"What about that one? Looks like a good sized ship!" Stede points out after spotting the vessel through his spyglass and once he has the word or approval from his First Mate, Izzy Hands, he shouts it out to the crew. Cheers of excitement erupt from every one of them, some of them quite... blood thirsty. Of course Stede would much rather avoid bloodshed, but, well, this was the life of a pirate. He's come to learn and accept it. Part of his reluctance being because he wasn't exactly the best fighter, if one at all, but after training with the best himself, Izzy Hands, he felt ready. He felt less afraid and was ready to prove himself as both a pirate and pirate Captain, especially since the last ship he chose was cursed. Everyone already dead on board, but this ship? He could see from the distance that they were indeed alive.

"For now." He hears Roach from behind him, a crazed look on his face as he holds his machete in his hand, ready and waiting.

"If we can avoid all the killing, I'd prefer it that way," he holds up his hand when he hears the groans of annoyance and disappointment. "but I'm well aware it can't always be avoided and such is the life of a pirate. Which we are. Including me." He chuckles, then clears his throat during the awkward silence. "But hostages aren't exactly a bad thing either. Keep them alive, find their stashed goods, sell the men for money. Man for saaaale~" He sings out loud with a proud smile, choosing to ignore Lucius' eye roll and groan of disgust. "Now, should they--"

Sudden roars from his crew erupt as they all surge forward, weapons drawn. "Oh, shit, are we there already?" Stede questions as he quickly turns around, noticing their ships right next to one another, so he withdraws his own sword, lets out a scream of his own, and also surges forward.

Fights break out on the deck of the invaded ship and though bloodshed was not avoided, none of the lost lives belonged to his crew thankfully. Heck, even Stede was close to having his own kill had he not tripped and fell, allowing Izzy to swoop in and save his life. He got to his feet, brushed himself off and thanked Izzy while praising their teamwork as though Stede assisted. And before Izzy can even scold Stede, Pete comes to inform him of something... troubling below deck. Something he'd want to see. Curious, and concerned, Stede follows him below deck until they reach a back room - a locked room - with a man inside. Was this... a prisoner of some sort? A hostage maybe?

As Pete works to get the lock off, Stede prepares himself. "Do not fear us! Pirates we may be, but I - the Captain - am a Gentleman Pirate. Should you attempt a fight, then I'm afraid I will be forced to--"

"Captain." Frenchie calls Stede looks at the door.

"Oh, you got it. Good. Thank you." He clears his throat and enters the room to get a better look at the man and what he sees, who he sees, shocks the Gentleman Pirate. He stands there, stunned. Confused. And very concerned. "...Thomas?"

You're at the transit station waiting for the train to arrive.

He should be here any minute now...

At last, the train arrives and the person you are looking for steps off the train. It's a boy with brown hair with a buzz cut to the sides and a fluffy auburn mohawk on the top. He's wearing a turquoise top, dark blue jeans, and white Vans. His ocean blue eyes shimmer in the sunlight and he flashes a pearl white grin. You smile widely and gasp.

"Kenta-kun!"

"(Y/n)-chan!"

You both hug tightly.

"How's my favorite cousin doing?" You say happily. "How's the acting career?"

"I'm doing great! And as for acting... I'm going to New York City next month to audition for Broadway! I got the invitation yesterday." He declares.

"That's great! I hope you get in."

"Me too. So..." He gets closer to you and wiggles his eyebrows. "How's the boyfriend going?"

You blush.

"H-He's doing alright.... he's a sweet guy..."

"Ooh, you're blushing! He really must be a sweet guy! When can I meet him?!"

"Y-You wanna meet him?"

He nods hard like an innocent child, sparkles in his eyes.

"Haha alright, alright!" You laugh lightheartedly. "You'll get to meet him."

"Yay!" He cheers.

"But he's probably at Samezuka swimming with Sousuke to get some extra practice. By the time we finish shopping and getting ice cream, he should be done and we'll go see him."

"Alrighty! Let's go!" He chimes. "Hot Topic has a saaaale!"

He grabs your hand and runs.

"Ah! W-Wait, Kenta!"

Momo and Nitori pop their heads out of the bushes after seeing what happened with (Y/n) and her cousin.

"Maybe it's a misunderstanding..." Nitori suggests. "We didn't hear what they were saying..."

"Did you even pay attention?! She was blushing and laughing and everything! Besides, I can read lips."

"Pft, yeah right..." Nitori grumbles in sarcasm.

"I'm serious! They're gonna go out on an ice cream date at the mall!"

He grabs Nitori's hand.

"We gotta go tell Matsuoka-senpai!" Momo declares.

"Man..." Nitori sighs. "Matsuoka-senpai isn't gonna like this...."

"WHAT?" Rin's voice booms in the echoed building where Samezuka's pool is at.

"It's true! We saw her with some guy at the train station! They hugged and she was blushing and laughing!" Momo shouts.

"B-But (Y/n)-chan would never cheat on him, Momo!" Nitori insists. "As I said before, it was probably a misunder-"

"That son of a bitch." Rin growls. "I'll give them both a piece of my mind! Come on, you two." Rin stomps off lividly.

Momo follows Rin.

"W-Wait, guys! Listen to me!" Nitori whines and runs after them.

Sousuke swims up to the surface. He looks around to see no one is here.

Did Rin go inside already?

He shrugs his shoulders and continues swimming.

You and Kenta get ice cream and sit at a table. You place the shopping bags in the empty chair next to you.

"Wow, Kenta. You sure got a lot of stuff!" You chuckle.

You have one bag that belongs to you- a large bag from Hot Topic. Kenta has at least 3 bags from one store and 4 from another.

"Well, I gotta look fabulous for my audition~!" He chuckles with confidence.

You notice there's a Victoria's Secret bag with blue lingerie inside.

"Oí, what's this?" You tease him childishly.

"Hm?" He peers at the bag. "Oh, that's for-"

"(Y/n)!" You hear a familiar voice.

You turn around to see Nitori, Momo, and your boyfriend Rin.

"Oí, Rin!" You wave to him.

He gives you a sharp glare and you put your hand down.

What's wrong?

Rin storms up to Kenta and grabs him by the shirt.

"Who the hell are you? What do you think you're doing to my girlfriend?!" Rin thunders, a dark aura surrounding him.

"Huh?"

Kenta turns his head to you.

"Is this your boyfriend?" He asks you, dumbstruck.

"Y-yeah." You mumble.

"Damn right, I am!" Rin grumbles. "And if you ever step near her again,-"

"Uh, Rin?" You try to get his attention.

"I swear to all of humanity I will cut up your limbs-"

"Rin."

"And burn them into ashes and throw them in the ocean! Do you hear me?!"

"Rin!" You yell.

"What?! Am I not good enough for you?! Tell me, (Y/n)!" He snaps at you.

You gulp in anticipation.

"Okay. One: this is my cousin, Kenta."

Kenta smiles childishly. Rin lets him go, confused.

"Cousin?" Rin questions, slightly relieved.

"Yes. And two..."

"I'm gay." Kenta finishes for you, smiling innocently.

"....Oh."

"Hey, (Y/n)-chan! You didn't tell me your boyfriend was so hot!" Kenta drools.

"E-Excuse me?" Rin splutters, flabbergasted.

Kenta winks at him.

"H-Hey!’

You and Kenta giggle.

“C’mon, Rin, he’s just playing around, ahaha!” You laugh.

Nitori backhands Momo in the back of his head.

"Ow! Nitori-senpai!"

"I told you it was a misunderstanding! But does anyone listen to me? NO!" Nitori rants.

Momo pouts.

"I'm really sorry, man." Rin chuckles sheepishly, referring to Kenta.

"It's okay." Kenta assures. "You're such a great guy for (Y/n). She told me all about you~"

Rin blushes deeply and looks at you. Your face reddens and you look down shyly.

"Well! Now that it's taken care of, I'm gonna check out the chicks at the food court!" Momo counters innocently, turning to avoid the situation.

Nitori grabs his shirt.

"Oh no, Momo-kun." Nitori says. "You read their lips, did you not?"

Rin glares at him. Momo gulps and chuckles nervously.

"Maaaybe I misread them." He squeaks.

Silence.

"Ahh!!" Momo runs away from Rin's demonic wrath.

"Get back here, you idiot!!" Rin flares behind him, hunting him down like prey.

"My, my, what an interesting bunch!" Kenta laughs wholeheartedly.

"Heh, yeah..." You sigh.

The Next Day, at the train station

Kenta is returning home today. You and Rin go with him to say farewell.

"Are you sure you'll be alright? Do you need another night to stay?" You question Kenta.

He shakes his head with a smile.

"Don't worry! A friend of mine has a condo near Tokyo. I'll stay there until my dad picks me up."

"Alright. Say hi to Uncle Morima for me."

He nods. The train arrives.

"Oí, (Y/n.)"

"Hm?"

He smiles brightly, his eyes closed shamelessly.

"The lingerie was for me."

Rin chokes on air. You laugh.

"I'm sure it will look good on you." You say contently.

Rin nods, disturbed at the image of him in lingerie.

Kenta boards the train and he waves to you and Rin. You both wave back as the train disappears from within sight.

"(Y/n)."

You turn to Rin.

"Yeah?"

Rin pulls you into his arms to an embrace, tightly holding you.

"Rin?"

"I'm sorry. I was worried...that you were leaving me for someone else and... I didn't want to lose you."  Rin's voice wavers as he says this, like he's on the verge of breaking down.

"Rin..." You say. "I wouldn't ever leave you. You're the only one for me. You know that... right?"

He sighs.

"Yeah."

You smile.

"Good."

You raise your toes slightly and peck Rin's lips. He blushes. Then he lifts your chin and kisses you back. You melt into the fiery passion as your heart feels like it's going to burst in flames. You both pull away after a moment to gaze into each other’s eyes.

"I love you, Rin."

He kisses your forehead.

"I love you too, (Y/n)."

You both leave the train station, hand in hand.
