OH soo i saw on one of your posts thaaat you tagged sumn about letting that “pity party” trait go? that uhh self-deprecation and all that as a content creator, how you said it turns people off? and i just wanna tell you it helped me, really. i’m super prone to talking shit about myself and things and your tag helped me realize that sometimes it ain’t necessary. sometimes you just gotta believe you’re liked and appreciated! so yeah. thanks for that vro! you’re a real one 💖🥺

I’m glad it helped you! It can be hard, I know, as a fellow creator to get down on yourself and your creations. But you don’t hurt anyone else but yourself when you talk shit about your own creations, and if you do it a lot it turns people off of you and therefore your works.

Plus! You MADE something, you created something that no one else has done before! And even if it seems like no one cares, there are people who are gonna think your works are the most amazing things ever! 

There are always gonna be down days, but those are the days you should go back and look at old stuff, see how far you’ve come, how much you’ve grown.

It’s not healthy to live off that need for attention from pity, it’s a form of emotional abuse for both parties, and feeds into that whole idea of: “Do they really like me? Or are they just being nice?”.

It’s not healthy, and if you feel like you need the validation of having a bad day you’re going to keep yourself in a negative head-space that will continue to ensnare you in the idea that you have to have a bad day to feel that love.

We are all dealing with our demons, we don’t need to add others to our own.
