser hair removal for women and transgender individuals offers similar benefits, ensuring that everyone can achieve their desired look.
3. Reduction of Ingrown Hairs: Shaving and waxing often lead to ingrown hairs, which can be painful and unsightly. Laser hair removal reduces the occurrence of ingrown hairs by targeting the hair follicles, leading to smoother skin and fewer irritations.
4. Enhanced Comfort and Hygiene: Many men opt for laser hair removal to enhance their comfort and hygiene. Excessive body hair can trap sweat and bacteria, leading to unpleasant odors and skin conditions. By reducing body hair, men can maintain better hygiene and feel more comfortable in their skin.
Considerations for Laser Hair Removal
Before undergoing laser hair removal, men should consider the following:
1. Multiple Sessions Required: Achieving optimal results with laser hair removal typically requires multiple sessions. It’s important to commit to a treatment plan and follow through with the recommended number of sessions for the best outcome.
2. Skin and Hair Type: Laser hair removal works best on certain skin and hair types. Men with lighter skin and darker hair often see the most effective results. However, advancements in laser technology have made it possible to treat a wider range of skin tones and hair colors.
3. Choosing the Right Provider: It’s crucial to choose a reputable provider with experience in laser hair removal for men. A skilled technician can ensure that the treatment is safe, effective, and tailored to the individual’s needs. When searching for "laser hair removal near me," especially in Denver, it’s essential to select a clinic with positive reviews and proven results.
For those considering Brazilian laser hair removal or transgender laser hair removal, the same benefits and considerations apply. These treatments are equally effective for all genders and offer a significant improvement in comfort and appearance.
If you're considering full-body laser hair removal, Novalune Laser is the best place to get these services. We pair our state-of-the-art technology with the highest standards of personal care to create an experience customized to your unique goals.

Your Comprehensive Guide To Laser Hair Removal: Transform Your Skin And Boost Your Confidence
Tumblr media
In the quest for smooth, hair-free skin, Wymore Laser believes laser hair removal is a beacon of hope for many. This innovative procedure has revolutionized how we approach personal grooming, offering a long-term solution to the tedious shaving, waxing, and plucking cycle. But what areas of the body can benefit most from this treatment? And what can you realistically expect from the process? Explore our comprehensive guide on how laser hair removal can rejuvenate your skin and boost your confidence.
Understanding Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal utilizes concentrated light beams to target and destroy hair follicles, preventing regrowth and leaving skin silky smooth. It's a game-changer for anyone looking to reduce grooming time, avoid razor burns, or achieve a cleaner, more polished look. But, as with any cosmetic procedure, knowledge is power. Knowing what to expect for each treatment area can help set realistic expectations and increase your satisfaction with your results.
Where Can You Get Laser Hair Removal?
Curious about laser hair removal? Where can you get it done? Read on to find out! Legs: The Path to Permanently Smooth Legs Legs are among the most popular areas for laser hair removal, and for good reason. The promise of ditching the razor and waking up to perpetually smooth legs is incredibly appealing. Treatments can target the entire leg or focus on more troublesome areas like the thighs or calves. Expect several sessions, as leg hair's density and growth cycle can vary widely. Underarms: Say Goodbye to Daily Shaving Underarm hair removal is a favorite due to its dual aesthetic and hygienic benefits. Reducing hair in this area can minimize body odor and make it easier to maintain personal freshness. Sessions are typically quick, After just a few treatments, most clients experience substantial hair reduction. Bikini Line/Brazilian: Embrace Confidence in Any Outfit The bikini area is sensitive, making bikini line laser hair removal an ideal candidate over more painful methods like waxing. You can opt for a simple bikini line clean-up or a full Brazilian. It's a customizable treatment that allows you to choose your desired level of hair removal, with most clients achieving their ideal results within several sessions. Back and Chest: A Solution for Men Too Laser hair removal isn't just for women. Many men seek treatment for back and chest hair, areas where thick, dense growth can be a source of discomfort or self-consciousness. These larger areas may require more sessions for complete coverage, but the results — a smoother, more manageable appearance — are often well worth it. Facial Hair: A Delicate Touch for Delicate Areas Facial hair removal can dramatically improve your complexion's appearance, offering a smooth base for makeup or a clean, bright look for those who prefer to go au naturel. From the upper lip to the chin and sideburns, laser treatments can adjust to the delicate nature of facial skin, providing effective results with minimal discomfort. Full Face and Neck: Achieving Seamless Beauty Full-face treatments can eliminate unwanted fuzz for those looking for comprehensive facial hair removal, giving your skin a soft, seamless quality. Men often choose laser removal for the back of the neck, maintaining a crisp, clean hairline that lasts far longer than a traditional shave.
Setting Your Expectations: What to Know Before You Go
Preparation and Aftercare: Proper preparation and aftercare are crucial for maximizing results. Avoid sun exposure and tanning before treatments, and follow your specialist's guidelines for post-treatment skin care to ensure smooth, irritation-free skin. Customized Treatment Plans: Everyone's skin and hair are unique, necessitating personalized treatment plans. A qualified technician can assess your specific needs and recommend the best course of action for optimal results. Safety and Comfort: With advancements in laser technology, treatments are safer and more comfortable. Discuss any concerns with your provider to understand how they minimize discomfort and protect your skin during the procedure. Choosing the Right Provider: searching for laser hair near me is a difficult task. Not all laser hair removal near me are created equal. Selecting a reputable provider with experienced technicians and state-of-the-art equipment is essential for a safe, practical treatment experience.
Embrace the Future of Personal Grooming
Laser hair removal with Wymore laser offers an enticing promise: permanent hair reduction, smooth skin, and the confidence of knowing your skin is at its best. Whether you're contemplating smooth legs, a bikini-ready body, or a clean, hair-free face, this guide is your first step toward making an informed decision. With the right provider and realistic expectations, you can enjoy the transformative benefits of laser hair removal, turning your dream of perfect, hassle-free skin into a reality.
Laser Hair Removal: Costs, Comfort, and Commitment
Embarking on your laser hair removal journey brings questions about laser hair removal costs, whether laser hair removal is painful or not, and the number of sessions required to achieve smooth, hair-free skin. Here's what you need to know: Costs of Laser Hair Removal Legs: The laser hair removal cost on the legs can vary widely, typically from $200 to $600 per session. The total cost depends on the treatment area size (full legs vs. lower legs) and the number of sessions needed. Underarms: A smaller area like the underarms may cost between $100 and $250 per session. It's a popular choice due to its relatively lower cost and significant impact on daily convenience. Bikini Line/Brazilian: The bikini line laser hair removal cost can range from $150 to $300 per session for a bikini line treatment. A complete Brazilian laser hair removal, which includes more extensive coverage, might cost between $250 and $500 per session. Back and Chest: Given the larger area, back and chest laser hair removal costs can range from $300 to $800 per session. Men typically invest in these areas to manage thick hair growth efficiently. Facial Hair: Facial hair removal costs can vary, with treatments for specific areas like the upper lip or chin ranging from $100 to $300 per session. Full-face treatments might cost upwards of $600 per session due to the precision and care required. Whole Body: For those looking for a comprehensive solution, full-body laser hair removal costs can range from $2,500 to $3,000 per session, offering a value-driven option for complete hair elimination. Comfort and Pain Level Does It Hurt?: The sensation of laser hair removal is often compared to the feeling of a rubber band snapping against the skin. There are many perceptions that laser hair removal is painful. Modern lasers have cooling mechanisms to minimize discomfort, making the procedure bearable for most clients. Specific Areas: Sensitive areas, such as the bikini line or facial regions, may experience slightly more discomfort, but topical numbing creams can alleviate this. Underarms and larger areas like the back and legs tend to be less sensitive. Session Numbers and Commitment General Expectation: Most areas require 3 to 7 sessions to reduce hair significantly. The exact number depends on the hair's thickness, the area's size, and individual hair growth cycles. Bikini Area: For bikini line laser hair removal or Brazilian laser hair removal, expect to need around 5 to 8 sessions, given the area's sensitivity and hair density. Underarms: The underarms often respond well to laser treatment, with clients typically seeing desired results after 3 to 6 sessions.
Is Laser Hair Removal Painful?
While discomfort levels can vary based on personal tolerance and the area being treated, Advancements in laser technology have enhanced the comfort of the process. Most clients report a manageable level of discomfort, significantly outweighed by the benefits of long-lasting hair removal.
Making the Decision
Deciding to invest in laser hair removal involves laser depilation near me, considering the costs, potential discomfort, and time commitment required. By choosing a reputable provider: Wymore laser, and going into the process with realistic expectations, you can achieve the hair-free body you desire, with minimal hassle and maximum satisfaction.
