Starting to dislike desert duo and how dysfunctional the fandom makes them be.
Like canon is one thing but idk the fandom desert duo has been wearing on me.
One of the tropes I absolutely hate is Grian pushing Scar away and being a dick because he doesn't wanna hurt Scar and then hurting scar in the process and Scar then comforting him.
Grian hurt Scar so why is Scar the one comforting him.

can't express enough how little the idea of "making content" appeals to me. i don't give a shit about making "content", i just want to make art.
"content" implies easy digestibility, something you consume and then are finished with. i want my time and effort to mean something. maybe that means making someone feel a certain way, maybe it inspires them to make something themselves, maybe it's as simple as saving it to their camera roll. i just don't want my efforts to be commodified into that convenient marketable package of "content"
