Suspended Ceramics? (Post crit talk)
As feedback at the crits i was advised of bringing textiles as way of assemblage to my individual pieces in order to think of a final which could be a hung ceramic work. Additionally to this, i was encouraged to look at the prehistoric/primitive era as there is possibility Automatism originated from cave drawings. The link emerged from Abstract Expressionism when Pollock famously described his creative process as a "ritual" with him dancing around the canvas acting as a Shaman.
Primitive Research
For beginning context of the pre-historic times, 50 Art Ideas (Hodge, 2013) was good to start.
Art was the first to exist before writing - was the only way of communication, the earliest art was from the Stone Age (15-10,000 BC)
Cave walls were scratched and painted on with what came to hand in that time, twigs, hands and fingers, fur scraps from animal hunting, rocks and stones, etc. Popular images that emerged were handprints, patterns, animals and scenes of hunting and tribal activity. This art was created mostly for rituals
The primitive peoples made paints and pigments from powder substances - Charcoal and chalks were mixed with animal fats to create paint. This was considered as the first ever oil paint.
The first considered form of pre-historic sculpture was carved rocks and stones, ivory and carved clay. Stones held a high significance of that period as they were thought to be solid vessels holding spirits, memories and healing quality.
Hodge, S. (2013). 50 Art Ideas You Really Need to Know. Quercus.
Lagana's paper Dadaism, Surrealism and the Unconscious (2014) offers connection with primitive era as it may have emerged hidden in sight within Dadaism.
Due to Dadaist practice of acting on instinct and making "anti-art" with what they had around them connects to the efficiency to the pre-historic people. Jean Arp is used as an example with his elementary use and assemblages of cloth, wood and paper.
It is also worth to note that the primitive era was entirely different to todays time - specifically mannerisms and how we conduct ourselves. Back then, there was no repressions of thoughts or feelings with a high freedom to act (uncivilised as it may also be called. As the world evolved, so did rules about social behaviour. This also welcomes in Freuds id, ego and super-ego theory. We are all born with the primitive gene to want to act and do as we please but social conventions has placed preventions on what would be considered as anti-social behaviour"
Surrealism - Joan Miro was fascinated by art made by children as he believed they were made from "innocent freedom" - the connects to the impulses inherited by our primitive ancestors, and also we lose that childhood innocence as we reach adolescence and then adult hood where we know we are expected to behave according to social conventions.

Louise Bourgeois
The title of the book being called Suspension is what piqued my starting point to look into ways of suspending my ceramic pieces. As a bonus, Bourgeois is a relevant artist to psychoanalysis and the unconscious. and her works are informed by Surrealism.
Lair, 1962, Bronze Painted White
looks very similar to my resin glazed porcelain. except, it looks as if a rod of clay would rise and twist to make a sculptural and formed automatic drawing
Fée Couturière, 1963, Bronze Painted White
More relatable to my porcelain forms. Although i feel this is more freely formed for the recesses to evolve where and when they please. This opens up suggestion or opportunity for something to emerge?

1: Decadence
each year, the kingdom of ilcordia commemorates the death of a tyrannical king with a day of feasts and festivals. you see nothing to celebrate about.
->explicit. contains dubcon/noncon, gore, graphic depiction of corpses, various methods of public execution, angst, threesome (kind of), necrophilia (kind of).

The finest dyes of dawn adorn Lynzveth, City of Beauty. Light shimmers prismic through twisting crystal spires and gilds the gentle waves of the Divinitas River. Flowering trees scatter starburst petals like dots of paint across the Moonstone Promenade. There are only the softest wisps of gossamer clouds drifting across the sky and the warm winds of spring. It is splendid weather for the Day of the Tyrant’s Demise.
Tranaud, the King’s Ear, catches you slinking out of the royal servant’s quarters long after the day’s festivities has begun. He seizes you by the arm before you can slip past him. “Your mask,” he hisses. You can hardly see him through all the silk and finery, ruffles and scarves and pearls lining the seams of his robes. His mask holds a tranquil expression, emerald blush dusting the sculpted cheeks. “You cannot leave the palace like that. Do not dawdle. His Eternal Eminence will be displeased.” He hears your sigh before you exhale it, snapping, “Now, Eye.”
You would drag your feet just to spite him, but you’re already running late. When you return, your face covered, Tranaud nods in approval and lets you pass. Merchants gather just beyond the palace bridge, selling silks, pigments and alcoran flowers, their opal blossoms in full, glittering bloom. Children play with toy swords, shrieking and laughing. Their small masks are tipped with horns and flowers, little cherub wings. The one playing the part of the Tyrant is cornered at the edge of a fountain, teetering on the stone edge. “Kill him!” the others cry out in glee, closing in with their paper lances and daggers. “Stab him! Drown him! Slit his throat! As many times as it takes!”
The glassy, crystal path of the Moonstone Promenade sparkles beneath the noon sun. Rainbows of light arc across a makeshift stage, tasseled velvet curtains and elaborate costumes speckled with kaleidoscopic splendor. The crowd is enormous, gathered on all sides of the elevated stage platform. You spot King Leolis in his ornate robes easily, enormously tall and surrounded by dignitaries. It’s easy to reach him. The crowd parts for you, native Ilcordians bowing in deference, outsiders shrinking back with unease and suspicion. Unnerved the smooth strangeness of your mask, the inhuman shapes, the lack of holes for eyes.
“A Blessed Day of the Tyrant’s Demise to you, Eye,” King Leolis murmurs. His twin masks are opposites, one of jagged gold and ivory, one of smooth silver and obsidian, sun and moon. The sun mask gazes up at the stage while the other is downturned, scrutinizing you. A noblewoman hangs on his arm—a foreigner, her face bare. She has powdered her face, rouged her lips, painted her eyes in an imitation of the local style with shimmering inks. She makes herself smile brightly, intent on holding this single expression without the slightest twitch. She has tried, meticulously, to make herself resemble a Lynzvethian mask, an effort you find both amusing and pitiable.
“Which one are you?” she asks. “I’ve met the Ear and the Tongue already. What a delightfully strange practice!”
“The Eye, my lady,” you say. She hesitates to offer her hand, flinching when you press your porcelain mask against her fingers in an imitation of a kiss.
The reenactment is half over. You’ve arrived just in time for the Tyrant’s death by disembowelment. The executioner’s black robes flutter behind her like a crow’s wings as she crosses the stage, ceremonial dagger clutched in one gloved hand. Her beaked mask is scarlet, wreathed with blood red feathers and a veil of black lace. “How unsightly, this beast that once ruled!” she recites. “He has defied the noose and scorned the flame. Shall he face my blade with the same impenitence?”
The Tyrant, bound to a wooden beam, struggles against his bindings. There is a crack in the facade of his weeping mask, tears of sapphire dotting the golden cheeks. “Please don’t do this,” he begs. “Please, I—there’s been a mistake. I’ve been loyal all my life.”
The noblewoman’s discomfort is obvious. She shifts, the beads and baubles along her dress clinking together. “What is it that you do, exactly? Eyes and Ears and whatnot,” she asks.
“Ilcordian monarchs are blessed by the heavens,” King Leolis says. He strokes her arm through one velvet sleeve, drawing her gaze to the serene expression of his sun mask. “We manifest our will through these appendages. An Ear and Eye to learn all that happens in the realm, a Tongue to speak what is decreed…”
“Peculiar,” she says. “We have a royal spymaster for such things.”
“A spymaster can’t do what I can,” you say.
On stage, the executioner unsheathes the ceremonial dagger. The blade glints in the golden light, sharpened to a razor point. She begins the Butcher’s Lament, long, poetic verse about duty, honor and the cleansing of sin, drowned out by the Tyrant’s shrieks. “King Leolis!” he screams. “I’ve done nothing wrong! I’ve done nothing—!”
“This death I give with pleasure!” the executioner declares. She glides forward, dagger in hand. With vengeful purpose, she drives the blade into the Tyrant’s chest. The sound is a dull, wet thunk. The executioner must always be an actor of great strength and dexterity to strike through flesh, and sinew, to saw through layer upon layer of sacrificial garment and expose the flesh beneath, and to do it all with style. This one is perhaps the best you’ve ever seen. She works with artful precision and wild ecstasy all at once, soft giggles turning to raucous laughter as she begins to gut the Tyrant like a fresh kill. Ilcordians cheer and applaud, chanting, “The Tyrant’s Demise! The Tyrant’s Demise!” Foreigners shift and murmur, hesitantly excited. They were warned, surely, heard stories at the very least, but to see it is another thing, you suppose.
“I’ve always admired the Ilcordian flair for spectacle,” the noblewoman says. “You make an art of everything.” Blood spatters across the stage and wets the executioner’s gloves. She plunges her fist into the gaping wound, wrenching a length of pulsating intestine from the Tyrant’s stomach. He makes a gurgling, weeping sound, sagging in his bindings. You watch. A dull heat ignites in the pit of your stomach, a quiet rage.
This is a farce. A disappointing imitation. The Ilcordians who were here that day know it as well as you do, but they’re willing to swallow this uninspired forgery. The real thing, you recall, was indescribably beautiful.
“Is it true you had to kill him six times?” the noblewoman asks.
“Eleven, actually,” King Leolis says. He chuckles at her wide eyes and soft gasp. “A dreadful business, but it’s behind us now.”
“For that, I’m grateful. The old king—the Tyrant,” she quickly corrects as King Leolis’ cold, moon mask turns towards her, “his war against the northern provinces came dangerously close to our borders. I woke each morning to smoke on the horizon, fearing the worst.”
“Never again,” King Leolis vows. He touches her openly, shamelessly, his hand sliding from her arm to the small of her back as he draws her in. “War is not my way. You will see that, in time.” The noblewoman’s facade nearly crumbles, the corner of her lips twitching, her eyes half-lidded with desire. You wonder what she, and all foreigners, think is beneath an Ilcordian’s mask. Ear has told you all manner of bizarre rumors he overhears, that your masks magically change themselves to suit your soul, that you die if they break, that the masks are your faces. She must believe the latter. Unfortunate, you think. If King Leolis manages to lure her to his bedchambers tonight, she’s unlikely to survive the night.
“Could you send your Eye away?” she asks quietly.
King Leolis’ masks both turn towards you, lingering behind her. He says nothing. You stare back at those mismatched faces, both gentle and stern. He is, to the outsiders, austere and imposing, towering over mere mortals. To you, he is no better than the reenactment, the impotent squelch of flesh unraveling around a blade, a shadow cast by a greater being. You say, with a sweeping bow, “If that is what the lady wishes.” You know that King Leolis lets out the breath he was holding only when you have crossed the Moonstone Promenade and gone far, far away.
Veyette, the King’s Tongue, stands in the town square, drowning in an extravagant gown. The lips of her black mask are stretched in a wide, golden smile, a crescent moon and stars painted across her features. She stands straight-backed, hands clasped together, as motionless as stone. “His Eternal Eminence welcomes you to the City of Beauty,” she says, her voice smooth and pleasing. “Partake in all that intrigues you. Indulge in all that pleases you. That is the Ilcordian way.”
You’re restless. It’s hard to sit still for long. Another, more grand production of the reenactment is staged at the amphitheater, a venue of greenery and marble columns with the scent of flowers wafting through the air. You drift through during the infamous scene where a mob of Lynzvethians storm the palace, disinterested even as the Tyrant is dragged across the stage in chains, sobbing, “Don’t just stand there! Help me! Do something! You really think Leolis is any better? You think it won’t be you up here next year?”
Courtesans in lavender masks travel in search of the lonely and unoccupied, alcorans and their winding stems painted beside their eyes. They whisper to starstruck outsiders about the coming celebrations, a performance of movement and pleasure held in the royal gardens beneath the moon. Gossip is everywhere. A horde of nobles corner you in the marketplace, fishing for secrets. “King Leolis is refreshing, isn’t he? More fond of the pen than the sword,” one says.
“He is what he is,” you say, amused. Outsiders are fun to look at with their expressive, fearful eyes and quivering lips.
“Do you think he’s interested in increasing trade with the western realms?” another presses.
“I wouldn’t know.”
“I suppose you haven’t been his Eye for long. He only ascended to the throne four years ago. How does that work, anyway? It sounds like sorcery. You simply came into existence when he became king?”
“I’m not his,” you say. The nobles make even more interesting faces. You watch their skin stretch and furrow, their mouths twisting into worried frowns.
“That mouth will get you into trouble one of these days.” Oanick, the King’s Hand, drapes his spidery fingers over your shoulder. Swirls of silver are embossed across his mask, a colorful diamond pattern adorning the edges. “Honored guests,” he addresses the outsiders, tilting his tricorn hat, “don’t mind this one. The Eye is a creature of riddles. We are the appendages of His Eternal Eminence. King is such an uninspired title in comparison.” His grip slides down to your wrist and he drags you away, heels clicking across the stone path.
“Are you upset with me for telling the truth?” you ask.
“You forget yourself. You are to watch. Nothing more.” He doesn’t look quite as absurd as the rest of you, permitted sleeker, more subdued garments, embroidered sleeves hugging his long, slender arms. Together, you make your way back to the palace. You pass the marketplace, Veyette still speaking words that are not her own, “His Eternal Eminence asks only that you enjoy yourself to the fullest. Take what you wish and do as you desire.” The reenactment has ended at the Moonstone Promenade, the crowd dispersing. King Leolis and his conquest are already gone, onto the next spectacle.
“I’m tired of this,” you say. “Tired of all of this.”
“He does not want to see you like this, Eye.”
“He’s dead,” you say.
“Even so.”
One must pass through the palace gates, the gardens, and the servant’s quarters before finally reaching the royal cemetery. The air is cold here. The grass is gray and brittle, the sky swirling with clouds. There is sunlight beyond the trees but it doesn’t reach here. They call this strangeness “Ilcordian gloom,” and it was once everywhere. It shrouded Lynzveth in its smothering embrace. It followed the royal army into battle. It crept through the earth and menaced the frail realms on the borders of Ilocrdia, threatening to overtake them. Now, it can only be found here.
Oanick leads you to a mausoleum, the eclipsing sun and moon of the royal crest adorning the heavy, stone doors. He splays one of his long-fingered hands against the stone and pushes. You see it, and he must feel it—how all of Ilcordia trembles when that first wisp of accursed air seeps out. The darkness within is deeper than night. A set of stairs spirals into the abyss.
You don’t speak to Oanick for the entire descent, and he doesn’t speak to you. It takes everything you have to keep walking, to keep yourself from turning around. That heat in your chest burns hotter, fires of anger licking the inside of your lungs. You long for this, year after year. You dread this more than anything. Deep in the earth, covered in cobwebs, cave moss and ancient dust, lies the tomb of the old king. There is no casket. No headstone. No surviving monument that bears his name. There is only an old throne and his corpse seated upon it, still bearing the wounds of his executions.
He wears the thin, ashy remains of his once splendid robes, his head concealed behind crude burlap, the hood of the executed. Chains bind him and long, iron rods nail him to the throne. His throat is slit and gaping, his bones prominent through stretched, emaciated skin. A rope of intestine dangles from the grotesque woud in his chest, a flayed display of flesh peeled back and held open by insect pins. A snapped noose hangs around his neck. And yet, when you set foot in this old, forgotten place, you see the corpse move. His fingers flex and curl. His chest heaves with rattling breaths. He lifts his head and you feel his gaze.
Oanick shoves you so hard you stumble. You catch yourself on the armrests of the throne, face-to-face with the grotesque husk of the old king. You look back and he shakes his head. An apology. The action wasn’t his.
“Your Eternal Eminence,” you murmur, stroking the mangled, pale hand of the corpse. “You see what I see. But do you see it the way I do? I wonder what you think of all this sometimes.” It’s with some difficulty that you climb into his lap, straddling his bony hips. The chains and sharpened stakes dig into you, catching on your extravagant clothing. You push yourself closer, leaning against his chest. You hear lace tearing. You don’t care. He’s so vast compared to you, even bigger than King Leolis. He towers over you, even seated. “I don’t get it,” you admit. “He’s not much different than you. He does all the same, awful things, but more carefully. He dresses them up, gilds them. There was never any pretension to your cruelty.”
The old king sucks in a low, rumbling breath through his dead lungs. One finger twitches like a dying spider’s limb.
“What do you think of that? Do you think anything anymore?” you ask him, running your hands across his chest, feeling the unraveling silk turn to ash beneath your fingers. It’s maddening. Dead eleven times over, gray as the stone around him, and still so regal. Long, unkempt hair trickles out of the burlap hood and spills down his shoulders, the same immaculate color as the stone path of the Moonstone Promenade. You lean into him, rest your head against his cold chest. His heart beats a faint, stuttered rhythm, once with each breath. “I have always hated being your Eye,” you say. “But I hate this even more.”
You hear the click of Oanick’s heels and then his hands are on you, curling over your shoulders. They’re the same as the old king’s. Smaller, more delicate, but the same spindly fingers, the same firm, confident grasp. You can hear him panting as the old king’s arousal overtakes him, his breath warming the nape of your neck. He took his mask off. A shiver runs through you.
“I have nightmares where you take your vengeance,” you tell the corpse. “You reclaim everything. Your kingdom. Your palace. You take us, and we are whole again.” You hear your clothing coming apart, seams ripping on Oanick’s sharpened nails. The chill of the mausoleum hits your bare skin, shoulders first and then the expanse of your back. Your hands rise to the hood of the executed, feeling for the shape of the old king’s jaw. You touch him through the burlap, frame his face against your palms. “And when I wake up, I feel the Ilcordian gloom on my skin and in my lungs. And I’m hateful and afraid.”
Oanick’s lips caress the shell of your ear. His fingers hook into the strings holding your mask in place and you feel indignation. He doesn’t deserve to see you. It’s his fault that Leolin took power, his fault that this new age of masks and make believe began. “Don’t,” you whimper.
Oanick hesitates. The old king does not. The string snaps and you hear the porcelain shatter on the mausoleum floor. Oanick feels you with the king’s hands, tracing your jaw, your lips, the shape of your eyes. All of them, along your cheeks and bared forearms, wiping away the tears gathering like pearls on your collarbones. It’s the old king who grabs your hips with careless, sharp fingers, the old king who blankets himself against your back as his hands roam your body. Oanick whispers apologies and kisses your neck, and he is just as lost and broken, a disembodied appendage.
“Let us go,” you beg him. Oanick inhales sharply behind you. Your insolence is rewarded with a hand twisting in your hair and pulling hard on your scalp. The old king takes you both.
Oanick gasps and shivers as he buries his cock inside of you, his lower half moving against his will. It’s misery, shivering in the lap of a dead thing that will not die. He is cruel through Oanick, making his hands pinch and scratch you, leaving marks in your skin. Every thrust pushes you harder against his cold body. You feel his malevolence like a fog in the air, a burning smog in your lungs. You understand, without words, without anything but how frantically Oanick begins to fuck you and his teeth sink into your neck, that he still wants with the same terrifying ferocity he held in life, he still desires.
Oanick bounces you on his lap. His nails sink into your hip like knives in your skin and every thrust makes them cut deeper. “I’m sorry,” he whispers, but his kisses have turned harsh and biting. The flesh of your shoulder crunches between his teeth and you shiver at the hot press of his tongue against the wound. The pain is not as terrible as the yearning in your chest, the knowledge that this, too, is a pale imitation. A theatrical performance of something greater. The old king watches you shiver and cry as his stand-in fucks you harder, the slap of his hips against yours echoing in the emptiness of the mausoleum.
You cry out when Oanick’s hands wrap around your abdomen and you’re pulled into the rhythm of his thrusts like a toy. He slams into you and holds you still, stammering more useless apologies as you writhe. Oanick's hand wraps around your throat and starts to squeeze. Your fingers scrape at his wrist, tearing the delicate fabric of his sleeve. He rolls his hips and your eyes roll back in your head.
“He wants you to beg,” Oanick says.
“I won’t,” you mutter, and he starts to choke you again.
There is no time in the abyssal darkness of this tomb, no way of knowing how long you’re there, lungs burning, shivering between Oanick and the old king. You are broken and put back together, granted just a glimpse of wholeness. Oanick grasps your hips as he starts to move again, pounding into you faster than before. You find yourself with your arms over the old king’s bony shoulders, your fingers tangled in his hair. Your lips move mindlessly against burlap, kissing something you can only remember. His mouth doesn’t move. He does not speak, does not return your devotion. But there is rigidity in the old king that wasn’t there before, intention that does not belong to the dead. You feel, distinctly, that you are seen, beheld by hidden eyes. You feel him like a fist around your heart, squeezing until you burst.
Far above in the streets of Lynzveth, the King’s Tongue cannot help the satisfied smirk that crosses her lips. “The King is dead,” she says in a voice not her own, “long live the King.”

Hiii thank you so much for responding to my post 😊I really appreciate it lol
So I have a lot of ideas but I don’t know what to request first lol but I think I’ll go with seungwoo from victon and can it be the reader removes his make up after a long day/hard/stressful days of promos/filming?
First of all, this is painful because I've been GOING THROUGH IT™ with Seungwoo lately as I know every Alice is right now. Touching that perfect face.... 😭😭 I'm gonna miss him.
Second, sorry this took so long. I didn’t realize I had put this in drafts instead of posting! We also aren't taking one shots, but I love Seungwoo so much and this concept that I couldn't NOT write it. (We are doing gif reactions, ships, mtol, and like bullet point imagines/scenarios/headcanons).
Third, some of the inspiration for his reactions and feelings from this came directly from thoughts he's expressed on his lives and his concert about enlisting. So I'm not pulling his personality too much out of thin air. His words went right through the heart. Pain.
Fourth, for some reason I just pictured that time that I.M was taking off Minhyuk's makeup so that's sort of the imagery that popped up for this.
Trust Me
Seungwoo/Reader
Words: 1457.
Warning: Maybe a little anxiety and negative/insecure thoughts? It’s really not bad.
"Just lie back."
"You're really going to get around the eyes, right? The liner is waterproof."
"Are you going to keep nagging me or are you going to let me help you?"
"Shit. Yeah. Yeah, sure. I'm sorry."
Seungwoo leaned back on the bed, letting you straddle above him with cotton pads and makeup remover. Seungwoo looked up at you, exhaustion written on his face. You knew he was trying to hide it, but his usual sleep deprivation was catching up to him by his suppressed lethargic motions. Others might not have noticed, but you were all too aware. The late, almost dawn hour and the long day of filming seemed to have drained him of his seemingly endless reserves.
"Tell me about today. Vent."
Seungwoo sighed deep, scrunching his eyes before opening to catch your patient gaze. You could out-stare him and that never failed to get under his skin.
"You can sigh all you want, but I know something is bothering you. So vent."
His hands gently held your waist to steady you, helping to keep you balanced as you began to dig into the bag of cotton pads.
"You're not some holster for my burdens, you know? I don't want to just dump everything on you like you're supposed to fix me or something."
It took everything to restrain your eye roll at his stubbornness. He was so used to being the strong one, the silent pillar for everyone else to lean on, that it has been a constant struggle to get him to break down his walls, allow himself to be vulnerable with you.
"Woo, we talked about this. You're an adult and you're going to take care of your problems like the responsible adult you are. But you still need someone to talk it out with so you can sleep. Holding it all in is going to keep you up and I have to watch you quietly suffer which is exactly the burden you think you're trying to avoid when you don't talk to me."
You poured the remover on a pad as you allowed him to decide if he was going to open up. Taking one last look of appreciation at the beautiful, yet heavy artwork pigmenting his skin, you bent down and gently worked the foundation off his cheek, his eyes tracking your expression. The seconds ticked by with the swipes of the soft fabric across his flesh.
As you soaked another pad to work on the other cheek, you felt him take in a deep breath under you.
"The photoshoot went fine. I think it turned out nice."
Gliding the pad across his temple, clean, porcelain skin showed under now removed layers of liquid, powder, and setting spray. "Ok. But?"
"But nothing. It was fine. Took longer than expected and we started at 3 this morning, but it was good. Perfectly good."
Quirking an eyebrow at him, you didn't say anything as you continued to wipe away his foundation. The trick was to just let him keep working out what he wanted to say, but found so hard to confess. He shifted slightly in his discomfort and cleared his throat before continuing.
"I just kept thinking that this is probably the last photoshoot I'm going to do for a few years and it was just... a lot. It's supposed to be this moment where I'm happy that I was able to finish another album, but it keeps circling back that I won't be able to do this for a while."
"You know what your problem is?” a newly soaked pad working his chin.
"Hmm?"
"You think all of this is just going to disappear while you're gone. A year and a half is not that long, Woo. None of this is going anywhere. You're worrying too much."
"Things change though, right? This last year was bullshit and no one expected that. So what if everything is different?"
Chewing that over, you soaked pads to set on his eyes.
"Close 'em."
You gingerly placed the pads over his lashes, allowing the oils to break down the liner and shadow. Maybe it was the pulled threads of a looming conversation. Maybe it was his eyes closed that allowed him to feel safe enough to pull another brick off his wall, but the thoughts started to seep out.
“How can I not have any regrets? How can I not feel like I didn’t do enough, I didn’t achieve enough, I didn’t get far enough ahead when I’ve made so many mistakes and have had so many setbacks? Just when everything is starting to feel like it might be ok, I have to leave.”
His fingers squeezed your sides like anchors, the only sound filling the room was his tumultuous thoughts. You took a moment to check if the liner had lifted and rubbed it away to leave his eyelids shadow and liner free, giving him the space to continue if he wanted..
“I just feel like I’m going to let everyone down. I’m leaving them to fend for themselves when I’m supposed to protect them and give them my everything. I’m pouring so much out and it doesn’t feel like enough. And what makes it worse, I’m leaving again. It feels like I’m repeating a choice that didn’t turn out well for anyone the first time.”
Seungwoo hid his face beyond his large hands like he was trying to contain the cascade of emotions that were threatening to flood. You could feel the tension wind up in his body under you. Ragged breaths leaked passed his fingers. Grabbing his hands, you firmly pried them away from his face.
“Woo, hey. Look at me. Come on.”
Round, glossy eyes reluctantly looked up at you.
“Remember the exercise. Connect with me, match my breathing.”
Interlacing his fingers in yours, he pulled in air deep and slow, still holding your gaze.
“Good. Let it out slowly. Control it.”
The tension began to loosen as you breathed together, feeling him relaxing his muscles and sinking more into the mattress. You brought your intertwined hands up to your chest, bending over to place your forehead on his.
“You’re not a failure. You’re doing everything you can. You’re enough. Tell me.”
“I’m enough.”
“You’re not responsible for everyone. This is something that you have to do and no one is faulting you for it. You’ve already made sure everyone is well prepared. You’re enough.”
“I’m enough.”
“The past is behind you. You can only control what you’re doing right now and right now you’re holding on to something that might or might not even happen based on memories you already let go. You worrying about the present and fulfilling your duty is enough. You’re enough.”
“I’m enough.”
You sat back up, still holding on to his hands. “Better?”
His eyes were notably less glossy and he was able to afford you a loppy side smile. Satisfied that he was calmer now, you reached over to the nightstand for his toner, tipping it over a new pad, and applying the soothing liquid all over his face. He blinked up drowsily at you.
"Music is your dream, your passion. That's not going to change just because you're running around in a uniform for a few months. Music will still be here. Your friends will still be here, waiting. The world might change a little, teeny bit, but those are your constants. Trust me. Everything will be fine."
The last bit of tension melted away and his body fully relaxed. "It's really annoying how well you know me."
"I know. But it's my job. You take care of everyone else. So let me take care of you."
"That's hard."
Knowing you probably shouldn’t, but not caring too much either way, you dipped a finger into the jar of his moisturizer. Warming the light cream between your palms, you pat the product onto his face.
“It’s actually not. You’re the most caring, attentive, considerate person I’ve ever known so taking care of you is a perk. And you have that face. That’s a plus.”
Huffing a laugh he swung you down to lay beside him. He folded you into his arms, cradling your head on his bicep.
“Will you miss me?”
Dragging your arms up his back to hold him just as tight, you pulled each other closer.
“No. You’re just so hard to love. It would be a good time for me to find a new boyfriend.”
A snicker rumbled through his chest. “You’re a brat.”
“But you laughed so mission accomplished. Now sleep. It will be better in the morning. Trust me.”
"I trust you," was the last thing he said before giving up to the sleep he definitely needed.

A family-run business, Pro StoneClean has a fully insured team that has undergone extensive training in the cleaning and restoration of stones like Slate, Marble, Limestone, Travertine, Granite and Sandstone. We can also take care of Floor cleaning of Flooring that is made of Porcelain, Porcelain tile, Terracotta, Quarry tile, Terrazzo and Polished concrete. With our passion and expertise involving the use of Mortar, Putty, Grout and Cleaning agent, we will make sure that your floor is Cleaner and at its best for years to come.
Our services include:
Granite Floor Cleaning
Granite is produced by intense heat and pressure. Tremendously tough, non-porous and impermeable to acids like vinegar and citrus fruit, granite is also resistant to scratches and heat. However, oils can still stain it. Pro StoneClean makes use of a professional-grade cleaning solution and floor pad to clean the floor and grout lines using mechanical agitation. The floor is then rinsed, neutralized and extracted using an effective wet extraction system. A resurfacing technique that uses various grades of diamond abrasive pads will then remove scratches until the desired level of finish is achieved.
Karndean and Amtico Floor Cleaning
Amtico and Kardean are common brands of a product that has an appearance that is the same as real, genuine stone and wood flooring. It has several handy benefits over natural products and works perfectly well for areas that are frequently exposed to water like that of bathrooms and kitchens. The floor will be exhaustively cleaned with specialised rotary and agitation machines, a powerful cleaning solution and floor brush. After that step is concluded, the floor is rinsed and extracted with a wet extraction system. After that, the floor is speed dried with professional-grade air movers and once completely dry, a polymer dressing will be settled to give it even more protection. The finish will either be matte, satin or gloss depending on the clients’ wishes.
Limestone Floor Cleaning
Limestone is a sedimentary stone that is made up of calcium carbonate and is regularly mistaken for marble. Limestone is spongy and can stain rather easily. Acidic liquids like vinegar and citrus juices are regular causes of etching on limestone. In cleaning limestone floors, we peel away an old sealer and waxes to show the original floor surface. After that, we use an appropriate right cleaning blend and floor brush to painstakingly clean the floor using mechanical agitation. After that, the floor is then splashed, neutralized and extracted using a potent wet extraction instrument. An industrial air mover will then be used to dry the floor up before the tile and grout are prudently checked with a moisture meter. Once that is done, the floor can be sealed with an impregnator to give it extra protection from from oil and staining.
Marble Floor Cleaning
Marble is a soft stone that is known for its heavy veining and its wonderful shine. However, acids like vinegar or citrus juices will react with the calcium carbonate in the stone, causing dull spots called etching. The damaged surface of the stone will need to be repaired with the use of diamond abrasives with mechanical action to re-polish and refinish the surface. To clean marble, we use a suitable cleaning solution and floor brush and then clean it using mechanical agitation. The floor is then rinsed, neutralised and extracted with a high powered wet extraction system. We will then resurface the marble using different grades of diamond abrasive pads to remove all scratches and etch marks, leaving you with a matte, satin or a high shine mirror-like finish, depending on your preference.
Porcelain Floor Cleaning
Porcelain is a type of ceramic tile, but is harder, stronger and denser, making it more water-resistant. Porcelain is naturally stain-resistant and will not etch from acidic liquids. Its water resistance makes it easier to maintain and clean up but the grout lines are porous, making them susceptible to ingrained dirt and staining. To clean porcelain, we use an ideal cleaning solution and floor brush to deep clean the floor before rinsing and extracting the door with a powerful wet extraction system. The floor is then speed dried with an industrial air mover.
Quarry Tile Floor Cleaning
Quarry tiles are made of red clay that is fired to extremely high temperatures, making them durable and hard-wearing. Unlike terracotta, quarry tiles are non-porous and water-resistant. To clean this, we pick the right cleaning solution and then use mechanical agitation before finishing the job off with a high powered wet extraction system. The floor is then dried using powerful air movers and the tile and grout are checked using a moisture meter before it can be sealed.
Sandstone Floor Cleaning
Sandstone is a sedimentary stone, made by the accumulation of sand, clay and other carbon-based materials. It is a tough textured stone that has various natural earthy colours. Sandstone is absorbent and can be stained very easily. Spills will need to be cleaned up quickly, especially dark colours like that of red wine. We clean sandstone floors using a specific cleaning solution in a process called mechanical agitation. The floor is then washed and extracted with a wet extraction system. After it gets dried using an air mover, the floor is sealed with a water-based impregnator sealer or a colour boosting seal to bring out the shade and detail in the stone.
Slate Floor Cleaning
Slate is a natural stone floor material that is usually black, dark green and grey. This is because of the carbon and graphite found in the stone. Tans, reds and purple colours come to be when iron is existing. Green colours meanwhile, are due to the chlorite that is present. Slate is resistant to stain and not as porous compared to other stones and is not easily etched by acidic liquids. To clean slate flooring, we utilise appropriate cleaning mixtures in a procedure called mechanical agitation before the floor is washed and extracted with a wet extraction tool. The floor is then speed dried and the tile and grout are carefully inspected using a moisture meter. The floor can then be sealed with an impregnator, colour enhancing or surface sealer, depending on the finish the client wants.
Travertine Floor Cleaning
Travertine is a lot like limestone, but is created through a different geological activity. Travertine is made because of the precipitation of calcite from mineral springs. Because of this activity, travertine has a lot pits and holes that are either filled at the factory or if the client so desires, is filled with a grout and resin filler. The floor can be refinished to remove etching and scratches to either a honed, satin, or semi-polished finish. We clean travertine flooring with a particular cleaning mixture and mechanical agitation. Afterwards, the floor is washed and extracted with a wet extraction system. Once the floor is dry, the tile and grout are probed using a moisture meter. After that, the floor can be sealed using an impregnator seal to defend it from oil and staining.
Terracotta Floor Cleaning
Terracotta meaning "baked earth" and this has been used for centuries as a building material because of its durability and hard-wearing qualities. Terracotta comes in warm and natural reddish and brown colours. Because of the high porosity of the tiles, they should be professionally sealed and finished with a wax to bolster the natural colour tones of the tiles. We clean terracotta with a special cleaning solution and rinse and extract the floor with a wet extraction system. The floor is dried with an air mover and afterwards, it can be sealed using an impregnator seal with a matte or satin wax finish depending on the desired finish of the client.
Victorian Floor Cleaning
Victorian tiles are a specific type of encaustic tile that is famous for its stunning geometric patterns. Original Victorian tiles are made from clay and powdered glazes and are fired using a kiln while modern-day tiles are made from cement, colour pigments, sand and marble powder. These versions are sturdier and are more long-lasting than the original Victorian tiles. We clean Victorian tiles with a distinct cleaning solution and rinse, neutralise and extract the floor with a wet extraction system. The floor is speedily dried using an industrial air mover and once that step is done, it can be sealed with the use of an impregnator seal. A matte or satin wax finish can then be applied depending on what the client desires.

BeautyBlender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation Review
BeautyBlender’s new Bounce Foundation is a launch that had everyone talking from the moment it was announced. Now available in Australia (exclusive to Sephora) the foundation is easily one of the most ground-breaking formulas on the market and it’s actually one of the few foundations I’m most personally excited about. A few years ago, what stood to be my favourite foundation was discontinued (an old school formula of Rimmel Match Perfection Luminous Light Perfecting Foundation) and I have been on the hunt for a formula that performs just as good ever since, a hop skip and a bounce into the future and I found it.
A lightweight air whipped style texture is the overall formula of the foundation, it’s not thick or greasy in any way shape or form, but instead takes the place of a mousse consistency which feels soft and comfortable on the skin. The unique texture also has a slight blurring effect; it smooths over imperfections and texture on the skin so if scarring or flakiness are two issues you encounter you can rest assured this is a foundation that will not accentuate these.
The formula can be applied with either a beauty blender or a brush, a beauty blender will allow you to have more control and slowly build up the coverage whilst a brush will allow you to apply and blend product seamlessly without a sponge absorbing the foundation and wasting product. In my person experience I found a combination of both brush and sponge gave the best results.
Once applied, the foundation settles down to a soft, natural, and demi-matte finish which allows for just a hint of natural shine from the skin to come through without being greasy or overly matte, the flawless airbrushed finish the foundation gives is undeniable, it makes skin look incredible and naturally perfect. Every skin type will have success with the finish of this foundation, but it can also be mattified further with powder or made super dewy if skin is prepped with hydrating and illuminating products.
Staying power is another key attribute of determining whether a foundation is a good one, and whilst the 24hr claim may be a little far stretched, the staying power is impressive and the foundation manages to stay put with a flawless finish for hours on end. A primer will give you a longer period of wear time, but the foundation has great staying power on its own, and even without a primer, setting spray, or powder, the foundation looks great and lasts well.
Housed in a bottle with an airless pump (which also has a “lock” to prevent the product accidentally leaking) the product stays fresher for longer and allows you to control the amount of product you wish to use. It doesn’t stop there though, the best feature of the packaging is undoubtedly the “palette” functionality, pumping the product automatically dispenses it onto a stainless-steel palette from where you can mix and work product into your brush/tools without having to use the back of your hands.
Oxidization can often be a concern with foundation, but it’s not one that’s warranted with this one. According to beauty blender the pigments have been dried down completely before being added to the foundation so there’s no possibility of the pigments and shades shifting and darkening.
Above: Full Makeup Look, Bare Skin, Foundation Only
The shade range is pretty standard, but there is definitely some room for improvement and expansion of the shade range. Whilst I was able to find a perfect match for my porcelain skin tone (I wasn’t even the lightest shade for once!) others on the opposite end of the spectrum may have some difficulty finding a perfect match.
The verdict? BeautyBlender Bounce Foundation is 100% worth the hype, and I would not hesitate to claim it as one of my all-time favourite foundation formulas, if this is any example of what is to come from BeautyBlender in the future, then I cannot wait to see what comes next.

Germany is known for many things. It is, after all, the home of high-quality products and big industries. People visiting the country or even living here as expats/diplomats often find themselves shopping and bringing home locally-made items that could last them for generations. Functional souvenirs, if you will. I was never one for keychains or magnets as they usually become clutter and accumulate dust. Beautiful, functional, and timeless pieces are a much better choice for some serious return of investment (ROI). For this, I often recommend pieces from Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM Berlin).
It’s true that porcelain costs way more than your average ‘I Love Berlin’ shirt. However, it’s a true work of art that you can actually use and can last lifetimes.
I was lucky enough to be given a tour of the facility along with one of my closest friends in Berlin, Ute (Forum Magazine). We were shown the rigorous process of how KPM makes their porcelain and how their porcelain artists create such exquisite pieces that go beyond tableware.
You can watch the video below for a more immersive experience but I suggest you also read on for more details on how the whole process goes.
youtube
What is porcelain?
Porcelain belongs to the ceramics family, made from clay mineral raw materials. It uses Kaolin, or white clay, which forms half of the ingredients, as well as feldspar and quartz that each make-up 25% of the whole mix. It’s not easy to make porcelain. One needs a great deal of knowledge and experience. It is, however, quite rewarding. Porcelain is valuable due to its chemical and physical properties.
A teacup handle
Once moulded, fired, and glossed, the seemingly simple mixture becomes hard enough to withstand high temperatures. It becomes waterproof and even resistant to chemical attack. It also doesn’t deteriorate with age.
Creating art in KPM Berlin
I won’t bore you too much with the jargon but the process actually takes some time. The mixture of kaolin, feldspar, and quartz are actually mixed together with water which is then taken out through a filter and press system. The mixture is then aged for a year before it could be moulded into different shapes.
Plaster moulds for teacup handles
Plaster moulds are used to help form the porcelain. These moulds are 16% bigger than the intended size as the clay tends to shrink while it is being fired at.
Before and after. Notice how the glazed and finished product is smaller than the same model on the right?
Cleaning up and smoothing out the edges
After the clay comes out of the mould, they are cut up and cleaned by hand. While teacup handles (above) seem easy enough, KPM has some baskets and even dessert plates that require filigree latticework that would require one of their artists to make three thousand precise cuts for each item.
Making sure the famous Halle vases are of excellent quality
Turning up the heat
After a couple of quality checks, the porcelain is fired up in their ovens at a temperature of 980 degrees centigrade. After which, the porcelain is dipped in blue pigment. This makes it easy for quality control to spot imperfections. After all, only faultless porcelain gets the blue KPM stamp.
Shiny, shiny glaze
Perfect porcelain pieces are then dipped in glaze. Some pieces that come with matte details get a coating of orange pigment that keeps the glaze off. This is applied by hand, right before the pieces are submerged in the glaze.
The protective pigment that keeps these plates’ edges matte
Smooth and shiny
Painting
The artwork on porcelain is made by hand. KPM’s painters take time – sometimes months – to complete paintings on bigger pieces.
Lots of fine details take a lot of time to do
I just love how their painting rooms feel so homey. Their artists have been with them for years and they’ve personalised their spaces to encourage their own creativity. A popular theme on KPM Berlin vases is nature and the artists surrounded themselves with plants as inspiration.

A special project
The Halle vase’s 100 years of Bauhaus makeover
Taking the art home
The end of the tour brings you to the manufacturing site’s shop. A huge space that’s a mix of modern and traditional. I love how the 255-year-old company keeps up with the times. It’s like saying that porcelain is not just for old people and those who like antiques. They usually do collaborations with artists and they even have a special edition of the Halle vase for the 100th year of Bauhaus.
Both the modern and the traditional under one roof
At this point, I’ll be sharing some of my favourite pieces in their store.
Your next-level, luxe to-go cup. Ordering at Starbucks will never be the same.
Gold teacups, reflecting the design of their saucers. My absolute favourite.
24-k gold powder was used for gilding their porcelain.
Nothing beats a classic white
White and blue for a calming combo
The staff in the store are helpful and can guide you in picking up pieces for your home. There’s also a corner where you can customise your KPM Berlin porcelain.
Thanks for modelling, Ute!
I was absolutely smitten with the bar at the end of the store. They have some of the porcelain pieces on and behind it too. Classy.

Looking for a steal?
They’re quite easy to spot.
If you’re looking for a bargain, they also have their sale items on display on the ground floor. Don’t say I never share the good details. 😉
With that said, I hope you enjoyed and learned a bit about porcelain through the video and this post! Please share with your friends if you did!

William Stephenson, On Undertaking More In Life By William Stephenson
Tennis is a single of the most toughest games out there. Air hockey tables are the items that the childhood memories of a lot of adults are filled with, as they have been at their pique in terms of reputation in the late 1970's and mid-1980's. Children of the '70s and '80s would play with pals at nearby arcades and college dorms, volleying air hockey pucks at mid speeds, enjoying hours of fun. Today's tables are not these Foundation Free Download of your childhood. They are quickly, using contemporary technologies to reduce friction and improve speeds substantially, in part to greater air blower motors and far more sophisticated air hockey pucks. Look into Sportcraft and Carrom tables to bring that same entertaining and excitement back to your family's lives.
I began playing Capsim for my university course without the essential knowledge. Only by Round 3 did I know how to play the game, but it was already as well late. A lot how to download foundation of profitable simulations later, right here I'm looking for to avoid the exact same issue happen to you.
Mineral makeup contains only pure mineral pigments in concentrated type. Due to their concentration they perform the functions of concealer, foundation and powder - and extremely all in a single application which binds to the skin so effectively How to Download Foundation that very little touch-up is required as the day progresses.
This will force students to contemplate what prices they will need to set for every single item and then the denominations that will be necessary for acquiring. I suggest one rotation set up the retailer with the income, costs and signage and the next rotation try the shop as clients and retailer keepers. You should permit where i can download foundation that group to give feedback to the subsequent groups about what wants to be fixed. For example, the initial group may set the product quantity of $2.50 but not offer any 50 cent pieces for the subsequent group to give alter. This activity enables students to begin considering outdoors the box rather than just becoming purchasers and sellers.
Werner Erhard has developed new methods of seeing items in places exactly where progress has stalled or where breakthroughs would make a important difference. A majority of the Fortune one hundred firms and a lot How to Download Foundation of foundations and governmental entities have utilised his ideas and models. More than two million folks around the planet have participated in the public, corporate and academic programs and courses he has produced.
I touched the foundation up with my hands to blend it far better. As you can see it looks Considerably better than the image with How to Download Foundation out the touch up. It does a relatively great job of covering my imperfections but I really feel that the Full Coverage covers far more.
I don't realize the deal with makeup. I will take all-natural beauty more than a mask any day. To me putting on makeup is like admitting you discover your self ugly and never accept your self for who you are. I in no way wear makeup and it hasn't stopped guys from becoming where i can download foundation attracted to me. I wish our society could quit providing ladies complexes, I am tired of everybody thinking they're ugly simply because they feel they must appear like an air brushed super model.
If you are familiar with my blog, you might know I have acne prone, shine prone, combination skin. The finish on this is extremely organic to me: not also dewy, but also not matte. I can not get over just how smooth and porcelain like it leaves my skin! I do prefer how to download foundation to set it with powder to get the matte finish I favor and aid avert shine from creeping up later on in the day. HydraLux has not caused my skin to break out at all.
1 query I study a lot is can you actually mix Dry Compounds with water or acrylic medium to generate a standard acrylic paint? Lets try it out. For the test I employed plain water and Vallejo Game Colour Thinner, which is a transparent acrylic flow improver, essentially the same as the new Lahmian Medium. I located out that since How to Download Foundation the paint is really thick and grainy, you need to add a lot of water or medium to dissolve the pigments, which final results in a extremely thin and badly covering paint, plus these grainy particles may well outcome in an uneven finish. Designing Your Kitchen With Concrete Tiles
Concrete tiles, similarly referred to as cement tiles, are generic products for both residential plus commercial areas. After undergoing revitalization in the early 20th century then dipping off again in the 50s and 60s, the concrete tiles are having a comeback. Esteemed for their toughness and exclusive designs concrete tiles are among the most common selections for kitchens. If you are presently in the development of refurbishing your kitchen, or you have been fantasizing of improving your kitchen space, the concrete tiles are indeed a material to check out.
Why Are Concrete Tiles Superb for Your Kitchens?
You will have a tough time discovering a material that is as exciting and provides as numerous design opportunities as concrete tiles. They may be completed into just about whichever pattern, design and color you can envisage, which is a motive why many property holders are picking concrete tiles instead of other materials, akin to plain ceramic tiles and hardwood floors, for their kitchens. Cement tiles are extraordinarily hard-wearing and resilient, owing to their manufacturing process. A combination of sand, color pigments, mineral powders and cement, are poured in metal molds, supported by aggregates and strengthened by approximately 2,000 pounds of force. The consequence is a tile that will not chip, fade, or display signs of tear and wear, plus a design that shall remain as beautiful as it initially did for an extended time.
Consider the general look
Your floor must work together with the remainder of your kitchen consequently take a look plus material of the units into consideration when choosing flooring. There is an extensive range of floor covering materials on the proposition that can be employed to improve your cooking zone. Nonetheless, before you set out on an element, there are several significant points to deliberate.

For your kitchen refashion, do not supervise the adaptability of concrete tiles. The consequence will be a kitchen that is flawlessly on point to your character, and that shall keep up attractively for numerous years to come. It necessitates to perform on many levels –safety, ease of cleaning and durability – and it need look great, also. In the end, your high-quality of flooring can break or make your kitchen appearance. It is stress-free to oversee kitchen flooring when you are eventful thinking of what appliances, units plus added extras you will have. On Reviewing Things I Like: Kiko Milano Matte Fusion Pressed Powder Shade 04 Honey
This was not really my first compact powder ever. My obsession towards makeup products started when i was about to visit my fiancè’s house and by that time i had only been using sunscreen and liptint in my whole life, and so i was in hesitation to buy any more products to apply to my face. I then bought Iba Compact Powder and since then i kept using it over sunscreen, and as that compact was not so much pricey it actually does its job.. well.. quite worthily. And after that time i decided i would make compact powder a regular daily use, and so i bought this Kiko Milano one and once I used it i fell in love with it.
As a smart move before buying, i did research on affordable brand that is liked by experts and at some point i came accross this Kiko Milano brand, and as i dug in i actually figured that it is a very good brand which aims for high-end quality with affordable prices, and so i bought the powder and i did not regret. It costed around 1000 something.
To me as this was my first time buying another product besides sunscreen and lip tint, i had no clue whether this powder can be called good or not. For result after application itself im overly satisfied, to me it works of buildable coverage, it makes skin looks matte and actually porcelain-like, and it stays on for LONG. It is not even a makeup powder, it is mere pressed powder, but the stay quality is very nice that i rarely did retouch after using. Even if i do sheer application it is noticeable in making my skin looks better in term of smoothness. It also does not dry skin out, even though im personally unsure since everytime i will go out i always apply sunscreen which works to moisturize also, so if the powder is drying i will not notice.
I did not buy any other pressed powder after but i for sure will buy this again after i finish current one, cause i really love it, even though i might try from another powder range from Kiko Milano.
In comparison, i happened to buy Dior Forever powder makeup and comparing dior to this kiko milano one, i feel like dior is too much pricey for only that much quality, and in reverse this kiko milano works so nicely in low price. So i would say this powder is worthy of the price. The only noticeable difference between that dior one and the kiko milano one is that the dior will not stain face mask while kiko milano does stain. Is it because the dior one is makeup powder or is it because of the brand, i have no idea.
The case is super luxurious and goodlooking, and sponge applicator is very fine and washable (i washed it often as i love it a lot and want to keep it good as long as possible), and the size, the compactness, the way it opens and closes, all are just nice. Even the applicator from dior was so-so, unattractive at all, but applicator of this powder was so specialized.
I just had heard that Kiko Milano might stop producing and i hope they will never do that. It is one of the most underrated, unheard brand out there that actually is of very good quality. It offers some vegan products also, and their products are non comdeogenic so it never breaks me out. Just that from what i observe is that Kiko Milano’s eyeshadows range are not that much pigmented, though i never bought one. I never understand eyeshadows. I think they are a waste. They have only product expiry of 6 months, they dry your eyelids, and on top of that they offer so many colours in one palette which in no way you will be able to finish in just 6 months unless you sleep with those eyeshadows on.
Which reminds me, this pressed powder has expiry date of 30 months after you open it, which is something very amazing and i dont find it much on beauty products. One more reason to love this brand (and the pressed powder).
Images; on the powder also there was stamp of KK symbol but for some reason i did not take pic of it

Evangeline’s Edition: Current Favourite Products
I’m always trying beauty products, and as a result, I’m always asked what my favourite products are, so here I’m bring you “Evangeline’s Edition”, a round up of the current products that I’m obsessed with and give my tick of approval.
Milky Foot Exfoliation Pads
Chemical foot peels are a product that is both satisfying and kind of grotesque at the same time, but they’re also super effective! I recently tried the Milky Foot foot peel, and I must say the results were definitely impressive. I’ve tried many foot peels in the past and besides the odd one or two most have been fails (as in my feet never even peeled!) with the Milky Foot Foot peel however, the results came through within just three days when my feet had started to peel, by day 5 my feet were shedding like a snake! The intense AHA/BHA combination did not irritate my skin (and I am generally quite prone to irritation) nor did the peeling irritate my feet. It gave results, removed rough skin from my feet (which have kind of been tormented since I walked what felt like 1000km when I visited NYC last year) and left my feet looking and feeling silky, smooth, and healthy. What more can you ask for?
Drunk Elephant T.L.C Glycolic Night Serum
Drunk Elephant is definitely one of the most popular skincare brands of the moment, and it’s no surprise why, their products are effective and contain ingredients which are scientifically proven to benefit skin. Admittedly I haven’t tried a lot of products from the brand, but from what I have tried I have loved. The Drunk Elephant TLC Serum for example has become one of my favourite skincare products, although I do not use the serum each night (I find the concentration of AHA’s and BHA’s can be a bit intense for my sensitive skin) I do use it twice a week and occasionally use it as a mask (washing it off after 5 minutes) the serum instantly refreshes the skin and helps to improve skin texture and appearance. I can report that my skin looks better, feels better, and that my makeup applies smoother! I have also found this serum to be a fantastic product for use on scars as the chemical exfoliating action help to increase cell turnover, I’ve been using it daily on my legs and have seen a noticeable difference.
Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel
I’ve never really been a huge fan of clear brow gels (I often find them a little sticky and thick) but tinted brow gels on the other hand, I LOVE. The Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in particular is one of my favourites, and a newer addition to makeup routine in the past few months, it has good hold, feels lightweight, and really does make the brows look thicker. The formula has a well dispersed amount of fibers which cling to brow hairs and work to create a fuller look without appearing to artificial or unnatural. The lightweight texture lasts all day with comfortable hold and doesn’t flake off or smudge and the dual-sided brush allows you to build up the product and concentrate it on any sparse areas. I’ve even used it previously to fill in my brows using an angled brush when I accidentally forgot to pack my brow pencil on a short trip - the results were fantastic! Whilst the Hourglass Brow Gel doesn’t necessarily replace my holy grail Too Faced Brow Quickie Gel (I find the formula is more thickening and it gives a more feathery look to the brows) it is definitely one of my favourites that remains on rotation!
BeautyBlender Bounce Long Wear Liquid Whip Foundation
BeautyBlender Bounce has been one of the most hyped up foundation launches of the past 12 months, and for good reason. It’s amazing! Easily one of the best foundations I have ever tried, BeautyBlender Bounce exceeded all my expectations and has easily cemented itself as one of my staple, go-to foundations. For years I’ve been searching for a perfect alternative to Rimmel Match Perfection Light Reflecting Radiance Foundation (Ever since it was discontinued) and I’m pleased to say that I’ve finally found it. The ultra lightweight whipped texture means this foundation easily applies, and smooths over the skin (and any imperfections) with absolute ease all whilst feeling light as a feather. The foundation gives medium to full coverage with absolute ease, but can also be sheered down to a more natural level, regardless of what level you like your coverage, the foundation doesn’t cake or look heavy and unnatural. The finish is absolutely beautiful and gave me an airbrushed, flawless and perfected look, it’s not too matte, but not too shiny either so it doesn’t make the skin look dry or greasy. I was able to find a match for my porcelain skin, and I found the staying power impressive. All in all it’s a great foundation. Read a full review of the BeautyBlender Bounce Long Wear Liquid Whip Foundation
Too Faced Peach My Cheeks Melting Powder Blush
I must admit I was pretty skeptical about these cream blushes when I first saw them. The product is definitely interesting and unique. Formulated as a “cream blush” which instantly transforms into a lightweight powder when applied, they aren’t anywhere near as complicated as they sound. The unique formula is smooth, buttery, pigmented, and easily blendable which are all things that help make a great blush. The powder finish gives a natural radiant finish to the skin, unlike most cream blushes it gives a very subtle matte finish, which looks silky smooth, but isn’t quite as dry or chalky as a powder. Almost sort of like a putty, blurring powder formula, it can be confusing to identify exactly what sort of blush this is (and what way it should be applied) I found these cream blushes work best when applied with a buffing brush, just a simple swipe over the product with a brush and then a sweep over the cheeks followed by a quick buff, the blushes give a really gorgeous subtle, natural looking flush of colour to the cheeks. The cream-powder formula also gives this product really great staying power. There are six shades in the range, and I’ve found Peach Dream to be the most beautiful natural shade on my porcelain skin.

What causes gray hair
Huge stress in daily life may also cause gray hair. In addition, the use of improper hair dyes, cosmetics, and poor eating habits, pernicious anemia, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, etc., may cause the increase of gray hair.
At present, in the treatment of gray hair, it is recommended that there be other departments such as dermatology, psychiatry, and family medicine. In addition, you can try to start with changes in diet and living habits:
1. Don't have a partial eclipse, eat more foods rich in vitamins and minerals, such as kelp, green vegetables, black sesame, etc.
2. Learn how to soothe your emotions, such as singing a song, yelling in an open space, finding a "trash can" to pour it out, etc., are all good methods.
3. When using hair dye, you should read the instructions carefully and follow the precautions (such as wearing gloves before dyeing your hair, and do not dye your hair within 48 hours after perm).
4. The best interval between hair dyeing is one to two months, and hair dyeing should be avoided during menstruation and pregnancy.
5. Eat less artificially added foods, such as instant noodles, preserves or pickled products.
6. Homemade black hair medicine for diet:
Polygonum multiflorum porridge: 50 grams of Polygonum multiflorum are decocted in water and the residue is removed. Add a cup of white rice, appropriate amount of rock sugar, and red dates to make a porridge.
Yam Sesame Paste: Dice the yam, then boil it with black sesame powder and rock sugar to form a thick paste.
. Although the causes of gray hair have not been fully understood so far, clinically, the common predisposing factors are mainly: chronic diseases, endocrine disorders, nutritional deficiencies, family inheritance, and so on. Research in modern medical psychology has also found that emotional disturbance can also make hair gray. This is because when you are busy with study and work, you can’t get relief and relaxation, worry, overuse of the brain, and long-term stimulation of the mind can cause contracture of the blood vessels that supply hair nutrition, which in turn causes the dermal papilla at the root of the hair to produce melanin. The dysfunction occurs. Even if melanin can be produced, it can produce a large amount of white hair in a short time due to the obstruction of the input channel. This is what the saying goes: "A smile, ten years young; an sorrow, a white head".
So, how should young people prevent and treat the problems of long white hair? Generally speaking, we can start from the following aspects:
1. Stay optimistic. Being optimistic about life and maintaining a happy mood will help make your hair black and beautiful. Even if you encounter unsatisfactory things or even misfortunes, don't put your own psychological world into a desperate situation. Because this is nothing more than punishing yourself with other people's mistakes, it will not only help you, but it will also be counterproductive, and even cause greater misfortune, thus speeding up the pace of gray hair.
2. Strengthen nutrition. Hair loses the nutrient supply to maintain normal pigments and also turns white. Many scientific studies have proved that niacin in vitamins, p-aminobenzoic acid, carotene, citric acid, etc., all have important effects on the formation of pigments and their metabolism. If there are obstacles or changes in their absorption, storage, utilization, etc., the green silk can become hoarfrost. In the diet, we must not be short of foods containing vitamins B1, B2, B6, niacin, etc. for a long time, otherwise, the hair will turn from black to gray, and then white. Scientific research in recent years also shows that. Lack of certain trace elements, such as copper, iron, etc., can also make hair white. Therefore, in order to prevent whiteheads, one should pay attention to dietary conditioning, and usually eat more vitamin-rich beans, vegetables, fruits, and grains in order to fully absorb the nutrients that generate black hair. The liver of various animals contains a lot of copper. Tomatoes, potatoes, spinach also contain a certain amount of copper, iron and other trace elements, which should be eaten appropriately. Of course, people with gray hair due to lack of vitamins can also take drugs such as vitamin B2, B6, and multivitamins, but they do not get immediate results. They need to be taken for a long time under the guidance of a doctor.
3. Treat diseases. Certain infectious diseases and chronic local focal inflammation. Such as dental caries, tonsillitis, and suppurative sinusitis, etc., can also cause gray hair through the action of bacteria and nerve reflexes. In terms of endocrine, the pituitary gland, adrenal glands and autonomic nervous system are closely related to the secretion of melanin, which promotes the formation of melanin. The endocrine is normal, and the secretion of black excitatory hormone is more, the melanin formed is more, and the hair color is darker; otherwise, the gray hair will grow in clusters. In addition, sexual dysplasia can also cause gray hair. Therefore, in order to prevent the growth of gray hair, the above-mentioned diseases must be treated as soon as possible.
4. Massage the scalp. In order to prevent gray hair, you can insist on drawing small circles on the scalp with your index and middle fingers after getting up in the morning and before going to bed, and rub the scalp: first from the top of the forehead to the back occiput, and then from the forehead to the pillow through the temples on both sides. Department. Massage for 1 to 2 minutes each time, rub back and forth 30 to 40 times per minute, and then gradually increase to 5 to 10 minutes. This kind of massage can accelerate the local blood circulation of the hair follicle and make the hair papilla get sufficient blood supply. In this way, the pigment cell nutrition of the hair bulb is improved, the cell activity is enhanced, and the division speeds up, which will help to secrete melanin and darken the hair.
5. Comb your hair diligently. Combing hair frequently is also a physical massage method, which came from Chao Yuanfang, a physician in the Sui Dynasty. He believes that the root cause of gray hair is physical weakness and malnutrition in "Trends on the Causes of Diseases" and "White Hair" White. This is scientifically reasonable: combing your hair diligently can not only keep the scalp and hair clean, but also accelerate blood circulation, increase the nutrition of the pores, and achieve the effect of preventing the hair from turning white. In addition to medication, you can also use the following simple methods to treat gray hair: Scalp massage daily before going to bed and after waking up the next day, rub the scalp with the fingers of both hands, from the forehead through the top of the head to the pillow for 2 to 4 minutes each time, and then rub back and forth 30 to 40 times per minute, and then gradually extend to each time 5 to 10 minutes. As long as you stick to it for a long time, you will have black hair after three or four years. Scalp massage has a good effect on promoting blood circulation, and it is also needed by the elderly for health care.

What Does Matte Mean in Makeup
Matte makeup gets out with no shine and is normally flat with color, adding that the payoff is more softened than its glossy matches. If you are wondering what does matte mean in makeup, then here we tell you everything about matte makeup. Matte is the season’s most significant makeup trend. Matte is when your face is not shiny. Matte makeup offers the conjecture of poreless skin and a natural finish, which means the shine and oil are nowhere to be seen. The matte makeup is frequently associated with dry, powdery skin, not necessarily so.
A fully mattified face will cater to fabulous porcelain doll vibes, making people wonder how you have gotten your pores to virtually disappear in a matter of minutes. Like shimmery or dewy makeup, matte makeup can have a bright impression when used accurately. To go fully matte, you will need to work from your base upwards, which means a matte facial primer is an absolute must.
Matte makeup stays on better than more emollient makeup. The matte makeup generally contains no slippery minerals, oil, or petroleum, so it is not apt to migrate. Matte makeup is oil-absorbing. It’s a type of makeup that offers a completely matte finish to the face. This makeup can perfect women with extremely oily skin, and it can hide the skin imperfections, effectively offering a smooth and comfortable finish.
The matte makeup also offers the picture-perfect look, but it is hard to get with an oily face. One of the basic problems for beauties with oily skin is that no matter how valuable makeup products they apply, it begins to fade oil starts to seep out after some time, making a face look all shiny. The oily face looks sticky and tired and requires repeated touch-ups to control the excess oil. Going matte can help make sure that your makeup stays matte and in place for long, even without repeated touch-ups.
Oily skin types might swear by matte makeup finishes to combat shine regularly; however, fruit pigmented matte makeup is made with nourishing ingredients that can serve dry skin types. On a professional level, the recipes are created without shining ingredients such as mica and silica and are preferably stocked with low-reflection additives such as talc. Unlike the excellent quality, newer matte powders have smaller particle sizes, so the product lays cleaner and mixes more seamlessly without looking dry and chalky.
One of the best things about matte makeup is that though it is a long-kept secret of professional makeup artists. Matte makeup will help to control the excess oil off your skin and will make your face appear fresh and flawless all day long. Wearing matte makeup is not very complicated; all it requires is the right techniques and the right products. To get the perfect matte makeup finish starting with exfoliating your skin is the best way to go. After then you are toning, moisturizing the skin, and making the base for the matte makeup. Then priming face, conceal the flaws, and apply use a matte foundation.
If you want to know what does matte mean in makeup, this guide will help you know all about matte makeup.

5 major applications of luminous powder
In our work contact, most people don't know much about glow in the dark powder. They don't understand what luminous powder can be used for, and what effect can be achieved. Today this article will talk about the application of several aspects of luminous powder.
The luminous powder used in plastic products:
The plastics industry is one of the most-used industries in the application of luminous powder. It can usually use injection molding and other processes to produce plastic toys, crafts, zippers, hard hats, and other products with luminous effects. These plastic products with luminous effects can increase the safety, interestingness, energy-saving, and environmental protection of customers when they are used.
Below we introduce some instructions and precautions in details for luminous powder used in the plastics industry:
1 Proportion:
Generally speaking, it is reasonable for the final product to contain 10-20% of luminous powder (not absolute, only for reference), based on the final effect the customer wants to achieve and its own injection molding technical support. It is added according to the brightness that the final product wants to make. The higher the ratio of addition or the higher the brightness level of the added glow powder, the higher the brightness of the final product.
2 Medium:
In the injection molding process, if the plastic materials we use are not highly translucent, this will also cause the luminous powder can not absorb light or emit light. Therefore, the plastic material should be as transparent and light-transmissive as possible, and the luminous effect will be better. The materials that can be injected are PP, PE, PVC, PU, PS, ABS, TPR, EVA, PMMA, nylon, etc.
3 Form:
When the injection molding is performed, the shape of the plastic raw material should be similar to that of the luminous powder. (Plastic powder mix with glow powder and plastic masterbatch mix with glow masterbatch) It is easier to mix evenly, and the dispersion of luminous powder in the final product will be better.
Very often, customers report that after buying glow in the dark powder and using it on plastic, they find that the brightness of the luminous powder is not as good as expected. Even it is not bright, and it becomes black. It is due to various reasons, for example, injection molding technology, injection molding machine, the temperature of the molten material may cause blackening. And one of the reasons for the low brightness of the luminous powder is that it may be exposed to acid and metal during use. All these reasons will cause the brightness of luminous powder to be greatly reduced. (The reason for injection blackening can be found in another blog of mine). Glow Technology has recently developed a special luminous powder for injection molding, which greatly reduces the possibility of blackening in injection molding. Please contact us for specific details.
The luminous powder used for printing:
It is to use luminous ink to print as needed, adding glow in the dark powder pigment into printing ink and print on clothing, carton products, or other materials. It is generally used for clothing or venue identification in special work occasions such as public security, transportation, fire fighting, stage performances, or for casual wear, children's clothing, and interior decoration. For example, many building number signs are screen-printed to create a luminous effect. It can be used as a reminder at night, without power consumption, energy-saving, and environmental protection. All kinds of small animal patterns are better if the luminous effect is printed on the eyes of the animals. After the night, the eyes will shine, increasing the artistic charm of the fabric. For the plant pattern, it is possible to print the luminescent color paste on its small flowers or flower cores, and the effect at night is also very interesting.
There are many printing processes. We will talk about the most commonly used
screen printing in luminous printing:
The first and most important point of screen printing is that the particle size of the glow in the dark powder must be smaller than the size of the mesh. Otherwise, the luminous powder cannot pass through the screen and affect the luminous effect of the final product;
Influencing factors of luminous effect and precautions
(1) The addition ratio of luminous powder in luminous ink should be about 20% -40% according to the weight. The higher the addition ratio can reduce the number of repeated printing to achieve a better luminous effect.
(2) According to different printing materials, we choose different types of transparent inks, such as printing metal materials, we must select metal-specific inks. such as printing PVC materials, we must select PVC-specific inks, the higher the transparency, the better the effect.
(3) If it is water-based ink, you need to use waterproof glow powder.
(4) If the substrate is transparent or dark, white ink can be printed as a base to improve the luminous effect.
(5) Selecting luminous powder with high brightness level can reduce the proportion of addition.
The choice of luminous powder
Luminous materials are required to be non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-radioactive, safe for the human body, and not harmful to the environment. At present, there are many types of luminous materials on the market. Short-acting luminous powders have low luminous brightness and short afterglow time, while rare earth-doped aluminate inorganic long afterglow luminous powders have strong energy storage. High luminous brightness, afterglow time can be up to 12 hours. It is a kind of material that is used a lot at present.
Glow in the dark powder for paint
Glow in the dark paint has a very high luminous intensity, Glow Technology's long-lasting luminous paint can continuously emit light for about 12 hours.
It can be recycled for unlimited times, has a long service life, is non-toxic and harmless, does not contain radioactive elements, and is a new generation of environmentally friendly decorative coatings. It can be used on the ground, wall, indoor and outdoor, and has the advantages of strong abrasion resistance, mildew resistance and durability, and strong weather resistance. Luminous paint is composed of luminous powder and water-based paint. Glow powder' quality and the proportion of materials added determines the brightness of glow paint. A typical application of luminous paint:
(applicable to display night objects and back materials)
1.Architectural decoration, interior decoration, lighting, painting, wall surface.
2.Night object identification label, power switch, tool, or toolbox.
3.Beautify business locations such as PUB, KTV, storefronts, large parties.
4.Traffic signs, fire emergency escape system, military equipment, garden beautification.
5.Clocks, buttons, field instruments or indicators, radios, cameras.
6.Bicycles, locomotives, automobiles, body patterns and aluminum rings, steel rings.
7.Fishing equipment, aquarium equipment, flags, stickers, toys.
8.General ornaments, stunning image painting, ceiling beautification, etc.
The luminous powder used in ceramics:
The glow in the ceramics a product sintered in a high-temperature under restore environment. The reason for its luminescence is mainly due to the physical photoluminescence generated by the transition of the low-valent electronic energy level of the rare earth element therein. Sintered ceramic glass requires a high temperature in an oxidizing atmosphere. If the luminous powder is directly applied, it will be oxidized, and the rare earth element will be oxidized to become a high valence state. The function of luminous will be lost.
Therefore, there are only two ways to make luminous ceramics:
1. The proportion of luminous powder is generally between 30% -50%. After mixing the luminous powder with some transparent paints, it is coated on the surface of the ceramic. There is no oxidation and sintering process in this way, so the luminous powder will not be damaged. However, due to the presence of paint, the original glazed effect of the ceramic is lost.
2. Use luminous ceramic glaze. This luminous ceramic glaze is a special luminous product. In the low-temperature stage, the enamel is quickly liquefied to seal the luminous powder and no more prolonged contact with oxygen. So it can ensure the luminous effect to a certain extent. However, even for luminous ceramic glazes, the lower the sintering temperature, and the shorter the sintering time, the better the luminous effect. It is more suitable for building ceramics, such as wall tiles and waistline products.
Ceramics can be turned into luminescent ceramics by adding luminous powder. Each piece of ceramic has a different proportion of glow in the dark pigment, and it will have a different luminous effect.
After absorbing the light source, ceramics can also admire the embryonic shape of the artwork in the dark space. It greatly improves the appreciation value of the artwork itself so that the artwork has a higher interpretation.
The production of high-grade luminous ceramic products can be made into luminous patterns as required, and products with completely luminous surfaces can also be produced;
Attention should be paid to the firing process:
(1) The luminous powder should avoid strong friction with metal objects; otherwise, it will affect the luminous effect;
(2) Choose a low-temperature glaze that matches the porcelain blank, and control the temperature and time. If the temperature is too high, the luminous powder may decompose; too long time will affect the luminous effect.
The problem often encountered when firing finished ceramics is that bubbles appear. This problem is generally due to the existence of the combination of additives or the chemical stability of the molten block and the transparent glaze. The proportion can be changed, or the additives can be replaced. It can also add an anti-foaming agent to eliminate.
To determine whether ceramics can be made into luminous materials, the specific process must also consult professional glow in the dark powder manufacturers.
How to use the luminous powder in glass:
The application of glass is very similar to ceramics. The point to note is that the temperature should be controlled below 500 degrees Celsius, and low-temperature glass is the first choice.
If the glass is fired at a high temperature, remember not to pour luminous powder directly into a high-temperature glass water. The luminous powder will have a luminous effect. You can use a shaped glass blank that has not been completely cooled down and fixed to a large-diameter luminous powder on the surface And then coated with a layer of glass to make the effect of starlight glass.
From the above, it can be seen that luminous powder is widely used in the three major industries of plastics, paints, and inks. It is subject to temperature restrictions in ceramic tiles and glass and requires more technical adjustments. However, Glow Technology has continuously been improving the quality of the luminous powder. Continuous research will do its best to meet all customer needs.
