Never thought I’d be saying this but Sims 4 has won me over
#i still don’t prefer it over sims 2 but i mean. that was never going to happen#and i know lots of people complain about how simplistic it is & i only have the base game so far so i definitely see that#but i honestly kind of like how minimalist it is#the sims 3 overwhelmed me with how much it had going on & i honestly thought it was going to break my computer#or break itself#but the sims 4 is almost like a massively updated version of the sims 1 in some ways#the simplicity of it lets me focus on the game and finding out what i can do rather than like... getting distracted by weird shit#i’m not really selling it am i#it also just looks nice. now that i��ve got the graphics sorted it’s a pretty game#and it looks fine without cc which the sims 2 does not#so that’s really good#what else do i like... there’s some realism with regards to pregnancies and sim interactions and moods and stuff#and now that i’ve gotten my bearings it’s REALLY easy to build houses. like So easy#i played ts2 right after ts4 yesterday and i was trying to build a house and i honestly wanted the ts4 build tools back#i’m absolutely appalling at building houses but ts4 has made me kind of okay#so i’m excited to keep playing. i started a legacy and i think i’m going to aim to get to generation 5 before i buy any packs#because if i get there then i can be pretty sure that i will actually continue to play this game#and after gen 10 i’ll start a prosperity challenge#i’m still going to keep playing the sims 2 though.. i don’t think that will ever change#personal
