Pairing: changbin x reader

Warning: nothing much just some fluff.

It was a wonderful date night. You were dressed in a pretty maroon dress with matching high heels. Heels look fun to be worn but they aren't. You can feel the blisters form in the back of your ankle from the pressure of the heels.

“Binnie, can we take a break from walking? My leg hurts.” you said stopping in your path.

“Are you alright, sweetheart? Do you want me to carry you?”

“No, I'm fine. My feets are just hurting a bit from wearing the heels.”

“Are you sure you don't want me to carry you?”

“Yes bonnie. I'll be fine. Just five minutes.”

“Okay.”

You found a bench nearby which you could sit on. You sat down and removed your heels. Changbin got to his knees and inspected your feet. There were bruises here and there. They were bright red.

“Darling, look at this. It would be better if I just carry you.” Changbin said worried.

“But I wanna walk.”

“Okay I have an idea.”

Changbin took away your heels. He removed his own sneakers and put them on your feet.

“Binnie it's so big tho.” you said. “What will you wear now?”

“It's fine. I can tie it down tightly with the shoelace. you don't have to worry about me.”

“How can I not worry about you?”

“Shhh.” He said as he tied the shoelace tightly so they won't come off when you walk.

Changbin got up and offered his hands for you to get up. He picked the heels in one hand and your hands in the other hand.

“Binnie I can't just walk you home barefoot.”

“Of Course you can. Shut up and walk.”

“But binnie…”

“Shhh darling.”

You felt a little guilty he was walking barefoot but you were over the moon by the fact how good he takes care of you.

Future Macky's face during all this is like "wha...is that how it happened, is that what I did?" "So Monkey King really was...a bad guy?" "That's what I believed. What Azure would have you believe." SMELLS LIKE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT MACARONI. "Wukong was on a path to self destruction. We all were." WE??? Curious, he doesn't even sound angry at the monk 👀 Even approving. Yeah, one theory was he internalized Wukong's whole "cause normally you just rush to my rescue!" And tried to free him from the circlet torture.

"Every choices has consequences kid. For someone." He says, while looking utterly downcast. OKAY.

Wowie. Narrative Macky is a FLAVOR. Showing the wasteland, "everyone thinks they're the hero of their own story." "He's even fooled himself." and he's always so calm through it like an experienced war veteran, no judgement just saying how the old history was. This is great insight into his own psyche if you're crazy and tear it apart like a chew toy.

I wasn't the anon about Fluffy's audible sniff but lol, I would've said that.

Agony. This monkey has been put through the wringer and has to look MK up and down to see if its really him. that "you found me." I am *falls to the floor.*

*stares at the camera* I'm gonna be screaming about this in S5 but Macky instinctively reaching for the peach in the memory visage and getting interupted by his old self and just stunned about the fragile innocence and happy times of their past and the longing and tentative yearning and baby steps and him being cut off from MK and Wukong bc of all the golden cracks in the ground. The way his arm falls, his face, HE'S THINKING SOMETHING. *shakes him like a chew toy.*

This is the most vulnerable you're going to see either monkey and YESSS 😭😭😭 WUKONG BEING SO UNSURE AND LOOKING TO MACKY WHO GIVES HIM A SMALL SMILE AND THAT GIVES WUKONG HIS CONFIDENCE BACK HIS STRENGTH TO STAND UP HIS FRIEND WHO WAS SO ANGRY AT HIM IS LIKE. HE'S SAYING ITS OKAY TO BE THE MONKEY KING WE NEED YOU BROOO.

Macky in his own shadowy corner as the Brotherhood gears up for battle we love to see it, man what did he say to Tang again hmm. Yeah they get on fine without you, but then Wukong drops in instantly noticing his bestie AND FIXING HIS CLOTHES FOR HIM LIKE 😭 TOO CLOSE BUDDY. the writers are killing us with this, like??? that's an act of love im sorry and JTTW Wukong is aroace coded btw, this is so <3 he cares and doesn't want Macky's armor to trip him up doing the fight. who ties his shoelaces in the future maybe that's why he his lego print is without armor bc he can't do it without Wukong LOL. and Macky is so flustered and awkward over it this is EVERYTHING to me. his little embarrassed SCOWL.

Royalty duo <3 <3 <3 also Azure's crayon coloring is like that "this is your badness level" meme from Lilo and Stitch and the ShadowPeach nuzzling is a reference to some anime iirc where the two girls were a canon couple 🤔

Love Macky talking about Azure and revenge as if he didn't have a whole episode about that too. Oh he STINKS DOES HE yet you know his scent so well 😂 didn't hear you complaining earlier. Love the teasing. "Don't worry, I almost beat the Jade Emperor single handed once." considering the fall out from that, I should toss you off a cliff for hiding the horrors with your nonchalant but that's just like my other blorbo of you. These two will NEVER communicate and ignore the fine print of the horrors and talk about it differently or make cryptic comments and expressions. cue Macky frowning in the background as he does this tho.

Back on my Nameless bullshit cuz I'm hyperfixating on it again and just today finished replaying Lance's route

Wanted to take this post to infodump about the character designs. Yes we all know the outfits are really strange and aren't co-ordinated at all, especially Red's, but I think at the end of the day, the outfits are the doll's default clothing and since they're just dolls the outfits prioritise design over practicality so it kinda makes sense that a doll's clothes wouldn't translate well into a human body

But I didn't wanna talk about their default outfits, I wanted to talk about their school uniform. They all (excluding Yuri) wear the exact same uniform. Yet they all manage to wear it in a way that highlights their own personality thru it.

Starting with Lance, he wears his blazer buttoned up with a plain and formal tie, showing how plain and straight forward his personality is.

Yeonho wears a bow but it's slightly lopsided, showing he's a bit fancier than Lance's tie, but he's inexperienced and younger than the others so he a lil confused but he got the spirit.

Tei wears a bow, like Yeonho, but it's straighter and more professional, so he's definitely fancier but knows what he's doing.

Yuri's suit is more professional too, as he's a teacher in the school, but he also regularly wears a pair of sunglasses to show how he is the only one of the boys to really care about his appearance as to change it so much, and especially with the choice of sunglasses showing status and how he views himself as cool

Finally, Red doesn't button up his blazer, nor does he button up the top button of his shirt, and he doesn't even wear any tie at all. This shows just how different he is to everyone else and also that he's more of a free spirit who doesn't particularly conform to the majority. Also, not buttoning up blazers/coats and top buttons is an autistic mood, on top of having difficulty with tying bows and ties. I personally headcanon he just straight up doesn't know how to tie knots like that at all and needs Tei to tie his shoelaces for him, but he eventually gets fed up with relying on Tei and just buys velcro instead

I'm not done yet tho cuz now I'm gonna talk about the girls too:

First of all, Soi's uniform is, again, the same as the other girls, but the way she wears it really emphasises her larger than life personality. She wears a ribbon in her hair as well as a bow tie but also with an um,, open,, chest? She definitely cares about her appearance and expresses herself in a very feminine way with her posture as well. Did you know Soi only has 1 sprite? Somebody else who uploaded the character sprites talked about this, but it's very easy not to notice her lack of sprites because of just how expressive her 1 sprite is on its own. It's just so expressive she doesn't need any more than 1 and you don't even notice it!

Shinbi on the other hand, has a formal tie, showing she's more reserved than Soi, but she's regularly seen either with her hands in her pockets or holding a strawberry milk carton, showing that she has quite a laid back attitude, compared to Soi's energy

Eri, I think, is the only character to have 3 different outfit sprites, which is 1 of the few things I would change about the game - I think if the main characters are dolls shouldn't they dress up a bit more? I don't even think Red has a justice warrior sprite, altho that's probably thrown out in favour of the play cg in his route. Eri's uniform is plain but still a bit messy - she has a bow tie but it's lopsided and she doesn't button up her blazer, which shows that she knows her own style and hobbies but isn't too organised or professional about anything herself

I don't rly know what else to add and it's kind of late. Maybe someone else has made a similar post, maybe that person was me, but this is what I made and now I'm posting it so everyone else can see it too :)

At first glance, these looks are fascinating and very vivid in color, pleasing to the eye! Now I’ll just do a chronological order of team RWBY

Ruby Rose.

Ruby the ONCE “weapon geek” of the show, pushing the weapon engineer/blacksmith master vibe with her is great, gives her a lot more personality than the typical goth girl vibe even tho Ruby isn’t anything like an average goth to be dim in her character. She’s fun and pure along with expressive! Even more so when seeing weapons!

Her eyes becoming green is a big change so I’m guessing this design is like a full fledge remake of Ruby/RWBY and you know what I dig it, show writers hardly don’t do anything with silver eyes. The green eyes and green thorn patterns on her feet are so neat! You balanced that out.

You got good amounts of red, white, and black but the yellow strands on her boots are a little out of place, add more yellow than having it be a single shoelace. You could add yellow lenses to the goggles if it helps.

Weiss Schnee.

Queen? Sorry! Queen?... Sorry! Queen! SORRY!!!

Only black and white for Weiss is stunning! Red and blues are still neat too but I just like Weiss looking fashionable since sometimes red and blues make her look like the American Flag, most apparent in Volumes 7-8. That’s a topic for another time tho this design for her is very neat, white as her primary color is clear as snow. The blacks on her collar distinguish her head placement and black jewels… OOOooH! Pretty! Her core however the single red and yellow button is a bit out of place.

This is a good design but she doesn’t look combat-ready. I assume these designs are around Volumes 1-3 or 7-8 but a very long dress would be hard to fight in, I see this outfit as more for a gala, a wedding, or her stay at home in volume 4 than this as a combat outfit.

Blake Belladonna. ((Mori))

Dark gray looks… so good on Blake.

I think she’s my favorite of the four, tied with Ruby. There is plenty of black, the grays are in good placements in the design, and a tiny bow is even cuter for her. She’s sleek and stylish I just love the silhouette but with the buttons, I would just make them all yellow and then add a little more yellow below her waist. Her shoes of them being ballerina shoes I mean… Weiss is the ballerina, not Blake.

The different eye colors with one being purple and the other gold, It’s neat. I think the single purple eye would be distracting unless more purple was added to the design like the yellow.

Overall she’s very interesting and a strong start to a design if you ever wanna tweak it up or draw inspiration from this outfit to make another outfit for her!

Yang Xiao Long.

Her hair in a ponytail is a good way to add more yellow to her outfit. Yang’s hair being loose and big is just a very large mass of yellow to make it harder in adding yellow to her without it being too much. She isn’t the one to cut her hair so just having her hair back is a perfect opportunity to just ease the yellow on her.

She looks fun and screams “Biker Chick” to me. I’m even in love with the shoes-

But I still think there’s too much yellow on her now, the patterns on her sleeves and shirt are very eye-catching…. It’s a lot to focus on up above so less is more for this. The pants are a huge bright distraction too, pale yellow isn’t bad but maybe just having the pants be black would be better. You won’t have to worry about black appearing as Yang’s dominant color, yellow is very bright it’ll still appear as her main color is yellow.

In summary, you definitely did wonderful in having the girls' personalities be clear in their looks, Ruby loves weapons, Weiss is highly professional and a bossy queen, Blake is sleek and hidden, and Yang is a party girl with a motorcycle! A change here and there to mainly Weiss and Yang and you can send the girls to battle!
