I went to the International Cryptozoology Museum today and it was interesting,,,

Mind you that it is called the *International* museum because it is the only cryptozoology museum

By far my favorite thing there was a taxidermy raccoon with its hand in a jar of peanut butter

Also uh,,, why is Leonardo of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fame imprisoned behind glass?

The little sign on him explains that the ninja turtles were inspired by Kappas and like sure,,, but I am still unsure the purpose of a three foot tall Leonardo in a cryptozoology museum

#overall it was very goofy and kitschy but enjoyable if you find this sort of thing interesting #I will say that no… cougars in Maine aren’t cryptids just because they aren’t *offically* there #that is not what a cryptid is….#a guy gave us a briefing on what we would see in the museum and said that was one end of the ‘crypid spectrum’ and I’m just…#and the other end was the jersey devil so idk #what am I expecting it’s the *International* Cryptozoology Museum #not to be the asshole sceptic but some stuff is real goofy #I do love mothman with all of my heart so Im not a total downer #corporeal speaks
