doing some sketching while I am sitting on my hands trying not to start Hawksbane before November 1st and this is a very basic version of the house they're staying, but I really like its design!

it's an Elacrian diplomatic residence that Ari has access to—most Elacrian houses have a tower or a water wheel or both, so they made themselves at home. the lighthouse is mostly ornamental, but the water wheel does generate a bit of power for the house.

the house sits over the coast a few miles up the peninsula from Gargon, on the sea side rather than the harbor, as Elacrians are far more at home in the elements than those native to Reoren, who primarily live inland along the rivers or on the inner coast of the harbor, as the coast along the exterior of the Grasping Claw Peninsulas is extremely rocky and weathers harsh storms—much like Elacria, so that house is bolted into that cliff.
