#Baby#the subtle undertones of Classic Rock#i dont think spn ever used a springsteen song- but even if they did we all watched#we know that they textually stated dean thinks everything is a bob seger song#what im getting at is Seger never wrote a triumphant song in his life#i know i checked. i tried to find one. ONE.#every song is melancholic every song is bittersweet#spn really leaned hard into that didnt they. in the end.#im only just now realizing this and it's a damn bummer#cue me resolving to write a series with a Springsteen vibe or a Petty vibe over Seger#and before you ask Heartbreakers or not the answer is both. very consciously both.
