sorry for being the way i am but i dont think ill ever be over squid game and how it has one of the most compelling “hiding in plain sight” villains ive ever seen in tv. like sangwoos character arc already makes me feel absolutely insane but the fact it was all done out of greed, and cowardice and shame as result from that greed makes it SO fucking delectable. like also sangwoo as a narrative foil to gihun where in gihun’s case its “this person was always capable of good, but being put in these dire circumstances it brings out his intentions that have always been to help others which he before he wasn’t able to fully act on (due to addiction/capitalism)” and for sangwoo it’s literally the exact fucking opposite. sorry but the fucking character writing in sg/ narrative parallels make me insane every day of my life im so mad theyre making a season 2 because it was perfect as was. i hope gihun does a tap number with the frontman.
